At the Tarabiscoville park, the battle between the heroes and the villains was becoming a bit intense as both sides were determined not to give up. Catboy used his Super Cat Speed to avoid Romeo's ice ray while also restraining Robot with some Super Cat Stripes, Owlette fired her Super Owl Feathers at Luna Girl and Motsuki as they fired their moon beams in retaliation, Gekko used his Super Gecko Shield to block Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos' sticky splats, Ice Cub and An Yu used their ice and staff wind abilities respectively to counter the Wolfies' sonic howl, Lilyfay flew around the area while shooting starlight zing beams at Octobella as she used a light-blue crystal to deflect the beams and launch some water tornados, Bastet blocked all of Pharaoh Boy's staff beams with her trusty Sun Disk and also made sure to teleport in other spots while Armadylan assisted her by drawing Pharaoh Boy's attention away with his Rolling Thunder power, and Newton was busy attempting to hit Carly and Cartoka in their Flashcar with his star power lasers. Needless to say, both sides of good and evil were giving it their all this night.
"Why won't you stupid heroes just let us beat you for once?!" Luna Girl asked irritatingly, continuing to shoot moon beams at Owlette with her moth sister.
"It's getting so annoying when you all beat us!" Rip added as she pounced at Ice Cub, who avoided her on his snowboard.
"As if we'd ever let you villains win any night!" Gekko retorted, blocking more incoming sticky splats.
"We'll always win and you'll always lose! Owl Wing Wind!" Owlette called before she blew a huge gust of wind from her cape, which sent Luna and Motsuki plummeting to the ground with surprised screams.
Catboy continued to avoid all of Romeo's ice beams from the cold-inducing weapon and Owlette acted quickly by flying down and snatching the ice ray right out of the evil science boy's hands.
"Hey! Give that back, you feathered crook!" Romeo called out angrily.
"You want this? Here, then!" Owlette replied before she then fired the ray at him, causing Romeo to get encased in a block of ice.
"Gyah! This is too cold!" Romeo exclaimed, chattering his teeth. "Robot, get me out of this!"
"I'll try my best, master!" Robot replied as he quickly rushed towards Romeo and started pounding on the ice.
Newton was currently chasing after the Speedy Twins as they drove around the park in their Flashcar, laughing out loud.
"You can't catch us, space boy!" Carly called out with a smirk.
"Yeah, we're way too fast for you!" Cartoka added before he steered their vehicle away from another of Newton's star beams.
Newton grunted frustratingly as he struggled to land a direct hit on the Flashcar, but he then noticed Ice Cub and An Yu still battling against the Wolfies and this have him an idea.
"Ice Cub, An Yu, be ready to move! I'm bringing a fast-moving vehicle your way!" Newton called, turning back to Speedy Twins and using his star powers again.
"What does he mean by that?" An Yu asked as she and Ice Cub avoided another sonic howl.
"I don't know." Ice Cub admitted.
Cartoka quickly steered the Flashcar away from Newton's incoming star beams while Carly was busy keeping their vehicle's engines up and running.
"That star boy doesn't know when to quit!" Carly stated before she noticed Newton fire a beam on their left side. "Make a right turn, bro!"
Cartoka yelped shockingly as he steered the Flashcar to the right and Newton's beam ended up missing again. However, the Flashcar was now driving straight towards Ice Cub, An Yu and the Wolfies.
"Can we stop, now? My throat's starting to get sore." Kevin told his wolf-siblings, rubbing his throat a bit.
"No way! We're so close to beating these lame heroes!" Howler replied. "Just one more howl and we'll blow them out of the park!"
"I like that!" Rip agreed before she and her brothers unleashed another combined sonic howl at Ice Cub and An Yu.
"Now, you two!" Newton shouted to his teammates.
Ice Cub and An Yu immediately moved to both sides and the sonic howl's new target became the Flashcar, where Carly and Cartoka shouted nervously as their ride was blown away by the howl and crashed into a tree.
"Watch where you three are howling, mutts!" Cartoka yelled angrily.
"Yeah, you totally damaged our Flashcar!" Carly added.
"It's not our fault you two were driving our way when we were about to howl those pyjama kids!" Rip argued.
"But, we're still sorry!" Kevin called out sheepishly.
"Shut up, Kevin!" Howler yelled.
"Wow! That was a great plan!" Ice Cub remarked. "Guiding those two to get blasted away by a sonic howl!"
"Excellent thinking, Newton." An Yu said with a smile.
"Thanks. It's all part of being a very smart hero." Newton commented proudly.
On the other side of the field, Lilyfay and Bastet stood back to back with each other as Octobella and Pharaoh Boy approached them while laughing sinisterly.
"Looks like the stupid space fairy and the Egyptian kitty are trapped. Exactly how I like it!" Octobella mocked.
"This is the part where both of you bow before us or face our superior power!" Pharaoh Boy announced.
"There is no way we'd ever bow to villains like you two!" Lilyfay stated with a glare.
"And it's our power that is superior!" Bastet added, letting out a cat-like growl.
"It still doesn't matter. Neither of you can beat both of us." Octobella replied smugly.
"But I can!" A familiar voice shouted from above, making the conflicting group look up to see Armadylan jump high into the air and fall back down. "THUNDER THUMP!"
Everyone on both sides of heroes and villains could see Armadylan descending down with his feet glowing in an orangish-brown glow, which made them all very worried.
"Uh oh." Luna Girl muttered.
