Chapter 4: Merry go Round
A bottle of bourbon rest in front of us as we each take turns pouring ourselves a much needed drink. I would do anything to cut the tension that had settled upon us once Lucy had proclaimed that Klaus had wanted another taste. It was just the fact that she had said it in front of Damon that was making me nervous.
"I still can't quite get over what I saw, " Lucy says picking at her dessert. "You should've seen them Damon." Lucy says fanning herself. "I have never seen anything hotter, like ever." She says eyeing me. "I thought they were about to throw down right in front of me."
I could feel my face and the rest of me heat up at her words. Oh if she only knew how close we were to throwing down, going down, doing it all. Instead of saying anything I make sure to cross my legs and look unaffected.
"You were flirting with Klaus?" Damon asks, eyes wild and crazy.
Under his gaze I start to fugit. "Define flirting?"
Damon only groans. "Bonnie." He says his voice cold as steel.
"No!" I say instantly causing Lucy to give me a sideways look and Damon to look pleased.
In the end I couldn't lie about it. "Okay, maybe I was flirting with him a little bit- but it's harmless." I say causing Lucy to snort and Damon to nearly turn to stone at my words. "I probably flirt with you more than I ever flirted with him." I call causing the temperature to thaw out a bit.
Suddenly Lucy is choking all the while the words bullshit is loud and clear.
I glare while she grins.
"I am handsome." Damon says swinging his arm around my chair, thus bringing me closer. "And we look a heck of a lot better than you and him." He says making a face. "Quick question, it's the end of the world and you have to procreate to have new life, you have two choices, me and my dark hair, azure eyes and awesomeness, or–"
I know where this is heading and immediately decided to stop it. First off the end of the world scenario thing would never happen. Secondly I was the furthest from a girl who would have both Damon and Klaus vying for my attention. That was reserved for anyone but me. The only reason why it seemed like that now, was because of Klaus. As for Damon, he got super jealous whenever he ever heard about me so much as laying eyes on another guy.
Lucy coughs causing the two us to look her way. "Don't you have a girlfriend?" She says causing Damon to nearly snarl at her. I'm ready to end this thing before it begins but Lucy only arches her brow.
"It's complicated." Damon says gloomily.
At his words I look over to Lucy who seems pleased. "Let me simplify it for you, you can't keep Bonnie locked away for yourself. If she wants to do Klaus or any one else till the world stops, it's her prerogative."
Damn. I didn't expect Lucy to lay it out like that, but she was right.
He licks his teeth. "What about you Lucy?" Damon says leaning forward.
Lucy grins. "Happily single, however the plans I have for Elijah are boyfriend worthy."
I don't know who shuddered first me or Damon.
"And since Bonnie is single, I say you have as much fun as you want, and lets be honest whatever happen between you and Klaus was fun," she pauses to grin. "Because you're still blushing and he came back for more."
A small smile slips onto my lips as I realize that Lucy is right. When I look up Damon is watching me.
BB-BB-BB
After Lucy had dropped her truth bomb. Damon and I had been in a weird place. I knew he disapproved at everything Klaus related. In some ways I found it ridiculous, he banged the love of his brothers life ten seconds after the breakup. Yet the mention of me and Klaus was too scandalous for him to bare.
Right before my eyes I watched as my friends fun mood had evaporated and I didn't know who was to blame more, me or Lucy. All I know is that he bounces faster than a basketball.
"Could he be any more dramatic?" Lucy says dryly while I watch my friend go.
"Lucy this is serious, I think we hurt his feelings."
My cousin only chuckles. "Why because I brought up his complicated love life and you were on the brink of fantasying about Klaus?"
I look down at my hands. "Luce." I let out a sigh. "It's just been the two of us for a long time, longer then it actually has been the two of us and I think he gets threatened by the thought of someone coming between us, whether it's you or anyone else."
Lucy runs her hands through her hair. "I'm being honest and if you were being honest you would admit everything I said was true" She says matter of fact. "Klaus did not just pop out of nowhere for nothing, he wanted to see you."
She has a point, he wanted me to see him and he to see me. Klaus even went out of his way to let it be known what had gone on between the two of us. I don't know why Klaus was being so bold, brazen and loud if it was to ruffle my feathers he had succeeded.
"Right now, everything with Klaus is not on my radar." I say licking my lips. "What I don't like is you using me and Klaus to pick at Damon." I say honestly. "I know you could care less for him and believe me I get it, I do–" I feel my eyes get glassy at the thought. "He means a lot to me, more than you know and the last thing I want is to hurt him."
