A life fact for this story, Bloodborne is fun.

Chapter 41

Red Dragon matriarch vs The Angel of Destruction

Issei stared out the window coldly, his breath skipping with a hitch. He could feel a powerful aura radiating far away with a nostalgic red shining at them.

To Issei, all he could see over the horizon was a rising red sun. He gulped nervously he had never seen the power of a red dragon being used to boost a person this powerful before. Lorgar could feel it as well and it made her tremble. She hadn't felt like this since her fight with the curse.

"Issei what is happening?" Lorgar asked, seeing how entranced the young man was.

"I'm seeing someone who is miles ahead of me with an ultimate power that I wield, gosh she is a fast learner," Issei said in awe.

Sanguinius glances at the Angel who flew above her. She glanced down at the weapon in her hand.

"Are you ready, Baal?" Sanguinius asked her companion.

"Of course my master!" Baal chirped. Sanguinius felt joyful to know she had someone watching over her. "Remember don't push yourself, even though you could reach a balance breaker right now it's best you slowly transition to it,"

"I understand but I believe we must push ourselves in this battle!" She said with great enthusiasm. This was the first time she oddly felt strong. This was beyond her limit and she knew that it was boundless.

"Don't worry Baal, I should be able to take her down without such a power-up! In Issei's words, this chump has nothing on us," Sanguinius said with a smirk. This was her time to show the world who she was, no longer the one held back by her craving for blood but a mighty unstoppable warrior.

Sanguinius stood with the radiance of red and gold by her side. However, it was her sister's utter shock at the thing Sanguinius wore.

"Sanguinius what the bloody hell is that on your wrist!" Russ yelled. She felt a sense of rage within her, there was only one reason this happened and it was because of that boy. Breaking the moment, making Sanguinius gaze at her. Quickly she had forgotten that her family was there.

"Oh Apologies this is my sacred gear, a divine weapon that can boost my power infinitely, Oh I'm sure you all remember when Issei told us of it," Sanguinius said with a smirk.

"I don't remember the part of the story where Issei gave you the weapon in the first place! I thought he said he lost!" Russ yelled in disbelief. Sanguinius let out a tired sigh and pinched the bridge of her nose. Even in this tense situation, the family came first.

"It's a long story," She said.

Sanguinius glanced up only to see the Angel of destruction come down upon her. The sword of fire inches from her face. The other Matriarchs who watched the battle wanted to help, They wanted to step in to fight. However, Sanguinius was already there to face her great foe.

Tossing a hard punch to the Angel's side making her grunt in pain but not taking her down. The two danced with each other in combat. They fought in a blur of movements, Sanguinius ducked under a sword thrust that almost sliced off her head. Ducking under the attack and uttered her breath one word.

"Boost!" The words echoed throughout the area. Sanguinius felt stronger than ever and had the speed to match it.

Then a right hook was sent to The Angel's stomach. Making the warrior cough up a mist of blood while being launched a mile away. The Angel used her wings to fly up in the air instead of crashing on the floor.

"Hmph, such power that hit had more strength than the last one," She wiped the blood off her cheek.

"That weapon is slowly increasing your strength every time you say a boost, interesting however it will make little to no difference to win," The Angel said. She quickly zoomed at Sanguinius with astounding speed. Horus could only see the speed of a shooting star past her. Sanguinius felt the Angel's sword impale her stomach only to be struck in the chest, pushing her upward into the sky. Pulling her off the sword of fire.

"Damnit even with my strength at least twice improved. I'm still outmatched!" She thought.

Sanguinius' wings still hadn't recovered yet, but with how far up she was she doubted that would be an issue. The Angel of destruction glanced up at her from the ground.

"I guess it's time I stop holding back," She said with a hint of satisfaction with the damage she made. The Lion and Russ charged at the Angel only for the two to be smacked away from the Angel's wings that carried her body throughout the air, making her fly towards the falling matriarch.

Magnus raised out her arm, pointing it at the flying warrior, and tried to halt the Angel, using her psychic power.

"A little curious cat like you can get skinned, if it doesn't watch where it's sticking, its nose," The Angel said in anger.

The Angel didn't even halt at the attempt to capture, Instead, Magnus felt a huge wave of psychic power slamming her face, pushing her head to the dirt floor. While blood gushed out of her nose and ears. The immense psychic backlash was enough to knock her out.

Her mind was flushed with images of the creations, the tubes that made them the DNA that created their bodies. The many lost just so that their infant bodies could open their eyes. All orchestrated by a god of light that showed affection like how a carpenter admired his tools. That they were only an extension of himself and not as individuals.

Magnus felt her heart skip a beat, as she fell in defeat.

