Cat sighed, using one of his claws to make a heart on the window. It was a foggy today, and Cat was bored. No patrol met no Ladybug, and he was feeling restless.

Maybe he could go for a short stroll at least, maybe stop in the bakery for a snack. Cat shuddered as he headed out into the fog. Not only was it as thick as pea soup, but it was cold and he pulled his cloak tighter around his shoulders.

He was about to head back home when he froze, hearing a voice coming from the fog. "Cat Noirrr! Cat Noirr!" Cat drew out his baton, ready for an ambush. Who or what was calling from the fog?

"Master Fu?" Cat blinked in surprise as the small Guardian stepped out of the fog. "Hello, Cat Noir," Master said, as if this were a sunny and beautiful day. "What are you doing out here in the fog?" "I could ask you the same question," Master asked, his kind eyes twinkling. Cat sighed. "I'm missing M'lady, and I felt restless. But now, I feel like I should have stayed home."

"How about a cup of tea before heading back? After all, it is chilly out here." Cat blew on his cold hands. Spending time with the Master was much more appealing then his cold home. "Okay."

The tea had a bit of a bite to it, but Cat enjoyed it. "Nettle tea," Master explained. "And mint chocolate chip cookies. I've heard you've grown fond of cookies yourself, Cat," he said. "More like fond of Marinette," Cat confessed. "If Ladybug isn't around, I mostly hang out at Marinette's." "Ah," Master sipped his tea, a knowing smile on his face. "And you have feelings for her?" Cat squirmed. It was hard to talk about feelings, but he could open here. "I would be lying if she were just a friend," he whispered.

Marinette who gave him hugs when he felt scared or needed a cuddle, or laughed at his puns. "Your love for Ladybug has blossomed into a beautiful flower," Master Fu told him. "However, there are more then one bud on your flower, and your love for Marinette is just beginning to flourish." Cat nodded, reaching for a second cookie. He wasn't exactly sure what Master was saying, but Cat took it to heart.

After thanking Master for tea, Cat headed back out into the fog. He found his footsteps leading him to the bakery, and he smiled with his hand on the handle. When he had left home just a short time ago, his head had felt foggy. And now that he was about see his Princess, the shone brightly over Cat even as the fog rolled in.
