"Self-conflict begins with the soul,"

Chapter 31

The battle of everlasting twilight dazzled, Issei who was just confused looking at the problem. These weren't an angel and a devil having an argument or a petty disagreement, these were two forces of nature dominating for the will of a God of war. He hated that about them both, they would constantly fight, and they did not care nor intervene to help who they dwelled within. It appeared they only cared about the conflict.

Maybe he could ask for help.

"Hey Que you and your brother fought like this right, did you ever find any middle ground," Issei asked hoping for the right answer.

"I don't know, you tell me, I ended up trapped in stone for trillions of years," Que said.

Issei didn't know what to think, or how to stop these two beings of light and dark fighting. He could tell by their non-stop onslaught and brutal attacks, that there is only room for one. Issei would have to take a different approach to this strange situation.

"So Que these two have been fighting for how long?" Issei asked.

"Ever since they were both put into Sanguinius. Be careful to speak to them, entities like them tend a hold a superiority complex," Que warned. The young teen walked forward, his steps showing great pride and strength. The more he approaches them, the stronger the feeling of getting pushed back every second due to how powerful their attacks are. Issei would not let a friend fall.

"HEY!" Issei called out but his voice couldn't reach the storms of battle that the two made. Issei moved closer reaching the danger zone where a simple missed attack could hit his morsel.

"HEY! YOU GUYS NEED TO CUT IT OUT," Issei yelled. Yet the two would not listen. All that mattered to their existence was this battle, to see who the victor would be. Issei could see this was leading nowhere, he would have more luck with a brick wall.

The young teen closed his eyes and let his Shadow armor take over. Every time he used this ability, it was starting to become easier for him. The armour would always hold his body tightly and yet it was never uncomfortable.

The shadows began to talk in his ears, though the distant sound of someone crying almost broke his attention from his objective. The two stopped fighting, seeing they needed to stop the red thirst from overtaking Sanguinius completely.

"Make them listen to me," Issei ordered the darkness around him. Without any rhyme or reason, black tendrils shot up from the ground, enveloping the two great entities of light and dark, holding them back from attacking the other. They looked to be extremely confused at what had just happened.

"What manner of trickery is this, shade!" The light being shouted.

"It was not my doing, these shadows do not belong to me," The Dark monster yelled. They both started to struggle even more, ignoring the one who did cause this; almost like they couldn't comprehend his presence. Issei rolled his eyes and stood with his hands on his hips.

"Hey right over here!" Issei called out. The two great powers turned to see Issei standing in front of them. They both wore perplexed expressions as if they were at a loss for words. Issei could tell the lack of communication would cause some strife.

"Okay uh, hey there, look listen I know you two are doing something important but could I ask what's going on here?" Issei asked trying to not sound awkward but failing at it. The two were simply confused at how Issei was here. Though the one of light answers his question.

"I do not know how you got here intruder but let me inform you, that I am seeking control over this body to give it a bright light," The Light creature said. This earned a scoff from the shade.

"How dare you make such a claim, If you took over, it would be absolute justice for the world, making the world unforgiving and cold, until you force everyone to be right!" The shade spat out.

"Like you are one to act so innocent, all you would do is dwell in stagnation while lusting over anything that walked," The Light yelled.

"I offer freedom from the world, do not blame me for how the universe works!" The Shade yelled. The two started to bicker to no end, leaving a confused Issei who scratched his head, thinking about what to do.

"Wait how did you even get here?" Issei asked. They stopped fighting and faced Issei, still locked in their shadow binds.

"Listen, human, free me and I shall tell you everything," The Shade said. Issei could tell it was a bad deal by the way Shade spoke. Not to mention he could feel the blood lust from both of them. These two were still wanting to fight each other and Issei wouldn't allow that. The light's eyes widened at Issei showing that it recognized him.

"Wait a minute you're that Issei boy, the one that has our host all acting up. Listen to me child let me out now," The Light yelled. Issei ignored that comment about how he was affecting Sanguinius.

