Morgan got dressed heading downstairs to make breakfast and saw Lydia getting a glass of water. "How did you sleep?" Said Morgan. "Fine except for the footsteps but must've been Dad or Delia." Said Lydia. "True. They have been transforming this house to make their bosses happy." Said Morgan. "Well I'm gonna get dressed for school." Said Lydia. "Wait you're going to school already? We just moved in yesterday." Said Morgan. "I know but our parents want to get rid of me. I'm taking my bike there." Said Lydia going to her room. Morgan went to the fridge to cook some eggs sunny side up and took a look at the newspaper for any jobs. She took her time over the stove saying goodbye to Lydia who was dressed in her school uniform and left the house. Once Lydia left Morgan circled a few jobs that seemed alright as her dad came down for his coffee. "Morning." Said the man. Morgan didn't say anything but hummed then looked at the stairs thinking someone was standing there. She then shook her head thinking it was from her imagination as her dad took the newspaper from her. "Save the help wanted ads." Said Morgan going upstairs to the attic. She walked to the door leaning her ear against the door hearing shuffling and voices. "She can't see us." Said man's voice. "She did and her sister. We need them to leave our home." Said a woman. Morgan quickly opened the door walking to find the same people she saw yesterday. She saw a man in a plaid shirt with glasses and woman with long curly hair with a sundress looking back her. "Who are you?" Said Morgan. "Can she see us?" Said the man. "I'm not blind or deaf. What are you two doing here?" Said Morgan. "We live here. This is our house. I'm Barbara and this is " "Adam. From the tiny model of the funeral I saw." Said Morgan. "Yes. That's us." Said Adam. "You were the previous owners that died. I saw you through the window." Said Morgan. "And you're not freaked out by ghosts." Said Barbara.
"I heard my parents and accidentally walked in on them having sex many times even volunteered with my friend who works as crime cleaner. Nothing scares me anymore." Said Morgan. "Are you trapped here?" She asked. "Yes and can't understand anything anymore not even this handbook helps." Said Adam picking up a book from the dusty couch. "The handbook for the Recently Deceased." Said Morgan taking it from him. "Look can you tell your family about us. That way you can leave." Said Adam as Morgan laughed. "You gotta figure it out for yourself. We're not going anywhere." Said Morgan. "But our life's work is ruined before our eyes." Said Barbara. "I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do and I'm twenty four. Nice to meet you two." Said Morgan walking away forgetting about their handbook. She went to her room grabbing her bag and the keys heading out. "Dad. I need the help wanted ads." Said Morgan but saw him talking to Otto. She then saw them on the counter near the sink and stuffed it in her bag walking out the door avoiding Otto's vision. Ever since she and Jimmy got out of the grocery store and dropping them off at the door. Jimmy has making excuses for them to be alone together and convinced her dad about his idea. Sure hes a year old than her and graduated early from collage to run the family business with his brilliant ideas to make money but Morgan didnt like him in anyways. Morgan shook the thoughts away and pulled over close to a thrift store. She began looking around the stores asking for hire and managed to apply for five. Later on goin back to her car Morgan dropped her bag and picked it up to find the handbook. Out of curiosity she opened the book and found a card fall on her lap. "Betelgeuse. Bio exorcists. Just call three times." Said Morgan then shrugged it off putting back. She sat in her car reading the whole book until glancing at the time to head home as it was getting almost dark.
