"It's funny that you're calling me tonight, and yes, I've dreamt of you too. And does she know you're talking to me? Will it start a fight? No, I don't think she has a clue."

Flashback: 2029, Las Vegas, U.S.A

Jin blinked and kept blinking a few times. He rubbed his eyes to make sure that he was fully awake and not dreaming. He then moved his phone closer to his face, "Is this real or is it fan-made?"

"What?"

He turned his phone towards Namjoon.

"What the fuck?" Namjoon said, his face full of confusion. He snatched the phone from Jin's hand and began reading the news article.

He let his hand fall back to his lap as the sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach grew. "It wasn't true, right? He would never...it was taken out of context like before. Yeah, the media tends to do shit like that, reporting on half-truths and claiming that it came from a credible source," he tried to convince himself, though, he knew it was futile.

"Hyung, I'll be right back," Namjoon said before putting the phone back on his lap.

He watched Namjoon's back disappear from the door before moving his eyes back to his phone. With shaking hands, he tapped on the screen but wasn't surprised at all when he saw that his friend already closed the page he was reading. He was about to flip his phone shut when it started vibrating, he stared at it for a few seconds before tapping on the answer button.

"Where are you?"

He swallowed to clear the lump in his throat, "Yoongi-ah, what pleasant a surprise, you hate calling me," he said a little bit too cheerfully.

"You've seen it already?"

"Seen what?" he asked.

"Fuck," Yoongi cursed. "Where are you right now?"

Jin sighed, he knew Yoongi would catch on, that man knew him too well. "I'm ten thousand miles away from you, fortunately."

"Are you alone?"

"I'm not going to do anything stupid," Jin said. He then paused when he heard the continued clicks on the other line, "Are you playing a game while checking in on me?"

"No, I'm booking a flight."

Jin's eyes widen, obviously taken aback by Yoongi's uncanny response. "Flight? To where?"

"Vegas."

"You don't have to do this, Yoongi-ah, Namjoon is here and—"

"I know but I want to," Yoongi said. "I'll be there tomorrow. Can you at least wait for me before doing something stupid?"

Jin couldn't help but crack a small smile amidst the pang inside his chest. He knew him best and he was already on his way to him. He was and still is his ride-or-die. "What stupid shit do you think I would do?"

"Drinking your heart out in a seedy bar and then bawling your eyes out," Yoongi paused and snickered, "Come to think of it, you'll make the front page, that wouldn't be too bad."

"Fuck you! That ain't happening!"

"Not happening, too, you're not my type," Yoongi laughed, albeit grimly.

"How dare you, Min Yoongi!"

"Tell Namjoon to book me another room or I'll sleep right next to him."

"Fine!"

"Jin?"

"Yeah?" he asked, noticing the sudden change in Yoongi's tone.

"I'm serious. I'll be there as fast as I can so just..." he paused, "...stay still for now."

Jin rested his head on the backrest of his chair and closed his eyes, "I'm sure Namjoon won't even let me out of this room. I think he's already at it."

"Good. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye."

"Safe flight, Yoongi-ah, see you."

Namjoon was pacing back and forth, "Have you lost your mind?" he hissed.

"You've seen it already? That was fast."

Namjoon stopped with a pure look of disbelief on his face. "That was fast? Did you hit your head or something, Jungkook? That was Dispatch, of course, it will be fucking fast!"

"Oh, well."

Namjoon started rubbing his temple, trying to ease the tension that he was feeling right now. He took a few calming breaths before speaking again, being careful with his choice of words. "What is happening here, Jungkook? Why did you do that? You know very well how this would affect Jin. He just lost his grandpa for goodness's sake!"

"I don't see how this would affect Jin when he's enjoying his free time with his-"

"I'm with him right now! What are you saying?" Namjoon hissed.

"H-huh?"

"Yeah, huh!" Namjoon said sarcastically, clearly losing his patience with their youngest. He braced his hand on his waist and took another calming breath, "Did you even think for a second?" he paused and shook his head. "No, I don't think you did. If you did, you could've confirmed what you read by calling Sejin or anyone at BIgHIt and they would've told you. Heck, you could've called me or any of the guys and they would've told you. But no, you decided to believe what you read like an amateur. Way to go, bro."