Corvus quickly caught Magnus in her arms so she wouldn't hit the ground. The matriarch had an expression of pain. While her eyes showed only worry for Sanguinius. Magnus felt completely overwhelmed at how her temp to use our awesome power was completely dismissed by the angel of destruction. It was as if she was out of her league. This individual was as or more powerful than her.

Her shadow eye allowed her to see that reality, time and space were warping around this angel. This was not a matriarch to call it such would be a mockery of the Angel.

"I'm sorry Corvus," Magnus wheezed out in a broken whisper. The matriarch of the raven guard could see not pride in her sister's eye but a shameful and frightened look.

"That thing was made by our father, it tells the truth," Magnus said in a made cry.

The Lions felt a cold lump in her throat, thinking she wasn't the first that was created. It was a lie. Her father had lied to her. The most loyal of her daughters was lied to. Taking deep breaths she wanted to reject what she had hurt only for it to be more true, the more she pushed it away.

All of the matrices gasped and horror, however, one of them gaped eyes above the sky, concerned for her sister fighting not for her own life, but for all of the others.

"Be careful Sanguinius, you must fight this beast alone," Horus whispered in a broken voice. Corvus glanced up and gently set Magnus on the dirt floor. There is no more time for playing. She had to adapt to the situation faster.

It was time for the raven to fly.

Sanguinius could see the Angel of destruction was fast approaching her from down below. The time Magnus bought was more than enough as she whispered three words under her breath. even with the light of death approaching her, she responded with her crimson might.

"Boost, Boost, Boost!"

Now being three times more powerful, she tossed a mighty punch through the blinding light, only to be blocked by the flaming sword.

The sound of the two ethereal metals clasping with one another echoes throughout the land.

The Angel stared at her hatefully. Sanguinius met the expression with her own, determined glare to protect all she cared for.

"You might gain strength every consecutive minute, but I already have the power to take your time down," The Angel said, swinging her sword above her head and slamming it down upon the falling matriarch. Sanguinius failed to realize when she boosted herself, that also included her regenerative power. without realizing her wings cut the wind under them and gently guided the matriarch away from the ground.

She looked down at sacred gear and let out a startled laugh.

"Oh my, you certainly do carry more surprises!" She said with excitement.

"You bet I am master! Now let's take this creep down together!" Baal said with an energetic tone. Sanguinius glanced up at the Angel who was chasing and quickly flew away from the others.

"Master, what are you doing?" Baal asked

"Isn't obvious my dragon friend? I must lead her away from the others right now. I have her attention and I'm going to keep it on me until I beat her!" Sanguinius said, turning her whole body around as she flew backward.

"Master, may I suggest using a dragon shot?" Baal said in a calm voice.

"Baal forgive but I don't know many of these terms that you are saying to me the only one I do know is balance breaker," Sanguinius thought.

"It is an easy attack, even for you can't even mess up this," Baal said. Sanguinius could pick up. on the sassy tone of voice but knew there were more troubling things at hand.

"Alright, how do I achieve this Dragon shot?"

"Master concentrate all your energy within a single calm blast from your hand. don't overthink it just use the boost energy!"

Raising her hand and pointing it at the angel having the perfect shot in her sights.

"Let's see if I can pull this off," Sanguinius hopeful said.

The Angel of destruction raised her flaming sword and swung it in the air, creating a humongous wave of fire, dancing across the sky and heading right for the winged matriarch. Sanguinius focused all her raw power on the red glove.

"Red Dragon shot!" Sanguinius shouted as a small red orb of light shot from the gauntlet and zoomed in the middle of the wave of fire. It exploded and dissipated all of the flames. Leaving only smoke in the after wake.

The Angel, like a shark out of the water, leaped through the smoke and continued her chase. A cocky smile appeared on Sanguineous's face seeing how dead set the Angel was on getting its petty revenge on her.

"I must say you might be strong, but you like a certain pizzazz," She joked. However, the angel was not amused by the cry.

"There are many types of swords, each with their style, but all equal in the same results. Your argument is lackluster at best," The Angel said, raising her sword to the sky, preparing to slash another wave of conflagration.

Sanguinius took a risky move and sped towards her opponent instead of running. That sword that was in the Angels of Destruction's hand was very powerful and too dangerous to be left unchecked.

She raised her red spiked gauntlet and aimed directly at the sword. The angel disappeared the shimmer of light, leaving a completely confused matriarch at what I just happened.

"What? That looks like a wraith slip, but only Corvus and her Legion know that tactic!" She said in panic. If it weren't for her advanced senses and feeling that overwhelming aura that followed constantly behind the angel. Dogged out of the way of the blade that nearly took off her head.

