SNEAK PEEK

"You oughn't drink so early in the day." Cersei chastised her daughter, stepping closer to where the girl sat. "It will make you ill, my love."

Sylvia grunted, lifting her nearly empty cup to her lips, both hands holding it as though she was a child. "Father drank all day, every day," she drawled, her lips mumblig against the rim. "Never saw him sick." She finished her cup, tilting her head back as she drained the last of her wine, greedily licking up the last drop. Cersei sighed.

"Your father was a drunkard most of his life. His blood was pure wine." She made to take the carafe from the table, but when her hand got close, Sylvia's hand shot out, striking her mother's fingers as though she were a child reaching for a sweetie.

"Let me 'ave my fucking drink." Sylvia grumbled, her eyes never straying from her spot on the floor. The queen's mouth tightened.

"I will not be spoken to that way, Sylvia." She proclaimed icily. "And I will not allow you to poison yourself."

Finally Sylvia's blurred but sharp blue eyes flashed to her mother. "You can't allow me to do anything." She hissed. "You and your son have done enough to me."

So this is my little sneak peak of what is to come later on in the story :D

yeah, I'm excited for this scene, even though it's a ways away :D

I have not forgotten this story, but it's...I won't lie, it's hard for me to write because I feel like I can never match the beauty of my first chapters, and I worry I'll let you guys down :(

But I won't give up on this story, cause all your reviews inspire me to go on and the love of Sylvia's story urges me forward :D
