Chapter 6: Show Me
If I could sum up what Klaus and I were doing in one word, it would be insane. We were going round in circles but it always led me right back to him, to this moment. His kisses left me weak in the knees, his presence made my stomach fill with butterflies. But most of all he made me feel like a woman. Klaus didn't treat me like I was still the same Bonnie from M.F. he treated me like I was the woman standing in front of him. And that meant I needed to treat him like the man that had brought out all those sensational feelings inside of me.
But I couldn't do that, not if he was just running game, or bored or anything else. And especially not if he was also doing the same thing with or to Camille.
When Klaus pulls away ever so slowly, I'm nearly left breathless. I don't know how he does it, he makes everything around us fade away, every single time he touches me.
For the first time I wonder if I'm under some type of spell because the way I react to him, is like no other. I find myself moving forward if only to kiss him again when he pulls back ever so slightly. His eyes dart to the Mikaelson lounge and I feel like I've been doused in cold water.
I pull my dress up that felt like it was starting to slide dangerously, and toss my hair over my shoulder. "Thanks for the assist." I say businesslike. I look around at anything and anyone but Klaus for moments before rethinking it. "I'm sure we scared him off and probably anyone else for that matter."
"Good, you of all people should never slum it." Klaus says invading my space. "Not when you've had someone like me." He says huskily. His arm wraps around my waist almost possessively.
I place my hand on his chest halting any future movements. "You should go, Camille is probably waiting for you." I hitch my lips up ready to smirk at the change in his eyes. Yeah I caught that look he sent over to the lounge.
For a moment he watches me, his face serious. It's soon replaced when he tosses his head back and laughs. "I'm not interested in Camille," He says as our face gets closer. "But you already know that- don't you?" He says dragging me close to him.
His voice is like silk and I just about melted on the spot.
"You're the only one I'm interested in." He says suddenly.
Despite myself, I wrap my arms around his neck as one of my favorite slow jams roars through the speakers. "I'm not interested in playing games." I admit.
His lips curve and find that I want to take his bottom lip between my teeth. "Is that why, you came here dressed like that and dancing like," He pauses and lets out a groan when I turn around my back to his chest. His hands immediately go to my hips, where he controls how slow or fast I move. "You got my attention," He purrs against my ear. "What do you plan on doing with it?" Klaus says placing a kiss to the back of my neck.
When the song ends I turn around to face him. I knew what I wanted, to do, I knew what I wanted, tonight was just not the night for it. I was here under the guise of friend date night. I couldn't just get lost in Klaus, not matter how much I wanted to.
Or could I?
Mind made up I look up at Klaus, who is leaning close to me.
"Do you have another V.I.P area?" I ask causing his eyes to light up. "One," Suddenly I was super nervous, it was the way he kept looking at me. Pulling strength from the look of pure fascination in his eyes, I straighten up. "One that is more, private?"
He smiles a slow smile. "This way love."

Elijah
He had watched intrigued by the sheer force that was Lucy Bennett. She had literally not been with his family long and already she and Marcel were trading barbs as if they were old friends. Rebekah had thawed out slightly though he knew his sister was just anxious, Klaus was already acting peculiar for the attention of Bonnie. He knew she was worried for him but not as much, only because he knew how to control things, how to lock away things in his mind, to get over it, Klaus though was rather emotional and far too impulsive.
"She is quite pretty." Rebekah says sitting next to him. "But then again all Bennett women are." His sister calls looking back at Marcel and Lucy who were playing cards.
He swallows hard. "I don't know how to do this." He says suddenly.
Rebekah shrugs her shoulders. "None of us do." Pause. "You could just do what your body wants, I mean that's what Klaus is doing and look at him." She says motioning with her head in the direction of Klaus and Bonnie who were all over each other. "Or you could be yourself, any girl would be lucky to have your attention."
He watches as his sister walks back over to Marcel and Lucy.
They made it look easy. He hadn't been on a date, much less entertained in a very long time, tonight though- he'd like to change that. Starting with Lucy.
He was going to walk over to her but Lucy had beat him to it.
"Whatcha thinking about?" She asks looking over at him.
He takes his time looking at her before speaking. "Showing you the roof."

Damon
"This has to be the longest line in history." He calls over his shoulder. "How in the world did we get suckered into getting drinks?" He asks looking over at Vincent.
The man in question chuckles. "Well that's easy, the power of pretty face, smile and those dazzling eyes of the Bennett women." Vincent says looking back at the line to see it had grown even longer. He pats his friend on the shoulder. "Cheer up, we could be at the back like all those people."