The Angel slammed the butt of her sword onto Sanguinius's shoulder pushing her down to the treetop canopy. though she was getting used to this routine she completely maneuvered around her descent and flew back in the air.

Making her way up into the sky, flapping her wings, and looking at the angel with a surprised expression.

"How did you do that?" She asked.

The Angel smiled maliciously, holding up her sword, and pointing it towards Sanguinius' path.

"You are all versions of me. I know those tricks because I invented them. I was made with them. The prototype stands in front of you as it's superior to the newer model,"

Sanguinius's eyes widened in shock as it all made sense now and how the angel was capable of keeping up with all of them. She was blessed with many of their gifts, but did that also include their weaknesses? Though plenty of blood was spelt it's clear that there were some things unique to only them that the angel didn't have.

"Then I guess that makes you a dull sword," Sanguinius said, aiming her dragon gauntlet, not the angel, and firing a dragon shot.

Quickly the Angel of Destruction's wings flapped so hard pushing her away from the attack. Sanguinius smirked and began to shoot multiple dragon bursts. Though each attack was quickly invaded like it was nothing. The matriarch noticed that she wasn't reacting to the projectile, but was already moving before the shot could be taken.

Then it dawned on Sanguinius that this wasn't the use of advanced senses but the use of future sites. She had only seen this level of skill from Konrad.

"Hmph, I guess she was telling the truth! But she slowly from before," Sanguinius thought. However, shooting multiple shots, she noticed that even though her future site was incredible she wasn't demonstrating the same amount of speed previously when she was fighting the four of them.

"Master, is it possible that she may only use one power at a time? Maybe that's why she was a failing prototype. A design flaw…and her very radical nature might also be a problem," Baal said.

"Hmm I couldn't agree more, let's put our little hypothesis to the test," Sanguinius said formulating a plan. with a constant barrage of energy shots going the angel's way she had more than enough space to pull off at least five consecutive boosts. this plan would surely go off of the hitch because there was a great distance between the two and even though Konrad wasn't that fast she would have to draw on the Khans' speed.

Sanguinius stopped your attack and quickly began the power-up.

"Boost, Boost, Boost, Boost-" Sanguinius couldn't finish the fifth because she miscalculated just how fast the angel was. Because in a matter of seconds, Te Angel was already there her sword pulled back ready to slice the matriarch in half.

"Damn well, I was right," Sanguinius thought.

Then before the blade could reach her, everything around her began to slow down. Even the wings that flapped for them waited still in the air. It was as if time had stopped for her. The very concept of time was now obsolete to her.

"What's happening?"

"Oh it's quite simple, my master, your perception of time has also been boosted as well, right now you're about three minutes ahead with processing information, quite a helpful advantage, don't you think?"

Sanguinius would've shown a surprised face if it was able to move that fast but being able to process things faster gave her more than just the edge. She was able to slowly pull up her right arm hooking underneath the arm of the angel. Breaking the grip of the Angel blade and delivering an uppercut to the angel of destruction's chin. Even when delivering a powerful strike, the matriarch was able to witness her attack very slowly do its damage to the angel's face. A couple of shards of white teeth spurted from her mouth. While the face began to twist and be pushed together.

Then quickly time began to catch up with them and The Angel fell downward to the ground. Though in great haste the angel recovered from the blow and glared upward at the red Dragon Empress. She spat out a swig of blood and teeth.

The two glared at each other as their regenerative power slowly healed them. Then for a moment, the angel's eyes glowed with a familiar yellow hue. Angel stared at her with a calm expression.

"Impressive, you figured out that I may only use one of my abilities at a time, however, it is more of a mental restriction than a physical one."

"What's that implying? You have an alternative motive for holding back," Sanguinius said.

"Yes it's not that I want to, but it helps feel out an opponent and see what combination works best against them," The Angel said with a smirk.

"Why are you telling me this?" Sanguinius asked.

"Because I know you're not going to tell the others," The Angel's eyes glowed that familiar golden hue, her expression turned into one of interest. "Or should I say you two won't tell anyone, I thought I kept hearing another voice in your head, how interesting,"

"Master she can hear us!" Baal said in a panic.

"I know," Sanguinius quickly said, only to ready herself for another attack. The Angel's eyes glowed as she disappeared into the light. It was then that Sanguinius was punched in the head, then in the stomach and then her head was forcefully thrown into the dirt. impacting the ground beneath them with cracks that went deep into the soil.

Then she felt a hand grab her hair, threatening to rip out the roots from her skull, only for it to be forcefully pushed back down into the hard earth. Then it kept happening time and time again.

Smash!

Smash!

Smash!

Smash!

She let out a painful grunt but punched the air feeling that she had knocked something away.