"Is Jin with you now? Can you tell him that—"

"No," Namjoon said, effectively cutting the other man off. "I'm not going to be your messenger. You made this mess and you will fix this," he paused, "You know I don't take sides, Jungkook, I've proved that so many times. But this time, I'm taking Jin's, he doesn't deserve any of this. Not now, of all times." he said before yanking the phone from his ear and tapping on the screen.

"Yoongi called," Jin said upon sensing Namjoon's presence, "He asked me to tell you to book him a room or he'll sleep right next to you."

"I'm on it."

"You don't seem surprised," he said while his eyes were still closed.

"I'd be more surprised if he didn't come," Namjoon said with a small smile. He stared at this friend's seemingly defeated form for a few seconds before walking towards him. He sat down beside him and haphazardly threw his phone on the coffee table. He then reached out for Jin's hand and gently took the phone away, "What do you want to eat, Hyung? Let's just order in," he said before putting it beside his.

"I was right. You're not letting me out of this room tonight," Jin said. He then opened his eyes and turned his face to the side, meeting Namjoon's gaze, "It wasn't fan-made, isn't it?" he asked even though he already knew the answer.

"He wasn't thinking straight, that's what I'm sure of," Namjoon responded with a sigh.

Jin turned away; his eyes firmly fixed on the ceiling. He didn't want to be vulnerable in front of Namjoon, but fucking hell, that confirmation hurt. He knew that this would happen eventually, he just didn't expect it to arrive at a shitty time. Fuck. "I must've done something in my past life to be this unlucky, Mon-ah," he said with a wry laugh. "I haven't finished grieving for Grandpa and now this. Can't a man have a break?"

Namjoon felt his heart go out to his Hyung. He could still remember vividly how Jin found out that he lost his grandma in the middle of a TV performance and how he still had to smile and dance when his heart was torn into shreds. His Hyung was strong, but everyone has their breaking point. He reached out for Jin's hand and gave it a soft squeeze, "I got you, Hyung, we've got you."

He didn't know how to respond to his dongsaeng's kind words so he just squeezed his hand back and nodded. "I think I want to eat steak," he paused and turned to look at Namjoon, "And wine, lots of it."

"I'll buy you the most expensive ones."

"You're getting paid big bucks now, Kim Namjoon?" he asked with a raised brow.

"Not as much as your last paycheck but it's pretty decent," Namjoon said, quickly latching onto the lightheartedness that Jin was trying to inject into the tense atmosphere. "You're still the richest...well, compared to me and Yoongi-Hyung, at least."

"Nah, Hobi is the richest," Jin snorted, "Have you seen his new dance studio? It's decked up with designer shit all over."

"The towels and hand soap?"

"If Louis Vuitton sold tissue, he would be first in line."

Namjoon shrugged, "He already bought his trashcan, that wouldn't surprise me one bit," he said.

"You're kidding, right?"

"Hell no. Check his recording studio, the orange bin under his desk."

They both stared at each other for a few beats before sniggering.

Yoongi hated flying out internationally and it's mainly because of the ruckus that it creates at the airport. He expected this to die down since they were no longer that active, but much to his chagrin, the media never let up. They still hounded them even when they're alone and more so when they were spotted together. He tried his best to be incognito, but here he is, almost blinded by camera flashes. He waved at the reporters politely before pulling his hoodie over his head and walking briskly towards the exit. "The things I do for you, Kim Seokjin," he mumbled to himself before slipping inside the SUV that was waiting for him.

"How was the flight," Namjoon asked as he raised his hand for a high-five.

Yoongi threw his bag on the floor before bopping Namjoon's hand, "As awful as it can be," he deadpanned.

He walked towards the nearest couch and plopped down, "How's Hyungie?"

"Still sleeping," Namjoon responded.

Yoongi leaned forward and braced his elbows on his knees, "Did you hear from Kook?" he half whispered.

Namjoon cringed. "Yeah, I kinda went crazy on him last night," he admitted.

"That explains why he was burning up my line."

"Didn't you answer?"

