Usagi was walking to school by herself since Naru was running late and Ami was more than likely already at school. She crossed the crossing walk but there was a truck that wasn't stopping and another girl tackled her out of the way just in time. Both of them were safe.

Usagi looked up at her savior and saw that she was a tall girl and looked very strong. She had brown hair that was put up in a ponytail and wore rose earrings. She then noticed that the girl was wearing a uniform like hers but hers was a little different. The color was a bit different with a long khaki skirt while the top was mostly the same.

"Are you okay?" The girl asked

"Y-yes I am, thank you" Usagi said

"I'm glad you're not hurt" The girl said before leaving

The twin tailed girl saw her rose earrings and thought they were pretty. She couldn't help but feel like she had seen her before.

Later at school Naru informed her friends about the new student.

"Did you hear about the new transfer student? She's very tall apparently and looks very intimidating" Naru said

Usagi figured Naru was talking about the girl that had saved her earlier in the morning. She then remembered why she looked so familiar.

"Ah I just remembered. I believe you're talking about Makoto Kino. Rumor has it that she was kicked out of her previous school for fighting. Apparently the school had to give her a different type of uniform because of her height since our normal uniforms didn't have a size for her" Usagi said

Naru looked at her friend.

"Ok, seriously how do you know all this stuff?" Naru asked

"I'm very well informed" Usagi said

"If only you were like that during your studies" Ami said

"Ouch, that's cold" Usagi said

"That's the harsh truth" Naru said

"I'm getting better" Usagi said with pout

They agreed that she was getting better but the process was slow and the girl had a hard time paying attention.

It was lunch time and Usagi saw that Makoto was on a bench by herself and looked at her bento.

"Wow! That's looks so yummy!" Usagi said

Makoto looked over and saw that it was the girl that she had saved this morning.

"Oh hello again" Makoto said

"Mind if I sit here?" Usagi asked

Makoto's eyes widened when the blonde asked her that because usually everyone was intimidated by her. She nodded and the girl plopped right next to her. She shared some of her lunch with her and Usagi really liked it.

"This is so good! You're mom must be one heck of a cook" Usagi said

The brunette looked down and this didn't go by unnoticed by the blonde.

"What's wrong?" Usagi asked

"Well my parents aren't around anymore" Makoto said

Usagi gasped and apologized.

"OH! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to bring such a painful memory" Usagi said

The brunette shook her head.

"No, its fine! You didn't know. They...died in an airplane crash and that's gave me a fear of flying. I was forced to learn how to take care of myself" Makoto said

"Must've been tough" Usagi said

"Oh you have no idea! But I eventually learned to get the hang of it" Makoto said

"And here I am complaining about my parents making me study when I tell them I'm not good at it" Usagi said

Makoto laughed. This girl was really something.

"I'm not very good at studying either" Makoto said

"Say Makoto, there's a rumor going around that you got kicked out of your previous school for fighting" Usagi said

"Well those rumors are true" Makoto said

Usagi gasped.

"Wait you actually fought someone?" Usagi asked

"Yeah, I was actually standing up for someone else because that guy that I fought was bullying her. So I beat him up" Makoto said

"I knew you were strong" Usagi said

Makoto blushed when Usagi had called her strong.

"But at the same time you're very pretty" Usagi said

The brunette didn't know what to say since this was the first time someone had called her pretty.

"Y-you think so?" Makoto asked

"Of course" Usagi said

"You might be the first person to ever compliment me like that" Makoto said

"What? There's no way that's true! Someone must have complimented you like that or something" Usagi said

"No, I'm serious. I did have this crush once and confessed my feelings to him but he turned me down. Probably because of how intimidating I look" Makoto said

"Eh you don't look intimidating to me" Usagi said

Makoto looked at Usagi in surprise.

"I don't?" Makoto asked

"No, of course not! What matters is how a person is on the inside" Usagi said

Makoto looked very happy to hear this from her first friend here.

After school Naru, Usagi and Makoto went to wedding shop to look at dresses because they dreamed of getting married one day. They imagined themselves wearing a wedding dress marrying the man of their dreams.

They went inside and looked at the many wedding items. Soon Ami and Rei showed and wondered what the big deal was about weddings only for them to receive the reply that they will understand one day when they're in love.

