Whopper ran as fast as he could, reaching the entrance of the pound. He tries to find somebody who he can tell the problem at hand, not paying attention to his surroundings he accidentally bumps into the beagle dog Cooler. He was exiting the gym carrying stacks of towels, when Whopper crashed into him causing the towels to scatter everywhere. One even landed on its head making it look like he was wearing a hat. "Whopper, you should watch where you're going. You could have hurt someone." Cooler said angrily. Mad at the fact his previously folded towels were now everywhere. "Sorry Cooler, wait till you hear this." Whopper apologizes, realizing what he did as cooler picks up the towels wanting an answer as to why he was acting so erratic.
"Whopper, I don't have time for one of your tall tales right now." Cooler stated while picking up more towels off the ground. Whopper proceeded to tell his tale despite Cooler's wishes. "But Cooler, I followed the big guy in purple. He was nasty to the puppies he adopted from our pound. And he had a map of the museum." Whopper claimed, continuing to tell Cooler what he saw in Mc. Nasty's moving truck as he took the towel off his head, mimicking what Marvin was doing beforehand.
"And he showed a picture of the bone to these two guys." He goes on and on about his tale, much to Cooler's annoyance as Whopper folds the towel and twists it aggressively. "And they're gonna steal the bone of scone for sure." Whopper yells out, finishing his long yet unconvincing story. At first Cooler didn't want to seem mean, he was a child after all. But Cooler has lost all of his patience and dismisses his childish belief.
"Alright Whopper that's enough." He says being fed up to his ramblings as he snags the towel from his paw, and stacks it on top of another one. "It's good that you have an act of imagination. But you have to learn to control it, especially if you're going to be a future heir. Someday your story is gonna get you in a lot of trouble." Cooler lectures him before walking away as Whopper looks at the ground while fiddling his cap in shame.
"But Cooler-" Whopper pleads for him to listen but he stops and interrupts him. "It's ok Whopper but I gotta go now. You go play okay?" Cooler tells him, and then he leaves. Whopper's feelings were hurt by the fact no one believes a single thing he says. He was just trying to warn everyone of the danger, but no one listened, not even his mentor Cooler. "But it's not a story. Why doesn't anyone believe me?" Whopper pouts to himself in sadness. Looks like he's gonna have to work alone on this. "I'll have to take care of it myself." Whopper says as he puts on his cap, with a determined look on his face, which he then marches off to the museum in hopes of foiling Marvin and his goons' plans.
But again he was not realizing where he was watching or going and accidentally bumped into someone. Whopper fell back down onto the ground. His eyes were a little blurry until his vision became clear again when he looked up to see it was his human friend Adam who looked at him with confusion. "Hey Whopper, what is your deal, why are you acting strange? Adam asks Whopper, confused as to why he was acting the way he was. Realizing not all hope is lost, this gave him an idea which would use the help of Adam. "Adam, I'm so glad you're here. I need your help." Whopper says in panic.
"Slow down, just tell me what's gotten into ya?" Adam asks to which Whopper took his word and calmed down, telling him what the favor was in detail. "Can you do me a big favor? It's very important." Whopper replies eagerly. "What is it, what do you want me to do?" Adam wonders, waiting for him to answer and explain the situation. "Meet me at the museum, I'll explain there." Whopper answers and rushes off to the museum. Giving Adam no time to ask him what the favor is? Leaving him very clueless on what Whopper was on about?
Adam hears someone whistling from a distance. He turns to see it was only Cooler, still carrying towels as he threw them into the bin. He's gotta admit, he's pretty good at whistling, as for other aspects? That is to be desired. "Cooler." He called out his name. Cooler heard Adam's voice which he immediately turned to see him standing there. "Hey Adam, fancy seeing you here. Whatcha doing, the adoption bizarre hasn't opened yet?" Cooler was confused as to what he was doing here so early.