Yoongi shook his head, "Nah. I didn't want to end up saying things that I might regret."

"After all of these years, you still can't scold him, huh?"

"Old habits die hard," Yoongi paused, "I wanted to punch him, though."

"I'll hold him for you," Namjoon offered. He then moved to the adjacent seat and sat down, "Tae also called me last night because Hyung wasn't answering. I forgot I switched his phone off because he wouldn't stop looking at those stupid articles. "

"Is Tae also coming?" Yoongi asked curiously. He knew that their second to the youngest had a different bond with their eldest and would easily drop everything for him. He was kind of like him in that aspect.

"He said he would but Jin told him not to because that would surely attract attention. I doubt Tae would listen, though, I wouldn't be surprised if he showed up in a day or two."

"Where is he right now?"

"Mexico."

"Make it a few hours."

"I figured."

Jin woke up with a splitting headache that he needed a minute to fully open his eyes, "Fuck," he groaned.

"Didn't I tell you not to do something stupid last night?"

"Ugh. When did you get here?"

"Long enough that I had to check if you were still breathing," Yoongi replied.

"I'm still alive as you can see," he replied with a chuckle. He then felt something hit his chest, "Ugh! Why are you throwing things at me?"

"Hangover meds. God knows you need that with the number of bottles you drank last night."

"Namjoon-ah was quite generous last night. I couldn't say no."

"I bet," Yoongi snorted, "Tae just arrived and he wants to see you. You should take that because he'd be talking your ears off."

"I told him not to bother. I'll be fine," he replied.

"Hyung?"

Jin forced his eyes open to look at the man standing at the edge of his bed, "Yeah?"

"You're never a bother to any of us, alright?" Yoongi said, emphasizing his words.

He knew that his heart was pretty much shattered at the moment, but he could still feel it exude a bit of warmth upon hearing those words. He was aware that his brothers knew how much he hated putting the burden on other people and he lost count of how many times they assured him that asking them for help was not a burden to them. This was a proof of that. They came to him when he needed them the most, without him having to ask, mind you. If that is not love, he doesn't know what to call it. "Thank you," he mumbled.

"Glad we had that out of the way. Now, be a good Hyung, and spend time with us since we traveled ten thousand miles for you."

And for the first time in weeks, he smiled, "I'll be out in a few minutes."

"Is Jin-Hyung awake?" Tae asked as soon as he saw Yoongi close Jin's door.

"Yeah, he'll be out in a minute," Yoongi responded. He then gestured towards Namjoon who seemed to be tapping away on his phone, "What is he up to now?"

"He was talking to Hobi-Hyung a while ago but I'm not sure," Tae replied. "I spoke to Jimin earlier."

Yoongi shoved his hands inside his pockets as he made his way towards the two men who were sitting on the couch, "Is he coming too?" he asked as he sat down.

"Nah, I asked him to stay there," Tae said. He stretched his long legs out and lifted his arms out, "Can someone tell me why we seem to be living our noob days again?" he asked with a yawn.

"Beats me," Namjoon snorted as he threw his phone to the coffee table, "Hobi is with Jimin now and they're not flying over."

Yoongi nodded, "More media attention is the last thing we need right now," he said. He then turned his gaze towards Tae, "How did you manage to fly here without causing a riot?"

Tae smirked, "A good face mask and a wig," he responded.

"You wore a wig?"

"You should've seen his wig, Hyung, you wouldn't recognize him," Namjoon said with a chuckle.

"It was a gift from a fan," Tae said fondly.

"You bring wigs with you when you travel?" Yoongi asked curiously.

"You don't?" Tae asked.

"Hell no," Both Namjoon and Yoongi said almost at the same time.

Tae stared at his Hyungs, "That's odd," he said thoughtfully.

"What's odd?"

The three men all turned their heads and saw Jin standing behind them. They all noticed that he still looked like his usual handsome self, except his eyes were different, they seemed hollow.

"Hyung!" Tae said as he shot up from his seat. He quickly made his way towards Jin and pulled him into a bearhug, almost lifting the other man's feet from the ground.

