Hello Ultraman fans! I'm here with an Ultraman Geed story but it's focused on our favourite duo: Riku Asakura and Laiha Toba becoming more than just friends. There will be another Ultraman joining in, hope you like this traveller's appearance.
This is based after the Ultraman R/B movie. Riku and Laiha are both 20 years old. Hope you enjoy.
Hoshiyama City:
Instead of a peaceful day, a Kaiju was attacking or trying to as it was fighting an Ultraman: Ultraman Geed in his Primitive form. The Kaiju, EX Red King, started hitting back hard and the last punch sent Geed flying and crashing on top of several buildings.
"This one hits hard. Time to hit back harder!" Geed shouted, he got up and ran towards the Kaiju as his body started glowing red, blue and white
"Ultraman Geed: Magnificent!" Geed's form changed as he punched EX Red King in the face, he then pulled back his right arm as his fist started to glow green. Geed punched the Kaiju into the sky at full power. Geed then punched his fists together then slowly pulled them apart, causing green energy to spark then he positioned his arms into an L shape.
"Big Bustaway!" Geed shouted then fired a green beam covered in rainbow energy streams, the beam hit EX Red King and blew it up. Geed looked up at the sky then heard cheers, the Ultraman turned and looked behind him to see people cheering and shouting his name. Geed nodded at them then jumped into the sky, flying away from the scene.
Underground base:
In the base, Pega was tidying up alone while Rem was running checks on her systems. The elevator appeared then opened, Riku stepped out with a smile then sat down on his bed. Pega placed down a pile of books on the table then looked at his friend, Pega could tell that something was bothering him.
"Riku, is everything okay?" Pega asked as he walked over and sat next to Riku, who was looking at the Ultra Capsules he had, including the Evolution Capsule. "You look like somethings bothering you." Pega spoke up and Riku nodded.
"It's nothing. I'm gonna head out to meet up with Leito." Riku told his friend, he grabbed all his Capsules then headed up via the elevator. "Maybe Leito can help me." Riku spoke to himself in a whisper as the elevator went up to the surface. Meanwhile, Pega had just finished tidying up when Laiha walked from the direction of the shower.
"Pega, did I hear Riku just a moment ago?" Laiha asked as she looked around the room, Pega nodded then sat down on a stool.
"He was just here then left, he went to see Leito." Pega told her and Laiha nodded, she walked over to the table and picked up her water bottle. "Riku did look like he was bothered by something." Laiha and Pega started thinking about what could be bothering Riku.
Park:
Riku was sitting in the park looking at the Ultraman Belial Capsule, he was thinking about how much things had changed: he went from being a young man with superhuman jumping power to an Ultraman, fighting to protect people from any evil aliens.
"How are you doing, Riku?" Riku looked up to see someone that he didn't expect to see: it was Gai Kurenai aka Ultraman Orb. Gai walked over and sat next to Riku, he placed his jacket behind him on the table and noticed Riku holding the Belial Capsule.
"Just thinking," Riku answered and Gai nodded. The pair looked forward, Gai then handed Riku a bottle of water. "I thought you went back travelling, Gai." Riku spoke as he put the Belial Capsule back in the holder.
"I decided to stick around for a bit," Gai answered as he opened his bottle of water, Riku nodded then opened his bottle. "I saw the fight between you and EX Red King. You're really good, Riku." Gai complimented and Riku smiled, the pair then tapped the water bottles together then both drank.
"I just wish I was more confident with other things." Riku mumbled as he looked down at the ground, Gai looked at Riku but then the ground started shaking. The pair stood up then ran towards the source of the noise. Riku grabbed the Loading Knuckle to see if Rem knew what was causing the noise.
"Riku, the robot lifeform is near your location. The name of it: Darklops Zero." Rem told him and Riku nodded, the pair arrived at the location to see Zetton blasting fire balls.
"Darklops Zero: I wonder why it's here." Riku asked and Gai nodded as he took out the Orb Ring and Riku took out the Geed Riser.
