So this is for Sparky She-Demon who asked for something between Martouf, Jack, and Jacob. Hope you like it.

There was a hurried knock on Jacob's door. He got up from where he had been lying on his bed in the VIP room reading and crossed to the door.

"Daniel," he greet as he opened it to reveal the out of breath man, "You ok?"

"Um no not really," Daniel replied, "I need to find Sam."

"She only had a half day today," Jacob replied, "So she's probably at home."

"Crap," Daniel muttered.

"What's the matter Daniel?" Jacob asked, sensing the other man was really worried about something.

"Jack and Martouf," Daniel said in a rush, "They're in the gym and…"

Jacob cut him off as he shut the door and started off towards the gym. If Jack and Martouf were in the gym then chances were they were fighting. Jacob sped up until he was running down the corridors, the corridors which were surprisingly empty.

Coming to a stop outside the gym Jacob saw why the corridors were so empty, a large number of personnel were standing in the gym watching something in the middle of the room.

Jacob barged his way through the crowd until he was on the edge of the circle that had been created around Martouf and Jack, who were indeed fighting.

Jacob stood in shock for a moment as he watched the two of them exchange a few blows before they started grappling. Jacob snapped out of it as Martouf landed on the floor with a bang, Jack having just thrown him there.

He looked around and his eyes landed on Teal'c. He made his way round to where the Jaffa was standing and got his attention with a tap on the shoulder.

"I need you help to break this up before someone gets hurt," Jacob said as Martouf swept Jack's legs out from under him.

Teal'c nodded once and the two of them moved out into the open space.

"That's enough you two," he said loudly.

Jack and Martouf ignored him as Jack crawled over to Martouf and straddled him before he started the punch him in the head. Martouf brought his arms up and to shield himself.

"Teal'c get him up," Jacob said.

Teal'c moved forward and grabbed Jack and pulled him away from Martouf. Jack tried to fight him but soon gave up.

Jacob then turned to the crowd. "I'm sure all of you have work to be getting on with," he said loudly. They all took his words for what they were, a dismissal, and all began to file out of the room.

Martouf was still lying on the floor so as the room emptied Jacob walked over to him. He offered Martouf his hand and then pulled the other Tok'ra to his feet.

"Anything serious?" Sel'mac asked, taking over.

"No," Lantash replied.

"Good," Jacob said, "Go and sit down and sort yourself out. I'm going to go and talk to Jack about what the hell the two of you were thinking."

Martouf nodded and moved away to sit on one of the benches by the wall. Jacob walked over to where Teal'c had sat Jack down, thankfully on the other side of the room to where Martouf was now sitting.

"What the hell was that?" Jacob demanded.

"We were sparring and I guess it got a little out of hand," Jack replied.

"A little?" Jacob exclaimed, "Sparring is one thing Jack but you and Martouf were brawling like you'd both had one to many at the pub." He glanced over at Martouf. "Come with me," he instructed before leading Jack and Teal'c over to Martouf.

"This is not the sort of behaviour a representative of the Tok'ra and the second in command of the SGC should be exhibiting, especially in front of members of the SGC," he dictated, "I don't care what caused this, whether it was a sparring match gone to far, or something more, but this is me putting my foot down. I don't want to hear about anything like this happening again. Understand?"

Jack and Martouf both nodded, both looking ashamed. "Right the pair of you go and get cleaned up," Jacob ordered, "After you've shaken hands that is."

Jack rolled his eyes but the two of them offered up their hands and they shook. "Right," Jacob said, "Now that's sorted I can get back to my book."

The four of them then headed for the door just as they heard two pairs of feet running down the corridor. Sam and Daniel came to a stop, both out of breath, and Sam in civilian clothing.

Jacob happened to be looking at Martouf and Jack as Sam had come into view and he saw looks of shame cross both their faces. Suddenly Jacob wasn't so sure that it was a sparring match gone too far, at least not totally.