"That's not good!" Gekko said nervously.
"Incoming!" Catboy yelled as he and the other Power Heroes jumped out of the way, but the villains weren't so lucky.
As soon as Armadylan landed feet-first on the ground, he sent out a massive wave of energy that spread throughout the entire park and caused all of the nighttime villains to get blown right away along with their respective belongings, screaming all the way towards the other side. When the Thunder Thump wave soon vanished, the Power Heroes stood back up and they approached Armadylan.
"Alright! Now that was a great move!" Armadylan remarked. "Did anyone else see me blow all of those lame villains away?!"
"You could've warned us before you did that huge Thunder Thump first, Armadylan." Owlette replied with her arms crossed.
"We could have been blown away, as well." Ice Cub admitted.
"My kitty ears are still hurting." Bastet whined, rubbing the ear features of her costume.
"Sorry, you guys." Armadylan apologised sheepishly.
All the villains groaned as they stood up, feeling very week from that super huge Thunder Thump they just took.
"This is not going the way we thought it would." Luna Girl admitted.
"Stupid heroes are beating all of us!" Motsuki complained.
"I suggest we retreat and come up with a much better plan to defeat those pesky PJs." Night Ninja suggested as his Ninjalinos nodded in agreement.
"Hey, I'm the leader of this evil alliance and I make the decisions!" Romeo declared firmly.
"Should we still retreat, master?" Robot asked.
"Yes, and we will come back with a vengeance!" Romeo stated, shooting a glare at the Power Heroes. "This is not ever yet, Power Heroes!"
"We'll come back and defeat you once and for all!" Pharaoh Boy announced.
"And just for the record, you're all totally lame!" Rip called out mockingly before all of them started to retreat, with the Speedy Twins driving away in their damaged vehicle.
"Especially you, little green guy!" Octobella added.
Once the villains were gone from the park, the Power Heroes cheered out joyfully while giving each other some high-fives or quick embraces.
"We did it, again!" Catboy remarked.
"Tonight's victory was a truly joyous one." An Yu said, smiling calmly.
"Those villains always think they're going to win every night, but we always foil their plans." Newton commented.
"Too true." Gekko agreed.
"So, shall we all head back to Space Q since there's nothing else going on?" Ice Cub asked.
"That sounds like a good idea." Catboy replied with a nod.
"Yeah, we could all play some board games, read hero comics or check out all the stars." Newton suggested.
"That's super zing-tastic!" Lilyfay cheered enthusiastically.
"Yeah, let's get back right now!" Armadylan stated before the young heroes began to walk their way towards the park exit, where their vehicles were currently parked at.
"So, Newton, what did you see at the museum's new exhibit?" Catboy asked.
"Uh…nothing that seemed magical, that's all." Newton replied with a nervous smile, hiding the fact of what he unintentionally did to that eagle statue.
"Shall we all use the same seats we took on our way here?" An Yu questioned.
"Yeah, it's just easier." Owlette answered.
"Hey, what's that over there?" Gekko asked, pointing towards something on the left side.
The other Power Heroes followed his gaze and he saw that parked on the pathway near their PJ vehicles was a silver Porsche 964 with a few blue highlights.
"I think that's a Porsche." Newton identified.
"A what?" Armadylan questioned in confusion.
"It's a special type of car that was made years ago and it can drive at a very high speed." Catboy said. "That one looks very sleek, especially with all the blue highlights."
"You would like it if it had blue colours." Owlette giggled.
"But, what is this vehicle doing out here in the middle of the night without it's owner?" Bastet asked curiously.
"I don't know. Maybe some of us should go check it out?" Catboy suggested.
"Okay, Catboy. You go ahead." Lilyfay told him, much to the cat-themed hero's surprise.
"Me? Why me?" He asked.
"Because you're the one who suggested it in the first place." Ice Cub answered.
"Fine, I'll take a quick look." Catboy sighed in defeat, walking up to the Porsche car.
"Wait for us, Catboy." Owlette said as she and Gekko quickly followed him. "We'll see it with you."
But unknown to the Power Heroes, the same yellow Camaro from before drove behind them and had to pull over since they were in the way. Catboy, Owlette and Gekko looked through the front window of the Porsche to see there was no driver, but they did notice a very strange symbol that was located on the middle of the steering wheel.
"Hey, what's that weird symbol on the steering wheel?" Gekko asked with a raised eyebrow.
"No clue. I've never seen a symbol like that one before." Owlette admitted.
"It could belong to a new villain we've never met." Catboy guessed.
"Or a new hero. You never really know." Gekko said.
The Camaro behind the Power Heroes seemed to be focusing on the Porsche they inspected and flashed it's front lights, almost like it was sending a signal. But from the corners of the small houses, the same police car robot that was spying on the Camaro peeked out to see all of them in his sights, narrowing his eyes dangerously.
"Hey, what do you three see in there?" Newton asked, gaining the main hero trio's attention.
"Just a strange-looking symbol that we haven't seen before." Catboy answered. "It almost looks like a gruff person's face."
"Does that mean it belongs to a hero or villain?" Ice Cub questioned.
"Maybe, but it could also mean it belongs to a different kind of group." Owlette said.
"It is a very interesting mystery that none of us can solve." Bastet admitted.
As the Power Heroes kept chatting, the police car robot suddenly shifted his left hand into a blaster weapon and aimed it straight at the Camaro behind them.