Soon a mannequin started to move and transformed into a youma wearing a black dress. It's name was Bride.

"Give me your love, your energy" Bride said

The youma charged at them but Makoto charged in first, lifted it up and threw it across the room.

"Wow nice going!" Naru said

Other beings started to move too. All of them were wedding related youma. A groom, a ring bearer and a flower girl.

"There's too many of them" Ami said

"We need to run" Rei said

A man suddenly appeared in front of them and it wasn't Jadeite this time. He was wearing the same uniform as Jadeite but he had long wavy brown hair.

"I'm afraid you aren't going anywhere" The man said

Makoto glared at him and demanded to know who he was.

"Who are you?" Makoto asked

"Forgive my rudeness. My name is Nephrite, a commander of the dark kingdom" Nephrite said

"Another Commander?" Naru asked

The youma had them surrounded and everyone, aside from Makoto, nodded and transformed into their precure forms.

Makoto was shocked to see that her new friends were the precure. She had a heard some stories about them but didn't think they were actually true.

"Nice to see that all of you are ready" Nephrite said

"Moon, get Makoto out of here" Mercury said

"We'll take care of these clowns" Earth said

"We'll catch up with you soon" Mars said

Moon nodded and grabbed onto Makoto's hand and ran out the door. Nephrite smirked before disappearing.

Makoto could hardly believe how strong Moon's grip is on her. It felt like she was dragging herself.

"Wait! Hold on! What's going on?!" Makoto asked

"Well to give you the short version, there are bad guys that are trying to take over our planet and its our job to stop them" Moon said

Makoto appreciated the short explanation but she wondered if it was okay for them to leave the others behind of their own.

Nephrite then appeared in front of them.

"Going somewhere, Precure?" Nephrite asked in a mocking tone

They stopped and Moon remembered her battle with Jadeite and Nephrite was likely stronger than he was.

"Alright Nephrite, come at me but leave Makoto out of this" Moon said

The brunette was shocked to hear that this girl she had just met was putting her safety above her own.

"A tempting offer, Cure Moon, but I can't accept that offer since her human energy will be needed for our revival" Nephrite said

Moon knew that she needs to fight and told Makoto to stay back and the brunette just nodded and got out of the way.

"Precure, Jadeite might have failed to defeat you but I won't make that same mistake. I'm stronger than he is and you struggled to defeat him, you stand no chance against me" Nephrite said

"We'll see about that, Nephrite" Moon said

The white haired cure charged in and performed a high kick but the general blocked it with his arm and then hit her with a strong punch that sent her flying and building wall. He then unleashed several light blue shaped orbs and launched them at her. Moon saw his attack coming and brought up a defensive wall.

"Lunar defense"

A white shield appeared in front of her and it blocked his attack. Nephrite was honestly impressed.

"Impressive, Cure Moon. But that won't be enough to defeat me" Nephrite said before charging at her again

Makoto just watched as Moon and Nephrite exchanged blows with each other but it seemed that Nephrite was getting more hits in. Moon then swung her right leg but Nephrite blocked it again but this is what Moon wanted him to do and used her strength to push herself away from him and then performed a front flip before kicking the brown haired general on the head, sending him crashing down on the ground, leaving a crater on the ground and Moon managed to land on her feet.

Nephrite groaned before getting up.

"Not bad Cure Moon. I can see why Jadeite was having trouble with someone like you but like I said, I'm stronger than him" Nephrite said

He then charged at the white cure with a kick which Moon responded with her own kick and they were back to parrying and blocking each other's attacks. The general then brought some magic meteors down which hit the warrior and when she landed and started tumbling on the ground he round house kicked her across the field.

"It seems like your teammates are also having hard time against my youma but no matter. My focus is on you, Cure Moon" Nephrite said

Moon struggled to get up and was covered in wounds but still managed to stand up. The general laughed and unleashed a dark wind toward her but she countered with her own attack.

"Precure: Full moon ray"

Moon unleashed a white beam from her hands and it managed to overpower his attack. Nephrite tried to stop it with his hands and he managed to do it for a little bit but Cure Moon's attack was stronger than he anticipated it to be and it knocked him across the battlefield.