The Angel then reappeared above Sanguinius with her sword raised high. pairing it to plunge the hot blade into Sanguinius' chest.

The downed matriarch raised her dragon gauntlet preparing a Dragon shot. Then without warning Corvus came out of the shadow of the Angel that was cast on the floor and grappled her from behind. Like a great white jumping out of the water clapping its jaw on its prey.

Sanguinius could see When Corvus leaped at the angel of destruction. Taking her down with her, in the conjugation of shadow and wings. The two collided on the forest floor trying to rip each other apart.

The Angel grabbed Corvus and began to struggle out of her grip. Corvus responded by stabbing both of our electric claws deep into the back of the angel.

She let out a painful scream as the blades tore up her back, the wings tried to warp around the Raven guard matriarch only for Corvus to slip away in a wraith slip. The Angel got up and sporadically looked around herself.

Corvus was gone hiding in the shadows waiting to ambush again. The anger that floods through her veins would be enough to drive anyone frightful of her. However she hasteful took control of her breathing and began to calm down. Searching the area and finding nothing. Then she stabbed her sword in the earth making a bright flash, covering the area around in a bright white light.

This light uncovered Corvus from the shadows and left her wide open for an attack. The Angel leaped at her with monstrous speed. Then Russ jumped from behind her with that Ax of hers ready to hack at a neck.

Sanguinius took a deep sigh and pulled herself up on her feet, she felt like her head was agonizing. She coughed up a little blood and gripped her fist in anger.

"I think it's time for the balance breaker. I believe you're capable of learning it right now," Baal informed.

"Humpf! Must I rely on my emotions to activate this promotion?" She asked. The truth was that using your emotions like this in battle seemed incredibly risky. It was something that she wasn't used to. Yes, time and time again she would always use her berserk king blood rage as an advantage, but it was only a last resort to use it freely, and mixing it with her combat style was new to her. Would she just rely on hate again?

Would she fall into the same path of being a monster again, and undo all of Issei's work? The only way to find out was by asking.

"What emotion do I draw on?"

"The good ones and the ones you wish to have," Sanguinius took a deep breath and focused on her true desires. What did she want, the sickness was gone and she had the Imperium, so what did she still want? Thinking deeply the answer was clear as day right in front of her.

She craved every hour, the person that gave her so much hope and passion. To once have his hands touch against hers. The kiss of death he shared that brought her to life.

"I love Issei," Sanguinius thought in her mind. A truth she would die for.

"And?"

"And what I love Issei that must be enough right?" Sanguinius asked in a hopping voice.

"Sorry master but you gotta tell me, what's the plan in the bedroom?" The moment Baal asked that question, Sanguinius was petrified with shock.

"WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!" Sanguinius was completely embarrassed at what Baal had suggested.

"Oh come on you can't be that shy about the subject, I mean surely you want to ride Issei, don't you! Why not! you should have raw power fantasizing about dominating him… or could it be, that you want him to ravage you!" Baal knew that Sanguinius was a higher-ranking general, so it was probably hard for any man to come up to her and compliment her beauty. Issei was the one who grabbed her by the shoulders and made her suck his blood.

Sanguinius was completely petrified with embarrassment as your cheeks were flushed with red.

"I'm not hearing any denial from you, my master. So that means you want Issei to calm your sacred garden! So stop this embarrassment and embrace your love for Issei!"

"I'm not that embarrassed, but… for me to just think of it. Makes me feel shameful and unworthy of his love," Sanguinius didn't want to be that unruly matriarch who only desired lust from the one that she loved. Taking a deep breath she had to concentrate on the battle at hand even without this boost, she could still put in some work to take down the angel.

"Don't give up on love, it's hard for you to express yourself when you've locked another side from everyone around you. You're free to be whoever you want to be. Just play with the idea, surely you don't wanna be the good girl angel all the time with Issei, don't you want him to see all of you," Baal made her point, which Sanguinius couldn't argue against. The matriarch let out a loud growl and rubbed her face in a stressed manner.

"I can't believe I'm even talking about my love life right now while the battle for our lives unfolds, what a fool I am," She said harshly.

"It's foolish to hold all these feelings in I may have been born a couple of days ago, but that doesn't mean that I don't understand people. Sanguinius there's a difference between showing love and holding it in," Baal said, wanting to unshackle a bird in its cage. Sanguinius stared at the floor and slowly loosened her hand. The Matriarch slowly let her mind wander into those thoughts that would make her blush.

Remembering all the times she and Issei shared a moment and the ones yet to come. The idea of being held by Issei under white sheets while the world couldn't hurt her anymore. Fantasizing his hands caressing her sides while Issei pinned her down.