"No, you tell me everything NOW! Issei demand. The shade scoffed but after a moment of silence, they realized that these binds were unbreakable but they could feel a greater presence in the room beside this human. It was as if a black hole was staring at them. The void was no longer their friend but a prison. The light thought for a moment about its existence when a greater being took them both away and placed them here.

"Fine I will speak,' The Light said in a begrudging tone of voice. Issei nodded and waited for them to talk.

"You ask how we were placed here, In an age where the old gods were devoured by the prince of pleasure, we remaining great lights fled from the ruinous power and went into hiding. We waited for anything to change so we could return," The Light said. The room was filled with starlight when The light spoke. It was dazzling to watch.

"In our time of waiting we were approached by a grand human, claiming to be the Emperor of Mankind." The shade answered. Issei's eyes lit up when hearing his name, of course, he would have some part in this.

"What did he do?" Issei asked. Thinking it was some twisted deal he made or forced onto these two.

"In our time of great anguish, he offered us a choice, to live in vessels for his children to give them power, so we can have avatars and fight against the dark gods," The Light said. The room was filled with constellations that shaped the Matriarch that Issei knew.

"Each of us took the deal, forming what you know as a Matriarch, Well technically we would have been called Primarchs but due to some miss steps from their father, the vessel became female, instead of male," The shade said with interest. Issei felt as if he dodged a major bullet and thanked the universe that the accident had happened. However, a question popped into his mind after that.

"So wait, why are you guys fighting to control Sanguinius?" Issei asked.

"If you couldn't tell, it is what was meant for only one of us, that is why we fight to gain control so I can bring light to this world," The Light said. "So please let me go, and let me finish this cretin off, so Sanguinius can live a better life and be rid of the red thirst." The light begged.

Issei's eyes widened at the answer, here it was the solution to his problem. Though he was a bit surprised that the being of light knew what he wanted.

"Why do you look surprised? Isn't that what you wanted?" The Light asked, trying to tempt him into doing the right thing. Issei answered with some thought.

"No don't listen to him, if you allow him to destroy me, the Sanguinius you know will cease to exist, I'm what gives her emotions and strengths, killing me would make her a soulless automaton!" The shade yelled. Issei was welcomed to the site of a cold and unforgiving angel that tore away at the innocent for minor crimes. She looked angelic but stood upon a mountain of skulls.

"I promise if you release me and allow me to finish this fight, I can show her how to control the red thirst!" The shade begged.

"No, if you do that she'll be a monster that craves flesh and blood, butchering anything that comes near her!" The Light said, showing Issei a vision of a Sanguninius lost in the red thirst, while rivers of blood flowed around her.

Issei was conflicted about what to do. Each choice had its downfall, but he wouldn't allow Sanguinius to be stripped of her identity. He refused to rob Sanguinius of her beautiful smile.

"Listen to me, child!"

"No, understand me!"

The beings of light and dark began to shout and scream to no end, begging Issei to let them out. He wonders what to do. Cure her but destroy her personality and mind. Issei knew that talking to them to hopefully negotiate a middle ground seemed impossible. These two were hell-bent on killing each other. And if it were true that only one could rule, was giving them control and even the right choice? All this endless argument was giving him a headache. He controlled the shadows to bind their many mouths. Soon he was gifted with the silence of the two beings.

Before he could say anything the sound of crying caught his attention. He turned around to see a figure hunched over lying on the cold black ground. His head tilted trying to make sense of who that was.

Issei faced the light and one of the black tendrils uncovered its mouth. Issei gazed at the ethereal being, his look demanding an answer.

"Let me go," The Light cried out.

"What is that?" Issei asked. The Light struggled, though knew it was in vain. It quickly ceased.

"Fine, that would be the weeping girl who keeps asking us to stop," Light answered. The shadows immediately gagged him again. Issei slowly walked towards the being, making sure he would not be caught off guard. His armor slowly came off, vanishing into the shadows. He wanted to make himself more approachable. The closer he got the more he could hear the great sorrow that came from this woman.

