Show of Bravery wins a Prince's Heart and Loyalty:
Mulan and Belle just revealed the Yaoguai was in fact Prince Phillip and after seeing this show of bravery from both woman a man in a military uniform addressed them. "hello ladies and man who was just this fearsome beast I'm Prince Li Shang, general in the Emperors army and son of the Emperor. I was just on my way to defeat the beast threatening the people of the empire, but I see you two brave heroes defeated this beast and saved this poor man. I, the emperor, and the whole empire is forever in your debt so might I asked what I can do to pay you back for such heroics".
Belle said, "you can get me supplies for my journey back home because after all of this, I know what I need to do and that is return to the man I love and this woman some medical attention".
Li Shang said, "agreed and what of you sir, what can I do for you".
Phillip asked, "what do you mean, I didn't do anything, I was just rescued".
Li Shang stated "yes but you were trapped in that horrid form for who knows how long and without these two I would've killed you. So, what do you require".
Phillip stated, "I was cursed by Maleficent to be that beast and all I want to wake my true love".
Li Shang proclaimed, "since this is my land, I will guide you through this land and accompany you on your quest for true love".
Mulan stated, "I'll come too".
Phillip stated you'll do that for me; both of you".
Li Shang exclaimed "if that witch cursed you to be apart from true love, then I have to help you reunite with her".
Mulan said, "I agree and if it was not for Belle, I would have killed you as well".
Belle left going back to Rumpelstiltskin and Li Shang, Mulan, and Phillip went to find Aurora. They journey was long and with Li Shang's knowledge of the land and ease of access through the empire by being the Prince, they made it to the abandoned palace and found Princess Aurora asleep. Phillip leaned over her and before he kissed her said "thank you for everything you two have done for me, I would never have found her without you two". Phillip kissed Aurora and awoke her with true loves kiss.
Aurora opened her eyes and exclaimed "Phillip".
Phillip responded "Aurora".
Aurora reminded him "I told you not to come after me". Phillip smiles at this and kisses her again while Mulan and Li Shang leave them alone.
Aurora asks, "how long have I been asleep", she then looks at the ruins around her and continues to ask, "what happened".
Phillip assures her "it doesn't matter. The worst of it is over. Now that were are together, we will restore this castle and our kingdom as we dreamt be here always".
Aurora asked, "where is everyone, why does it need to be rebuilt".
Phillip answered, "Maleficent my love, she cursed a lot and left this place in ruin and the rest fled".
Aurora exclaimed "is there nothing that monster won't do".
Phillip informed her "doesn't matter because we are alive, and we have friends who can help us". Phillip pointed out Li Shang and Mulan and continued to tell Aurora "these two are some of the finest heroes I have ever met and might I introduce to you Li Shang son of the Emperor and general of the Emperors army. This is Mulan and don't ever think that just because she's a woman, that she's not the bravest and most heroic person I have ever met. All three of us have fought many battles together to get to you".
Aurora exclaimed "thanks for saving me and helping him".
Li Shang insisted "I will help you both rebuild, let's go back to my kingdom and get the necessary supplies to restore this magnificent place".
Everyone agreed with the plan and made their way back to the empire, when they made camp that night Aurora noticed Li Shang looking at Mulan and went to talk to him about it. Aurora asked politely "hey you thinking about someone", then she turned to Mulan to let him know that she recognised him staring at Mulan.
Li Shang answered, "well it's just this quest has been on for so long and it's just going to be weird that when it ends, we are not going to be together anymore".
Aurora answers "well I just met you but if Phillip thinks we are all going to be friends, then I'm sur of it but that's no what you were worried about was it".
Li Shang admits "no its just that when this is over am I going to see her again, is she going to leave because I don't want her out of my life".
Aurora suggests "go now, tell her how you feel and see if she feels the same because if she does".
Li Shang asks, "what if I just make a fool of myself".
Aurora informed him "you'll only be a fool if you don't, now go and tell her".
Li Shang breaths deeply and begins to walk away saying "thank you".
Aurora goes back to Phillip and says, "I just think I helped create a new couple".
Phillip told her "of course you did because you like to help people even though you just met them and that is one of the reasons, I love you".
Li Shang walks over to Mulan and says, "I just wanted to say thank you for also coming on this journey".
Mulan states "we did it to help Phillip reunite with Aurora and now they have".
Li Shang says, "I know but I would be remised if I didn't ask you to come back with me because I would like to continue our journey together and not end what we have and let it grow".
Mulan asked, "what do you mean".
Li Shang answered "I would like us to continue together because the time we spent together has been the best time of my life and with this one coming to an end. I would hate for us to end and not spend anymore time together because I really enjoy your company and it would torture me to not have you in my life, especially with the feeling I have developed for you".
Mulan asked, "are you saying that you have developed feeling for me beyond friendship".
Li Shang admitted "yes but if you don't have the same feelings then I understand".
Mulan said, "well I'm shocked to hear this, I never thought someone of your standing would even look at me, let alone see me for the warrior that I am and not a meek, servile, woman who cant do anything just because she is a woman".
Li Shang "I've never seen you like that or would even ask you to be like that because I like you and you are strong, independent, and brave".
Mulan and Li Shang moved closer to kiss which they were observed by Phillip and Aurora and as soon as they kissed, they heard the wind gusting and saw clouds of purple smoke coming towards them. All four tried to run away from it but were all caught by the smoke and transported to Storybrooke where they became Phillip Prince who was dating a woman named Natalie Aurous, and Jin Li Kwon who was married to Mu Lan Kwon.
