Hestia had appeared in the underworld and repeated the prophecy to them all, Percy sighed, it was official he had to lead a new war, he didn't want to but it had been spoken into existence again, this time it would be different. He would have to lead gods against their own.
Percy sighed, "I say we need to be sneaking in asking the other gods as if we try to step foot on Olympus, Zeus may try to strike us down."
Everyone seemed to agree, Hestia spoke "I wish to stay neutral but as Olympus is not safe, I will stay here if that's okay with you brother?"
Hades nodded, "Of course sister."
Hestia smiled brightly and left, going to set up a room for herself. Percy looked around, thinking. They would have to really try to convince Olympians to join them, especially as the prophecy says they will be replaced, minor gods would also not be an easy challenge to sway.
"We can't count on minor sea gods to join us, I don't think, especially as they did just cause a civil war themselves." Poseidon said, "but they may join us, if I work on a way to please everyone."
Hades looked around before speaking, "I know Thanatos will support me, we may be able to sway his siblings such as Hypnos, Eris, Nemesis. We should also try to sway Nike, Tyche and Hecate onto our side. That way we have the god of peaceful death, goddess of Chaos/discord, Goddess of Revenge, Goddess of Victory, Goddess of Luck, Goddess of Magic. As well as the god of sleep. We shall summon all of them here to talk to them and then we can try to move onto other gods."
The three nodded in agreement, Hades then spoke "Thanatos is my lieutenant so he will side with us, Hypnos tends to be around and will side with us, I shall ask my daughter Melinoe as well, we have the three furies, and Cerebus of course."
As Thanatos, Hypnos, Eris, Nemesis, Nike, Tyche, Hecate, Melinoe heard their names be called, they appeared in-front of Hades, "Names have powers, my lord. You said ours and we have answered the call to our names, what can we do for you?" Thanatos asked.
Hades let out a toothy grin, "Thanatos, my trusty lieutenant! I - we have a question for you all. A prophecy for a war against Olympus has been issued and I was hoping you'd all side with me and Poseidon instead of our other brother."
Thanatos and the others seemed to think about it, but one by one after hearing the prophecy they all pledged their loyalty to Nico and Percy but not to the two children of Rhea and Kronos. Hades and Poseidon didn't seem pleased about it, but at least they had allies now.
The gods that had appeared, disappeared just as quickly.
Nico and Percy soon then disappeared back into the mortal world, into some random field, under a tree just so they could chill for a little but as they did, a bright pink light and an aura of love seemed to appear.
Stood before them was Aphrodite, she smiled sweetly at the two, "Hello Boys.." her tone flirty, "I heard the prophecy and we all know, I don't go by family loyalty, but the loyalty of love which leads me to join you, your love for each other is great, its inspiring, you found each other after losing everyone, you fought and made up, you love each other so much and it makes my heart and domain pulse, so Perseus and Niccolò, I pledge loyalty to you both, to win or lose, to keep my seat or be replaced. I am at your call for war." She then disappeared, just as quick as she appeared.
"Well that was… strange." Both Percy and Nico spoke.
"Jinx!" Said Percy.
Nico groaned. "Well…
Percy laughed, "You owe me a blue coke now, Shadow."
Nico rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah. Now shall we return to the underworld? Before the Drama queen tries to strike us down?"
"...That'd be for the best." Percy nodded.
The two then flashed away back to the underworld, appearing in the throne room, "so Aphrodite has pledged her loyalty to us."
Hades and Poseidon both raised an eyebrow.
Percy and Nico shrugged and walked off.
On Olympus, Zeus was gripping his throne's armrest with a steel-grip, to the point that it started to crumble under the strength.
Athena, the wisdom goddess was the first to approach and kneel before her father. "Lord Zeus, father. I, Athena, pledge my loyalty to serve and protect Olympus from this civil war with all my life including my dying breath. I swear this on the styx."
Once she had finished her oath, thunder boomed, the styx had accepted the oath and it was now sealed.
Next Hera approached and knelt before her husband, "Husband, I, Hera, pledge my loyalty to protect Olympus and our thrones until my dying breath." This time Hera didn't swear on the styx, but Zeus didn't seem to mind.
Aphrodite, Poseidon, Hestia and Hades were all absent from the throne room. Either leading the other side, swore to the other side already or was going to be neutral.
Apollo looked around and thought, who should he swear to; Hades did curse his oracles, but Percy was on that side, and he rather favored Percy, as he did save Olympus' ass twice during wars. But that's when he stood, "Father, I pledge to save Olympus from this rising civil war and let your reign carry on."
Hepheatus got up and flashed away, he would not swear to his mother or father. He would either be neutral or side with his 'wife' and Percy's side. Dionysus wasn't present either, he wasn't at camp either. Nobody knew where he was at all.
Artemis wasn't present, she was mourning her lost hunters. Kratos - the once demigod who slaughtered Ares, and took in the war, thinking. He then got up and flashed away to the underworld, he would join Hades' side. Demeter had just got up and flashed to the underworld, she would side with her brothers and her daughter.
Demios and Phobos had appeared in the throne room, "Grandfather, Grandmother. We both pledge our loyalty to you, to destroy the man that killed and faded our father."
In a blinding silver light, Artemis appeared, "Father, I pledge my loyalty to your side."
All the olympians have now picked sides, minor gods flocking to any side to support them.
In the underworld, Percy had a map out. "We need a plan of attack, they will expect us to rush Olympus and we will but we need a plan. Since we are all gods, we can just appear on Olympus, since we have a few neutral gods we could use their palaces to stage an attack from instead of just appearing into the throne room"
Everyone agreed, and that's where Demeter offered her place. The war was now officially about to start.
Sat on her throne on Olympus, Athena was making a plan, "We need to guard the throne room with our lives, as they are seats of powers. Destroy them and we become mortal and easy to kill. So we wait for them here, reading ourselves, unleashing hell on them as they come in and hopefully take them off-guard, we will have scouts all over the streets to alert us if they approach."
Zeus grinned, liking the plan.
Every god, Olympian or minor was either armored up, weapons at the ready, or were in Hades' palace as neutral gods. Percy's side, flashed into Demeter's palace, ready to launch their attack when Percy gave the order.