Sanguinius felt another force try to reach out to her, a purple light promising her more if she joined them. Though Sanguinius wasn't fooled she knew she already had what she wanted and didn't desire anymore. The Purple light was pushed back and faded away into nothing. Somewhere deep into the void, a voice screamed out in anger.

Sanguinius wondered what that was only for Baal to put her at ease.

"Master no one shall interrupt you, I promise to focus on your love,"

Sanguinius felt her heartbeat move at a steady pace as she opened her eyes showing they were not that belonging to a human. However, they were a bright red with black slits as a reptile. A red light had begun to form around her. Raising the red gauntlet in the air she let out a powerful war cry that echoed throughout the planet. It shook the mountains and trees. The sky above parted ways for the cry to split the clouds,

The earth under her shattered for it could not beware the power on top of it. The wings of

Sanguinius began to be encapsulated by red armor, it spread around her body covering every inch of her body in bright red metal. Though in some strange interaction with her other armor underneath, mailed it with each other, forming gold and red together.

Then the armor closed around her head forming a dragon-shaped helmet. The armor that encapsulated her body was smooth and rugged. The feet of the suit resembled more like dragons' feet than actual shoes. In the middle of her chest was a green jewel. That resembled an eye like her old suit. On her lower abdomen, the four red gems remain representing the four moons of her homeworld. Another dazzling green gem was right on the back of her right gauntlet.

Sanguinius' open armored hand slammed down on the dirt floor. Feeling her wings spring forth showing the world that they were glycerin-like bright red rubies.

Sanguinius was taking deep breaths as she felt an overwhelming power flow through her veins. She let out the ferocious roar of a woman and a dragon. Baal announced what the matrix had become.

"Balance Breaker, Empress Dragon supreme!"

The bright red matriarch looked up to the sky, filled with a determination, like no other, and shouted from the top of her lungs.

"I'M GOING TO CLAIM ISSEI VIRGINITY!" She shouted so loud that the whole world would hear the promise.

Sanguinius' wings flapped only once and shot like a rocket in the sky. Then comparable to an eagle spotting her prey from above the sky. The empowered matriarch could see The angel fighting her sister.

Sanguinius' eyes narrowed behind her helmet and dive bomb below straight at the Angel.

The Angel had Corvus and Russ by the throats as your wings held up both of them. The battle between the two had been unfair. It was the combination of the overwhelming psychic mite that dominated Russ's mind, while the bright light that could easily match with the emperor of mankind.

Corvus grunted in anger, while the wolf was unresponsive.

"Truly I'm disappointed in you-," The Angel stopped what she was doing and threw the two away from her. Leaping a great distance back. Corvus could only see a red blur firmly push her away.

"Sanguinius'," Corvus called out. Russ's eyes also slightly opened to see a red queen standing in front of her.

All she could see was a red light before she succumbed to her fatigue.

Sanguinius stood tall and glared at the Angel across from her. The two said nothing as their body language had already answered the other.

The two collide with each other trying to force the opposite to fall. Their feet dug into the ground as their heels began to dig in the soil.

The Angel could feel the power radiant from the armor that the matriarch wore. The red bright lights were blinding while the overwhelming strength that bore down on her made The Angel shouted in retaliation. Height hand was being detained. The same hand that held her fiery blade that could tear down armies. The angel of destruction would not use the future site abilities for what was the point of looking into close combat quarters like this; it would equal the same result.

With great effort, she changed her footing, and now that she was grabbing the matriarch's hand at full control over her upper body, and yanked her upward in the air.

Sanguinius' wings were illuminated with red energy as red lights. A single word came out of her mouth.

"BOOST!"

The Angel could feel she was being pushed back. Those wings were shooting out red energy that propelled the matriarch toward the Angel.

She felt her body taken off the floor, and her back punching through tree after tree. A ruthless assault of brutal shoving. Being used as a shield to carve a path through the forest.

The Angel had enough of this and headbutted Sanguinius, colliding with her red helmet. Throwing her head back and letting go of the angel. Sanguinius skidded off the dirt like a stone but quickly recovered.

The angel without hesitation, ferociously stabbed her sword into the ground, erupting a humongous wave of fire that dwarfed the matriarch. The flames had burnt anything that touched them and those flames spread quickly. Making the world turn into a desolate hellscape.

Sanguinius raised her head charged at the wave of fire and flapped her wings so hard that a humongous gust of red wind formed, sending the flames upward into the sky. The Angel was gazing at the fire, seeing it being dissipated in the air.

A shadow had raced across the flames, The Angel looked into the flame, her mouth gaped in shock. Jumping out of the fire like salmon jumping out of the water. Sanguinius had her fist out and struck the Angel's chest.

The punch had pushed deep into the angel's body as if it were trying to rip the skin. Thankfully due to how she was built, she was more than able to take a life-threatening injury.

