A large hurricane was in Brisbane. It was just some regular rain and sight wind. The hurricane came at 2:26 AM. Bingo was in her bed, but she couldn't sleep. She was thirsty and wanted water. In the other room, Bingos mom, Chili, was sleeping on her bed with Bandit. She heard creaking when she was already waking up. She saw Bingo in the doorway.

"Mum, I need water.

"Chili looked at Bingo. She was incredibly tired.

"O-Ok.." Chili tiredly said.

Both Bingo and Chili were red heelers. Then, a phone alarm went off. It was coming from Bandits phone. Chili turned towards Bandit.

"Bandit, turn that off."

"Yeah, I know, but I have to go."

Bandit got up and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. Bingo was confused now.

"Mum, where is dad going." She asked with an empty bottle of water in her hand.

"Well, hon, dad is going to be gone for the weekend for work." Chili said to Bingo

Bandit was going to an area where the skeletons of multiple Tasmanian Devil's were found. He was an archeologist. Bandit was in a rush, so he finished brushing his teeth rather quickly. He got out of the bathroom and walked towards the door but gave a quick wave to Bingo.

"Bye, dad."

"Bye Bingo."

Bandit walked away. Little did he know, it would be the last time he saw his normal life.

He walked out the front door and closed it. He saw his car in the driveway. It was a red jeep. He went to it, unlocked it, and got in. Bandit took the keys and started the engine, and drove off. A few hours later, he was the freeway. He decided to stop at a nearby coffee shop. But as he was about to leave the freeway, he saw a bug in the distance. He also noticed that cars were blocking the rest of the freeway. The bugs silhouette got bigger as it was approaching the car.

"That's a big bug -"

The cricket slamed itself on his car, causing him to swerve off. Bandit crashed the car into a wall, but it didn't destroy it. In fact, it didn't do any critical damage. The cricket flew off into the night sky. Bandit knew he had to get home ASAP. Then he heard shouting coming from outside. He slowly opened the car door to find Kevin with Jean Luc.

"Hey, hey sir!" Kevin shouted in a painful manner. It was clear he was in pain.

"Hey, you need something?!" Bandit shouted back.

Kevin ran up to him.

"Can you take us to your house, I need a first aid ASAP!"

"Well, what's with the ki-."

Bandit looked at Jean Luc in absolute shock. He recognized him from a year earlier.

"Uh, yeah, just hurry up and get in."

"Thank you, sir."

All three got into the car and drove the opposite direction back him.

"Ok, so tell me what the hell is happening," Bandit told Kevin.

Kevin then told him the story.

"Ok so, I'm a researcher and I was at Chernobyl Ukraine, and we found this cricket army ant looking thing and it killed one of my crew and we toke it back, a-and we actually found a ton of them and toke them as well, and they escaped and they killed this kids parents, SO PLEASE TAKE US SOMEWHERE SAFE!"

"Ok damn chill!"

Kevin looked at Jean Luc to see he was crying.

"It's ok, kid, it's ok." Kevin softly told him.

"So what's your name?"

"Kevin, what about you?"

"Bandit, I actually have two daughters, and one of them actually met the kid a year ago, I think."

The sentence set off a spatk in Kevin's head. 6 hours later, Bandit pulled into the driveway. Kevin got out of the car. He told Jean Luc to stay in the car for a little bit. Bandit opened the door where Bluey and Bingo were waiting.

"Dad!" They shouted.

"Hey girls!"

Chili walked up towards Bandit.

"Why are you here so early?" she asked.

"Uh, they called me off because they already had a team."

"Oh, well, who's that?"

"Um, this is Kevin, and his arm is hurt, so im going to get him a first aid kit now."

Chili was now questioning Bandits behavior.

Bluey walked away to the living room where the TV was. Then, Jean Luc quietly went through the door and went upstairs. A plan Kevin was making had started.

To make Jean Luc happy.
