Luciana drove behind the van to make sure Sarah and the boys were home safely seeing it was a little late. She pulled up in the side of the driveway seeing Ms. Quinn walking outside looking relieved. "Where have you been?" Said Ms. Quinn. "I'm so sorry. Its my fault June. The kids were having a study group in our place and fed them an old family dinner that knocked all of them out." Said Luciana while getting out of the car and walked towards her. "Go get ready for bed." Said June. Sarah and everyone got inside with the lids going upstairs leaving June and Luciana alone in the kitchen. "Want any coffee?" Sais June. "Got any creamer?" Said Luciana standing in front of the island. "Hazelnut. Is that ok?" Said June pulling a bottle out of the fridge. "Yeah. Do you want to talk? I know when a mother is having a bad time." Said Luciana. "Its been hard raising two kids on your own and harding long hours to put a roof over their heads." Said June handing her the coffee. "I get it. When my ex left after my daughter was born. I had to work three jobs as a cashier, waitress, and bartender. Life was never easy but when i saw my daughter made me want to put everything out there for her." Said Luciana before taking a sip. "Thats exactly how i feel and when i try to tell them something or get to know them." Saod June. "Dont pressure them like they are pressuring you. Its not going to be easy. I always caught my daughter sneaking out of her window at night to see her boyfriend and sneak back in before i go to work." Said LucIana. "I dont do that mom." Said a voice.
Luciana pulled out her phone seeing it was on speaker and put it on the counter. "Did i butt dial you again?" Said Luciana. "Yeah. By the way. What can i give Rose for her stomach? She was kept all night throwing up and gotten a fever." Said Maya. "Give her a full can of sprite with a table spoon of cornstarch or make her ginger tea with lemon. As for the fever put a cold rag on her forehead or bath her." Said Luciana. "Will do and Kyle has snapped." Said Maya. "What did he do now?" Said Luciana as June drank her coffee. "He hasnt looked at me or eat together with me and the kids." Said Maya. "But he sleeps in the same bed with you?" Said Luciana. "Yeah but he never cuddled with me." Said Maya. "Lock him out of the house for a week and dont bother answering the phone until he acts like a mad man." Said Luciana. "Oh and make him sleep in the car. Thanks mom." Said Maya before hanging up. "Anyways let the kids come to you. You should relax and have time for yourself or have a girls night." Said Luciana. "That doesnt sound that bad. But we'll see and its getting really late." Said June. "Nice talking to you." Said Luciana walking out of the house. She went to the car to find a man looking in making her reach behind her back for the mini pepper spray she carries all the time. "What are you doing?" Said Luciana catching his attention. The man turned around and smiled while standing in front of her. "Harry? Wow. You really cleaned yourself up. New haircut and scruffy beard." Said Luciana pulling her hand forward to touch his hair and face. "Ive been doing some thinking and decided to make a change for once. I was wondering if you can help me." Said Harry.
"Says the man who is found passed out from smoking way too much weed or eating straight out fo the garbage." Said Luciana getting in the car. Harry went into the car before Luciana could get her keys out. "Im serious. You know how everyone was when they see me in the streets." Said Harry. "Fine. But why do i have a feeling im going to regret this." Said Luciana starting the car and drove to the bus. She parked the car and unlocked the door letting Harry inside to have a seat in the living room area. "Nice place." Said Harry looking around. "Thanks. Me and the gang had to renovate the whole thing while Diane was bawling on my daughter's shoulder." Said Luciana. "Hey i called the truckers to pick up the garbage. Harry?" Said Diane walking into the kitchen seeing them. "Yeah i was shocked too. Now get your water and get some sleep. We have work to do in the morning." Said Luciana pulling up the cushion next to Harry. She took out the pillow and blanket then handed it to Harry as Diane was checking Harry out. Luciana walked to her room shutting off the lights while pulling Diane away by the hair. "You cant be sniffing out men. What if he got a hold of something other than weed?" Said Luciana quietly. "Then why is he here and look like that?" Said Diane. "He wants to start a new life and asked me for help." Said Luciana. "Well he must be stupid. Since when you ever helpful for anyone. You're the devil's little bitch." Said Diane. "You cried for two months after Jake slept around with Patricia. Be lucky that i placed a curse on him. Just wait when he come crawling back that means his pole is not working as it used to on you and the queen of hair extensions." Said Luciana.
Diane looked confused then gasped in shock grabbing her wrist. "Is that why his mother called?" Said Diane. "What she say?" Said Luciana. "He cant stop complaining about the unbearable pain down there since the divorce and is kept on getting tests which the doctors cant find out why." Said Diane. "Your welcome. And i dont let anyone be kissing my ass." Said Luciana before going to her room. She changed into her black tank top and about to put on her shorts as her door opened. "Oh im sorry. I was looking for the bathroom." Said Harry covering his eyes after seeing Luciana in her underwear. "Next door on the right. Now shut the door before i drown you in the toilet." Said Luciana slamming the door in his face. Harry went to the bathroom looking at his reflection grinning before fixing his jacket up a bit. "Im gonna be one lucky man." Said Harry as his dark brown eyes flashed green in the reflection. He washed his face then gone back to the living room setting himself on the sofa and fell asleep.
