Hey guys and girls.

Welcome back to a new chapter of Stone Cold Hunter.

So I read the feedback I got from Chapter 6.

So glad that you enjoyed the chapter that lifted the Haitus on this masterpiece I am crafting.

But there is one thing you all asked. To make the chapter longer. But it didn't seem to bother you much as it was pretty badass to cover my ass there.

I will state this now for further reference.

I will do my best to make longer chapters. If I can't perform that, then I will do my best to make the chapter pop and give you satisfaction.

So the last place we left off was where Naruto had given into his darker side for a moment and had executed 6 people in cold blood.

Not even a shred of sympathy was given as he took their lives and cleaned their clocks.

This surprised everyone present. The timid and coward like boy had just killed the victims and didn't even care. This intrigued Esdeath and Raven as they didn't expect this to happen.

But when Naruto gave his answer, it impressed them. So much so that Erza had something spark within her. A rival had been born.

What will happen now.

Enjoy.

Chapter 7: Welcome To Hell.

It had been 3 days since the day Naruto killed 6 people execution style and didn't even show any remorse at the fact that he killed them like that. Ever since that day, things have been getting even more heavy for the remaining 5 members of the group, including herself and Naruto.

Well, now 4. One of the recruits was shot by Esdeath due to the fact that the girl's body just gave out when it did. They were doing drills and had to stay within the time limit of each exercise. When the girl gave her reason as to why she couldn't carry on and that she was tired, Esdeath just leaned down to her. Pulled out her pistol, shoved the barrel into the poor exhausted female's mouth and pulled the trigger.

A sinister and demonic smile gracing and marring her face as she looked on at the latest corpse, blood plastering her face further mocking her elegant features.

Esdeath gave a vicious/fiery speech - depending on which way you look at it - to the group that when on a mission, you cannot afford to give into fatigue. Should one allow themselves to be captured after killing their target. They never existed in the first place and they will never be seen again. No one will come for you.

It was the sad truth. But it did hold merit. You just killed someone and you were likely spotted by an onlooker, who was probably on a smoke break. They report it. Every cop in the area goes into high alert and begins hunting you.

A chase ensues and you're on the run by foot along with your pursuers. Sure you'll end up having a bounty on your head. But that was the beauty of Akatsuki. Should you get away, all Akatsuki has to do is pull a few strings and that bounty on your head is lifted. They did have people everywhere. Even if they weren't agents themselves. But that was only if you got away.

After learning that, Erza found herself unable to fall asleep. So she decided, in the twilight hours of the cool morning to go for a walk to clear her head. It was currently 4:30 in the morning. The sun hadn't risen yet but the sky was slowly turning a new shade with each passing minute.

Rounding a corner, she saw the very object of her growing hatred. Naruto.

Ever since that day, 3 days ago. She couldn't get him out of her mind. And not in the good way. She always despised people who were beneath her. She remembered from her past, with her mother. She was raised to be the perfect child. Perfect grades, perfectly iron pressed clothes. Everything in her mother's eyes regarding her daughter had to be perfect. Even down to the way she walked.

It was only after she learned what was truly going on did everything fall on its head. She wasn't close with her father in the slightest as her mother forbade her from interacting with her father. Referring to him as trash that was only useful to her for having the perfect child.

One night, she couldn't get to sleep and got up to fetch a glass of water. While walking down the halls of her family mansion, she heard moaning coming from her parent's room.

Curiosity got the better of her and she moved to peak through the slightly ajar door.

What she saw, horrified her.

There, on the bed. Entangled in bedsheets and each other. Was her mother and another man. It was a truly unsightly thing to see. All she knew of her mother was how strict she was in regards to Erza's conduct. It was because of her mother that she developed a hatred for people beneath her. Not her father. It was all a ruse.

It was a scapegoat her mother fed to her. Her father was to blame. Her father is the crux of the family's impurity. How he would always try and brainwash Erza and such. But in this moment, that couldn't be further from the truth.

A hand over her mouth scared the young girl almost to death. Being lead away from the door as the sounds of her mother's moans grew distant and soon barely noticeable, she was lead to her family's dining room.

The flicking of the light as it burned the darkness away, blinding her for a few seconds, she found it was her father. A scold on his face as he set Erza down and sat down next to her.

"Yes, that is your mother." he spoke. His voice hoarse and graveled from the years of his life.

"Why?" was all the young one could ask. Her hands shaking almost uncontrollably, like a struck and abused cur.