Now that Sanguinius' was so close, The Angel had the advantage with effortless hand work. She brought the blade downward onto Sanguinius yet instead of dodging or running from the attack. A swift armored hand grabbed the blade. The edge carved its way through the red armor, but yet it was halted before it could even stab into the matriarch's chest. The hand that held onto the blade had stopped it.

The Angel tried to pull her weapon away, However, when she pulled on the blade, all she could hear was a loud crack.

The angel of destruction's eyes watched as the indestructible sword that her father made was shattered into pieces within the grip of the red dragon empress. The same blade that had killed so many greater demons and combated the horrors of the dark age of technology.

Another strike to her chest collapsed her lungs and heart. The Angel used her wings to form two sharp limbs to impale her adversary. ferociously they dived down at Sanguinius. However, the matriarch remained unphased.

"BOOST!" roaring vicious battle cry of victory. The two wings were halted by a wave of red energy that burned them in an intense wave of heat. They slowly crumpled and blue in the wind as they became dust. The Angel was whacked in the face, and her vision became blurry as she had suffered severe trauma to the head.

The Angel still refused to stand down, her eyes gleamed with a white light. Sanguinius having her face up to the Angel was hit with a burning energy beam that punched through the past helmet and scorched her face. Sanguinius screams in pain as the Angels grab her head with both of her hands and unleash a beam of pain.

Sanguinius could feel her face burn and the flesh, destroying a lot of her delicate features and burning offer flawless skin. The Angel assumed victory was hers only to be swiftly corrected that it wasn't. Sanguinius' with all her current boosted strength, delivered an uppercut to the bottom of the angel's rib cage, pushing upward so hard that it began to rip into her flesh and armor, pulling itself through the upper body, pulling away, and colliding with the bottom of her jaw digging into the skin and completely ripping the jawbone part, forcing the angel eyes to look up.

The Angel was completely gutted as a geyser of blood. The prototype matriarch with her broken body stared at Sanguinius. Seeing the damage she had done was vanishing, the regeneration of the matriarch was also improved upon. However, the Angel could see into Sanguinius. The only feeling in those eyes was scorn.

The Angel felt herself being punched again in the chest slamming her back to the ground. A red-armed foot pinned her down into the dirt. Sanguinius looked over her with a red gauntlet fist cocked back.

"This ends now," Sanguinius whispers. Then she slammed him down on The Angel, the attack pushed deep into the dirt.

Sanguinius pulled her fist back again. Her eyes glowed with a very deep scarlet color. Then she brought down her fist again, the sound of her fist colliding with the angel's chest creating a massive shockwave. The Angel felt her back dig into the ground more. Sanguinius refused to let up her attack, raising her hand again she shouted to the heavens.

"BOOST!"

Bringing down a fist that could crush mountains, the attack forced the angel deeper into the soil. Her skin grew back quickly and she tried to use her future site but all those visions showed the same outcome. A future that she couldn't avoid. The loss of this battle was all she could see.

"BOOST!" Sanguinius yelled, smashing Angel's head, and breaking the top left of her skull. The Angel had felt her consciousness was slipping away. However, with the time she had in the waking world, she would destroy the person who did this.

Then anything that the angel could see was scorched in the blazing heat. Sanguinius felt her body being burned however she would not falter at the task she bestowed on herself. Pushing her right hand over the angel's eyes, halting the beams on the palm of her armored hand. A light had illuminated the matriarchs. Hand. The heat had burned away the red metal, the flesh was all but turned to dust. However, the green jewel and the bone are still holding on.

Sanguinius' bone fingers stabbed into the Angel's hand so deep that it impaled the orbs of flesh. The heat from her eyes vanished and Sanguinius pulled the remnants of her hand away from the Angel. Yanking out Angel's eyes with a brutal motion.

The Angel screamed in pure agony, while Sanguinius pushed through the pain and raised her hand one last time. The battle was to be decided now, with a choice of life and death. Sanguinius' eyes glowed with a shining green light, they were as piercing as emeralds.

"Master it is your choice on what happens now!" Baal said.

She had the Angel at her mercy and with her heart still bumping for battle she fell into a state of want. A want to end this is the desire to return home and be greeted by Issei. A face she wanted to fall asleep to and wake to the next morning.

A life was threatened by this Angel so with a heavy hand she charged up on more attacks. She was free and unbound only a true queen would be able to feel this moment. She felt the power, but it was all under her control and that is what set her apart from her previous self. The control of her mind and emotion and the ability to let that emotion fuel her attacks.

"Issei I am your monster and your angel!"

"BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST"

Sanguinius felt her body being pushed to the absolute limit, the skeleton hand became healthy and alive. A deep dark red light began to shine. This was not her falling into madness, this was her choice to protect all she loved. She did not hate what was in front of her but loved what was behind her. The energy from the attack was beyond anything she had ever tried.

In her hand was the power to kill a god, now it was time to put it to the test. No longer controlled by her craving for blood and flesh, only a desire to end this fight.

Her hand moved so fast that an afterimage was left in its place. The heat coming off it was hotter than the sun. The moment her hand smashed into the Angel's rib cage a red large explosion.

Boom was the sound of the massive eruption of power, the world in a mile radius only saw red.

Far away the Ork Warboss matched through the desolate wasteland. The boys were starting to become more restless. They hadn't had a good fight in days, now treason was starting to begin. questioning the leadership of the biggest boss.

The Warband and their makeshift vehicles came to a complete halt, they stopped moving because they could feel it in the air. A great big fight took place right on this planet, and they could feel it.

The sharpest orcs looked over the horizon and could see an illuminating red light. A color that burns so bright it challenges the green skins.

The Bigclompa could see this and smiled. The fight was still on and they almost missed it. Now it was time for a good old-fashioned, WAAH!

"It's time for some Fighting!" He shouted to his Ork Boys. A wave of green warfare was sprinting toward the light and they couldn't have been more happier.

Eldrad sat in his throne room with a look of utter horror at what he was watching as the battle that was shown on the screen was in epic proportions.

They needed to get Issei off the planet now. The time for asking was gone, now was the time for action.

Thankfully a howling banshee was also with him watching the screen and was already assembling a squad.

Issei and Lorgar were lost in the red light.

Lorgar was encapsulated by the beauty, never seeing such red in her life.

Issei was nervous; he had only sensed that level of power from his Balance breaker. He was in awe at the light. If Sanguinius had managed to activate the ballad breaker so quickly it was truly impressive. Even though he had a burning sense of envy. He only wished that Sanguinius was okay. Without warning he ran as fast as he could through the building. Lorgar even had trouble keeping up.

"Please be okay Sanguinius, I don't want you to lose yourself in the power. Please let me see you come back!" He thought.

Lorgar and Issei ran out to the main courtyard where everyone else was gathered. All to marvel at the red light. Issei was still mesmerized by the light.

"Hey buddy, she's going to do great things with that weapon," Que said, trying to comfort the boy. Issei is concerned for Sanguinius' safety but does agree with Que. She was truly amazing with that weapon.

"Yeau she is…" Issei said. The red light faded into the normal beautiful sky.

"But you know, me and you are going to do spectacular things but right now, I would have to say she is quite amazing, you are certainly one lucky man," Que said, making Issei crack a smile.

"Always making me smile at times like this,"

Issei left a hand gently gripping his shoulder, it was a soft touch but a firm grip. Angron was by his side and felt the worrying and anxiety. Issei gladly accepted the comfort, holding her hand. Times were changing while the future was now in front of him. He only wished he could see his family and friends. Though the people he bonded with right now, or something he would never trade away. Hope is what keeps him alive, love is what keeps him going.

Angron's love, Konrad's love, Lorgar's love, and Sanguinius. All his friends are waiting for him. While Sanguinius spearheads the future. It was enough to bring him to this moment. He was different but also the same lovable idiot.

"Go get them," Issei said with a joyful smirk.

Unknown to Issei, someone wasn't watching the dazzling red light that illuminated the sky. Ferrus was only looking at Issei, with a malicious smile. An expression of a collector, seeing its prize tangled in front of him.

This forest area was now gone, only leaving a ginormous circular crater that reached for miles. Standing in the middle of it all was Sanguinius, still holding her indomitable fist up. The armor she wore was gone now its place was her original protection, the gold armor that made her look like a golden angel.

She stood over the skeleton remains of what was the angel of destruction. All that was left were withered bones, tattered metal armor that was shattered into the ground, and a distinct outline of her wings.

Sanguinius, exhausted from the battle, fell to the ground, and landed on her back, looking into the sky with tired eyes. Then back at the remains of the angel.

"I'm sorry, blood didn't have to be spilled today, but I had to kill you before you killed me… or my family," Sanguinius said in an exhausted, whimpering breath. She had truly given it her all, and this was the first time in her life she could ever say she was tired.

"A wise choice to rest my master," Baal said.

"nonsense I should've done this better. Maybe I wouldn't collapse on the ground right now." She Thought back.

"Master I am a carbon copy of an amazing weapon. I have memories of that weapon's past user and I have to say you have accomplished more progress than any user ever in one day." Sanguinius mused at the idea but in truth, she was made for battle. She was hardened by war and blood. Now she felt free and liberated.

