Part 4 meeting my great uncle breaking my toe losing great grandma adopting a pet and more Zack is Celrocks MinJun JiYeon Kai and Kya are lost 42s Sam and Jake are Boris Yeltsins
one month later mommy grandma and I flew out to Oklahoma where my great uncle Joe lives he had a stroke so he was not able to travel. He is an amazing man who I think fits into our family. We spent the following 3 weeks there as I was on spring break the school I attend uses a weird schedule. We go for 6 weeks are off for 6 on for 6 and so on and so 4th this is going to take some getting used to.
When we got home mommy asked me if we could talk I said sure. We went and sat in the garden. She asked if I remembered that my great Gran was very sick. I responded yes she then told me she was now on something called hospice. From how I understand she is ready to go see my great Granddad who passed away when I was 3. I spent time with Zack Susie Sam and Jake this afternoon. Sam said She understands whats going on as She lost her great Grandmother when she was 4. Jake told me about Losing his Great Grandpa 3 years earlier. Susie knew exactly how I felt as Just before I moved here her Great aunt T had passed away after a short illness.
Just 2 weeks later I woke up early as I could hear mommy talking on the phone. She then had me come sit with her and told me great Gran was now in heaven. I asked her if it was okay to cry, she said yes and held me while I cried this was the first time I really understood what death meant. I didn't go to school as we had to leave for her house. We spent several days there and while we were there we got huge news. Mommies shop has been chosen as the best quilt and fabric shop in the country.
When we arrived home Mommy took Zack and to Visit a friends home where we were both allowed to pick out a kitten. I chose a calico cat whom I named patches, He chose a gray striped baby he named smokey. We were allowed to bring them home just 6 weeks later. We both loved both these babies as we had both wanted a pet for a long time and our grownups decided we were ready for the responsibility.
A few weeks later as mommy and I were rushing out the door I caught my big toe on the door frame. She took me to school and asked that I not do any running or activities that may really hurt my foot. After school I was still hurting really bad. And when we took my shoe off my toe and the nail were bruised and the toe was swollen. She decided to take me to the doctor the next morning. She told us that I had broken the to and badly bruised the nail and I may come off. I was excused from gym class for a month and my gymnastics class for the same amount of time. I have been in gymnastics since I was 3.
After my foot healed the gang along with our newest buddies Alex Ali Jamie and Jack decided to try out or work on the kids theater production of snow white. We all got roles or things we wanted back stage. After this we started school again. We were all excited as we were yet again in the most advanced groups and classes. This meant we all are very smart even if several of us have special abilities as my mommy puts it. You don't look at the dis in disability you look at the ability. One very interesting project we would be doing is each sending out a very special animal on an around the world adventure. What this means is each animal has a tag that say's its name who it belongs to and to please take it on adventures. They were taken with different school staff on their 1st leg to the airport train station and even on a ship. The letter also asked each person to write back and send information and pictures of each adventure.
We were also studying healthy eating and food allergies as I recently discovered I am allergic to tree nuts, this was an interesting lesson for me. It also showed that in my group alone there are over a dozen allergies. They are Dill lactose intolerant and allergic to shellfish, Chuckie nuts strawberries and soy, Jamie wheat dairy eggs, Susie nuts soy, Zack cinnamon soy and blueberries. That's not including my nut and seed allergies. We all were challenged to create a weeks worth of healthy meals.