"Wait, she sounds familiar," Issei thought. It was a beautiful voice that was producing these cries. Now fully moving toward the being, his vision could make out who it was.

Issei's eyes widen in surprise as he sees Sanguinius hunched over her knees crying in pain. Her hands were soaked in blood, the beautiful features that were once on her face were replaced with a pale vampiric visage; her teeth sharpened to a point. Her canines were longer in appearance, and her beautiful blue eyes were replaced, glowing with the shade of deep red blood.

"Que, what am I looking at?" Issei asked.

"That would be the real Sanguinius, that is her self-conscience, locked away in her mind, I guess when you fought you threw your consciousness here," Que said.

Issei was surprised but then it dawned on his mind, the way she was crying, she must have been trying to get these two to stop fighting. She probably failed at her task and gave up. No wonder she was crying on her knees. Issei stood and gripped his fist, feeling lost in this situation. He was not alone and he would not choose any of the choices that were given to them. Not when all of them lead to some horrible damnation of Sanguinius.

"Que I need help… what do I do?" Issei asked.

"Use your imagination," Que said. Issei knew Que wasn't being rude, but wanted him to figure it out. Slowly he reached out looking at his hand. His mind flashbacks to the moment that he gave Magnus her eye. In his mind, he couldn't do anything, so how would he cure the red thirst? Issei let out a soft laugh as a strange idea came to mind.

"Aw, man, if Konrad or Angron find out about this, I'm so dead," Issei said.

Sanguinius lay on the ground, a tired mess, trying to find any way to save herself, though after what happened in the waking world she finally gave up. After hurting Issei, a person whom she treasured. She refused to think of the worst that happened after the fight. That she possibly killed him and betrayed him.

Sanguinius held herself tight trying not to break, then snapped out of her sad daze. She could hear the steps of someone approaching her. It was then that Sanguinius knew who this person was.

Issei ran towards the cowering angel as he knelt by her side. He held her giant hand with a firm grip trying to make her see him. Sanguinius dared not to turn her head towards him, for she shook in worry just by his very presence, not wanting to hurt him anymore. She was happy that Issei was alive but wanted him to stay far away from her.

"You should not be here Issei." Sanguinius cried woefully in a shaking voice. "I can't control myself so run, get away from me, please!" She yelled. Issei knew the pain that she went through. He would not leave. In his eyes, there was no greater crime than turning your back on a friend in need.

Issei didn't not to take his eyes off her for a second. He wouldn't move from his spot. Issei held on tighter.

"Issei you must let go, you should be happy, You have Konrad, you have Angron you have the others!" Sanguinius yelled in sorrow.

"Why must you have me, go leave me and be happy, fulfill your cause to the others!" Sanguinius begged with her breath shaking her teeth. Issei didn't have a plan. To say that would be awful, but they had each other and if he was going to do anything, he would protect Sanguinius. Issei had a red blush on his face knowing what he had to do next.

Issei was silenced by the angel's words.

"Go please forget about me," Sanguinius tried to speak but was cut off as Issei used his one hand to forcefully turn her head towards him. Issei slammed his lips against hers delivering a powerful passionate kiss. Issei used the shadows to enter her mind and speak to her very essence. The kiss was so powerful that Sanguinius could only concentrate on that. She could feel that burning passion to protect every inch of her, and it melted her heart.

The angel looked stunned by the action as Issei while he gazed into her eyes. They soon parted leaving a star-struck angel. Issei had a bright red blush and wiped his mouth finding it was a bit sloppy. His young hormones were acting up like crazy. Now that the shadows were there it was time for him to make his case, which he was not looking forward to.

"You and the others are my cause." Issei commands in a strong voice. "I know what you need, so I will give you it," Issei said as he ripped off his red shirt showing his lean yet slightly muscular body.

"Take it," Issei commands again. The blood was going to do one thing, satisfy the curse once and for all.

Sanguinius had a Predatory look in her eyes. She stared right at him, she opened her mouth and sunk her sharp teeth into Issei's shoulder. Crimson blood flowed down his chest. Tears leaked from her eyes as she bit into him. Her sorrowful screams were muffled by Issei's flesh.