"I get to terminate an Autobot and exterminate a few little fleshlings in the process." The police car robot said, smiling sinisterly. "It's all perfect!"
The Camaro moved it's side mirror and spotted the police car robot aiming his blaster at him, and this made the yellow car realise it was planning to destroy him with the Power Heroes caught in the crossfire. The silver Porsche seemed to notice this, as well.
"Still, I have a really strange feeling that this car isn't what it appears to be." Catboy said, looking at the Porsche suspiciously.
"What makes you think that, Catboy?" An Yu asked.
"Yeah, it's just an ordinary car. It's nothing like your fancy Cat Car." Armadylan added.
Before Catboy could make a reply, he and the other heroes started to hear the Porsche's radio turn on and it emitted a strange sound.
"This is an emergency. All Autobots, report to the base immediately for mission briefing." A wise and deep voice said on the radio. "Are you hearing this, Mirage? Roll out."
"Wait, who was that?" Ice Cub asked confusingly.
"I don't know, but it sounded like it came from the Porsche's radio." Gekko replied.
"What did it mean by 'Autobots'?" Lilyfay questioned.
The police car robot had the yellow Camaro in his sights and powered up his blaster for a direct shot.
"Goodbye, Auto-byte." The police car robot whispered.
Seeing that the evil robot was about to fire and that there wasn't any other option, the silver Porsche suddenly started up it's engines and drove straight at the Power Heroes before it then opened it's driver door and scooped up Catboy, Owlette and Gekko as they yelped in shock.
"Hey, what's going on?!" Owlette asked astonishingly.
"That car just scooped us in by itself!" Catboy exclaimed. "But, it shouldn't do that without a driver!"
Before any of their friends could attempt to free them, the silver Porsche then drove right away with the main trio in his front seats.
"Catboy! Owlette! Gekko!" Newton called worriedly.
"Where is that vehicle taking them?!" Lilyfay questioned.
"That doesn't matter! We must follow it and rescue them!" An Yu announced.
But then, the six young heroes heard a charging noise and they quickly turned around to see the police car robot stepping out from his hiding spot and aiming his blaster.
"I'll just have to settle with you six fleshlings, then!" He declared menacingly.
"W-Where'd that giant robot come from?!" Armadylan asked with a terrified expression. "Is it one of Romeo's?!"
Before the police car robot could fire his blaster, the Camaro instantly reversed and hit him on its legs from his back before instantly driving towards the Power Heroes. Once it pulled up right next to the scared heroes, the Camaro opened its front passenger door to them.
"Come with me if you want to live." The Camaro said on it's radio.
"By the claws of Cleopatra! This car is alive!" Bastet exclaimed in total shock.
"And I think it wants us to get inside?" Newton guessed.
"Should we even trust an automobile that is able to operate by itself?" An Yu asked suspiciously.
"I don't think we have a choice right now, considering we're about to be shot at by that of metal!" Armadylan replied, pointing towards the recovered police car robot.
"It is too big for us to fight against." Lilyfay admitted in fear.
"Come on!" Ice Cub stated before he jumped into the Camaro, causing the others to do the same.
The Camaro closed it's door and then drove away in the same direction the Porsche went with Catboy, Owlette and Gekko. The police car robot growled in frustration when he saw the Camaro escaping from him.
"You won't get away from me that easily." He scowled before jumping ahead and transforming into his police car form, chasing his targets and leaving the Power Heroes vehicles behind.
(Linebreak)
The silver Porsche was seen driving through the streets of Tarabiscoville at high speed, while the PJ Masks trio were being tossed and flung around inside while yelping in panic.
"Catboy, you've gotta do something! Make this crazy car stop or hit the brake!" Gekko told the cat-themed hero.
"I am, but it's not doing anything!" Catboy exclaimed, repeatedly slamming his foot on the brake pedal. "None of this is me! The car's driving by itself!"
"But cars aren't supposed to drive by themselves!" Owlette replied in a panic. "It doesn't make sense!"
The trio heard another motor engine behind them and they turned around to the back window to see the yellow Camaro driving straight behind them with the other Power Heroes inside.
"Guys! Get us out of here!" Gekko called out, banging on the windows as the Camaro drove beside them.
"Why are you all driving in that yellow car?!" Owlette questioned.
"It wasn't by choice! It just told us to get in and then drove off!" Newton replied.
"It told you?!" Catboy repeated in disbelief.
"That's not our biggest problem, right now! We're being chased by that!" An Yu stated, pointing behind everyone.
They looked back and saw the same evil robot that had transformed into a police car driving straight at them.
"The police?!" Gekko asked shockingly.
"No, it's some kind of really big robot and it tried to fire some kind of blasting weapon at us!" Lilyfay replied. "It was not zing-tastic!"
The police car robot accelerated straight at the Power Heroes in the two living cars, ramming into the back of the silver Porsche as the PJ Masks trio were stunned by this.
"Okay, he's definitely not a nice police officer!" Catboy admitted, getting even more worried on the inside.
"But what did we ever do to that giant robot?!" Gekko questioned.
"We think it belongs to Romeo!" Ice Cub called. "But, we had no idea he could make robots that turn into cars!"
"That's because he usually doesn't!" Owlette stated.
The police car robot tried to bash the Porsche again, but the yellow Camaro slowed down a bit and tackled him away on the side. The Camaro and the Porsche increased their speed to escape, with the police car robot tailing them.