The general managed to get up and he was scraped up a bit but was still fine. The only thing that was really hurt was his hands from trying to block her attack. He could tell that Cure Moon was a very powerful cure with hidden potential.

Nephrite brought out a sword and swung it, dark energy was unleashed from the blade and it hit Moon before she could defend herself against his attack.

Makoto could only watch as her new friend was struggling in her battle against Nephrite. She thought back to the time that she was kind to her and spent time with her throughout the day. Usagi was the first friend she had ever made since moving here and she treated her differently compared to how other people had treated her in the past. Before she knew what was going on she had hollered out to the general.

"HEY! LEAVE HER ALONE!" Makoto yelled

Nephrite stopped and looked over at the girl that had yelled at him and it was the brunette. He was surprised she was still here and had not tried to run away yet. She was glaring at him.

"That's right! You leave her alone!" Makoto said once again

"What are you going to do about it?" Nephrite asked

Makoto charged in and tried to attack him but Nephrite easily dodged her attacks with ease.

"Give it up, you're just a human. You won't be able to defeat me at all" Nephrite said

The general then backhanded her and that sent her flying and she was about to hit the wall of a building but something cushioned her so she wouldn't take the full impact. She looked down and saw that it was Moon, who was still trying to recover.

"Are you okay?" Moon asked

"I should be asking you that" Makoto said with concern

"I'll be fine. Don't try to fight him. I'll take him on. Run away when there's an opening" Moon said

"I can't do that to a friend" Makoto said

Moon looked at her with wide eyes.

"You befriended me and treated me with kindness and for me to turn away and run away when my friend is fighting to protect everything is not something I can do. I want to help you and everyone I can even if its only a little bit" Makoto said

Luna saw that Makoto was glowing and crafted a broach for her and yelled at her to use the broach to transform into a precure. At first the girl was shocked that a cat could talk but she pushed that issue aside for now when she heard that she could become a precure, which means that she could fight on equal terms with Nephrite and started to transform.

"Precure Planet Change"

Makoto's hair was undone from its ponytail and it extended down to her waist. Her new long hair was now in long twin braids and her hair color changed from brown to green. Her rose earrings were replaced with green lightning bolts. She now had a black choker with a green lightning bolt on it. She now wore short white gloves with green lightning bolts on the back of the the gloves. She was now wearing light green socks that went a little bit past her knees and green boots with dark green laces. Her top was green and the frills were light green while her sleeves that and shoulders were white. She had a dark green ribbon on her chest where her broach went. Her bottom was a green skirt with two layers of frills. The first layer was regular green while the layer was light green. On the back of her skirt was a dark green ribbon. She was wearing a pink headband with a green lightning bolt on it. Like her fellow cures, her midriff was exposed.

With her transformation complete she started to make her introduction.

"Using great strength and courage to defend those in need, Cure Jupiter"

Nephrite was shocked to see that the brunette girl had awakened as a new precure.

Jupiter looked at herself in surprise but then she started to feel the power that came with the transformation.

"Get ready Nephrite!" Jupiter said

"Don't act all cocky kid! You had just awakened! You're no match for me!" Nephrite said before charging at her.

Jupiter managed to dodge an incoming punch by ducking and managed to hit him with an uppercut, sending him flying upwards, he then saw Jupiter throw Moon in the air by her request and the white cure dived down and hit him in the stomach with an axel kick, sending him crashing and tumbling across the battlefield. Jupiter decided to try out her new power.

"Precure: Jupiter Thunder Rage"

Jupiter send a massive lightning bolt at the general and he tried to block it with his sword but it was no use and he got struck hard by her attack.

Nephrite managed to stand but he had taken some major damage. Both Cures were about to attack but another general appeared and this one had wavy auburn hair in a ponytail.

"What are you doing here, Zoisite?" Nephrite asked

"Queen Beryl wants you back at once" Zoisite said

The general was surprised but just nodded before turning to the other cures.

"You live today precure but you won't be so lucky next time" Nephrite said

Both generals then disappeared. The rest of the cures then showed up and was glad to have another cure on the team and was one step closer to defeating the dark kingdom.