Issei held her neck as he was close enough to whisper to her.

"It's alright Sanguinius, please take as much as you want, it's all for you." He whispered as Sanguinius sucked the blood within him; like chomping on ripe fruit. Issei whispered one more time in her ear.

"I care for your happiness, no one should suffer like that, especially one with a pretty face," Issei said only showing joy, he didn't know why he said that it was an involuntary reaction, Sanguinius was such a fair and nice person that it was like a dream to say it. It was like seeing a famous person and screaming out your heart for them.

He hugged Sanguinius which allowed her more access to his vital veins. Issei closed his eyes and smiled as he gripped Sanguinius's neck more.

"Blackout," He whispered. The shadows that flowed in her veins began to burn and swirl around in the blood. That same blue glow shined in the back of her mouth. Issei smiled knowing that color all too well, when he met Angron for the first time.

Light and Shade were still warped in the shadows trying to free themselves, yet they couldn't escape. They both suspected that the shadows were something more. These great black tendrils belonged to someone else. The shade knew of this type of shadow manipulation, but he thought it was a myth, even amongst his kind. The light had heard of atrocities by this certain creator of darkness.

"You two seem to be in a runt, today or always," Que said.

A mass of black slowly erupts from the colorless floor, like a master sculptor practicing his craft. The mass squished and flattened to make itself a body. Now in front of the two caged gods was a giant being that stood over thirty feet tall, cloaked in eternal darkness. The sound of endless whispers hummed around this force of nature.

"You, you, you're real!" The Light said in utter disbelief at what it was seeing. Even the shade hadn't spoken out of respect, comparable to a peasant, waiting for the king to introduce himself.

"I would say you two have been fighting forever, and I understand you represent the greatest thing about humans, inner conflict. You, light, represent bright, optimistic, steadfast ideas. Yet can be so blindsided to take optimal routes." Que said, now turning his attention to the shade who flinched just at the way he looked at him.

"And you, shade, are the passion, emotion, and happiness of humanity, and yet you can also represent the other downfalls such as lust, anger, and pure madness. Yet without you, there could be no questioning." Que said and paced around the two. He circled them like a shark attracted to prey. It was then Light spoke up.

"How dare you, question us, where were you when we needed you the most, where were you when the Eldar God was eaten by the prince of pleasure, where were you during the war of heaven when all seemed lost!" The Light yelled in a self-righteous manner. Que shook his head in disagreement and flexed his chest.

"You can't see my duty to all creation was bestowed upon me greater forces I didn't involve myself because I knew creation wasn't even at risk, and if you think my duty is just to your small little universe, then I laugh at you, I work tirelessly on the infinite multi-verse scale. During the war in Heaven, I would never step in. Times were more problematic before I and my brother had our little disagreement, and we were tasked with the greatest duty in all existence. We were at the edge of existence there to end the Nevermore. Now you're probably asking who they were. In truth, they were being made of non-existence. Can you imagine that? Well, I'll tell you the short version. If my brother wasn't there to save me, all of reality would have been destroyed." Que said in a tired tone of voice.

The two glanced at each other with pure confusion. It was like they were getting a lecture.

"Why are you telling us this?" The Shade said.

"Because you two are going to be spending a lot more time together after this, and it is important to know that just because the other person is completely different from you, doesn't mean you can't learn something," Que said now standing right in front of them. He continued to make an object of shadow in his palm. He made a ball and tossed it from left to right as a way to fidget, almost as if he was bored of them already.

"You know, you did drive that poor girl mad with your constant bickering. It was starting to get old, but my boy's got a heck of a soft spot for broken things. Goodbye." Que said, slowly stepping back from them and gently tossing the ball he fabricated towards the pair. It lay between them until it swirled out of control and turned into a great typhoon made of blue flame and shadow. The two were at a loss for words as the vortex sucked them up. The light and Shade became unrecognizable as they were fusing. In the middle of this tornado, a glowing red orb appears. Que smiled at the site, when Issei had the curse inside of him, The maker of darkness despised many of the curse-cheap powers but he couldn't help but address one. It was floating around the void for so long that he had to do something with it. A hacked arm with a copy of one of the most powerful weapons couldn't just go to waste and Que had much bigger power in store for Issei.