I watch as Lucy's face melts suddenly as she reaches out for my hand. "Because you're in love with him? Or is it because he's in love with you?"
At her words I feel my heart beat speed up. Were Damon and I in love with each other, I don't know. We felt something, but was it love or just friendship I wasn't sure. It could be love and friendship for all I knew. "He's off limits Luce." I say suddenly.
She holds her hands up in surrender. "Okay, I'll leave that alone." Pause. "I just want you to promise me that you'll live life, for you and nobody else."
I think about her words for only mere seconds before finally responding. "I'm not waiting around for Damon," I admit knowing that- that was what Lucy had been thinking. "We don't even know what or if we want more out of our friendship. So I'm going to for the first time in my life, go where the wind takes me." I say honestly.
Lucy claps her hands. "Even if that wind brings you back to the hybrid chambers?"
I pick up my drink and drain it. "You never know," I say nonchalantly as possible. "He does have a stroke game that has been the star of my dreams for nights."
Lucy cackles causing me to break out in a giggle of my own. We continue on for a bit more while she prods me for information. After having little to know one to discuss anything with, I say a spell silencing our words from onlookers and answer every question she could possibly have about my night with Klaus.
BB-DS-BD
When I make it back home, Damon is in full clean mode. He's managed to wax the hardwood floors which is evident by the lemon scent and the glossy nature of the wood. He's also washed the dishes, finished the laundry, and now he was rearranging the pantry.
I was smart enough to know that this meant he was in a mood. While I was tempted to just let him be, because he tended to get cranky whenever he was in a mood, for the life of me, I couldn't leave him to do all of this alone. "Do you need any help?"
"Nope." He says placing the canned goods in alphabetical order.
I hang around in the kitchen as he continues prodding around all the while keeping my eyes on him. "Are you mad at me or something?" I ask causing him to still in place. "If this is about Lucy, I already had a talk with her, she had no right to say some of the things she said to you tonight."
He swallows hard. "She doesn't like me, that's cool- but she was right about one thing."
My heart pounds at the sudden silence. "What?" I ask placing my hand on the counter.
He turns around suddenly facing me with stormy blue eyes. "You're single and beautiful- I get that men are attracted to you." Pause. "But Klaus," He says trailing off.
"Is probably bored." I remind him. "He only made an appearance because he wanted to see me squirm."
He snorts. "You'd think after that night he'd go back to doing whatever it is he does," Pause. "I mean he's probably had many, many lovers why keep coming after you?"
I scoff the nerve of him. "Maybe because I rocked his world!" It was true, I rocked him so good he was still knocked out the next morning."
Outraged I use magic and rearrange his precious pantry
Damon seems to ignore my words and continues on. "But instead he's taking a page out of the bad boy vampire for good girls playbook." He says as if he's just realizing the words he's just let slip out. "He's gonna try and lure you his way, so you're going to have to show some willpower and most importantly, do not engage with him."
I cross my arms in front of my chest. He was acting so mighty when in fact he hadn't even really sorted out his own relationship with Elena. "I didn't complain when you hooked up with brunette with long hair, a, b, c, and d." I point out.
He opens his mouth ready to tell her the very reason why he hooked up with random brunettes. Maybe just maybe they were the distraction he needed from possibly ruining the only healthy relationship he had in his entire life. If he and Bonnie had tried to form something only for it to be lit up like everything else he loved, he'd never forgive himself. Most importantly he couldn't lose her. He couldn't lose her to Lucy or to Klaus.
"Fine, you owe me though." He says suddenly meandering my way.
I scoff at his words. "For what?"
"I'm still scarred by the thought of you and him."
I roll my eyes. "Fine. Whatever."
He grins. "You and me out on the town. We'll give everyone a sight to see." He rubs his hands together all evil mastermind like and I realize this is an olive branch that I will take.

Klaus
After what had happen at the restaurant he had been in great spirits. He had stopped over to see Marcel, who was in the company of Rebekah no less. Instead of getting upset like he normally would have, he left the two alone to do whatever they needed to do. He had even spent some much needed time with his daughter, sans her mother and stepfather. And now he was back home eager for a night out. Only he couldn't go too far without his own brother following and watching his every movement.
"What is it Elijah?" He asks not bothering to look over at his brother who was no doubt trying to figure him out.
Was it so bad that he was in good spirits? He had a wonderful time with his daughter and if things went according to plan, he'd have a wonderful time with Bonnie tonight. She'd deny that she felt something, but he knew better, that spark they created whenever they were in the same room was positively addicting.