"Oh I'm not here for that. It's about Whopper, he's been acting weird and a bit troubled. You're the only dog who would know something about it." Adam expressed his concern for Whopper. Cooler detects what he is actually talking about and proceeds to ask him a question. "Is it about the museum?" Cooler assumes. Adam recollects that Whopper did mention about the museum and nods his head in response.
"Did he tell you the same thing?" Adam questions him back. Cooler sighs before he face palms in annoyance. Finally getting to the point. "No but, he did tell me this story about how that guy Marvin is being mean to the pups he adopted and thinking of turning them into guard dogs, and he is gonna steal the bone of scone along with his two goons." Cooler explains to him about Whopper's tall tales. But Adam was still puzzled by this. "You don't say?" Adam asks unsure whether to be confused, or be alarmed by all of this. He went with the latter. "But why?" Adam wonders with curiosity.
"Beats me, I would just ignore it. He's a pup full of imagination. Sometimes he likes to imagine himself as a superhero, Wonder Whopper is what he calls himself." Cooler said remembering something from the past. "Awww." Adam responds in a cutesy voice, finding Whopper's imaginary superhero ego adorable. "But sometimes… he can be… a dumb kid. With an imagination way over his head." Cooler kills the mood telling Adam that Whopper was in his eyes a dumb kid, with an over exaggerated imagination.
Unaware the certain little retriever heard that from a distance. Being offended by Cooler's words, to the point where he teared up a little bit. "Hmph, I'll show you dumb kid." He mutters in grumbles wiping the tears from his face while running to the museum now with determination to prove Cooler wrong. Adam didn't take kindly to his hurtful words and gave him an angry look.
"Now hold on a second there, while I understand he can be strange sometimes you have no right to call him a dumb kid, I liked to make beliefs too when I was very little. Don't you think that was a bit harsh? Especially to a pup like him?" Adam said in his defense. Cooler raised his eyebrows at his sudden tone in his voice. It was obvious he got defensive, and he wasn't wrong about his words going too far. "Maybe you're right, I suppose that's a bit uncalled for me. But that's the way I was taught. To be strict and have authority, you wouldn't understand." Cooler claims.
"Hey boys." Adam wanted to question further but unfortunately for him he stopped, hearing Nose Marie around the corner as she walked over to the two boys. "Hey Nose, how's it been?" Cooler asked her. "Fine, very fine." Nose Marie replied, noticing Adam is right next to Cooler. "Now how about you, what brings you here?" Nose Marie then questions Adam, pointing her finger at him.
"Do I have to ask? I Just wanted a word with Cooler, but I am also worried about Whopper. Something's up with him." Adam told Nose Marie, feeling concerned for the little pup retriever. "Then would you go check on him so he doesn't get in trouble like last time, pretty please?" Nose Marie said while using her puppy dog eyes. Obviously, Adam knows the charm always works. But he was going to go after Whopper regardless. "That's exactly what I'm gonna do, I'll make sure he's alright. See ya." Adam waves goodbye to both Nose Marie and Cooler before running off chasing after Whopper before he does something stupid. "Thanks darling." Nose Marie thanked him, waving goodbye to him alongside Cooler.
"You can stop now, the kid is already on it." Cooler said sarcastically. "I know Cooler dear, gotta raise his spirits somehow." Nose Marie replies while fixing her hair. "Since you're here, have you got a few minutes to talk?" Cooler asked her. Nose Marie faces Cooler. "Yes?" Nose Marie pays attention, feeling very happy she gets some alone time with him.
"How's the trip to the mall?" Cooler starts the conversation. Nose Marie has some hearts in her eyes, listening to every word he's saying. Until she realizes she is stuck in a trance, and doesn't hear Cooler ask her another question. "Nose Marie?" Cooler asked her which led her to snap out from her trance, replying to Cooler. "Oh! Um… nothing special, but whenever I see those fancy dogs. It makes me wonder if anyone ever gives me any beauty compliments. I remember the time back when you said pretty things to your other girlfriend before the fallout. But at least you and the other dogs still understand me." Nose Marie glooms. "Of course, you're the prettiest dog gal I know." Cooler said with a compliment. "Thanks." Nose Marie replies. "Sorry to Jet in a rush, I better go now. See you around the pound." Cooler said as he went back into the pound.
