Charri broke through her Majin foe's guard and sledgehammered her the ground. Sparkle had always been there for her when she needed it, and she was right here now, because what she needed to do now was of the utmost importance.

After finally becoming a Super Saiyan under Vegeta and Goku's tutelage, it was time for her to master it. And Sparkle, despite not being a Saiyan herself, knew about mastering transformations. Though she didn't use it at all, her Pure Majin transformation filled her with a lot of rage and a desire for chaos. And she had mastered that form, so she could help master the rage of a Super Saiyan.

"Good," Sparkle said as she flew up to face Charri. "Your ki control has gotten better. You're not bleeding out energy as you fight anymore. That's the first step toward mastering your form."

"Thank you," Charri said, trying her best to hold on to her transformation without succumbing to rage. She remembered the rage she felt at Vegeta when she first transformed, of how she just wanted to kill him. She lacked Goku and Vegeta's immediate control over the form, finding that she was more like Broly and Kale when it came to her first transformation, though thankfully, her hair turned golden instead of green. She wasn't a berserker. She almost lost control completely, and she didn't like it.

Thankfully, her successive transformations had been easier. And since Sparkle told her that she hadn't felt any such berserker energy in her ki, and that her power wasn't continually rising as she fought, Charri knew that her first time was simply just succumbing to Vegeta's taunts and insults, and not anything truly dangerous.

Charri powered up while doing her best to contain her ki. She knew how her great grandfather and her great uncle Gohan had learned how to maintain their Super Saiyan states for extended periods of time in their 8 months in there, and Charri figured that doing so was the only way for her to push beyond the first grade.

Sparkle began her assault again, forcing Charri to defend herself. Sparkle's training had always been about defense, and right now, a defensive mindset was key to her controlling her ki. She had to control her emotions while under attack while in the Super Saiyan state, something she found a non-issue in her normal form. But Super Saiyan made her emotions raw; anger came to her easier, of course, but any excitement, any joy…all caused her ki to flare as a Super Saiyan. And flared ki was the opposite of what she wanted right now.

It would take time, of course. Goku and Gohan hadn't mastered their transformations in a day; for Gohan, it took almost a full year from getting the transformation to its mastered state.

But Gohan was considerably younger and was far more inexperienced. Charri had almost two decades of martial arts training, and she had far greater emotional control than Gohan did. It was probably why she took so long to transform; things normally just rolled off her back.

Which is why, despite wanting to kill him in the moment, she was glad Vegeta had pushed her into such an emotional rollercoaster. And with Sparkle's help in emotional control, she'd be ready for when she was next called for a Time Patrol mission.