"Well, you did do many great things Ddraig. but I wonder how much good even a cheap imitation of you could do for someone like her." Que thought. This was a better time for his use.

The light turned bright white, and the shade blended into a black color with a hint of dark red. The two bands spun out of control until they formed something new. This world was no longer white or black. Now grey twilight illuminated this world. Above the sky a giant yin and yang calmly sat, swirling with a calm crimson tint. Que had to let out a soft chuckle at the site.

"You know humans do have a tendency for confrontation, but that conflict is always the precursor to something greater, something that any human can achieve, and that is balance my friends." Que smiled and began to fade away. Waving goodbye while the sound of peace emanated.

Sanguinius was still suckling down upon Issei's shoulder trying to satisfy her urge. Something felt wrong. Her eyes snapped open, and her mouth slowly let go of Issei. She felt that urge inside of her fade away. Not just subside and wait for next time, but that one key thing about her was gone. She no longer tasted the sweet flavor of blood but now it became a sour metal taste. Issei, who was still hanging on to the Matriarch with little strength, gazed up at her.

"Are you good, because I don't think I can give you another drink after this," Issei said as his delirium-induced blood loss took hold.

She was free, looking down at Issei with starry eyes. Her heart skipped a beat, and the smile she wore broke down into a sad frown as her eyes balled with tears of joy. The kindness that was given to her today was beyond anything she could repay. The amount of freedom she felt brought her to a new state of mind.

She hugged Issei, clapping him closer to her armored bosom. Issei would have blushed if he hadn't lost so much blood.

"Why? Why did you do this? I do not deserve such mercy, after everything I did to you..." Sanguinius murmured. feeling that this exit was too easy after all the ordeals that happened because of this flaw of hers. Issei, who was still weak after everything that happened, put his mouth close to her ear and nuzzled his head into her own, making her shiver in delight at the feeling of his soft hair.

"Don't worry about it Sanguinius. I'm not mad at you. I know how it feels to be alone. You suffered for so long. So please do me a favor and just enjoy what you are now." Issei said as he could feel his waking up in the outside world. The cause was unknown but now he had to leave. He slowly faded away from Sanguinius. She didn't want him to go, right now all she wanted was for him to stay. Sanguinius knew how selfish that was, but she still reached out for his fading body. Before she could touch him, he slowly vanished.

"Sweet dreams Sanguinius~," Issei's final words. Sanguinius held a hand over her chest, feeling it beat with such vigor at the comment.

Now Issei was out of her mind and yet still in her heart. Sanguinius sat on her knees and held the grey floor under her. She gazes at her surroundings, thinking of what Horus had said. She gave a humorous snicker.

"I guess these are really strange times," She said wiping his blood from her mouth. She looked at it for a prolonged time and smiled at it.

"Issei!" She gently cried out. Sanguinius's body began to glow in a white light. She smiled looking down at herself. Her time in the world was coming to an end. She lay down and waited for whatever came next. Before she could close her eyes, She caught a glimpse of someone standing from afar. Giving her a kind Smile. though all Sanguinius saw was a being of great shadows.

"Take care of my boy," Que spoke.

Vulkan had watched over Sanguinius' body with such diligence that she didn't even blink. She was in charge of this situation. Unfortunately, Sanguinius wasn't held down by any chains, and if she were to wake again then it was up to Vulkan to subdue her again. She would do anything to help Issei, to her that boy has been through enough. She held her hammer tight and narrowed her eyes.

She truly wonders how her sister suffered such pain through all these years, waiting to turn into a monster. Vulkan let out a soft sad sniffle, wanting her sister back. With a heavy heart, she would protect everyone.