Nose Marie sighs. "Cooler, I wish you knew." Is all she can say.

Everyone is leaving the museum as it begins to close up shop. Cutting to inside the museum, the two janitors had finished their shift and waved bye to the security guard. When the guard closed the door on them, he wasn't aware of the noises outside. The door suddenly opened to reveal the very two of Marvin 's henchmen. Lumpy and Bones. Dressed as the Janitors after stealing their uniforms. But the uniforms they were wearing are not their actual sizes. "Eh we missed the spot." Bones greeted the guard as he pulled the large pants up.
Lumpy and Bones begin their act as they start to clean. Lumpy uses the cloth to wash the knight while using a feather duster on its cleaves. Bones on the other hand uses the vacuum he's currently holding to get the dust off the floor. They keep up their acting while whistling a generic happy security guard ponders at their sudden return to clean. He stares, tapping on his foot, and he eventually walks along as he thought there's nothing fishy about them.
Bones saw the guard is no longer in the main entrance. They're in the clear. "He's gone. Now's our chance." Lumpy said as he started to eat a snack. He threw it away, and took out another snack. "This is gonna be a piece of cake." Bones said. Lumpy didn't like when he heard the word cake since he's hungry. "Hey don't mention food, I'm starving alright?" Lumpy tells him while being irritated by Bones after mentioning some food like cake.
Lumpy and Bones headed straight to the glass case, staring at the bone of scone. The one they were tasked to retrieve. "There's the bone, just sitting there waiting for us." Lumpy said. Bones see there's just one obstacle. "But uh, the case is locked. How are we gonna get it out?" Bones asked Lumpy if he had any ideas. "That's what vacuum cleaners are for." Lumpy took a bite of the cheese on the stick. "Now turn it on and let's get going." Lumpy gives bones the command. "You got it Lumpy." Bones replies as he turns on the vacuum.
Meanwhile outside, Adam arrives at the museum. He hears some glass shattering inside, indicating someone is here. So he carefully opens the door very slowly to avoid detection from the noises that the door makes. He made the door wide enough for him to tip toe inside. After closing the door carefully behind him. He immediately sees the two Janitors at the spot where the bone of the scone was. When he sees them using the vacuum on that glass case it didn't take Adam long to figure out what they're doing here. "The Janitors are stealing the bone of scone." He whispers to himself. When Adam is about to start thinking he starts to witness some slapsticks.
Bones accidently got Lumpy's shirt. Right after getting free from the vacuum's grip, he lost balance and tripped on the stand where the knight was standing. Letting go of the relic. Lumpy threw his hat when he saw where it was about to land. The bone landed on the hat just in time. But it doesn't end there as they took a short breather too soon to realize the knight's axe was about to chop. Lumpy and bones slide on the floor to grab it.
Then they crashed right into the rows of armors, one set of armor crashed and to the next. Adam stood there and watched the chain reaction before him. Confused and questions why all of this is happening after one minor error? Watching the arrow from the crossbow fly and ricochets one wall and bounces another after hitting the shield while the bone in the background keeps being bounced and hits the drums. The arrow hit the leg of the statue named atlas. Holding something like a boulder. Making the statue toppled and the boulder rolls off.
Bones got the bone on his shoe while Lumpy struggles to get the helmet off of him. "I caught it Lumpy, it's safe now." Bones said with glee. Only to find out it was a bad idea to celebrate too soon when the boulder rolls towards them. Bones looks away and closes his eyes as he braces for impact. Nothing had happened, Bones opened his eyes to see it was very close to get him. Bones felt pretty lucky it stopped at such a right moment.
Adam still kept watching from afar, eating some popcorn like he was watching the show. As Bones tries his best to catch the bone. The little retriever entered the museum from the dog door.
