Kim checked to see if she could unlock the phone, and sure enough, she did. "Oh, my gosh! It is! Thank you ever so much for finding it for me."
"Not a problem," replied Candace and returned to Jeremy's to see her new score. She looked at the scoreboard, and under her name were 34 points. "If I don't win this game, I hope Jeremy wins."
Peanut Otter was getting caught up in the excitement. "Can Jelly and I play afterwards?"
"Sure, you can," said Jeremy.
"And can Pinch and I join in on it, too?" asked Darkwing.
"I don't see why not," Jeremy answered with his signature smile.
Pinch was a little apprehensive. "Do you think there will be any ballet in it when I enter?"
"There's no telling what will happen," answered Don Karnage. "But for me and Megavolt, it's been the adventure of our lives. Jeremy, I believe it's your turn now."
"With pleasure," replied Jeremy and rolled the dice. It landed on three. His piece moved ahead three spaces. There was a message on the board for him. And he read it out loud. "Major Monogram is confined to your dunk tank. Dunk him repeatedly within ten minutes for a score." Sure enough, a dunk tank did appear with Major Monogram on the seat. His hands were tied behind his back. There was a target for Jeremy to hit. And right there, was a pile of tennis balls for him to utilize.
The clock was counting down. And Jeremy threw the first tennis ball. But it was a swing and a miss. He threw the second ball harder. And it was a direct hit, dunking Monogram directly in the deep water. "Ewww! This water is so nasty!" he cried.
It turned out the water had human hair in it. But Monogram was quickly hoisted up again. And Jeremy was still encouraged. He threw a third ball at the target, and it was another direct hit. "Yes! Oh, yes! I got you good!" Monogram was automatically hoisted up again. And Jeremy was having a blast, dunking him again and again and again. Eventually, time was up. Jeremy had a good look at the scoreboard. And under his name were 48 points. "Your turn, Mr. Karnage."
Don Karnage rolled the dice. It landed on six. His piece moved ahead five spaces, the rest of the end. There was a message on the board for him. And he read it out loud. "Kart racers exceeding the speed limit. Drop them in the lake. That sounds like a hefty, fun challenge." So he went out front to grab his helicopter, and sure enough, there was a new crane attachment on the end of the winch – an electromagnet. He checked the cockpit for the switch to toggle the magnet, and there it was on the cyclic. He fired up his chopper, took off, and saw the first target, on his GPS, only a few blocks away. So he turned the chopper in that very direction and saw something that shocked him. The game hadn't been kidding him. The kart racer was Honker Muddlefoot, going what looked like 85 miles an hour in a 35 zone. Don Karnage gave chase, turned on the magnet, and it lifted the kart right off the road with Honker still strapped in. Karnage had flown in that area more than once before, so he knew where the nearest lake was. He flew straight there, slowed down directly above, and turned off the electromagnet. "Bye bye, Honker!" he exclaimed out loud before Honker made the big splash in the lake. Following that, Karnage saw more targets on his GPS. So he chased down the nearest one, who turned out to be Buford. Buford was going what looked like 85 miles an hour in a 45 zone, so Karnage got right on his tail but was careful with the magnet not to grab the wrong motorist. Buford used the oncoming lane to avoid motorists, who were stopped at a red light. And that gave Don Karnage his big chance. He turned the magnet right on, grabbed Buford's go kart with Buford still strapped inside, and airlifted him straight to the lake, where he had dropped Honker. As soon as Buford was descending, Karnage went on to his next target, who turned out to be Gosalyn Mallard, traveling through downtown Danville at what looked like 65 miles an hour. Don Karnage knew he had to act fast before she crashed, so he quickly gave chase, locked on target, and turned on the magnet. Once again, it picked up the go kart, driver and all. And Karnage airlifted Gosalyn straight to the lake. Once he was hovering directly above the lake, he shut off the magnet and waved goodbye. "Bye bye, Gosalyn." From there, he went on to drop target after target in the lake until time was up. Then, he returned to Jeremy's to see his score. He had a good look, and under his name were a hefty finishing total of 64 points. "Yes! Oh, yes! I'm in it! Megavolt, your turn.
Megavolt rolled the dice. It landed on five. His piece moved to the last space on the board. There was a message on the board for him. And he read it out loud. "Shooting star. Make a wish as it passes." So he looked up in the sky to see if the wishing star was coming again, and sure enough, it did. So as soon as it was well in proximity, he whispered his wish to it and waited for it to disappear.
Once it was out of sight, Don Karnage addressed him for a moment. "Megavolt, did you make your wish?"
"I sure did," answered Megavolt with a smile.
"I don't see anything different happening around here," Candace pointed out.
"Yeah, Megavolt," added Don Karnage. "What did you wish for this time?"
"It's a surprise," Megavolt answered with a smile. "Even though it's Jeremy's birthday, this surprise is for you, Pinch Raccoon, PB&J Otter, and even Darkwing Duck."
"Thank goodness you didn't use your wish make me disappear," remarked Darkwing.
"I had a far better thing to do than that," said Megavolt with a smile. "so just you wait. Candace, it's your turn now."
"With pleasure," remarked Candace and rolled the dice. It landed on six. Her piece moved to the last space on the board. There was a message on the board for her. And she read it out loud. "Last chance to score. Tickle Jeremy for ten minutes."
"Why does this game want me tickled on my birthday?" Questioned Jeremy.
"It doesn't," answered Candace. "I surrender." But she saw a flashing light in the corner of her eye. There was another message on the board. And she read it out loud. "Game concluded. The winner is Don Karnage. Send him out front to claim his prize."
