"We are all gathered here. To mourn for Emily Deets. She was a beloved mother, and wife." Said the priest hovering over the open grave. Four people dressed in black holding a single rose looked down at the casket in silence each placing the roses on top. First was a man with orange like hair covered in a dark fedora and next to him was a young red head placing her flower top of his then backed away for the girls turn. The oldest had her hair colored different then her sister was silver, blue, and a bit of purple mixed in pulled in a messy bun under her veil kissing the the rose and placed it with the others with her young sister with black hair doing the same as the casking was being lowered and the grave keepers buried it while the sisters watched. They soon left the cemetery watching the clouds growing darker and darker. "You think we'll see her again, Morgan." Said the sister with her head on her shoulder. "I miss her too. One day we will see her again, Lydia." Said Morgan pecking her head. She rubbed her arm holding her close as they got to their childhood home. "Dad. What's going on?" Said Morgan seeing the moving truck and their stuff in boxes being loaded. "We wanted to surprise you two. We're moving today to one of the houses Delia found." Said The man. "Dad. This is our home." Said Lydia. "This will be good for all of us." Said Delia. "To you guys but not us especially after our mom died." Said Morgan. "It's a new start now go start packing up." Said Delia as they pulled over. Morgan got out first going inside with Lydia following to grab some boxes. She passed the movers going to her half empty room seeing her drawers and bed were gone. After hours of boxing up her things and helping Lydia in her room with their parents doing business on the phone. The girls drove to their hangout which was downtown walking around. Lydia brought her camera to take pictures and saw a familiar face nudging Morgan.
"Lydia. Morgan. How are you girls?" Said a man seeing them and walked over. He smiled at Lydia and hugged Morgan kissing her cheek. "We're moving." Said Lydia. "What? I don't understand. Why now?" Said The man looking at them. "It's our stepmother's idea no doubt. They had movers over while we were at the funeral. Me and Lydia came to take on last stroll before we leave. I'm sorry Max." Said Morgan. "You still have my number right?" Said Max as they walked. "Yeah." Said Morgan. "Then we can still talk while you settle in." Said Max. "We're not going to." Said Lydia. "I'll call you when I can. I just want to spend time with Lydia after we lost Mom." Said Morgan. "I completely understand." Said Max kissing her lips. "I have to get back to the guys." He says walking to the four men waiting by the bar. Morgan and Lydia continue their long day walking around New York enjoying the memories they had with their mother. She then drove them back to the house and joined their parents for their last dinner. Lydia went to the car where Morgan was laying on the hood star gazing. She got laying next to her looking at the stars and full moon smiling a little. "What are you thinking?" Said Morgan noticing her lips curled a bit. "I just thinking about Dad got stung by wasps during grandma visits." Said Lydia. "Yeah he thought using two fly swatters would help. Remember we just watched smacking himself and screaming down the neighborhood." Said Morgan laughed a little. She looked seeing Lydia smiling more and heard a noise coming from the house. "Thank God we are outside." Said Lydia realizing what they were hearing. "Why can't they fuck when we're not this close to the house or in a hotel." Said Morgan. "I hope they get hurt themselves while they do it. That way it will end sooner." She says. "Do you have the keys?" Said Lydia. "I'll haul ass and get our blankets too." Said Morgan doing a battle yell going inside. She ran down to the master bedroom and heard the noises getting loud in the bathroom. Morgan looked through the clothes and found what she was looking for. She then ran to her room and Lydia's snatching the blankets then ran outside. Lydia got off as Morgan unlocked the car and tossed her her black blanket. She opened the passenger side and laid the seat flat with Morgan doing the same getting in before locking the car again. They soon went to sleep the rest of the night waiting for their lives to change.
*Hours later*
Morgan drove her car behind the moving truck to a small town to a large hill with a house on top. She pulled over to the side seeing the construction equipment and workers coming in and out of the house. Stepping out she looked around seeing how nice the house looked at noticed something in one of the windows. She can see a man and a woman looking and got tapped on the shoulder by someone. Morgan turned around seeing a young lean man wearing a beige suit and glasses smiling at her. "Hi I'm Jimmy. You must be Morgan." Said the man shaking her hand. "I am." Said Morgan looking confused. "My father is Otto who works with your father. I heard so much about you and your sister Libby." "Lydia." Morgan corrected. "Sorry. It's that I never been this close to someone so pretty." Said Jimmy blushing. "I have a boyfriend." Said Morgan. "Just being a friend. Now how about after you make yourself at home. I can give you a tour." Said Jimmy. "Thanks but no thanks." Said Morgan walking away from him. "wait a minute. I jus think we should spend time to together since I will be working along my father. Just please think about it." Said Jimmy. "Be careful with the mirror. That's antique." Said Morgan following the movers inside. She looked through the rooms to find one that was fine with her by putting her boxes in and setting her room the way she had ot back at the old house. Lydia looked around for her and found her putting her pillow on the bed. "What do you think so far?" Said Morgan when she saw her standing there. "Alright. I ran into the people that knew the previous owners. They apparently died and i was wondering if you anything strange here." Said Lydia. "You saw a man and woman too." Said Morgan. "Just for a second before the people came to give me the skeleton key." Said Lydia then shouting and screaming caught their attention.
The girls went downstairs to find their dad screaming at the construction men who used Delias art pieces to smash the kitchen window where he was standing near it. Lucky for him no one gotten seriously hurt while Morgan went o look around their new home. Morgan saw every room in the house until she found the stairs leading tot he attic. She climbed up the steps to open the door finding it locked and went to get the key but suddenly opened on its own then she was half way down the stairs. Morgan went up and looked in seeing old stuff from the previous owners and a model of the town. She walked around look at the model seeing a scene of a funeral for couple named Adam and Barbara Maitland. "Morgan!" Said Delia. "What?!" Said Morgan. "I have list of groceries for you." Said Delia. Morgan walked out closing the door and went to the living area seeing Delia moving her art pieces. She took the list sitting on the dining table and headed to the car. "Morgan wait!" Said Jimmy running over to her. "Where are you going?" He asked. "To the store." Said Morgan. "How about i help you that way we can get to know one another. Plus the smell the of construction is affecting my allergies." Said Jimmy pulling out a handkerchief to blow his nose. "I think i c-" Morgan stopped to see her father gesturing her to let him go with her. "I guess you can help." Said Morgan with a fake smile. She and Jimmy got in leaving the property going to the small town quietly. Jimmy told her where to go and went to tell her about the history of the buildings and companies. He looked at her with admiration as she was looking for a parking spot near the store. "How about we split up and get the list finished?" Said Morgan. "If you insist. How we meet near the floral department once we're done." Said Jimmy. "Perfect." Said Morgan ripping the list in half and gave the bottom half. She walked away from Jimmy to grab a cart and wiped off the fake smile she had on and looked through her list while walking around the store to avoid Jimmy from talking to her.