Whirling around he finally faces Elijah who's mouth open and closes much like a fish underwater.
"Out with it Elijah." He sing songs his chipper mood starting to slip, and his patience wearing thin.
The man in question walks over to the decanter to pour himself two fingers of his favorite drink.
"I don't think I've ever seen you the way you are with her, ever." Elijah says mentally thinking back to all of the women and a few men his brother had charmed. "You like her. " Elijah says after the longest pause in history.
Like was such a passive word, he was addicted to her, that was what he was, and lucky for him she was just as addicted to him.
He rubs his hand around the stubble on his chin. He's let it grow out longer than usual, on the mere fact that he wanted something different. It appeared Bonnie had wanted the same thing, different. That was probably the reason she let him have her body for nearly twelve hours. Just thinking about her made him feel tingly inside. He could spar with her all day and night and bed her all the same.
"I like the way she looks." He finally says to Elijah. "I also like the way she tastes," He licks his lips for good measure. "She's good in bed and she doesn't like you all too much." At that, Elijah frowns and he can't help but start cracking up.
Elijah walks over to this favorite chair to sit with his legs crossed a eyebrow raised. "That scene you staged at the restaurant, was it for her benefit or yours?"
He turns away from him now. How they ran into each other was pure coincidence if you counted one of his hybrids calling him up to tell him who had walked into the restaurant. He had someone trailing her the moment she had stepped foot in town because he had been weary. Now though, he just wanted to be where she was. He wanted to be under her skin. Every single time she saw him, he wanted to remind her that he knew what she looked like naked, he knew what made stars come out in her eyes and most importantly he was the one to bring her to her knees. He of course would never tell Elijah that.
"Stop being so nosey Elijah!" He says jovially. "The witches have agreed to stop trying to start shit with us and Rebekah and I are no longer sparring over the attention of Marcel."
Elijah tilts his head to the side. "That," Pause. "Is a rare occurrence, one that never happens." He deduces.
"You see." He says turning around quick to point at him. "Lighten up, come out with me tonight, I'm in the mood to be seen."
Elijah for his part has enough tact not to roll his eyes. "I could use a night out, perhaps a night off of worrying about you and your sister."
He scoffs. "Oh please, Rebekah is only my sister when she is wrecking havoc." He says fondly. "And that's most of the time."
Elijah can't even smother a grin. "Well the two of you wreck havoc on my life every day so,"
Quick as ever he heads towards the stairs. "Go shower Elijah and please resist that urge you have to wear a suit." Pause.
Elijah grins. "Afraid you'll have to fight further with Damon Salvatore over the attention of the witch?"
Just as quick he turns around to face his brother. "I won't have to lift a finger, she'll come to me all on her own." He says matter of fact. He licks his lips slowly, still tasting her even days later. "Now for her cousin," He shifts from one foot to the other. "I know it's been a long time, but I need you to put those seduction techniques Katherine and Elena fell for so easily on Lucy."
Elijah furrows his brow. "You want me to run interference?"
He nods his head. "Precisely and if you're lucky, Lucy might take you to bed." He says clapping Elijah on the shoulder. "We all know it has been an awful long time for you dear brother."
He can hear Elijah fuss and even cuss in another language and chuckles as he makes his way upstairs. Tonight, it's divide and conquer. It may have been one night for Bonnie, but he had way too much fun to just let it end like that.
BB-BB-BB
Bonnie
After everything was settled I found myself in my room trying to figure out what I was wearing for friend date night. I would much rather stay in and avoid every bit of drama I knew this night would bring, but it seemed like everyone was down to party. Damon had already called Vincent who was like his best guy friend down here, and Vincent had called Lucy who then called me asking why she wasn't invited. By the time I got off the phone, we had agreed where we would be partying tonight.
No sooner than I put down my phone it vibrated again looking down I saw it was Klaus who was actually calling me. Why, was he calling me? What kind of game was he planning and most importantly why was I so excited about it.
With a calming breath I picked up.
"Klaus, what do I owe the pleasure?"
He chuckles into the phone and I find myself doing the same.
"What are you doing?" He asks his voice rich like a cup of hot chocolate on a cold day. It had the same effect on me as chocolate.
"Thinking of you." I deadpan cracking myself up.
"What position were you thinking about us in? I ask because whenever I think of it, the possibilities are endless." Pause. "Tell me Bonnie, since you've left my bed how many nights have you lied awake wanting it to happen all over again? How many nights have you lay awake panting for me?" Klaus asks huskily.