"For now, let's go." Gai suggested and Riku nodded, they ran as they activated their transformations. Riku and Gai's bodies flashed white as they jumped, they changed into their Ultraman forms: Orb Spacium Zeperion and Geed Primitive. The two Ultramen landed in front of the robot and stood ready to fight.
Underground base:
Rem had projected the fight in front of Pega and Laiha, they were surprised to see Orb again fighting alongside Geed. They watched as the two Ultras fought Darklops Zero, they were having trouble with the metallic body.
City:
Geed and Orb backflipped away as they dodged a slash attack from Darklops Zero, their Color Timers flashed white as they changed forms to better combat the robotic Zero copy.
"Ultraman Orb: Lightning Attacker! Ultraman Geed: Solid Burning!" The two then ran towards their opponent and started fighting with all their might. Orb was punching Darklops Zero then dodged just as Geed threw the Geed Slugger, slashing the robot several times.
"Emerium Boost Beam!" Geed shouted then fired a thin green laser from his green forehead gem. Orb then jumped and kicked Darklops Zero with an electrical charge, sending the robot flying backwards. "Let's finish this!" Geed suggested and Orb nodded, their Color Timers flashed white again as they changed back to their base forms: Geed Primitive and Orb Spacium Zeperion. Darklops Zero activated a shield which covered the robot then Orb stepped forward.
"Geed, I'll take down the shield. You finish it!" Orb told him and Geed nodded. Orb took two steps forward as he raised his right hand up and held his left hand out to the side. "Sparion Kōsen!" Orb shouted as positioned his arms into a plus, he fired a blue and purple beam which broke the shield and damaged Darklops Zero. Geed crossed his arms as he raised them up, red and black energy engulfed him as his eyes started glowing blue.
"Wrecking Burst!" Geed shouted as he positioned his arms into a plus then fired a blue beam engulfed in red and black energy. It hit Darklops Zero in the centre, the robot started to malfunction then it fell backwards and blew up. Geed and Orb turned and looked at each other then shook hands.
City:
Riku and Gai walked through the streets whilst talking about their lives at Ultramen: Gai was giving Riku some advice on how to tackle some of the Kaijus and Robots he had fought against. The pair stopped outside a shop and while Gai went in to get them ice-cream, Riku stood outside and looked at the sky.
"How can I be strong and confident fighting but not when it comes to…?" Riku asked himself then placed a hand on his chest, over his heart. Gai was in the doorway with the ice-creams as he had heard everything.
"Emotional problems, Riku?" Gai asked as he walked over and handed his friend an ice-cream, Riku looked embarrassed as he accepted the ice-cream. "Come on, let's walk. You can talk to me about your problems. After all, we're comades: we're there to help each other." Gai told him and Riku felt a little better, he nodded as the two sat down on a bench.
"Gai, have you ever had trouble with telling someone a secret?" Riku asked and Gai nodded. "I don't mean the Ultra secret, I mean a different kind of secret." Riku explained then he ate a bit of his ice-cream.
"You mean telling someone close to you that you like them?" Gai corrected and Riku nodded. "A long time ago, I felt close to a woman I met called Natasha. I felt something but I didn't tell her but then something happened: an explosion happened during one of my fights and I thought I lost her but I found out she survived: thanks to Juggler." Gai told the story and Riku listened. "I then met her descendant called Naomi, she was just like Natasha and at one point, I thought I lost her but she too survived." Riku smiled then they got up and put the pots in the bin.
"I just wish I had the courage to be honest," Riku told his friend as they walked down the street. "Fighting is easy but telling someone how you feel, it's hard." Riku complained and Gai smiled.
"Just like fighting, we have to take risks in order to make something possible," Gai told him and Riku nodded. "Go. Tell her, I'll take care of any trouble that shows up." Gai promised then Riku ran off. Gai smiled as he was happy to help a friend, he then turned around and looked up at the sky as he looked at the Sun.