Jin couldn't help but laugh. His V-Bear had always been a hugger ever since he was a boy and still is even when he was a full-grown man in his mid-30s'. "You look tanned, Taehyungie. Where have you been hanging out this time?"

Tae pulled away but kept his arm around Jin's waist, an old habit that he never outgrew, "Cancun. I just wrapped up a shooting project there," he responded.

"I hope you didn't wrap it up early just because of me."

Of course, Tae did, but he wouldn't let his Hyung know that. "You're not that special, Hyung," he teased.

Jin knew Tae too well to know that he was lying but he just let it be. Yoongi was right, if they wanted to be there for him, he shouldn't question it or push them away. He smiled and wrapped his arm around the other man's waist and pinched his side playfully, "And here I thought I was special," he joked. He then moved his gaze towards his two other brothers, "Ya! Are you still going to keep me locked up in this room or are we going out to have some fun?"

Seoul, Korea:

Jungkook knew he fucked up. Big time. He knew it the moment he heard Namjoon's voice. That man never loses his cool and has always managed to keep his temper in check. He buried his face into his palm and groaned loudly.

"We're in deep shit, aren't we?"

"Deeper than the Han River. Fuck."

Hanna braced her hands on her waist, her eyes taking in the sad form of her childhood best friend. "Is there a way to fix this? I mean, I can get an interview and tell them I dumped you or you dumped me or something," she suggested.

"That will make it worse," he groaned, frustration evident in his voice.

"Who were you talking to? Was it Jin?"

"No," he responded. He then let his hands fall away from his face and slumped back to the couch, "They wouldn't let me talk to him."

She made her way towards him and nudged him with her foot to move, "Did you try calling him directly?"

He scooted over to make space for her, "He turned his phone off or he blocked me."

"Well, I can't blame him," she responded as she plopped down, "You announced to the world that you're seeing someone else and was planning on getting married. I would've been more surprised if he picked up your call."

"Fuck."

"I thought he was cheating on you that's why I agreed to this, Kook," she sighed, "Did you even have proof?"

He didn't know what to say because he didn't have any. He knew deep down inside that those rumors were just rumors, but his jealousy and possessiveness got the best of him. Ever since Jin started acting, those feelings were amplified tenfold, and he just didn't know how to handle it. He knew it was irrational, but for some reason, his brain couldn't see it. Seeing him with someone else, even if it was just on-screen, always fucked him up mentally.

Jin told him about this project beforehand. He even showed him the script and highlighted some scenes that he knew would make him uncomfortable. He was forthcoming with the details and never hid anything from him. He told him he was okay with it because he was, but that all changed when he saw how beautiful they looked good together. The chemistry was undeniable, they were the perfect match; oh boy, that fucked him up alright. The fans and media made it worse. Even when the show had finished, they just wouldn't let it go. Tons of videos were scattered all over social media and outrageous speculations made by fans were everywhere.

The sightings that were reported weren't true, though, because Jin was actually with him in majority of those. So why did he do it? Why now? He doesn't know. He must've just snapped under the immense stress. That is the only viable explanation for his temporary madness. Years of hiding and repressing who you are tends to do that to people, especially when love is involved. His therapist told him that. Fuck. He should've just booked an appointment instead of going online. Stupid decisions.

"I'll take that as a no," Hanna said. She then lifted her feet to the couch and pulled her knees to her chest, resting her small chin on one knee. "Mom called me and told me they were ecstatic about this."

That got Jungkook's attention. Instantly. His parents knew about his relationship with Jin and expressed full support, but there were still days when his mom was wishful thinking and told him that she wanted to see a grandchild from him before she passed. "What did you tell her?"

"That she shouldn't keep her hopes up because we will soon both realize that we don't like each other like that."

"You're taken off their will again?"

"I'm their only child, who will they put there, our dog?" She huffed.

He cringed, "I wouldn't put it past, Auntie," he paused and stared at her, "I'm really sorry about all of this, Han."

"We should worry about you first and figure out how you will be able to fix this."

"Hobi-Hyung, do we have to do this?" Jimin asked as he watched Hoseok pace back and forth. He braced his arms on the armrest and clasped his hands together, "I don't think Kook is in the right headspace right now to talk."

