The last few days had been surprisingly normal no monster attacks or Putty patrollers causing trouble. It was nice I did get another spar with Jason in but that was it.

At the moment I was entering the youth centre with Kim while we both carried some boxes.

"Hey no problem, Some alone time with a pretty woman I'd be crazy to turn that down"

Kim blushed and smacked my shoulder.

Turning around we both groan when we see Bulk and skull in the door

"What do we have here?"

"What are you guys doing here?"

Ignoreing Kim's question Bulk walks over "oh, look it's a cute little model Float"

Bulk pushes me and Kim out of the way

"Yeah a cute little model Float" skull parrot's

"Hey back up Bulk"

"Nice flow" Bulk is cut off when he sneezes

"Flowers" skull asks dumbly before Bulk sneezes in his face

"Oh, gross" Kim pulls a disgusted face

Bulk keeps sneezing grabbing Skull's neckerchief

"My allergies" Bulk groans while dragging Skull away.

"Seriously how dumb is Bulk to stick his face in some flowers when he is allergic to them"

"He did fail an IQ test once"

I just shook my head "what if he had a severe enough reaction for his throat to seize up I know CPR but that wouldn't do any good then"

"That is a good point" Kim now has a pensive look.

Shaking our heads we go back to working on the model Float.

After working on the model for a bit I looked over at Kim.

"Hey, those are cool flowers"

"You know what the best part is?"

"What?"

"They're gonna recycle all the flowers"

"Really? How do they do that?"

"It's really simple they just collect them all and they turn them into potpourri"

"Huh that's a pretty good idea"

Unfortunately five Putty's then teleported in

"We got trouble!" I yelled getting Kim's attention a few of the Putty's grabbed us while the others started to wreck the model. I managed to rench free as Kim flipped the putty that had grabbed her.

I quickly punched the Putty that had grabbed me then kicked another that approached me we kept hitting the Putty's With me managing to destroy one just as the others rush in the remaining Putty's teleported away.

Looking round we notice Kim sat on the floor crying next to her ruined model

"Look at my model"

"Man they really demolished it"

Zack added as he squatted down

"Without this model I can't build the full sized float now it won't be able to be in the parade"

Trini sat down next to Kim and placed a hand on her leg

While I squatted next to her

"Oh Kim cheer up there will be other parades you can design floats for"

Kim just cried harder

"Yeah, but Rita will probably wreck them too"

"Well, perhaps we can simply reconstruct it"

Billy added

"All that time and effort for nothing"

I put my arm around Kim's shoulder "we could help you build a new one"

"Yeah" Trini added

"There's no way we can get more flowers in time the models due today"

Scrambling up Kim runs over to the juice bar

"This Rita's a real witch"

"Not the word I'd use but it rhymes with it" I mutter

After the others had helped me clean up for a bit Trini had an idea

"Hey, I know let's take her out to lunch that should cheer her up"

"That's a good idea" Billy added "is that all the pieces we could locate?"

"Man what a bummer" Zack added dropping some more bits in the trash can

"Yeah, you know Kimberly really had her heart set on having a float in the parade"

"I wish there was something we could do"

"I've got an idea we'll deal with it later, though I gotta go" pulling the trash bag out I walked up to the bar and put my hand on Kim's shoulder.

"You going to be ok?"

"Yeah I'll be fine"

"The guys wanna take you out to lunch, but I gotta go and take care of something can I drop this off at your house"

Kim just shook her head "no just toss it I don't need it around to remind me of the parade"

"Yeah, ok I'll catch you later"

I quickly kiss Kim's cheek before walking out.

Heading back to my place I start putting the bits of the model back together after a while my communicator beeps

"Del, the power rangers need you at angel grove park"

"Right I'm on my way Zordon"

Standing up I grab my Morpher from my back pocket.

"DRAGONZORD"

reappearing in the park I pulled my blade blaster and fired a few shots at the giant monster.

"Are you guys ok, come on let's get him"

Suddenly the monster starts sucking up more flowers

"Alright rangers listen up we need Dragonzord power delivery power it up"

"Right coming up" pulling the Dragon Dagger I summon the Dragonzord from the bay

"We need Dinozord power now" Zack, Billy and Trini call out summoning their own Zord's as well

We quickly form the Dragonzord battle mode

Jumping in to the cockpit the others use the Dragon staff to pull flowers away from the monster making it growl and charge which the others dodge then swing the staff at the monster but it keeps evading them till it finally grabs the staff in one of its claws and starts kicking the Zord in its side before releasing the staff and dodging more swipes then spitting out flowers over the Zord causing several explosions and draining the power causing the Zord to collapse.

Thankfully Zordon teleported us all to the command centre before the others could get hurt

"That monster almost trashed the Dragonzord" Jason yelled

"I never knew flowers could be so dangerous"

Kim added sounding upset.

"Alpha, track the Spitflower"

"Right it's coming up on the viewing globe now"

We all turned round to see the monster now shrunk back down running round the city laughing

"I have retrieved your Zord's and returned them to their hiding places for as you can see they were ineffective against the Spitflower his strength grows with every minute"

"Flowers are on the attack all over the city"

"Alpha, begin an analysis of the last battle"

"How are we going to stop that thing?" Trini asked after we had watched the Spitflower chase more people around"

"The analysis of your recent battle has located the Spitflower's weak point if you destroy the Spitflower's mist sack he will be unable to produce any more biting blooms and his strength will be reduced"

"You think you can hit that with your power bow?" Jason asked Kim

"No problem I'll show Rita not to mess with me"

"Alright then, let's move"

"Del you must stay here if the power rangers fail you will be our last hope"

Watching the others teleport out I sit down and watch the viewing globe.

Kim manages to hit the Spitflower's mist sack on her second shot before the others form the Power blaster and destroy it.

"Now they have destroyed that monster Alpha I need your help back at my place"

"Alright Del"

Me and Kim walked into the juice bar later while the others watched the parade

"I thought I said I didn't want to watch the Parade"

"Oh but you have to" I replied

Just then Kim's float came on the screen

"Is that my float?"

"Surprise" we all yelled laughing

"Del put it back together in time" Trini explained

"Thank you Del" Kim pulled me in to a tight hug

The next day I met up with Kim at a local archery range.

"Thanks for coming with me Del"

"Hey like I said alone time with a pretty woman"

Kim just gave me a big smile

A bit later I learned some very important things first my aim with a bow is rubbish, second Kim is a very good shot, and finally the experience for training with Kim was the same as Jason.