"She never cared for you. She just wanted an heir." answered her father further bring the young girl into despair at this revelation. "She only saw her business in her eyes. Never caring for the employees she abuses and exploits. She can't stand people who have to work their way up the chain. She believes that people always have their ranks. Peasants to her are people who don't earn the same amount as her. Believing that being born into royalty is a given. Earning your royalty is an insult to the rich."

"But, that's not right." spoke the naïve girl. "Why is my mother having an affair with another man when she's clearly married to you?"

"Only on paper. We never got married in the first place. Never had a ceremony. According to her, she only wanted my genes to create the perfect heir. Once she gave birth to you. She told me my job is done. She keeps me around to keep as a pet. An escort for parties and the like. Not even a sliver of acknowledgement of what I have sacrificed for her." spoke the man now with venom in his words at how he too had been abused by this woman he used to admire. But he too felt only dread and hate towards her now. But sadly, he could do nothing. He was a slave to his own self imposed prison of damnation.

He did love her. But when he found out the truth about his purpose, he despised her ever since. Growing ever more resentful to how he lost everything because of this vile creature that sired his beloved daughter.

It hit Erza all at once. The way people always tried to get to know her and be her friend. Them trying to be nice to her. Only for Erza to brush them away. It was all because of her mother. At first, she believed all the lies her mother had been feeding her. Thinking that was she spoke was true. As if it was the word of God.

Only for her father to take a stone and shatter everything her mother had built up. All fell to the ground like broken glass.

"But what about you?" she spoke trying to hold it together but clearly failing as tears began to fall.

Her father instantly scooped his daughter into his arms and held her tight before pulling away and gazing into her eyes. Warmth enveloped Erza as she didn't know the depths of Hell her father had to face to see her happy, but clearly failed at every turn due to her mother's meddling. Tears streamed down both their faces, forming shallow puddles between daughter and father.

"I stayed for your sake. I didn't want to see you suffer. I tried to nudge you in the right direction. But that failed. Now, this is all I can do. I wanted you to try and make friends and be happy. But your mother never allowed me to influence you-"

He didn't get the chance to finish his sentence as a gunshot rung through the room and into the night.

Her father dropped to the ground with a hole to the back of his head. A bit of blood splatter landing on Erza's bright pink night gown and face.

"Damn, that man." came a voice. Cold and heartless to the tone.

Looking to who said it. Erza found her mother and her lover. His erect member still standing at attention while her mother leaned against the frame of the mahogany wood door. Cum leaking down her inner thigh.

"I told him and you, numerous times. Never to associate yourself. With one another. And now look at this."

"Looks like the dog chose to disobey an order and break his leash." cooed the man as he placed down the smoking gun onto the table.

"Erza, honey." spoke her mother walking over to her petrified daughter. Completely ignoring the fact that she had just shot the man who assisted in the creation of her child. No mercy found in her eyes nor features.

Stepping into the blood, Erza's mother knelt to her daughter. Erza's eyes locked with her's.

"This is what happens when good men poke their noses in other people's business. They dig, and dig until they find something they weren't supposed to. Your father sold his company to me because of his sales records."

Erza's eyes widened at what she was hearing. All this time, her mother told her that she owned the company. A weapons company that sold weapons all over the globe.

"His company and mine merged and I became the owner after he signed his shares to me. Sure I did this to ensure I get my hands on him by sowing seeds of discourse in his partners. But it was all for you to be born. He may not have been born into royalty. But his genes were the best around at the time."

"Yeah, at the time." chirped the man knowing full well what Erza's mother was getting at. Clearly as demented as the woman before Erza.

"No." muttered Erza as she grit her teeth as tears streamed down her cheeks in greater quantity. Mourning for the lose of her father that only now was she able to develop a connection with.

"I'm sorry. What?" spoke her mother leaning in.

"No." spoke Erza, more clearly now glaring daggers at her mother. Clearly having reached the snapping point, reaching a hand back, she slapped her own mother. "I will no longer be your puppet."

"Erza." spoke the man as he looked on as he lit up a smoke. "Listen to your mother. She knows best after all."

"Fuck you." she blurted out as she sprinted out of the room and soon, out of the house.

She could hear her mother chasing her down before falling over. The echoes of her demanding that Erza come back still echoed in her mind.

In her blindness and rage, she found herself at her uncle's place.

This was the beginning, of Erza's transformation. The spark of her new life. And the birth of her personality now. Sure she didn't show much of her mother's old personality distilment. But it was slightly present in the way she spoke to others.