"You can't escape me, Autobots! I'll chase you to the ends of this planet!" The police car robot called out.
The Camaro and Porsche cars made a sharp left turn at the upcoming intersection and the Power Heroes held onto each other tightly to keep themselves from flying all over the vehicles they were in.
"These things are going to fast and I don't like it!" Armadylan yelled.
"I just wish there was a way we could make them do what we command!" Bastet commented, gripping her seat with all fours.
"Just hold on tight, everyone!" Catboy instructed.
The police car robot started to catch up with them as he shifted some parts on the front hood to reveal a pair of turret weapons, which then began shooting straight at the Power Heroes and the vehicles that abducted them.
"Is that robot car shooting gun weapons at us?! That's insane!" Owlette exclaimed as she was just ready to freak out.
"None of our villains have used something like that! It just comes with too much negative zing!" Lilyfay cried.
The Camaro was able to swerve around the road with great driving skills to avoid the turret shots, while the Porsche accelerated straight ahead and suddenly drove straight off a ramp over a small construction site on the road, making Catboy, Owlette and Gekko shout terrifyingly. The silver Porsche landed back on the road next to the Camaro, which saw the police car robot was still shooting at them and it released a large stream of oil from it's exhaust pipe. When the police car robot drove on the oil stream, he started slipping uncontrollably and had to slow down to decrease his chance of crashing into anything.
"That seems to have slowed down our robotic attacker!" An Yu told her team.
"But he still won't stop chasing us!" Catboy replied.
"Mirage-do the thing." The Camaro's radio said as it seemed to be referring to the silver Porsche, switching between two sets of channel voices.
"Wait, Mirage?" Newton repeated.
Suddenly, the Porsche emitted a blue holographic light onto the Camaro and it used holographic lighting to make it look like an exact copy of the Porsche. The silver-blue vehicle then projected two more Porsche holograms behind, which left the Power Heroes very surprised.
"W-Where did those cars come from?" Gekko asked with a gasp in shock.
"The car that is holding us has also changed into the same one!" Bastet realised.
"They look like illusions, which are basically digital images of things that aren't really there." Ice Cub theorised.
The police car robot soon managed to regain his driving composition, but he noticed the four copies of the Porsche in front of him and growled in annoyance.
"Clever trick, but it still isn't going to save you!" The police car robot declared, driving straight up to them.
The four Porsches drove around separately in order to confuse the police car robot, who kept his focus on the one that was at the front left.
"You're mine!" The police car robot stated before shooting his turrets at the Porsche, only for it to disappear in blue holographic lights when the shots made contact. "What?!"
Just then, two of the Porsches drove right behind the police car robot and the left one was revealed to be the Camaro when the hologram disguise faded. The real Porsche shifted out a powerful-looking blaster from it's side and it fired a big laser blast, hitting the police car robot and blowing him off the road with a casual-sized explosion. This attacked caused the police car robot to transform into his robot form and crash through a lamppost and car before he collided into a building with a painful grunt. The Camaro and the Porsche took this opportunity to drive straight away with the Power Heroes still seated in them.
"Okay, I was not expecting that to happen!" Catboy admitted surprisingly before he shoved on the door, which didn't open one bit. "But these crazy cars still won't let us out!"
"Why won't they just let us go?!" Ice Cub questioned.
"I think they're taking us somewhere!" Owlette replied.
"But where?! We didn't do anything to these vehicles!" Lilyfay stated.
"I think we're going to find our very soon!" Newton said, a little bit worried.
The Power Heroes soon vanished from the area in the vehicles that had captured them, while the evil police car robot stood back and rubbed his head in pain before glaring at where his targets had escaped.
"Barricade, come in. Have you found anything, yet?" A voice asked on a communication device.
"I found two important targets, but they're gone." The police car robot, apparently called Barricade, replied.
"In that case, return to the ship immediately." The voice on his communicator ordered. "Lord Megatron is saying that he has just made a discovery."
"I'm coming back, now." Barricade said, transforming and driving away.
But unknown to him, the Nighttime Villains were revealed to be hiding behind their respective transportations and saw everything.
"Did you all see that?" Night Ninja asked.
"Yep. Motsuki saw giant nasty robot attack Power Heroes in strange cars, and then it turned into another car and drove away." Motsuki said. "It was funny to watch. Eee!"
"We can definitely tell you didn't make that thing, Romeo. You know, since it was using weapons that don't suite us." Luna said to the evil science boy.
"Of course not. But, I have a feeling he and these associates of his will be of great use to us since the pesky heroes have already made an enemy within that mechanical being." Romeo commented, smiling deviously.
"Does this mean we have to follow that pile of steel?" Octobella questioned.
"Indeed." Pharaoh Boy replied before all the villains started going in the direction Barricade went.
(Linebreak)
Back with the Power Heroes, they were still hanging on to anything that was able to be grabbed as the Camaro and Porsche drove them straight out of the town district and towards a large abandoned warehouse that had a very large open room.
"Hey, slow down! This is too fast, even for me!" Catboy exclaimed in nervousness.
"I think I'm gonna be car-sick!" Armadylan said while holding his mouth in disgust.
"Please, don't be!" An Yu replied.
When they drove inside the warehouse, the Camaro and the Porsche screeched to their sides and opened their respective doors, causing the Power Heroes to fly out and roll against the floor while panting a bit.
"Gasping geckos…we're finally out." Gekko whispered, very relieved.
"Super fun zing! All of us are free!" Lilyfay cheered delightfully.
