Changed by Magic:
Anton after a hard day working in the bean fields went with the Granny's diner for dinner and saw Storybrooke newcomer Ariel and Anton introduced himself "I'm Anton, I was a giant, but I was changed by magic to human sized".
Ariel responded, "I can see that because you look normal".
Anton replied half-heartedly answered "yeah".
Ariel told him "don't feel like I'm judging you, I was also changed by magic, see this bracelet it gives me my legs; without it I would have a tail and wouldn't walk on dry land because I'm a mermaid.
Anton asked, "what are you doing here in Storybrooke".
Ariel responded, "I got a call from the Evil Queen who believed she could trust me because I'm apparently a story in this world and offered me legs and a place in Storybrooke if I did something for her".
Anton answered "yes apparently that is a thing is this land and it's weird everyone thinks so, but some peoples story doesn't go exactly to the stories. Look at Will and Belle; he was a merry man, and she was the Beauty in Beauty and the Beast, but they ended up together when she was meant to be with the Beast or Rumpelstiltskin, and he was just a merry man, but they are together".
Ariel asked, "what was my story like".
Anton responded, "well you were supposed to lose your voice and marry a prince that you saved from drowning".
Ariel informed him "I already ran into Eric who I did save from drowning, but I never met him or lost my voice, I was going to go to a ball he held but I got cold feet" she the correct herself "so to speak and I never went but now he has already found love with a normal woman.
Anton reminded her "well it's not gospel, it's just a version of our lives. We get to make our own choices".
Ariel asked, "how did you get here Anton".
Anton answered, "I was captured, turned this size all so I could grow magic beans for the Evil Queen and her mother Cora Rose, but I now grow them with the help of the Dwarves for the good of Storybrooke".
Ariel replied, "well I have never had any need for magic beans because as a mermaid I have the ability to travel realms, but your way allows many people to go and not just by myself".
Anton said, "yeah and I'm happy too because everyone here is so nice and accepted me for who I was. It's nice to be around so many nice people after spending so much time alone and with no one.
Ariel agreed "yeah, I've been here only a short while and I can already seen that everyone here is so nice and have no care about who you are, they see you for the person that you are. Ariel Continued "have you met anyone special to you yet, since you got here".
Anton answered, "no I haven't had a lot of time for that since I've been working so hard".
Ariel suggested "since I'm brand new here and you haven't had a lot of time to see the sights of Storybrooke how about we go together".
Anton asked, "you sure because I don't know a lot about the town yet, I'm still new".
Ariel stated, "that's perfect because why would I want to go with someone who already knows everything, when I can experience it together with someone who hasn't".
Anton thought about it and said, "that's actually smart".
Ariel replied, "that's because I am and you and me are both alike, we are only here because we have been changed by magic".