Hoseok paused and turned towards Jimin, "He isn't or he wouldn't have pulled this stunt."

Jimin sighed for what felt like the hundredth time. When he woke up this morning, he thought he would only have to deal with his problem trainee, but nah, he is now faced with a bigger problem. "I'd rather fly to Vegas if I'm being honest, but Taehyungie asked me to stay here," he admitted.

"Did he go straight there?" Hoseok asked as he made his way to the adjacent chair.

"Yeah, he landed a couple of hours ago. Yoongi-Hyung arrived earlier."

"That was fast," Hoseok observed.

"You know how those two are when it comes to Jin-Hyung," Jimin said. "If Tae didn't ask me to stay, I would've been halfway there by now."

"I know," Hoseok responded. "I was talking to Namjoon-ah before you arrived. I think they're going all out tonight."

"I really should've been there. How's Hyungie?"

Hoseok sighed, "It's hard to tell. He's like a clam, you know?"

"Hard to pry open," Jimin said. He then ran his fingers through his messy hair, "JK's timing sucks. I don't even know why he's doing this."

"That part infuriates me. Why now?" Hoseok asked, frustration evident in his voice. He leaned back on his chair and folded his arms on top of his chest, "Maybe we're missing something here. Is he not dating Hanna? Maybe they're secretly together and he just didn't want to tell us?"

Jimin seemed to ponder Hobi's words, "I didn't think of that, to be honest," he paused, his brows furrowing, "Can feelings change that easily, Hyung? I, myself, couldn't imagine being so in love with someone for years and just stop loving them."

"Same," Hoseok agreed. "Jealousy then? You know how Kook is."

"I think so, combine that with alcohol, and we have a winner."

Las Vegas:

"Hyung, have you seen a burlesque show?" Tae asked while reading the flyer that was handed to them earlier.

Yoongi almost choked on his drink to stifle his laughter.

Jin wiped his mouth with a napkin and placed it back on his lap, "Yep."

"Is it any good?"

"Hold up," Namjoon said, his eyes wide in surprise, "You saw one?"

"Yeah."

"When? What? With who?" Yoongi asked, his curiosity instantly piqued by this new information.

Jin looked at Yoongi and Namjoon who were staring at him with disbelief, "I'm still a man. I can appreciate beautiful women," he stated in a matter-of-factly way.

"Let's go see one tonight, Hyung, my treat," Tae said as he tucked the flyer back into his pocket. He then moved his gaze to his two other brothers who both looked like a fish out of water, "What's up with them?"

"They thought I was gay enough to not want to watch a show full of sexy women dancing apparently," Jin answered nonchalantly.

"Kim Seokjin!" Yoongi hissed.

"We didn't say that and keep your voice low, Hyung!" Namjoon said, his eyes instantly searching the crowd for onlookers.

Jin just rolled his eyes in response.

"We should get the bill and go," Tae suggested, his face full of amusement.

Seoul, Korea:

"I should get going," Hanna said as she grabbed her bag from the table. "Are you sure you're going to be okay here alone?"

"Yeah," Jungkook replied glumly. "I'm sorry again, Han, I really am."

"Pulling yourself together is the best apology, Kook," she said. She threw him a sympathetic smile before making her way towards the door, "You should stop drinking because-"

"JK, open up, it's me! I'm with Hobi-Hyung."

Hanna's eyes widened, "This is not good," she said, panic evident in her voice.

Jungkook stood up from his perch and walked towards the intercom, "I'll take care of it," he said before clicking the unlock button.

The door instantly burst open, "Took you long-oh," Jimin paused, his eyes wide in surprise.

Hoseok shifted his gaze between Jungkook and Hanna, "We didn't know you had company. We can come back some other time," he said as he tugged on Jimin's sleeve.

"No! Please stay," Hanna said. She hastily slipped on her shoes and skirted around the two men standing in the doorway, "I'm on my way out. Err...see you around, Kook," she said before briskly walking away and not even waiting for a response.

Jimin studied his friend's haggard face, "Well, that was a...surprise."

"It's not what you think," Jungkook said quickly.

"We don't have any thoughts," Hoseok said, a little too bitingly.