"I'm glad that we're finally out, but why did those crazy cars drag us all the way to this building?" Catboy asked, looking around the room.
"And why did that huge police car robot attack us for no reason?" Ice Cub questioned confusingly.
"Probably because they're completely broken and don't work properly." Armadylan said while dusting himself off.
Before they could continue their conversation, the Power Heroes then started to hear some metallic shifting noises from nearby.
"Wait, I can hear some strange sounds." Bastet said, narrowing her eyes suspiciously.
"Yeah, me too. Where are they coming from?" Newton asked.
"Uh, guys? You should all…turn around." Owlette said as she was looking behind the group, her eyes wide with astonishment in them.
The Power Heroes turned around to see what got the owl-themed heroine in such a state and they also became very shocked when they saw the Camaro and the Porsche transform into giant robots. They were both the same size, with the Camaro having a radio speaker mouth and large blue-glowing eyes while the Porsche had a large blue helmet piece.
"It feels good to get outta the car and stretch." The yellow robot said through it's radio voice.
"Whoo-hoo-hoo! That felt good! Get some oil pumpin', ya know?!" The Porsche robot exclaimed enthusiastically, stretching his body around a bit as he sighed and took a few steps. "Man, we've been cooped up forever, haven't we, Bee?"
"You can say that, again." The yellow robot replied, nodding to his friend.
"I know, right? I can't tell you how old it gets. All I've been hearing from the others is boring nags about the rules we need to follow." The Porsche robot said annoyingly. "Mirage, stay hidden! Mirage, don't draw any attention to yourself! Mirage, don't cause any problems for the humans! Mirage, we must be ready if the Decepticons come! Mirage, Pinocchio is just a movie! You'll never be a real boy."
"You're being so dramatic." The yellow robot said, rolling his mechanical eye.
"Hey, I'm just venting out my frustrations. But still, that whole chase thing with that Con was fun, and I mean loads of fun." The Porsche robot replied. "Guess you weren't expecting to meet one today, right Bee?"
"I didn't." The Camaro robot answered before gesturing to his side. "And speaking of which…"
The Porsche robot looked to where his friend was gesturing and saw the Power Heroes staring at them with very shocked expressions.
"Oh, right. Nearly forgot that we brought you kids along for the ride." The Porsche robot admitted, kneeling down to the heroes. "This is probably a lot for you, huh?"
The Power Heroes quickly stood up and activated their respective powers. Catboy, Owlette and Gekko made their costumes glow, Ice Cub, Newton and Lilyfay held out their hands for their ranged powers, An Yu held up her staff defensively, Bastet summoned her Sun Disk and Armadylan cracked his knuckles.
"Back off, metal head!" Catboy shouted.
"Don't hurt us!" Gekko pleaded.
"You will not bring any harm!" Bastet declared.
"Stay away!" Ice Cub demanded.
"Hey, wow hoo! What's with the aggression and the glowing body parts, kiddos?" The Porsche robot asked as he stood up, slightly surprised. "I thought after the car chase, we were all amigos. You gonna blast me or smack me on the head with that tiny stick?"
"It's called a staff! My Dragon Staff, to be exact!" An Yu retorted.
"And we might just attack if you do it, first!" Armadylan warned.
"There is no need for hostility." The Camaro robot said assuringly. "We come in peace."
"Besides, how're those light tricks of yours gonna stop this?" The Porsche robot questioned before shifting his hand into a cannon and aiming it down at the Power Heroes.
"Don't even think about it." The Camaro robot said, his radioed voice sounding stern.
"Chill, Bee. I'm just bluffing." The Porsche robot whispered.
The Power Heroes were scared by the cannon aiming directly at them, but they still remained strong.
"W-We still won't…run away." Owlette stuttered, trying her best to hide her fear.
"But please don't fire that big cannon at us." Lilyfay whimpered.
"Hmm, tough kids. I like that." The Porsche robot said with an impressed smile, shifting his weapon away. "I like it a lot."
"Quick question for the yellow robot, why does your voice keep sounding different?" Gekko asked curiously.
"It's just how he speaks. His voice ain't what it used to be." The Porsche robot replied.
"So, he only talks through his radio?" Newton questioned.
"That's correct, young man! That's another one hundred points for you!" The Camaro robot remarked while clapping his hands, sounding like someone from a TV game show.
"Thanks, I guess." Newton said, smiling sheepishly.
"So, what even are you? Some sort of possessed automobile?" Bastet asked in curiosity.
"Nah! That's not real, girl." The Porsche robot reassured. "We're both aliens."
"Aliens?" An Yu repeated.
"Well, it's not the first time we've encountered those kinds of beings." Gekko reminded.
"But, you all look more like robots than aliens." Ice Cub said confusingly.
"Yeah, we're a race of alien robots from a far away planet and we took refuge here after we lost some really long battle. Not only that, but we've got our own names, too." The Porsche robot told the heroes as he then thrusted his fist to them. "The name's Mirage."
There was a moment of silence in the area as the Power Heroes stared at the fist Mirage was making to them.
"Come on. Gimme a little-gimme a little-gimme a little tap. Give a little tap." Mirage whispered.
"You mean…like this?" Catboy asked, softly pressing his fist against Mirage's.
"There ya go! Now we're friends!" Mirage remarked excitedly.
"Hehe, you're actually pretty funny, Mirage." Gekko commented with a smile.
