"Yes! Oh, yes! Oh, yes!" cried Don Karnage. "I win! I win! I win!" So he went out front to see just what his prize was. And it was a toy hauler trailer. Or so he thought. He went inside to see if the contents were of any interest. And it turned out to be a $1,700,000 gift card. He quickly locked it tightly in his Chinook Helicopter and went out back again to check on Megavolt. "I just hope you're not too jealous."
"Me?" asked Megavolt. "Jealous? No way! You're my best friend in the whole, wide world?"
"And you mean every bit of the same to me," replied Don Karnage with a smile. And the two besties hugged it out for at least a minute.
"You should really spend some on a high dollar birthday present for Jeremy," urged Candace.
"I do have lifetime access to this game," Jeremy reminded his girlfriend. "I can always play again."
"Would you play it with me and Peanut?" asked Jelly Otter.
Jeremy had no intention of turning back. "Never let it be said that I'm not a man of my word. I'll play it with the two of you first thing tomorrow."
"And I'm not done, yet," added Megavolt. "Don Karnage, Pinch, Darkwing, PB&J Otter, I still have a special surprise for the six of you."
"Honest?" asked Pinch.
"You mean it?" asked Peanut.
"Yes. Indeed, I do," said Megavolt with a smile. "But the six of you have to put on these blindfolds before I lead you there." And he handed them out to all six recipients.
Don Karnage put one on and joined hands with Pinsh. Pinch put one on and joined hands with Peanut Otter. And PB&J Otter put them on and joined hands together. "You didn't use your wish to make me disappear," Darkwing Duck admitted to Megavolt. "so I'm sure I can trust you with this." And he put on his blindfold and joined hands with Jelly Otter.
"Alrighty then," said Megavolt, so he gently took Don Karnage by the hand, leading him and the other five recipients along the way.
Don Karnage was really looking forward to this surprise, because Megavolt had done just such a thing for him before. Peanut, Jelly, and Pinch were in most ways looking forward to the surprise but felt kind of bad that they were leaving the birthday boy out of it, particularly after he had rescued them. And Darkwing Duck was getting just a little nervous about what Megavolt had in store after receiving some electric shocks from him. "I just hope this isn't another trap."
"You'll find out what it really is," replied Megavolt. "but don't worry. I can assure you I didn't double cross Don Karnage the last time I did this with him." And Megavolt continued leading the recipients onto what they could tell by their own footsteps was a hardwood floor. Then, up a staircase. Then, across the sound of another hardwood floor. And finally, he lined them up side by side and addressed them from in front. "Okay, everyone, how are we feeling?"
"Totally excited," Don Karnage answered with a smile.
"Somewhat nervous," answered Darkwing.
"A little tingly," answered Peanut.
"Really looking forward to this," answered Pinch.
"Now, then," Megavolt continued. "When I count to three, I want all of you to remove your blindfolds. One… two… three!"
All six recipients removed their blindfolds simultaneously and were in for the surprise of their lives. "Flick Duck!" the all exclaimed.
"The one and only," said Flick. "Back from the dead and with you until the end."
From there, it was a huge group hug of seven, and kisses from Pinch and Jelly. "We never thought we'd see you again!" exclaimed Pinch.
"I didn't thing I'd see you again for at least 80 years," replied Flick with a smile. "and coming home again feels better than ever!"
The following morning, Jeremy woke up at precisely 9:30 and sped through his summer vacation morning routine. Then, he grabbed his Thrill Factory Game, drove straight to Phineas & Ferb's place, and put the boys right up to the previous afternoon's challenge. Phineas, Ferb, how would you like to play my new game with me?"
"We'll gladly do it," answered Phineas.
"Excellent idea," agreed Ferb.
Jeremy set up the game board, rolled a four, and his piece moved ahead four spaces.