I sit up immediately I hadn't expected this conversation to go this way at all. I should've known better, Klaus was using the same voice he used that night and it was having the same effect.
"I know I think about you, when I'm in the shower, when I'm all alone in this bed." He says his voice labored.
It's the heat of his words that almost leave me panting. Startled I could only do one thing and that was to hang up.
I thought he would call again but instead I got nothing, which unnerved me and angered me at the same time. Or maybe I was angry with myself for not speaking my mind. I had gotten really good at knowing what I wanted, saying what I wanted and doing what I wanted but– Klaus he scared the shit out of me. The way I reacted to him and his voice it scared me but what terrified me was the fact that I knew deep down I wanted him and I knew he wanted me.
Deciding I needed to do something, anything to get my mind off of Klaus and the gutter it was bound to get into I sat down and decided to do yoga. That of course only lasted for so long before Klaus popped into my head asking my favorite yoga positions.
I needed to get it together and soon. If Damon saw me like this, he'd freak and then I'd freak out further.
Once again my phone vibrated and I prayed it was someone like Caroline, Lucy, Stefan even. Heck if Elena had her phone I'd even text her and that was something I hadn't done in a very long time. Peaking at my phone I see it's from Klaus. This time he was asking me random things, things that were safe for the two of us to talk about. We went back and forth for a while where he asked me things like, my favorite food, color so on and so on, when Damon had barged into my room causing me to hide my phone under my pillow. Which ultimately had me looking guilty all over again.
Whatever he was thinking, he never said it, instead he looked at me and then my phone, which I had brought out and placed on the nearby bedside table. I expected a snarky comment, or two but Damon just acted like nothing happen and I did the same.
That was, until he decided he wanted to dress me for the night. The last time I had let him pick out my attire for the night we had been in Barcelona. He'd picked this red dress with a super high slit and we had gone dancing. That night he nearly got bit by a wolf who he said was staring at me too long for his liking.
To make a long story short, we had to fight our way out of the club.
"But why?" I ask flopping on my bed.
Damon who had been going through my closet for something that was almost as hot as him, his words not mine, stops to look over at me. "Because, I give you a few hours to spend some girl bonding time and then I hear how the brother Mikaelson have invaded your girl time and then some crap about Klaus giving you sex eyes that's why."
I lye back in my bed. "I thought we were done discussing this?"
Damon stands to his full height. "We were, till you're phone which you put on silent, flashed his name."
He was acting like such the jealous boyfriend right now. It wasn't even that serious.
"He thinks your into him." Damon says while my arm is covering my eyes. I don't know if it's the lighting in the room or the fact that we've been on this topic for hours that's giving me a headache. All I know is I want it all to stop.
"So what." I ask from my position in the bed. "Since when do you care what anyone thinks?"
The turn and swift look he gives me is so fast I nearly sit up. "I don't care what anyone thinks." Damon says now slithering my way onto the bed. "I don't care what Lucy thinks, Stefan, Caroline...or anyone else."
When we're nose to nose he smiles down at me. "I care about what you think about me though." He reaches out to touch my face. It's so soft and so us. "I care about us and our foundation." He says plopping down next to me. He reaches for my hand and holds it. "But what I care about most importantly is you, and I'm gonna be the one to protect you from Klaus and his intentions."
By the time he's finished with his declaration my heart is beating fast, my face fills hot and Damon is still leaning super close to me. When he leans down, I think oh shit he's about to kiss me, like I was not all prepared for this, and then he does something different all together, he places a kiss to my forehead, and then pulls away a small smile to his face.
For a brief moment I wonder if this is in the bad boy vampire playbook as well. It also occurs me that he's only been like this, well more so like this since he found out about my night with Klaus.
"So, we're going out tonight and full disclosure, I'm gonna be all over you and I mean like, all over you." He says sliding out the bed. "I want everyone here to know that you and I are together and then creepy Klaus is going to get the message."
I shake my head. I wanted to avoid Klaus and whatever fight he and Damon might get into all together. I didn't need anyone fighting for me, and Klaus was just trying to ruffle my feathers. I seriously doubted that he was that interested in me, we spent one night together that was it. Besides, I wasn't looking for anything serious, or anything I just wanted to live life and have fun without all the drama that seemed to follow.
"Or we could stay in and watch a movie?" I suggest, causing Damon to frown. This was my second attempt and it seemed not to deter him at all.