Peering behind him he narrows his eyes. This was definitely better than being at the end. "Yeah, still these drinks better be the best I've ever had." He grounds out. "I've missed so many songs with Bon, Bon."
Vincent only chuckles. "You act like you'll never see her again."
He shrugs. "True, I just like being around her." He admits.
The warlock nods his head. "So what's the deal between the two of you- you a couple, ever been a couple, thought about being a couple?"
He can feel his face getting hot at the mere mention of he and Bonnie like that. Sure he had thought about it, many times. When they were trapped on the other side he had this reoccurring fantasy that one day they would be fighting about one thing and the next he'd have on the rug in front of the fireplace. Of course once they made it back home he still noticed how beautiful his best friend was. People were naturally drawn to her which only made him hold on to her tighter, because well he wanted her for himself.
If he could get his shit together and more importantly he and Elena could end things properly, he could see him and Bonnie for the long haul. That of course would happen in the distant future.
"I love her." He says simply put. "I hate seeing her with other guys, it drives me crazy but what drives me crazy the most is that I know that when she and I do get together," pause. He smiles. "I gotta have my shit together, because she deserves it and right now I'm not in the right place."
Vincent looks over at him strangely. "That's very mature of you, which is a far cry to what I heard went down earlier today."
He sends a look. "Let me guess Lucy and her loose lips?"
Vincent only returns the look. "You've got your best friend and I've got mine."
He only nods. He wonders briefly if Vincent and Lucy ever hooked up? He'd have to ask another time. "I changed my tune because," He scratched the back of his head, a smirk forming on his lips at the memory. "Bonnie kind of whipped me into shape...at least for the night." He grins. "I might need to reminded in the morning." He jokes.
"Man what are you going to do in the meantime?"
"I'm going to intercept like I play football for a living."

Bonnie and Klaus
When Klaus leads us to a room I'm surprised by the fact that it seemed to be hidden in the walls.
He leads us, his hand in mine as we walk through to a spacious looking office. It's dark and moody with dark blue painted walls with hints of grey that make the room appear lighter. The furniture is dark, a black sofa sits in the corner while a big mahogany desk is stationed in the middle. In another corner rest a bar that is silver plated the initials N.M. are bold and noticeable, just like the man himself.
Speaking of, the man– I watch as he walks over to the bar to fix us something to drink. He beckons me without a word and soon I'm standing before him.
"Tonight we drink tequila." He says his voice sounding so warm that it causes me to look up at him.
After he finishes preparing everything, the drink, lime and salt we share a look.
"Ladies first." He says reaching for the salt and pouring it in his hand.
I eye the drink for only mere seconds before I proceed to lick the salt off his hand, swallow the tequila and bite the lime. The whole time I'm watching him watch me. Klaus soon follows close behind me. His tongue comes out to lick the remains of lime juice that lingers and my eyes zero in on his mouth.
That mouth, was probably why I was out here twisted in knots. Well, I guess that mouth and other things. I had never thought it was possible to be this effected by anyone. Especially the way I was effected by him. When my friends had lost their shit over guys, I was cool. But looking back, knowing who I was with, when I was with them, that was the problem. With Jeremy we never had any kind of passion, we just fell into things and it was sweet and what I wanted at the time but it was never heart racing like this. With Enzo it was the same thing, though we had our moments, nothing could compare to this.
I don't know if it were the power I had over him, or the power he had over me that was so exhilarating, or maybe it was the power we had together that stuck out the most.
As if he knows what I'm thinking he grins. "Come sit with me." He purrs and soon guides the way to the desk. He leans in real close our chest touching as he picks me up by my hips. My body is pressed against his as he deposits me onto the desk behind me.
For a moment he lingers, I watch as his Adams' apple bobs, and it's then and only then that I realize that I have the same effect on him as he has on me.
In this moment we are one.
After a few more moments of lingering close he sits in the swivel chair, eyeing me with dark eyes.
"Let me guess you own the place?" I ask as I cross my legs. I watch as his eyes travel up my leg and smirk to myself.
"I own half of it," He says scooting the swivel chair closer. "Marcel owns the other half." His fingers dance up my thigh. I stop his fingers from moving further causing his dimples to show as he slowly pull his hands away.
I nod. It makes since. Though he has more money than anyone could count, it would make since to want to do something, aside from terrorizing people for kicks. "You like it?"
He pauses for a moment. Nobody had ever asked him if he was enjoying what he was doing, running a club with Marcel, it was fun. But more importantly it was a way for father and son to get together everyday and spend time together. "I love it." He answers honestly. "Plus it keep him close."
I can't help but chuckle. "You do seem like the type to hold on for dear life."