Jungkook winced, "Err...come on in," he mumbled before turning on his heels and walking away.

Jimin turned his face towards his Hobi-Hyung as he took his shoes off, "You have that look on your face," he said, his voice full of amusement.

"What look?"

"The look you have when you're about to make us repeat the choreo until we pass out."

"I'd love to make him pass out," Hoseok snorted, "But he might cry."

Jimin laughed.

Las Vegas:

The four brothers did end up watching a burlesque show and they all seem to enjoy it. Both Namjoon and Yoongi were particularly surprised at Jin's enthusiasm, which entertained Taehyung to no end.

"That was fun," Jin said as he tapped his keycard on his door.

"The night is not over yet, Hyung," Namjoon said. He then placed his arm around Tae's shoulder and pointed toward the door, "We can continue the party there."

"Sometimes I feel like he was born in the wrong country," Yoongi mused, "Are you sure you're not White, Namjoon-ah?" he teased.

Namjoon pretended to think for a few seconds, "Nah, I love kimchi too much to be White," he said.

Jin snorted as he pushed the door open, "He's too Asian," he said. He took off his jacket and threw it on the table, "What do you want to drink? It's on me," he announced.

"Hyung, can I have white wine?" Tae asked.

"Anything for my Taehyungie," Jin said fondly. He then picked up the phone and stared at the other two, "And you two?"

Yoongi threw Namjoon a look and smirked, "The most expensive shit they have?"

"Easy," Jin said, accepting the challenge.

Seoul, Korea:

"Let me get this straight," Jimin paused and rubbed his temple, "You...I don't even know what to say."

"So, you pretty much hurt him for nothing? Am I getting it right?"

Jungkook lowered his gaze as he could not stand the way his Hyungs were looking at him, "I didn't intentionally hurt him," he mumbled, almost whispering.

"But you did," Hoseok snapped. "My god, Jungkook! Did it even cross your mind that Jin is not in a good place right now? You were there the whole time for goodness's sake!"

The knot inside Jungkook's chest tightened with every word that he heard. He felt his eyes heating up so he bowed his head, trying his best to hide his face. "I—I'm sorry," he muttered shakily.

"Hyung, calm down," Jimin said.

"You should apologize to Jin and not me," Hoseok said. He then closed his eyes and took a deep breath, "This is fucked up."

Jimin hated what Jungkook did, he really did, but looking at how scared and miserable he is right now was tugging at his heartstrings. "Let's all try to calm down, eh?" he said. He placed a hand on Hobi's knee and squeezed it, a clear signal that he would take over the talking, which earned him a curt nod. He moved his eyes back to Jungkook, "JK, bro, look at me," he gently said.

Jungkook slowly lifted his eyes, revealing his tear-stricken face.

Another hard hit on Jimin's chest. He never liked seeing any of his brothers cry, it hurts him and makes him want to punch something. "I need you to be completely honest with us. Can you do that?"

"I've always been honest with you so yeah."

Jimin leaned forward and braced his elbows on his knees, "Are you and Hanna together?"

"No!" Jungkook instantly said. "She's my childhood best friend and nothing else."

Jimin studied the other man's face, trying to see if there was any hint of deception but found none, "And she's aware of this? She's not in love with you?"

"Yes, she is, and no, she's not in love with me," Jungkook answered. He wiped his nose with the sleeve of his jacket and cleared his throat, "I asked for help and she helped me. I dragged her into this. This is all my fault."

Hoseok opened his mouth to speak, but Jimin nudged him with his knee, effectively stopping the other man.

"Okay," Jimin said. "Since we have that cleared up, can you tell us now what prompted you to do what you did? We just want to understand so we can help."

Jungkook took a deep calming breath before he started opening up his feelings to the two men that he knew he could be completely vulnerable with; his safety net.

Las Vegas:

Jin rested his head on the armrest of the couch and tried his best to focus on one spot. They have already finished the first bottle of whiskey and are currently on their second bottle. He had already spilled his guts to his friends and somehow felt a little bit better. He was not okay but at least the heaviness in his chest was more bearable.

"What's your plan now? Are you going to call it quits?"