"Maybe when we get home, we can cuddle and watch a movie, but first we need to make a statement." When he finds the perfect outfit for me, he holds it up. "Tonight, all eyes will be on us, and to the world of New Orleans, we'll the power couple they always wanted.
Bonnie and Damon as a power couple, I must admit it sounds good, it would probably even look good. But, a tiny part of my mind can't help but wonder what Bonnie and Klaus as a power couple looks like as well.
When the doorbell rings I don't even hesitate to put some much needed space between me and bestie and his plans.
KM-EM-KE
Klaus
Freshly showered and dressed he returns to the sitting room to find Elijah has done the same. He has to admit, his brother for once listened to his advice and instead of wearing his all day every day suit– is in a pair of jeans and black shirt.
"Well look who decided to finally listen to me." He calls while walking into the room.
Elijah looks up from his phone ever so slowly a hint of a small on his lips. "I do listen to you Niklaus, it is you who refuses to hear any of my reason."
He makes a talking gesture with his hands which only causes dear old Elijah to laugh and he too joins in on the fun, it's only when Rebekah walks in do the two of them stop laughing, momentarily as she looks between the two of them.
Rebekah dressed in a leather black pencil skirt and matching top looks between the two of them, a question formed on her brows. "Surely I've walked into the wrong house, because laughter fills these halls?" She says her arms crossed in front of her chest.
He can only chuckle at her words. "Quite the contrary, Elijah and I were just sharing a laugh after he has finally ditched the suit."
The blond bombshell then looks at the man in question and approves of this sudden change. "Well, that was a much needed change. What brought this new change on?"
Elijah speaks first. "Our brother, seems to have a crush and has requested that I join him out today as his wing man." Elijah says way too happily.
Once again Rebekah swivels her head in his direction. "You like someone? You don't like anyone! What's her name." She says with barely concealed glee. "It's that bartender girl Camille right?" She asks then thinks better of it. "Please tell me you aren't going after Caroline again?"
Elijah once again hurries to speak. "Bonnie, Bonnie Bennett." Elijah says pleased as Klaus turns a hint of red. "I caught her running out of here one early morning." Elijah voices the implication of what had happen highly saturated with his words. "She was glowing and then he wanders down stairs much later, glowing as well."
He frowns. "I don't glow."
Elijah snorts which is not him at all. "You did that morning."
Once again Rebekah looks at him with wide eyes. "You and her!" She says astonished. "She is your type, however I didn't think anything would pry those magical thighs apart, much less you."
He shrugs not offering her much words. He had no doubt that Elijah would fill her in, the gossip.
"Our brother here, has not stopped grinning since she escaped." Elijah continues. "I think she put a spell on him."
Rebekah giggles. "Oh she put a spell on him." She says still eyeing him while Elijah watches on. "Only it's not the kind you're talking about." She says knowingly. Who knew the Bennett witch had it in her.
He smirks at the mere mention. It had been a wild night, even wilder morning. "Are you finished gossiping about me in front of me?" He asks amused by the fact that his brother and sister are looking at him almost scandalized.
Rebekah holds her hand up silencing him any further. "I still can't believe you and her, she tried to kill you."
He shrugs. "She didn't succeed."
"Didn't you try to kill her?" Rebekah asks, puzzled
He can only grin. "I did." He say fondly. Memories swarmed of that day, the way her blood smelled, the humming of her magic. But mostly the way she stood her ground, chin up in the air her mind set. She was in a list of few people that lived after nearly ending him.
Rebekah throws her arms up in the air heading for the drink cart. "You are aware that this could blow up in your face and ours by default." She muses, a pissed off witch is not one to play with, especially one that has the means to end them all.
He can't help but grin. "Well then, when and if it happens, you can tell me you told me so." He says looking at his watch.
"If you two are going out, I want to go to, I don't want to miss a minute of this train wreck." Rebekah says gleefully. She flounces over to Elijah to peck his cheek and soon does the same to him.
Once he and Elijah are alone they look to each other. "She is going to take forever."
He chuckles as the disdain that fills his brothers' voice. "That's quite alright," He says pulling at his phone to see that the package had arrived. "The game hasn't started quite yet."

Bonnie
When I get to the door, the pizza guy I expected to be here is in fact a package delivery guy.
"Package for Bonnie Bennett." He says all but shoving a electronic device for me to sign in my face.
"That's me, but I didn't order anything." I say bewildered.
"It's yours all the same."