And now here she was. Stranded on an island. Being trained to be a killer. Mopping up the filth on the face of the world as she was sick of the hypocrisy of others. Her uncle wanted her to face her fears. And by God was she going to do that here. That was her reasons to be trained in the art of taking lives as if she was the Grim Reaper. She made a promise to herself to never kill the innocent. Only the hypocrites of the world will face her fury. Including those who deserve it. No one told her that killing people was a just cause. Regardless of the reasons, killing is still killing. No matter the flag or the motive. But she knew it was something she'd have to do.

She had often been told of a super secret organization by her uncle. But due to classified reasons, her uncle couldn't tell her the name of the group. But he could point her in the right direction without disclosing the name of said group.

Watching on as Naruto continued his morning training. Seeing him get on his back and begin to do crunches, she clicked her tongue and turned around and walked.

The sight of the object of her animosity trying his hardest to become stronger was truly a revolting sight. She just didn't understand it. How could someone so weak even be allowed to set foot into such an group? How could she be bested at nearly every turn by this guy? How was he always one step ahead in nearly everything?

And it annoyed her so much that she couldn't stand Naruto's presence.

"Count your days, Naruto Uzumaki. You're going to need the distraction by the time I'm finished with you." she muttered to herself as she headed back to her room.

But Erza failed to notice a second person watching the blonde do his workout to get stronger. Trying so desperately to ensure he doesn't find himself chewing on a lead projectile.

Esdeath. The cyan haired instructor herself was seen on the opposite side. Spying on the one she saw take the lives of 6 people in cold blood. Pulling his body count up to an even 7. Ever since that day 3 days ago, she had her eyes trained on him. He truly piqued her interest. And now that she witnessed how vicious this timid boy could truly be. She yearned for more.

Desperately trying to find a way to awaken that cold heart within him. It had been confirmed that day, that Naruto had the capacity for a ferocious bloodlust that not even she could contain. And she loved every second of it.

Leaning against the concrete wall as she watched - according to her - her man, train. She became even more enamored with him. And she wanted to have every piece of his cruelty on display. She truly was a twisted woman to turn such a creature into something similar to herself. But that was a story for another time.

"Spying again?" came a whispered voice behind her.

Turning around, Esdeath found Raven standing there two feet away also looking at the blonde.

"I am not hiding that fact." retorted Esdeath turning her attention back to Naruto.

"He's clearly grabbed your attention, hasn't he." spoke Raven as they watched Naruto finish his crunches and move onto push ups.

"I just can't get that day out of my head. How he was ruthless in the execution of those victims. Even though they were the ones we captured that were lagging behind in the endurance challenge you threw at them. But the way he handled the situation..." Esdeath grabbed her sides as she shivered in delight as a twisted smile crept onto her lips, her knees rubbing against each other as she felt a warmth engulf her below. "...I want more."

"You've always been the psycho of the Crows. Right? Nightmare Muse?" spoke Raven with a smirk at how her friend was behaving at the memory of Naruto.

"I may be a psycho. But I sure can pick a man myself." barked Esdeath.

"Yeah." snorted Raven in an almost chuckle like manner. "As long as they're as twisted as you."

Looking from Naruto to the now orange-blue sky as golden bands began to take shape, Esdeath changed the subject.

"The time is almost here." she spoke.

Raven instantly knew what she was referring to and nodded.

"Yeah." she agreed. "The Dance Of Poison And Blood will begin soon."

And scene.

There we have it.

The latest chapter of Stone Cold Hunter.

I'm going to clear this up right here right now. This Fanfic was heavily inspired by the Grisaia games and anime series.

Never watched it or played the games? Go and check them out. You can draw similar parallels with this story.

So in this chapter I decided to give Erza some screen time.

Now we can see what Erza has been through.

Hopefully this will flesh her out even further and provide reason as to her personality and why she is constantly looking down on Naruto. Seeing him as nothing but a nuisance. But now seeing him as a rival to a degree.

We also see just how messed up Erza's past has been. Truly this poor girl has been through a lot in her life. Living a childhood lie of a perfect family only to find out it was all a façade.

It was her uncle that was the source of her strength. Why she is so determined to prove her existence. Similar to what Naruto is doing with his life.

Even showing her motives as to why she is here. To clean up the filth and remove the hypocrisy that has festered within the rich and greedy.

If that's not a just cause, then I don't what is for Erza.

But what exactly is The Dance Of Poison And Blood?

And what does this spell for Naruto in the future?

Find out next time as Stone Cold Hunter continues.