"Glad you noticed." Mirage replied.
"And, you are…?" Newton asked the Camaro robot.
"My name…is…Bumblebee." The Camaro robot, Bumblebee, answered as he switched between three voices.
"Bumblebee. That is a very nice name." An Yu said kindly.
"You two are nothing like that crazy police car robot that attacked us earlier." Ice Cub added.
"We sure aren't. He's got way less driving skills." Mirage quipped before they all heard some distant tire noises from the other side. "Oh great, the gang's here."
"Wait, there's more like you?" Owlette asked in surprise.
"Like me and Bee? No. But be cool so they don't freak out and crush any of you." Mirage instructed.
"Uh, I don't like the sound of that." Lilyfay admitted, a little bit nervous.
"Please remain calm." Bumblebee said. "It won't be so bad."
Soon entering the warehouse was the white, red and green Lancia Stratos car, the red Nissan Vanette, the white and red ambulance, the dark-green Land Rover Series III 4X4 and the red and white Ducati 916 motorcycle, which all parked together in a straight line from the back entrance. The Power Heroes heard another engine from the front and they saw that driving up to the entrance was the red and blue freightliner FLA semi truck, which then transformed into the same large and strong-built robotic being from before. Optimus Prime walked straight into the warehouse as the Power Heroes looked at him in awe.
"By my cats whiskers." Catboy said in amazement.
Just then, the Nissan Vanette and the ambulance transformed into robotic beings as well, with the Vanette becoming a muscular red robot with cannons on his arms and the ambulance becoming a middle aged-looking robot with a red v-shaped crest on his forehead. The Land Rover also transformed into a shorter robotic being with a steel helmet and yellow torso.
"You have got to be kidding me." The Land Rover robot muttered as he noticed the Power Heroes.
The Power Heroes turned their attention to the Lancia Stratos car, which transformed into a robotic being that was the same size as Bumblebee and had a helmet piece with two long ear-like structures on it.
"Well, well, look what we've got here." The Lancia Stratos robot commented with his ear pieces flashing blue everything he spoke.
The motorcycle slightly drove forward and transformed into the female robotic being from earlier as she jumped onto a low metal railing.
"Mirage, Bee, what have you done?" The female robot asked, crossing her arms disappointingly.
"You two brought a bunch of little fleshlings here?!" The muscular red robot asked sternly, glaring down at the Power Heroes as they backed up in shock.
"H-Hello." Ice Cub said, grinning in a worried way.
"Hey, guys, good to see you again." Mirage greeted awkwardly, hoping to change the subjects. "How've you all been lately? Did you get a new pair of tires, Brawn?"
"Optimus told all of us to remain hidden." Ratchet told him with a frown.
"Uh, I can explain." Bumblebee said defensively.
"Yeah, crazy coincidence. When Optimus here was calling us in his usual wise and mighty voice like 'Autobots, roll out!', these kids here were right next to us and we had to bring them along when a Decepticon attacked." Mirage explained, gesturing to his leader when he mentioned him.
"Wait, a Decepticon?!" The Land Rover robot repeated shockingly. "You two were attacked by one?"
"What's a Decepticon?" Armadylan asked quietly, earning shrugs from his friends.
"Yeah, but we managed to give him the slip and he's got no idea where we are." Mirage reassured before he turned to Optimus. "And besides, these kids are totally cool even if they're wearing some strange outfits. That cool with you, Optimus?"
"While it is unfortunate you unintentionally broke our code, I am simply relived that you and Bumblebee were able to escape the Decepticon." Optimus said.
"Thank you, sir." Bumblebee replied.
Optimus then turned his attention towards the Power Heroes and gently bent down to them, while his mask shifted away to show his calm and passionate expression.
"Who are you, young ones?" Optimus asked.
"I…I'm Catboy." Catboy introduced, slightly calmed by Optimus' tone. "These are my friends and my team, the Power Heroes."
"My name's Owlette and this is Greg." Owlette added, gesturing to herself and the lizard-themed hero.
"Hi there." Gekko greeted.
"Okay, do you three have normal human names?" The Lancia Stratos robot asked.
"We don't usually say our real names at night, but they're Connor, Amaya and Greg." Catboy answered. "The others are called An Yu, Newton, Ice Cub, Lilyfay, Bastet and Armadylan."
"Greetings, large robotic people." An Yu said while bowing kindly, while the other Power Heroes gave their own greeting words.
"So, who're all of you exactly?" Newton asked.
"And we are interested to know where you come from." Bastet admitted.
"My name is Optimus Prime. We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron." Optimus introduced.
"But you can call us Autobots for short." The ambulance robot said.
"Autobots. That is easier to say." Owlette said.
"You nine do seem pretty good to me." The female robot commented, managing to put on a slight smile.
"My expert sharpshooter and weapons officer, Arcee." Optimus introduced.
"Why do you even wear these strange cloths?" Arcee asked the Power Heroes.
"They're our hero outfits." Catboy answered.
"Just when I thought you humans couldn't be anymore stranger." The Land Rover robot commented.
"My demolition expert, Brawn." Optimus said.
"We're not all weird, you know." Newton told Brawn offensively.
"Yeah, some of us like exploring the universe with nothing but galactic zing energy." Lilyfay added, floating around a bit.
"I stand corrected." Brawn muttered.
"My weapon specialist, Ironhide." Optimus said as he gestured to the red muscular robot.