He turned his face to the side, "He pretty much called it quits," he replied.

Yoongi poured himself another drink, "And you're going down without a fight?"

He snorted, "Fight for what?" He then turned his gaze back to the ceiling and folded his arms on top of his chest, "My pride? Nah."

"I know they're not together," Tae said, "I'm 99.99% sure of that."

"You're missing 0.1%. Where is that?" Namjoon asked with a raised brow.

Tae just shrugged, "I don't know. You can't always be 100% sure of anything, especially feelings."

"Our Taehyungie has matured," Jin said dramatically. "Did I ever tell you I love you, V?"

"Tonight? Like a hundred times, Hyung," Tae said with a chuckle.

"Yep, he's drunk," Yoongi said.

Namjoon nodded, "Dead-ass drunk."

"I heard you!"

"We intended for you to hear it," Yoongi snorted. He relaxed back on the couch, his eyes fixed on Jin, "Are you going to be okay?" he asked.

He was drunk, yes, but he didn't miss the softness in Yoongi's tone. He knew they were worried about him, and he was very much tempted to lie to appease their concern, but he couldn't, not when they traveled this far to be there for him. He turned his head towards them, making sure to meet each of their gaze, showing them a face that he normally hid under a mask. He showed them the real Kim Seokjin. "No, but I will be."

Yoongi's hand tightened around the glass that he was holding. He knew that face; he'd seen it once before. It was the same face that Jin wore when he confessed to his Hyung that he wanted to die. It was a look filled with so much pain and sadness. He opened his mouth to speak but snapped it close when words refused to come out. He clenched his teeth instead and nodded, hoping that his Jin-Hyung could somehow understand his unspoken words.

Jin nodded back as if he received his telepathy.

"We've got you," Namjoon said, "We've got you, Hyung," he repeated, his voice heavily laden with emotion.

Tae just stood up and squeezed himself into the same couch that Jin was lying down on. He lifted the other man's legs and placed it on top of his thighs. He then reached for Jin's hand like he always did and held it tightly, "I love you, Kim Seokjin-Hyung," he said.

"I love you three," Jin half-whispered.

Seoul, Korea:

"Did you at least talk to him about what you were feeling?" Jimin asked.

Jungkook shook his head, "No, I thought I was okay with it," he paused to wipe his nose again, "But it turns out I wasn't. I'm so stupid."

Hoseok let out a loud sigh, "Are you going to tell him all of this?" he asked.

"He won't talk to me. I already tried after I spoke to Namjoon-Hyung but he wouldn't pick up."

"He couldn't. Namjoon-ah took his phone because he wouldn't stop looking at it."

"Now isn't the best time to talk to him," Jimin said, "Give him time."

"What if I couldn't fix this? What if I fucked this up so bad that he won't ever talk to me?" Jungkook paused to clear his throat, "What if he won't forgive me?"

"Then you just have to keep trying until he does," Jimin responded.

Jungkook buried his face into his palms. He sure as hell won't stop trying.

Present: 2030

"Don't be like that," Jin said.

"Like what? I'm just being honest," he responded.

"Are you drunk? Maybe I should've called another time."

Jungkook snorted, "I stopped drinking months ago, Jin," he said. He then leaned forward and braced his elbows on his knees, "I haven't touched alcohol ever since that day."

"That's good for your...err...health," Jin replied. "I've got to go. Let's talk some other time, okay?"

He wouldn't let this go. He refused to. "It's June 4th, you know?"

"Oh? I didn't notice."

"I know you know," he paused, "Can you do me a favor?"

Jin was silent for a few seconds before clearing his throat, "It depends on the favor, I guess."

"Can we, for once, stop lying to ourselves? Just this once, Jin, please?"

"I've always been honest with you. Can we just stop this, please?" Jin said, his frustration evident in his voice. "Your fiancé is there, for goodness' sake. If she hears you say these things she will get upset. I don't want you to fight."

"She knows."

"Knows what?"

"That I love you."

"What-what the fuck are you on about?"

"Moment of truth," Jungkook thought. "She knew from the start, Jin, she knew that I've always been in love with you and we've been together for years."