"Sanguinius!" A voice called out. The matriarch that lay on the floor knew who it was, The voice of her dear sister Horus. She turned her head to Horus who ran down the crater side. Right behind her were Russ, and Corvus. Magnus who was being helped by the Lion.

Horus ran towards her sister and picked her up. Wanting to make sure she was fine. Russ and the Lion were stunned seeing the damage that had been done here. Corvus slowly turned back to normal as her raven wings disappeared. Leaving stunned women behind.

While seeing the great photo they gave them so much trouble completely dead in a crater in the ground. They gazed at Sanguinius with a bit of terror. This battle should have taken days, now it was over in minutes. Only possible with the weapon that Sanguinius was given.

"That boy is dangerous," The Lion thought.

Magnus gazed at the corpse but was still scared from the battle and looking at the angel's mind, it was all true. She was a prototype made by the Emperor that was made for war to unify Earth, and it had accomplished its job, but once it was done, it locked it away.

Magnus felt uneasy, knowing her father had done this. Russ could see the worry on her sister's face.

"Are you okay?" Russ asked. Magnus did not stand with pride. She was only frightened and stared at the corpse in front of her.

"No, I'm not,"

Russ put a hand on her shoulder and guided her away from the gruesome site.

"Come on, let's get out of here," Russ said. Magnus nodded and followed Russ.

Horus held up her tired sibling and smiled at her. The battle was over at least they didn't have to worry about looking after another prisoner.

"Can you walk?" She asked.

"On this occasion, I can not. I've fallen and I cannot get up. Oh, this would make a lovely joke" Sanguinius said with that sly smirk of hers.

Horus held Sanguinius in her arms. Shaking her head at her sister reluctantly trying to hold her laughter.

"Let's go back to base," Horus said, speaking for everyone. The battle was one. It was time to rest and regather.

Issei waited by the gate doors. A couple of hours had passed since the light show. The sun was setting into the night. Of course, many of the others still waited at their posts. Lorgar, who says by Issei. eagerly waited for Horus and the others to return.

"I can feel their presents still out there," Issei said. getting used to that matriarch or I was bound to happen eventually. He was even able to separate them from each other and figure out who would come into the room before he even saw them.

Lorgar nodded and sighed deeply.

"Yes, I can feel them as well but I don't feel that overwhelming light. It's all but vanished, whoever it was? They are gone now," Lorgar said. Issei glanced down at the shadows. it would've been so easy for him to ask them for him to order them to explain what happened.

The matriarch trusted him, they gave him so much freedom. I'd become a trusted ally and even healed him. They trusted him, even though they held back secrets from him.

That trust was still there.

"My, my must you act like a lovesick puppy waiting for your master's return," Fulgrim teased walking. Issei rolled his eyes, and Lorgar giggled at the sassy remark.

"I know but I just care for their safety, like how I care that you changed your style again," Issei said, making Fulgrim chuckle as she took a seat by him.

"You know, if we have a do clash blades again I wouldn't mind if you left my hair a little longer next time," Fulgrim jokes.

"Yeah, I will,"

The three gazed out into the forest. Then in a mere moment, they could see five large individuals start to approach them. Issei smiled seeing Sanguinius had returned, leaning on Horus. Fulgrim noticed how roughed up they looked. They take a lot of battle damage from whatever they encounter.

Sanguinius smiled seeing Issei awaiting her return. However, right now was not the time for happy reunions. It was time for action, and some truths needed to be revealed. Magnus was still tense about what she saw. What had their father done?

While the moon illuminated the forest and the crater, that's where the Angel's remains lay. The area was quiet and undisturbed.

Then a steady noise echoed through the forest. The skeletons twisted and the broken frame twitched, even if it was just bone it still stirred.

Within the rib cage, red flesh and muscle began to form until all the squirming formed a beating heart. The sound of its beating heart echoes in the ditch.

The skull slowly moved up as its empty socket's eyes were light. A raspy voice yelled into the silent night.

"I will always return…" The desolate angel called out.

"My dear sisters I was made to take on the worst, this was a Tuesday for me,"

Hey guys I hope you liked this chapter and are having a great day. Things have been going well, It's my birthday today so having big plans with the family. Anyway, I realized how much of a problem the angel was, and realized she was not the best person. so she not going to be in the Harem. Big sad I know, also I just want to clarify no Zenos in this harem. However, I just want to say that I'm glad you guys are still enjoying the story and hope we finally get off this rock of planet I made. Btw I wanted Sanguinius to have her Oppa moment right here. Which is a fun parallel with Issei. This fic has always been a great part of my life. So no new chapter next week I'll be working on other fics. So the next chapter of Human Touch won't be out for a while.