"Psst, Adam." Someone made the sound to get Adam's attention. Adam searched around to try and find whoever called his name. He was able to find someone. The familiar little puppy. "Whopper?" Adam called quietly. "Quickly, over here." Whopper waves and gestures to him. Without a second to waste he sneaks to get on over to his hiding spot. Adam tiptoes while Looking back at them making sure they're not looking in his direction.
Luckily they were too focused on the bone to even notice Adam. Bones is struggling to hold on to the bone with his mouth. Adam goes back to being stealthy, sneaking past the Janitor imposters successfully. He finally made it and rendezvous with Whopper.
"I'm so happy someone like you came to help." Whopper happily said, feeling good Adam came to his assistance. "It's no big deal. The moment I heard the glass shattered here. I am happy to admit that you were right. Except that what I'm seeing is the opposite." Adam said.
"Do you know what the boss would do if you broke that bone?" Lumpy scolds him and snatches the bone from him. Bones gets himself back up. "Yeah, break ours." Bones replies. "Ours, what do you mean by ours? You nincompoop!" Having enough of his clumsy shenanigans, he smacks him with the bone of scone. Which is a big mistake as the bone broke in half. Letting out a blue glow. The two watch as the other half landed on the ground to Whopper and Adam. "Whopper, the bone." Adam points at the other half.
"I know, the scone bone. We can't let them get it." Whopper tells him. Bone and Lumpy sees Whopper, Lumpy sees what he's gonna do. "Hey mutt, get away from that." Lumpy tells Whopper with a warning. Before things would escalate, something unexpected happened. Adam's necklace started to glow. They turn to the source of the blue light.
Adam pulls out his necklace, wondering why his necklace suddenly glowed. "What's happening to my necklace?" Adam questions. "Lumpy, are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Bones said while slowly backing up. "I'm seeing it, Bones." Lumpy replies. The glow on Adam's necklace went on as he suddenly looked to see himself glowing. It only happened for a little bit, and with that. The glowing stopped. And so did the necklace.
With the henchman distracted from seeing a majestic glow. Whopper seizes the opportunity. "Now's our chance." Whopper said as he picked up the bone. Him and Adam made a break for it and ran. Lumpy is annoyed by this after enduring so much slapstick abuse. "Look what ya did, you broke the bone with your puny rock head." Lumpy shoves the other half of the relic into his mouth. "Now go get the other half." Lumpy points at Whopper and Adam.
Bones took out the bone from his mouth. "Okay Lumpy, the other half." Bones said as he idiotically drops the first half back into the case. Thus, the chase is on.

And just when things couldn't get any more worse. While they're wondering about Whopper…
"What happened to Whopper?" Tammy wonders with worry. "I saw Whopper run-" Before Colette could continue. She started to bark. All Tammy and Jeff could only hear the dogs barking. "What's going on, something's wrong, I can't understand Colette." Jeff said. Meanwhile, from Cooler's perspective. "Hey, I can't understand Tammy and Jeff. We lost puppy power." Cooler finally figured it out.

Whopper and Adam continued to run from the two bad guys. When they're about to make it back to the main entrance. They saw the blue glow had faded away. "Something's wrong, it's not right. We need to hurry and find Cooler and the rest of the gang." Whopper said. "Right." Adam agreed. Adam and Whopper exit from the museum and hurried off to the pound.
Little do they know, Lumpy and Bones are about to catch up where they're going. First, they stop to think for a quick second. "We'll glue the two halves together, and Mc. Nasty won't notice any difference on the bone. Now let's go find that mutt with the kid, and get the other half of the bone." Lumpy plans the situation. Now the two make a rush to where the pup and the kid went. Following where they last ran.
Whopper and Adam make a quick pace back to the pound until Adam sees Cooler and the gang running past him and Whopper. "Whopper, I'll hurry and find Cooler and come back with help." Adam said. "Good idea, I'll guard half of the scone. Good luck Adam." Whopper replies. "You too." Adam bowed his head and went off in a flash to follow where Cooler and the gang were going.