Pulling up to their finished driveway Morgan walked in seeing Lydia rushing downstairs with a smile on her face. "Someone's in a good mood." Said Morgan. "We have ghosts." Said Lydia. "Wait you saw them too? Barbara and Adam." Said Morgan. "At least someone here believes me. When did you meet them?" Said Lydia. "This morning but i spotted watching us in the attic when we came here." Said Morgan. "They still want us to leave. Done a bad job at scaring Delia with the moaning and bedsheets. Whats that?" Said Lydia seeing the handbook. "I accidentally took it from them but i read the whole thing. Turns out people who are strange and unusual can see ghosts." Said Morgan. "Can i borrow it?" Said Lydia. "Its not mine but i need to ask them about something." Said Morgan going to the attic. She knocked on the door before going in seeing Barbara dusting and Adam messing with the model. "Barbara. Adam. Heres your book back i forgot i had it." Said Morgan holding it up. "Its fine." Said Adam taking it from her. "Ive read the whole thing and i found a advertising card for bio exorcists." Said Morgan. "Oh yeah. We talked to our case worker Jino and warned us not to summon him. We arent sure why." Said Barbara. "Well i hope you dont continue to kick us out. You dont seem to bother me or Lydia." Said Morgan. "We're ghosts and this is our home." Said Adam. "I get it but we can work something out. Me and Lydia love all things scary and ghost related. Our mom wouldve loved this if she was here." Said Morgan. "Morgan. Phone." Said Lydia from downstairs. Morgan smiled at them before she left to pick up the phone while Lydia passed her upstairs assuming to go to her room. "Morgan Deetz. Great. Uh huh. Sure no problem. Okay thank you. Bye." Said Morgan as her dad stood by. "Who was that?" Said the man. "That the nice restaurant hiring for Bartenders and waitress. I applied earlier and im starting next week for training." Said Morgan. "Its better than being a crime cleaner like Bethany." Said the man. "Or walking in you and Delia roleplays." Said Morgan seeing his facs turn red. "Morgan Abigail Deetz!" Said the man looking at her. "Its not my fault you two are horny rabbits when you think we're not around." Said Morgan going to her room. She closed her door and turned the tv on to a horror movie while she changed into her black sweats and grey shirt.
After an hour Delia opened her door seeing her on the bed reading. "Dinner is ready." Saod Delia then walked away. Morgan walked downstairs to the dining table seeing cooked green pasta with tomato sauce. She took her seat and ate for bit until she saw her parents look at her then Lydia who was in her own world. "What?" Said Morgan after wiping her mouth with a napkin. "We will be having a very special dinner with my boss and Otto. They will be coming here and Jimmy . . . Morgan." Said the man seeing her looked annoyed. "Dad. You are aware how i feel about the walking skeleton that smells like a hospital." Said Morgan. "Its not like you two will be getting married. I already informed Otto about Max " said the man. "Yeah thats helps. Not." Said Morgan. "You should really date someone like Jimmy. Hes a brilliant, sweet, and can really change you." Said Delia. "Excuse me?" Said Morgan. "What your mother means is that? Jimmy help bring out the amazing woman thats hidden underneath the what is it nightsky hair and dark clothes." Said the man. "So like her?" Said Morgan pointing to Delia. "I like being the way i am and mom did too including Lydia." Said Morgan. "Dont bring her up. We need to move to a new chapter. Thats what i want for you two." Said The man. Morgan got up grabbing her plate and drink going upstairs to her room kicking the door shut making a loud slam then sat at her vanity to finish her dinner. She heard the door open and close knowing its Lydia who turned on the tv and put on tape of a horror movie. Lydia laid on her stomach to watch the movie as Morgan turned to see it too and heard something upstairs. "Wait here. Ill be right back." Said Morgan heading to the attic. She opened the door seeing Barbara and the floor then saw a tiny moving figure in the model. "Who's the moldy corpse that looked like a heroine hobo gave birth to?" Said Morgan looking at Beetlejuice. "Hes nothing but trouble is what he is." Saos Barbara. "I dont see it. All i see is a herpe clown that was ran over?" Said Morgan. "Oh Daddy likes." Said Beetlejuice getting in her face. He saw that she was surprised to see an illusion of his face close to hers but was waved off by her hand. "Didnt your case worker Juno warn you about summoning him." Said Morgan as the couple got up. "We really needed his expertise but now we regretted it." Said Adam. "We will take care of it. Go back to what you were doing." Said Barbara leading ehr to the door. "See ya around Babe!" Beetlejuice shouted in a high pitch voice. "Fuck off." Said Morgan as Barbara gently pushed her out and closed the door behind her.