"You little kiddies better not tell anyone else about us." Ironhide told the Power Heroes firmly.
"We promise that we will not tell anyone of your existence." An Yu assured, unfazed by his tone.
"Right." Ironhide scoffed.
"Our team's medical officer, Ratchet." Optimus continued, referring to the ambulance robot.
"Strange. I'm starting to detect some energy readings from the young natives." Ratchet said while scanning the Power Heroes with a holographic screen from his arm.
"That's most likely our PJ powers. They always feel active whenever we change." Catboy replied.
"Hmm, that is very interesting." Ratchet admitted with a curious look.
"And finally, our science officer and inventor, Wheeljack." Optimus introduced the Lancia Stratos robot.
"If you children really do possess so-called great powers, I'd be interested to know how they work." Wheeljack commented.
"We could always show you how they work." Ice Cub offered.
"My powers work in an ancient Egyptian way, which would be very difficult for a mechanical being like you to understand." Bastet told the scientific Autobot.
"That's good to know." Wheeljack replied in sarcasm.
"You have already met Bumblebee and Mirage." Optimus said as both car-based Autobots waved to the Power Heroes.
"Yeah, mostly because they kidnapped us and drove us through the streets." Owlette replied, frowning mostly at Mirage.
"Hey, what was I supposed to do? Let that Con just blast all of you to dust?" Mirage asked rhetorically.
"He makes a good point." An Yu agreed.
"You are welcome, by the way." Bumblebee said.
"We apologise for having you all involved in the earlier conflict with the Decepticon you were attacked by. But rest assured, we will make sure you are free to leave very soon." Optimus assured.
"I still want to know what a Decepticon is." Lilyfay said.
"Okay, are we just gonna chat to these kids all day or are we gonna talk about what you called us here for, Prime?" Ironhide asked impatiently.
"Very well. Let us debrief on what we have discovered." Optimus replied, standing up and walking to a different spot.
"Wait, what do you all have to talk about?" Gekko asked.
"Sorry, kids, this is a grown-up Cybertronian thing. So, you're gonna have to sit somewhere while we chit-chat." Mirage replied, gesturing towards a small space under the railings.
"Do we really have to?" Catboy questioned annoyingly.
"Yeah, ya do." Mirage said.
"Alright then." Newton replied in defeat as he and the others walked towards the small space.
"We'll make sure not to interrupt anything, Mirage." Owlette assured.
Once the Power Heroes arrived in their corner, Mirage began to walk to his Autobot team.
"Why must we wait in this building? We could still just leave and head back to our space station." Bastet proclaimed.
"PJ Robot has got to be worried about us, by now." Lilyfay added.
"I say we just walk out of here, right now." Armadylan said. "It's not like those Autobots will mind."
"Not yet, guys. We should stay and hear about what the Autobots are saying." Catboy told his team.
"If you say so, Catboy." Newton replied.
"I'm actually curious to know what they're talking about, too." Gekko added.
The Power Heroes silently turned their attention towards the Autobots, who were beginning their briefing on this discovery they made.
"Okay, that energy surge we all picked up was only a few yards from within the town district we were previously in." Wheeljack said before he projected a holographic image of a familiar metal object. "I was able to construct the source of it from the energy echoes I saw on my radar."
"By the Allspark. Is that really…" Ratchet began to ask, sounding very surprised.
"Indeed, Ratchet. It exists and it is here in this area." Optimus replied.
"What the hell am I looking at?" Bumblebee asked.
"The Transwarp Key. It was thought to be lost thousands of years ago." Optimus answered with a bit of rejoice in his tone.
"Transwarp Key?" An Yu repeated quietly.
"It sounds really important." Owlette said.
"So, what does this key do exactly?" Ironhide questioned confusingly.
"It was once used to open space-time portals to Energon-rich planets throughout the universe." Optimus explained. "Many believe it even possessed the ability to transport other beings through different timelines."
"Wait, you mean Energon-rich planets like…" Mirage started saying, having a good idea of what his leader was saying.
"Cybertron." Arcee finished.
"This is just what we've been needing the entire time." Ratchet said.
"After so many years of seeking refuge on Earth, we have finally found a way home." Optimus remarked.
"They don't have a way back to their home." Gekko whispered in realisation.
"That is very bad." Lilyfay said sympathetically.
"Okay, so where do we find this tran…trun…" Brawn stuttered, trying to remember the name.
"Transwarp Key." Wheeljack corrected.
"Yeah, that." Brawn replied.
"It's in the local history museum." Wheeljack told his team.
"The museum? Newton, that's exactly where you went earlier." Catboy said, turning to the space-themed hero.
"And you did say that there was nothing that seemed magical there." Ice Cub reminded with his arms crossed.
"Well, that wasn't entirely true." Newton replied while chuckling nervously.
"You have a lot of explaining to do, buddy." Armadylan told him.
"If we know where this key is, then I say we blast into that museum and grab it so we can get off this dirt ball of a planet." Ironhide proclaimed, pounding his fist into his palm.
"That is not an option." Ratchet replied.
"Ratchet's right, Ironhide. We can't just go in blasting and steal it." Arcee said in agreement. "The human authorities will see us as a threat and hunt us down."
"What we need is a more stealthier way to obtain the key." Wheeljack said.
This made the Power Heroes perk up as they knew what to do and walked up to the Autobots.
"We can help you." Catboy said, earning the Autobots' attention.
"Wait, you all wanna help out?" Mirage asked.