He can't even hide a grin. "I remember when you were holding onto me for dear life." He whispers. Your hands were on my shoulders, my hands were on your waist as we chased the wave together."
I tilt my head to the side. "Your point?"
"You like me, or at least want to shag me again," He licks plump red lips and my eyes follow. "Let me let you in on a little secret, I may like you as well, or I just might want to shag you."
When I send him a glare he only chuckles again.
"Klaus." I call wearyingly as his eyes keep looking at my legs.
He observes me for a few seconds. "Fine, we'll go your pace." He says sliding closer. "Tell me, what do you love to do?"
I bite my lip. "I haven't quite decided what I love to do most, but I do know that I'll figure it out soon." I say beaming at him. "For now, I love to teach, to teach dance or to teach magic they both are something that I enjoy doing, if only in small doses."
Klaus looks pleased. "I could see you doing both."
I look up, my cheeks flushing. "Thanks." I say sliding off of the desk.
Klaus makes a move to grab me, his hand catching mine, bringing me flush against him in the chair. "Where are you going?" He asks looking confused. "I thought, I thought we were getting somewhere?"
I look down at him, our face so close. "You said I had your attention, I want to show you what I plan to do with it."
He lets me go seconds later.
I walk over to the lights and dim them. "I have you all alone." I say turning around to face him.
"What do you plan on doing with me?" He asks huskily.
I walk over to him and push the chair away from the desk. "I never did properly thank you for your gift." Grin. "What I said earlier was to get a rise out of you." I admit licking my lips as my eyes dart low.
"It worked, it's still working you should see for yourself." He makes a move but finds he can't move at all. "Get a hands on experience." He says through his teeth.
I cork an eyebrow up at him. "Or I could do something better." I voice as my dress falls to the floor leaving me in the red number he had bought me. "How does it look?" I ask standing in front of him.
He licks his teeth. "So good," He says his voice laced with want. "You're so fucking beautiful." He swears.
It strange because when I hear him, when I hear the want in his voice I feel it vibrating inside of me as well.
"Come here." He calls huskily.
I bite my lip. "But, I'm not finished thanking you." I say innocently.
He restrains against the chair. "I have a better way of thanking me, one that is beneficial for both of us." He pants.
I wink in his direction. "I like my idea much better, won't you let me show you."
My fingers find my phone and soon one of my favorite songs starts to play. I let the music sooth me into a sensual dance that was for Klaus and Klaus only. He seemed so into it while he was watching me from high above, I figured I'd do it for him up close and personal.
I channel my inner Queen B.
And then I'm dancing for him, all around him and on him.
I wound my body around to the beat and make sure to dip it low. When our eyes meet his are now showing pure hybrid. It's then that I lose my concentration on magic as it slips from me.
He breaks through my spell that had left him paralyzed and soon he's in my face. "You Bonnie Bennett, are the most beautiful, brave woman I've ever met and I want you in every way possible while you're here." He says cupping my face.
I couldn't deny it, we wanted the same things and for once, I wouldn't fight it. "Okay." I breathed against his lips.
"Ok" I say as he bridges the gap between us. "But, I have a few conditions." I say causing him to tilt his head back and look up at the ceiling.
"Why am I not surprised." he says looking my dead in the eyes. "Lay it on me?'
"We keep it light and easy," he mulls over my words. "And honest."
I can see the wheels practically turning but still he says nothing. No instead he brings me closer.
"I thought for sure you would say something about biting." He says bending down to let his vampire teeth scrape my neck. "Or about the two of us in public, as well as hickeys? But you've surprised me, you really just want this to be light and easy, no restrictions?" He asks peering down at me.
I take my time answering him as I try to find the best words to formulate. "Yeah." I admit in a rare moment when I'm just honest with myself and him. "I've spent my whole life," pause. "Most of my life dealing with the heavy, dealing with other peoples burdens on top of my own." I look up at him and wrap my arms around his neck. "This, I'm doing for me."

He understands what she's saying. Everything he has done for most if not all his life had been for self preservation. Every person he battled, every move he made it was for the greater good of himself and his family. Of course he had indulged a few times with people, a wolf girl with beautiful dark skin that he enjoyed very much before Mikael had killed her. He then had Stefan who helped feed his darker side. Caroline had come next with others sprinkled before her, but she had come when he wanted to be seen as anything than the monster everyone thought he was. His trusted friend Camille followed close by, she was the one that was fostering much of his humanity. She was also one of the only people who knew him almost as well as his family and yet, she stayed around.
That of course brought him to the present with Bonnie Bennett standing in front of him, marvelous emerald eyes looking at him. She had known the worst parts of him, and yet she had let him inside.