Then in a great big flash of holy white light, so bright it was comparable to the sun, she was blinded and flung back, hitting the stone wall. Her vision was blurry from the flash, but her fast healing was able to recover her vision. Vulkan slowly looked up to see something entirely new, so unexpected that it made her jaw drop.

"Hello, Vulkan," Sanguinius said, in a happy tone of voice.

"Sanguinius!" She said in shock, "You look…. different."

Issei finally woke from his long rest. he was hit with a heavy migraine and covered his eyes. He groaned in pain but slowly pulled himself together. No real damage had been done to him but he sure did feel like he slept on something wrong.

"Uh, my head~," Issei said, rubbing his hair. He gazed at the stone bed he was sitting upon. "How long was I out?"

"About two days." The Lion's voice said, her voice slicing through the peaceful atmosphere.

When Issei spoke he felt a wave of death wash over him, while the burning feeling of The Lion's eyes was set on him. Slowly he turned to his left side. Watching him were Mortarion and The Lion, both of them were just studying Issei. He could tell they weren't hateful glares but they were more looks of curiosity, and that's what made him nervous. The last time someone stared at him like that he had to fight Fulgrim.

He took a nervous gulp and waved at the two. "Uh hey"

They simply nodded at him in a calm, polite manner, with nothing rude or vicious about their behavior. He was going to ask what he was doing here but the question didn't leave his throat when he felt another presence. It was cold and metal.

"The subject is conscious at this hour, and has already given an awkward greeting to my sisters, watching for further development," Perturabo said as she was on the other side of the stone slab, holding a holographic tablet and taking notes. Issei jumped at how close Perturabo was.

"Oh my god!" Issei panicked. he was scrambling farther away from her cold stare. The sudden closeness startled him.

"Ah Don't sneak up on me like that!" Issei said. Perturabo's cold scrutinising gaze didn't break nor waver. She simply typed more on her pad and checked the vitals on her systems.

"The subject does appear startled by my sudden appearance so his vitals are proving normal. He seems to be in disarray, now giving him water to see what happens next." Perturabo said, setting a bowl on the table and scooting it closer to him. Issei had a confused look and glanced at the other two who were in the room for an answer.

"I would relax little pawn, Perturabo has taken it upon herself to study and understand your strange and unique properties, but I say your safety is under minimum threat," Mortarion said. Issei was about to ask what that meant but his ears caught on to the more concerning nickname that she called him.

"What did you call me?" Issei said. He remembers telling the matriarchs of his ordeal, but he never told him what devil pieces were inside of him. The pawn pieces were what was used to resurrect him as a devil. His eyes latched onto behind them to see his phone. Issei took a nervous gulp and stared at the two in shock.

"What are you two doing with my phone?" Issei asked in a scared tone of voice. Mortarion and The Lion both were a bit uncomfortable, knowing that they had purposely pried into his personal life. Though they would be honest with the boy, with no lies or deceit, they were better than those devils.

"Issei during your comatose state, we took it upon ourselves to look into your matters to see if there is any suspicious behavior, we did not find anything and are disappointed that we did not believe you the first time around." The Lion said in a strict voice, making it sound like it was only business. "Though a disturbing amount of lewd images was not fun to look at."

Issei blushed and felt a sense of anger boil inside of him. Perturabo began to write down his reaction to the two. The Lion found it comical that a boy who held the power of the infinite was so shy when someone revealed his dirty laundry.

"What the heck guys!" He yelled. Both of them knew this was coming and decided to face fair punishment.

"Issei if you are displeased with our actions, then you may challenge us to duels if it so satisfies your honor." The Lion said. Issei's jaw dropped at the words after fighting Fulgrim he would never fight a Matriarch again. It was like fighting a god of war, hell he would rather fight ten Vail than them.

"Hey that's okay just don't tell anyone about it!" He said in a blabbering, scared manner. After seeing some of the matriarch's campaigns in Sanguinius' Mind, it made him think twice. The Lion and Mortarion both found his attitude to be strange. They did understand wanting to fight them would be a bit intimidating, even if he did not know of their reputation. Issei quickly had a concern pop into his mind.