"Of course. We can just quietly walk into the museum, find this Transwarp Key and then give to all of you." Owlette replied with a smile.
"But, isn't steal supposed to be a bad thing?" Bastet asked, quite unsure.
"Breaking the human law is something I do not wish to do, but if you truly did encounter a Decepticon as Mirage stated, then we must quickly obtain it before they discover it as well." Optimus declared.
"Okay, what even is a Decepticon?" Gekko asked.
"They're only the Cybertronian jerks who decided to takeover our whole planet and we were forced to leave the place when they were winning." Mirage answered.
"They sound very villainous." An Yu said, frowning a bit.
"Believe us, young girl, they're not the kind of Cybertronians you want to meet." Ratchet warned.
"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Bumblebee questioned.
"Bumblebee is correct, I do not want any of you to be involved in this." Optimus said in concern. "The nine of you are too young to be part of this matter."
"We're not strangers to doing some pretty dangerous things, Mr Optimus. Besides, helping others in need is one of the most important things of being a hero." Newton replied.
"These little humans are so strange." Ironhide whispered, earning a nod from Brawn.
"Mirage and Bumblebee already helped save us from that Decepticon who could become a police car, so the least we can do is help all of you get this Omega Key." Ice Cub said.
"Won't you please just give us a chance?" Catboy asked.
"Should we really let these kids help us? The Cons will obviously be targeting them." Arcee admitted to her team.
Optimus looked down silently as he was currently pondering to decide if he should let the Power Heroes help them. He never wanted to have any human beings be involved in the Autobots' battle against the Decepticons as he believed it would put all of them and Earth in danger. Not only that, but these nine Earth inhabitants were just younglings. But from what he learned from them, they appear to be not ordinary life forms and possess extraordinary abilities. Optimus soon came to a decision and looked towards the Power Heroes.
"Very well. If all of you are truly sincere in wanting to help, then I will allow you to." Optimus said.
"Wait, what?!" Wheeljack asked surprisingly.
"Prime, tell me you're not serious!" Ironhide exclaimed. "Ain't no way we can work with a handful of human kids!"
"I am not a human! I'm a space fairy!" Lilyfay retorted.
"What's the difference?" Ironhide asked rhetorically.
"I'm with Optimus on this one. Bee and I are already pals with these kids and having them help us out will give us a bigger advantage in numbers." Mirage commented, smiling coolly.
"I trust them with my life." Bumblebee added as he placed a hand on his chest.
"If Optimus, Bee and Mirage are okay with this, then so am I." Arcee announced.
"I'm sure it won't be too bad." Wheeljack shrugged.
"We don't really have a choice since it's Prime's decision." Brawn said in a reluctant tone.
"…Ugh, fine. We'll let you kids help out." Ironhide groaned in defeat.
"That's great. We'll do everything we can to bring you that Transwarp Key." Owlette announced.
"You can always count on the Power Heroes." Gekko added.
"Sweet! Oh, we're all gonna have the best time working together!" Mirage remarked. "We could take rides in the streets, talk about the things we like doing the most, and even give each other tours of both our worlds."
"Let's try not to go overboard, Mirage." Catboy told him.
"Do all of you think you could direct us to where this museum is?" Wheeljack asked.
"Of course, Wheeljack." An Yu answered.
"In that case, let's all head there before the Decepticons regroup to hunt us down." Ratchet said.
"Took the words right out of my mouth." Bumblebee replied in agreement.
"Alright then, let's get this show on the road!" Mirage stated with an enthusiastic smile before he immediately transformed.
"I can't bare with that kid, sometimes." Ironhide grumbled as he and the other Autobots transformed, except for Optimus.
The Power Heroes and the Autobots then exited the warehouse as the young heroes looked up at Optimus with smiles.
"Thanks for giving us this chance, Optimus." Catboy said kindly.
"Yeah, you're a really cool robo-guy." Armadylan commented.
"You are most welcome, younglings. But, there is something I am quite curious to ask of you." Optimus admitted.
"What is it?" Owlette asked.
"We have time to hear you out." Gekko said, which was enough to convince the Autobot leader.
"Why are all of you so willing to help us?" Optimus asked, sounding confused and curious.
"Well, it's because being a hero is always helping others in trouble, wether they're from Earth or from a robotic planet." Newton answered.
"And we promise, we're going to find that Transwarp Key and get you and your Autobot friends home." Ice Cub proclaimed, which made Optimus feel very grateful.
"Thank you. We are grateful for your selflessness and courage." Optimus told the Power Heroes.
"You're welcome." Bastet replied.
"And you can thank us when we get the key." Lilyfay added.
"Hey, kids, wanna ride in me? It'll be just as fun as last time." Mirage said, opening up his door.
"As long as we aren't being chased by these Decepticons." Gekko commented while chuckling a little bit.
"I doubt it, Gekko." Catboy assured before he, Owlette and Gekko jumped into Mirage, while the other Power Heroes got inside Bumblebee like last time.
Optimus then transformed into his robot mode and drove right next to the other Autobots.
"Autobots, let's move." Optimus ordered as they all began driving their way back to the main town district of Tarabiscoville, hoping to get the Transwarp Key first.
But unknown to them, a familiar robotic winged creature and a robotic being that resembled a carnivorous Dinosaur were watching them silently from within a distant tree-filled hill.
Authors Note: Transformers One may be animated and a bit comedic, but it's still a cool-looking movie to me