"I accept your conditions." He says finally. "But what happens when you inevitably fall in love with me."
The look she gives him is so perplexed that he has to grin back him. She looks like one of those cartoons where the second lead is outsmarted by the lead character.
She pats his chest. "I think I'll take my chances, love is the furthest thing on my mind."
He smiles slowly. "Then I guess we have something else in common, because I too want nothing to do with love."
She tilts her head to the side her long hair falling to the side. She really is beautiful, of course he noticed it before but close up, smelling like him, she looks even better. He has so many things he wants to do with her, to her it makes his mouth salivate.
"Perfect, then its settled." she purrs her eyes telling him all he needs to know. "We start tomorrow."
She bridges the gap between them before sealing the arrangement with a much needed kiss.

Elijah
They headed up the stairs in silence. He held a bottle of champagne in one hand while she held onto two glasses in the other.
When he had suggested they go up to the roof, it had been a spur of the moment thing, but once he started thinking about it, this was a good idea. He wasn't like Klaus. No Klaus had seemed to be harboring a crush on Bonnie for a very long time. If he had to guess it was probably just a tiny spark that his younger brother had felt for the witch when she tried to kill him.
Or maybe Klaus had been attracted to Bonnie because she was loyal to a fault. It was obvious that whatever had once attracted his brother to the witch, it had only magnified as time went on. Niklaus was bewitched by the witch. Though his words had been of lust and physical appearances he saw the way Klaus had looked at Bonnie the moment he saw her, and he knew that meant trouble for them all.
Of course that meant he was going to savor the small amount of time before the crazy claimed them all. And that meant, enjoying some one on one time with a beautiful woman.
Pushing open the door, he allows for Lucy to walk through. Like Bonnie, she was beautiful but wasn't that the case for all Bennett women. They were fierce, loyal and always up to keep you on your toes.
"So," Lucy purrs walking through the door. "What's your deal?" She asks looking over at him. "You've been looking at me all night like I'm a bloody steak yet you're a vegetarian?"
He smothers a smile and looks down. "I was observing you."
The smile that lingers on her lips makes him want to smile. "Do you like what you see?" She asks turning around for him to get a good view.
This time he does smile. "Very much."
"Well then." She says standing before him. "Take your clothes off so I can make sure I like what I see?" She asks brazen as a wild woman.
He nods and places the bottle of champagne down. He makes a move to undo his belt when she stops him.
"Wait a minute?" She says halting his movement. "You're suppose to be the debonair brother, yet your about to drop it like that?" She has this adorable look of shock on her face.
He furrows his brows. "Isn't that what you want?"
Lucy looks to the side noticing for the first time, how a blanket is set up along with fresh fruit. "This isn't you," She says suddenly. "You're the kind of guy who has someone to set up and blanket with an assortment of fruits and cheeses." Smile. "You also have a telescope out."
He shrugs sheepishly. "I know a few people."
Once again she eyes him up and down. "I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but keep your pants on, and the rest of your clothes for that matter."
Elijah opens his mouth shocked, was she turning him down, had he read her wrong. "Did I do something wrong?"
She shakes her head. "No, you did everything right." She chuckles to herself. If she hadn't seen the telescope set up she would have thought he was just trying to bang it out, which would be fine because she was so down. But knowing that he maybe wanted to get to know her, and maybe she wanted to get to know him.
He walks over to her still confused. "You said you liked roofs."
"I do, but I also like the stars, and it would be a pleasure to drink this bottle of champagne with you and then listen to you talk about the stars with that sexy ass accent of yours."
He grins. "Well then, it would be a pleasure."
BB-BB-BB
Klaus and I hadn't done more than kiss while we were alone together, but it was enough. We talked about a lot of things I never thought we'd talk about. Our conversation had run deep especially for two people with our sorted past. We even talked about how positive things had been going between the witches and vampires. Lifting the ban on magic had been a good thing and although old wounds didn't heal overnight, it did break some of the tension.
When it was time to go, he helped me off the table I had been sitting on. My dress that had been discarded during my strip tease was back on, as Klaus had helped me put it back on, by zipping up the back. His fingers lingered on my back causing stuttered breathes to leave me.
The moment we stepped out of the secret passageway he put his arm around me, bringing me closer he placed a kiss to the side of my head. "I hope you realize that I'm about to ruin you for any other man." Grin. "They won't have a chance."
My tongue licks the side of my mouth. "You can try." I say smiling. "But I'm pretty sure no other woman would ever compare to me."
We share a chuckle and round the corner running straight into Damon and Vincent. At first I think that they may not have realized what was going on, but then Damon sends me a scathing look.
tick, tick, tick go the seconds.