Seconds later he's thrusts two boxes in my hands and runs back to the truck.
Damon soon comes into view once I close the door.
"Whose it from?" Damon asks as I sit everything down on the nearby. "Careful Bon, one time I got cursed by a jaded ex in the forms of gifts."
I shot him a look over my shoulder. I should be surprised by some of the things that came out of his mouth but for some reason everything seemed to roll out of his mouth with such honesty that even I could believe it. "What you do to her?" I ask snatching the card off of the longer box.
He scratches the side of his face. "I left her in another country, but" He says holding his hand up. "I had a good reason, she snored like a tractor and although I don't need my beauty sleep," He says a grin playing on his lips. "I do like to sleep."
I can't help but laugh at him. "You ghosts some girl in a different country and expect her not to feel a certain way about it, " I ask causing him to grin even wider.
"But I'm cute."
I roll my eyes. "If you ever left me like that I'd be your second skin."
He walks closer invading my space retro Damon style. "That could be fun," He says with an eye waggle. "I have a rule of no clothes allowed when you decide to be my second skin."
I take a chance and look over at him, "Hard pass, on that."
As predicted he only moves closer if only to see what the card reads. "You do know you break my heart at least once a day."
I look up at him and see that his eyes are soft for a second and it make me wonder if maybe he isn't playing. If I let myself I could fall into him, probably even fall in love with him. Caroline had once told me that we danced around the topic of the two of us because we were scared what it meant, and she was probably right. In fact I knew she was right. We were better left unspoken.
"Yeah, well lets call it payback for all the hearts you broken down the line." I say causing him to hip check me.
With constant urging in the background I finally open the first box which is filled with my favorite flowers. I send a look in the direction of my best friend who shake his head as to say no it was not him who sent me the flowers.
Quickly Damon grabs the card from my hand and begins to read it. He was probably more impatient than Caroline, so I should've seen it coming.
"I saw this and thought of you." He frowns hard while I snatch the card from him.
How Klaus knew that calla lilies were my favorite is beyond me.
Smiling to myself I put the flowers in a vase and return to the living room where Damon is staring down at the second box as if it's a code he's trying to crack.
"I decided to be respectful and let you open it." He says shoving the box in my hand.
I shake the box hearing rustling and decide against opening it up in front of Damon. "No thanks, I'll save this for later."
Methane blue eyes roll. "Come on Bon, we have no secrets between the two of us." He says flashing my way. "Beside, I'll figure it out sooner or later."
He has a point. Damon had a way of wearing down everyone he comes in contact with. "Fine." I relent.
When the box is finally opened a red lacy set of lingerie rest in between tissue paper. I don't think I had ever owned anything more beautiful. It was a bit flashy, a lot bit flashy but still beautiful.
I bite the inside of my cheek, this was the exact set he had sent me in text where I told him the red would match his lips. Diving further into the box I find the sapphire blue set as well and have to chuckle to myself. Who knew he had game?
I look over to Damon who is already looking at the items. "Well at least we know he isn't cheap, this is the expensive stuff." Damon say holding up the panties and looking my way. Although his voice is playful, his eyes tell another story. He's livid and I can see right through him.
I snatch it quickly from him opting to return to my room alone, but not before Damon says something that causes me to stop mid stride.
"Looks like someone has a crush on you." Damon says chuckling though it sounds hollow. "Well, I guess Stefan can rest assure that Klaus has moved on." He says a hint of bitterness coating his voice.
Instead of saying anything, I collect my things and head to my room. Once alone I let my fingers trail along the silk of the lingerie, a small smile falls to my lips. Only Klaus Mikaelson would be so daring.
BB-BB-BB
Hours later I'm putting the finishing touches to my look when my door is flung open to see the one of the most handsome men I've seen looking even better than usual.
"I'm glad you're ready because I'm beyond ready to get this night started." Damon says eyeing me up and down. His eyes have this intense look to them that were magnified by his sky blue shirt.
I turn around to face him, instead of looking at him from my mirror. "Well when you send me a text message that says move it, or lose it."
He grins. "Date night is gonna look good on us." He says reaching his hand up to help me up. When he pulls me up, it's so strong that our chest bump.
He pulls his phone out suddenly snapping a picture of the two of us. Once we look at it, I'm surprised by how good we really do look together.
On our way out, my eyes catch sight of the flowers that I've put in a vase and place in my room. They fit like they should've been here the whole time. Klaus was certainly much more than I gave him credit for.
This night could only go one of two ways and suddenly I was ready for just about anything.