"How's Sanguinius, is she alright?" Issei asked. They all were silent at the question. The Lion wonders how Issei could be so forgiving of them. Mortarion wondered the same, to her passion like that was a weakness, but if being like him was so enduring, it had to be giving him some strengths.

"She is still unconscious and being watched over. I wouldn't worry about her too much, we're meant to take damage," Perturabo said. Issei lowered his head in disappointment, he was hoping his effects in the dream world would have done something by now.

"I hope she is okay," Issei said. "It must have been hard for her to carry that horrible burden with her."

All of them couldn't agree more, Mortarion still found a way to blame the emperor for this. It's what drove her mad knowing that the emperor could have intentionally given them flaws.

"Speaking of now, could you tell me if your world has a real working Gundam? I've found the idea of them fascinating," She said, making Issei's eyes light up with joy.

"That subject will have to wait. Perturabo please step away from the boy." All of them turned to the entrance to see Alpharius who looked to be extremely beaten up, her helmet completely gone, allowing Issei to see her face. She held her spear in her hand and stared at bloody daggers right at Issei. Though none of the Matriarchs stepped away from Issei, finding her presence to be extremely hostile.

"What are you doing here?" The Lion asked in a strict tone of voice. That commanding presence made her hold her spear tighter. Perturabo wonders the same, she was here a moment to go to check on the force field around Issei. Perturabo explained to Alpharius that the shield needed to be given a break, a prolonged use could cause an explosion, and then she quickly left to go check on Russ. So why was she here now?

Issei's eyes soon turned into horror as he realized something.

"Hey, guys, that's not Alpharius!" Issei said in a panic. All of them turned their heads toward Issei, shocked at such a ridiculous calm. However, this ridiculous claim was soon answered by mad laughter from Alpharius.

"Oh, you are such a riot!" Alpharius said, actually wiping away a tear from her mad laughter. "I can't believe it."

The Lion glared at Issei, annoyed.

"How dare you say such a-"

"I can't believe you figured it out, I don't know how but it certainly is amazing, this long grueling game I played for so long, only for it to be dismantled by you! I bow my head in respect to you. I'm not here to cause you any harm, I'm here to stop the other one who's here..." Alpharius, or the real person, Omegon, spoke.

"I am Alpharius. That is a lie."

"Protect me from what!" Issei said. Omegon smiled and collapsed on the ground, showing that behind her back, thousands of blades stabbed into her flesh.

"From Hydra Dominatus…" Omegon said. finally passing out from her wounds, though deep in the shadows behind them, another watched with its spear, ready to stab at the right moment. like a snake in the grass, she was waiting to strike its prey at the right moment.

"I am Alpharius, and this is how Issei shall end." Alpharius thought while getting ready to strike.

While in her mind the plan, for all this madness to the end, A swift hand by Alpharius...She was Alpharius… Alpharius made her final master plan with each step ending in this event. The only thing now was to wait.

Also hoped you liked the little foreshadowing I did there, So I hoped you guys enjoyed this week's chapter, This was, really fun to write, and also that Omrgon and Alpharius are going to be explained next chapter. Honestly writing about those two and their schemes is always the best. Now some of you have asked important questions and the answer to many of them is yes..., I'm just kidding, I'll answer some right now.

1. Yes Issei will get new clothes soon.

2. Were approaching the Xenos and fighting some big names.

3. The Imperium is very close to finding them.

4. And I think we all know where the angel is.

5. only one person answered the voice acting question but dang did they give such a good choice, Katee Sakhoff as Icarion, Is so good.

Anyway, I'm gonna try and work on three stories for you guys to enjoy, legends of Ten, the Reaction fic, and most importantly the next chapter of Human Touch. So I'll try and get those up fast right now it's been a little crazy with work and college coming up so yeah, I'll do my best. You guys have a great day and see you next time. I still can't believe we made it to chapter 31, I still think it's crazy.