I waited on baited breath for the eruption to start, waited for the bullshit to begin but nothing happen. Instead the four of us stood in front of one another unable to form words, or at least that was what it was for me and Damon. Vincent looked like he had a whole lot to say and I couldn't even look at Klaus.
"Um, hey" Vincent says holding onto two drinks as he looks between me and Damon, but settles on Klaus. "Long time no see Klaus."
Klaus chuckles softly. "Well, I've been busy."
Damon snorts all the while mumbling I bet you have. The implication was clear as the night sky outside.
I can only glare at my friend. "Seriously?" I did not need the whole supernatural world of New Orleans to know my business. Damon knew how private I was about stuff like that so to make a comment that might read the way it sounded was not cool at all.
"So," Damon says crossing his arms over his chest. He barley spares me a look before speaking to Klaus. "I thought you got over that whole stalking thing when my brother rejected you?"
I look to see Klaus grin a slow grin. He keep his arm around my shoulder. "You mean the brother you're still in the shadow of?" He chuckles.
Damon clinches his teeth. "I'm not in anyone's shadow." Damon snarls. "I can have anyone I want." Pause. "In fact, I won, I beat Stefan, I got his girl."
I rolled my eyes. I hoped my disapproving face was on full view. The fact that Damon was even boosting about winning Elena which was not a prize was disgusting. The relationship the two of them had was a mess and he was well aware of it, so to stand here and gloat about it, and the destruction it caused made me frown.
Klaus looked on unimpressed. "Good for you mate. As for me I've moved on to better things." He licks his lips. "You should try it, but then again you'd never get the chance." Klaus taunts.
I got the distinct feeling that suddenly they were talking about me. I looked at Klaus and nudged him causing him to chuckle and for Damon to only narrow his eyes my way.
It's then that I see the very moment when my best friend snaps. He turns angry accusing eyes my way, his face reminds me of the night he bit me all those years ago. "Again Bonnie! You were with him again? One time thing my ass."
I can feel eyes on us as his voice gets loud and quickly shush him. "Get it together, we talked about this." I remind him in a harsh whisper. I had clearly told him I did not want to fight my way out of a club and most importantly I didn't want any drama. He promised he would chill out and yet here we were.
"Really Bonnie, this was suppose to be friend date night and you are out here acting like a–"
His words dangled in the air although I knew what he was going to say, was I whore or slut? We would soon find out. "Say it?" I say through clenched teeth. "Go ahead, your dying to and for what reason I don't know? I haven't done anything wrong."
Damon shakes his head and backs away causing me to frown. "You know what, I'm not going to finish that sentence because I might say something I won't regret." He says turning on his heel.
"Where are you going?" I say following him, with Klaus close behind.
"Away from you, obviously I'm taking a page out of your book." Damon throws over his shoulder.
And with that he disappeared. I let out a loud sigh and put my hand over my face before composing myself.
When I look up poor Vincent has just finished both the drinks he once held in his hand.
"Imma, let you guys be." He says before going into throng of the dance floor.
I can feel Klaus watching me and turn around to face him. "You shouldn't let him upset you." He says pushing my hair out of my face. "He's a man child."
I suck my lips together. "He's also my best friend." I say suddenly tired. I didn't want to fight with anyone, not anymore...I was over it.
"Bonnie." Klaus breathes against me. He's getting close again and my head is getting hazy with the smell of him.
I let out a shaky breath. "We're still on for tomorrow," I say putting my hand on his chest to give me some room. "But tonight, I'm going to finish friend date night like I promised."
Now all I had to do was find my friend.
BB-BB-BB
I made my way through the rush of people trying to find where Damon had went. He wasn't in the club that much I knew. I couldn't feel his essence which meant he probably went outside.
"Hey, aren't you the witch that came here with a vampire?" A guy says as I'm walking past the bar.
I stop and look over at him. He seems familiar, it's his eyes that seem so familiar. But his face I've never seen.
"Yeah and?" I say scanning the club for Lucy. I wanted to tell her what was up but figured I could just call her.
"And I saw you with the hybrid." The guy continues. "Guess you got a type."
I chuckle to myself. "Well then, I guess you can tell I'm not interested then."
I pushed through the crowd and finally made my way to the back door. Once outside the fresh air was welcoming. Damon, however was not here.
Pulling out my phone I dialed Damon only to get sent to voice mail. "I know your mad at me for ruining friend night, and to be honest I'm mad at you for the way you acted," I let out a sigh. "But, your still my friend so, I hope you make it home fine. Don't do anything reckless."
Soon as I disconnect, I get an eerie feeling as if someone is watching me. I turn around only to feel something hit me hard, and then everything is black.
