Both sides were on Olympus. Ready for war. Percy's side awaiting his orders, Zeus' sides awaiting the enemy to come into the throne room.
Percy turned to the gaggle of deities behind him, "Today, we make history, today we rise against Zeus' tyranny. We bring a new age with our win, peace for the heavens and the mortal world. Demigods will finally be safe. Today, a new age begins with the fire of war. We may lose numbers, you may be faded by the enemy but your sacrifice won't be lost, you shall be remembered in history as heroes, as founders of the new age!"
Everyone who sided with Percy seemed to be motivated with his speech, he was good at speeches even if he said he wasn't. They waited - for Percy to give the order.
Zeus looked at the gods who sided with him, "You all have answered my call to defend Olympus from a band of rouge gods, some of them our siblings, some our uncles/aunts, some our cousins, some our parents. But we shall defend Olympus and my mighty reign!"
Zeus' speech was a lot less group focused and more focused on himself whereas Percy's managed to rally his troops, his allies, into wanting to give their best.
Percy nodded at Nico and the rest, "Go!" That's when major and minor gods rushed out of Demeter's Olympus Palace and rushed down the streets of Olympus, the scouts that Athena had placed had sided with Percy so the throne room would be caught off-guard. The gods' rushed down Olympus' streets, citizens hiding away in their homes, they soon reached the blown off doors to the throne room, that's when Percy and Nico took the front, weapons in their hands, glaring at the enemy.
Zeus had his master bolt in his hand, stood in his full golden armor, it had a crown engraved on it with a lightning bolt over the crown.
Percy spoke, "Last chance to back out of the war and peacefully hand over power."
In response, Zeus let out a booming laugh "As if, I would hand MY seat, MY right, MY Kingdom to a lowly god, a demigod made a god out of PITY!"
Nobody moved, no side moved. Both awaiting orders, both eyeing down their family. That's when Percy charged, everyone behind them followed Nico by his side. Hades and Poseidon flanking their sides. Kratos jumped ahead and started to fight Hera.
Percy and Poseidon both teamed up against Athena and Artemis, their attacks pressing hard but the two goddesses managed to defend their attacks. Athena often jabbing with her spear, and wielding her shield, Artemis often sending down a volley of arrows at the two, some arrows hitting their marks.
Nico and Hades took on Apollo and Hermes, Apollo shooting down volleys of golden arrows, Hermes running around at superspeed, using his Caduceus to get hits on.
Zeus stood back, like the coward he was, sending down lightning bolts and whomever he wanted, minor gods fought others, however after a few minutes of pointless fighting, minor gods seemed to be swapping- to Percy's side, they then helped the major gods press attacks.
Artemis and Athena managed to press Percy and Poseidon back, but that's when the two focused on the ground, making it shake, everyone fell off balance apart from those 2. Which gave them an upper hand, Riptide slicing through Athena with ease now, fading her. Poseidon's trident, slicing through Artemis which faded her.
Nico and Hades were the next to get up, Hades was using bident, and Nico his trusty sword, they managed to kick Apollo and Hermes weapons away from them, plunging their weapons into the gods, fading them.
Kratos was using dual swords, Hera holding her spear but she was using her 'silver tongue' to try and get Kratos to stop, it seemed to be working as Hera commanded him to stab himself with his own sword.
Hecate was casting magic at Hera now, to mute her, which it did, which gave Thanatos a chance to reap her soul with his scythe. Demios, Phobos and Zeus were all that were left however Demios and Phobos seemed to join Percy now Kratos was dead.
Percy looked at his group, "This is mine and Nico's fight. Stand down, go talk to citizens or go talk to our neutral gods." The group seemed to nod, minor gods disappearing, Olympians going back to the underworld. Hades and Poseidon stayed though, wanting to see their youngest brother get slaughtered by two 'lowly' gods as Zeus called them.
Percy and Nico circled the throne room, dodging Zeus' random bolts of lightning, they needed to get a chance to rush in so they could use their weapons against the Tyrant king, Percy shook the ground, while Nico summoned cracks for skeleton soldiers to crawl out of.
The dead soldiers acted as a distraction, as Percy and Nico managed to rush into the middle, close to Zeus. Too close to Zeus for his comfort. Percy had one way they could deal damage to Zeus, "Cover me Neeks!" he yelled, as he concentrated, closing out his eyes, seeking the ichor that ran through every gods veins, he soon found Zeus' and he started to slow it down, not to a stop, but it would cause Zeus muscle pain, joint pain and would put pressure on his godly heart.
Nico did cover Percy, watching as Zeus keeled over from the pain, there was their chance. Percy opened his eyes, and charged so did Nico, both managed to get good hits on Zeus' armor damaging it, but Zeus weakly mustered lightning bolts that narrowly missed the two.
Percy and Nico took a step back, and charged again. This time their swords pierce Zeus' armor and managed to pierce his skin going all the way through, fading him.
The throne room was a mess, thrones destroyed, the floor destroyed, the columns destroyed. Percy and Nico sat on the floor panting hard. "At Least that's over." Hades spoke, as he and Poseidon patted the boys back, "Well done on defeating Zeus." Poseidon had told the two gods before he and Hades just vanished to the underworld.
Percy and Nico, just laid down on the floor panting, waiting for what was next. They had to deal with the aftermath now.
That's when a bright light covered the room, out of the bright light was the remaining Olympians who sided with them, Ananke, Annabeth, Hazel, Leo, Frank, Jason, Piper, Thalia, Silena, Charles, Reyna, Clarisse, Chris, and all their other friends that they had 'lost' during the wars.
Percy looked shocked, "...I..WHAT?" He yelled as he took in all of his now not so dead friends, "How?" He asked, tears filling his eyes.
Ananke smiled a little, "all their souls didn't exactly reach the underworld, as they died, I took their souls, and bodies. They have trained, lived and loved on my Island, while we awaited for your destiny to unravel and for the new peace age to begin."
Nico and Percy were both too stunned to talk. "..."
Annabeth noticed the two holding hands, "Percy, Nico im happy that you both found each other especially in such tough times, we all have been watching you both."
Nico rolled his eyes, "CREEPS!" He joked, Percy was still very shocked.
