~Chapter nineteen~
The turtles, humans, Serena, and Honeycutt were currently running from alien mobsters, yes mobsters. Why? Well, let's rewind and see:
Flashback:
"I'm bored," grunted Casey.
"Oh," asked April, "I have an idea!"
"Hm, what," asked Raph, who is also bored.
Serena and April thought it would be a good idea to relax and go shopping.
"I'm sorry, what," asked Leo.
"Serena you too," exclaimed Casey.
"Do we have to," asked Donnie, who was laying down comfortably.
"Yes," replied Serena, with her hands on her hips, "it'll be fun!"
The boys grunted, and Mikey just sighed, for he knew that no one could change his little sister's mind, NO ONE could.
"Come on my dudes, let's just go," sighed Mikey, standing up and walking next to Serena, who smiled at him.
"Ok…" grunted Donnie, getting up.
"Seriously?!" Exclaimed Casey, "we're going shopping?!"
"Shut up!" Yelled April, hitting Casey.
"It MIGHT be fun," agreed Leo.
"See," asked Serena.
"Thank you," said April, side-eyeing Casey.
Everyone looked at Honeycutt, who then said, "um…I'll set a course for a local space mall!"
"Yippie," Serena said, expressing her excitement, making Mikey smile.
"Why…just why," sighed Raph.
"Relax Raph, I'm sure we'll find something to do there…" Leo assured, both Raph and himself.
"The nearest one is about 10 minutes away," stated Honeycutt.
"Thank you professor," thanked Serena.
"Of course Usagi," replied Honeycutt.
At the mall:
"I swear I feel like something is going to happen…" grunted Raph, annoyed.
"I agree, people keep looking at us…" sighed Donnie, holding Mikey's hand tighter, while eating grapes, or what he thought were grapes.
"Calm down you downers! Everything's fine," assured Mikey, "now where did the others go?"
"How should we know," asked Raph, "they WERE with us but Serena and April pulled Case and Leo away, to go shop for shoes I think…I don't know and I don't care, does that answer your question?"
"Don't sass me," replied Mikey.
"What, how did I sass you," asked Raph.
"Guys…" Donnie muttered.
"You said you would be nicer," argued Mikey, not listening to Donnie.
"I wasn't sassing you," exclaimed Raph, "you're just being dramatic, are you in heat?"
"Guys," said Donnie, louder.
"EXCUSE ME?!" Yelped Mikey, blushing from embarrassment and anger, "what's that supposed to mean?!"
Raph sighed and exclaimed, "YOU KNOW, being emotional-"
"GUYS!" Donnie yelled as mobsters pointed guns at them.
"…uh oh," muttered Mikey.
"What did we even do," yelled Donnie, pushing Mikey behind him.
The men just looked at each other and pointed their gun closer to the three brothers.
"SERIOUSLY," exclaimed Mikey, extremely loud.
With the others:
"Don't you like these ones," asked April holding up yellow heels.
"Ohh, pretty," replied Serena, "do YOU like them Casey?"
Serena knew that the two had…a connection. She also knew that the two humans liked each other. So, she decided to help them get together, which was way harder than it sounded.
"Huh? Those heels for red? It'll look 'aight," replied Casey, shrugging.
"That's your response? Really? Oh! What about those heels and this dress," said Serena holding up a short floral dress. The dress was yellow based and had pink flowers on it.
"Hmm, looks cool," muttered Casey.
"I think that April would look wonderful, as always," complemented Leo, causing April to blush from the attention.
"Huh? Yeah…I agree," Casey mumbled, jealous.
"Aw thanks," gushed April, hiding her face behind the dress.
Serena sighed and spoke, "Uh huh…ok, how about you try-"
The four then heard a scream, a Mikey-like scream, causing the group to freeze, and turn.
"Is that…" Serena started, but ran off before anyone could answer.
"Mikey," yelped Leo, rubbing towards the sound.
"Come on," exclaimed April, dragging Casey, dropping the shoes and dress in the process.
The group ran outside, following the sound of Mikey screaming, more like complaining.
"There!" Yelled April.
"Suki," exclaimed Serena, behind the three brothers, "watch out!"
"Huh? Oof!" Mikey questioned his sister but Raph pushed him down, while also grabbing Donnie and throwing him in the opposite direction, for one of the mobsters shot his gun in their direction.
When he missed, he grunted something in an alien language, the other mobsters nodded their heads.
"Why'd you throw me," yelped Donnie, "I already moved out of the way…"
"Are you all ok," asked a worried Leo, as Serena beat up the mobsters, there were only 3 after all.
"I guess," replied Donnie, massaging his shell, "I've been better."
"Damn that girl can fight," wheezed Casey, out of breath.
"Of course she can, she's a princess," replied April; while Serena giggled as she kicked the last guy.
"Well technically most royals don't know how to fight," explained Honeycutt.
"Oh, so it's really just Mikey and Serena," asked April.
"Well, no, there are others. But it's rare," explained Honeycutt.
"Thanks for the help, Raphie and Serena. Sorry for not listening Dee," said Mikey, turning to Donnie.
"Same," agreed Raph.
"It's ok," said Donnie, now smiling.
"I'm glad you're ok brother," sighed a grateful Serena.
"Oh please, like a gun could kill me," replied an overconfident Mikey.
"It actually could have," commented Donnie.
"Oh…oh then I'm glad I'm ok too," said Mikey, laughing.
"Can we go now," asked Casey, inpatient, "I don't want anything else to happen."
"Yep, I got what I needed," replied April.
"Mhm, me too," agreed Serena, as Mikey asked what she bought.
"I got-" Serena started but was cut off by another gun shot.
The startled group looks to see more mobsters with bigger guns.
"Um c-can anyone contact the professor," asked April, backing away.
"I can try," replied Donnie, blushing when April thanked him.
"Get 'em," yelled the leader, in English.
"Seriously, I hate shopping, like why more bad guys," asked Casey as Leo yelled "run!"
The present:
"Run faster," exclaimed Leo.
"I'm sorry for wanting to go shopping," yelled April, as Serena nodded.
The group was out of breath, for they had been running for about 15 minutes, straight.
"Told you something would happen," yelled Raph, as Mikey rolled his eyes.
"Now's not the time for your random remarks, Raph," Leo yelled back.
"How the fuck was that random, I was stating facts," yelled Raph.
"Language," exclaimed Leo.
"You called," asked Honeycutt, "oh my! What…"
"Run," yelled Donnie, dragging Honeycutt, as he asked what was happening.
"I…I don't know if I can go on," muttered Serena, slowing down.
"We have to, you have to, I think they're getting tired, they'll HAVE to stop soon," assured Mikey, pulling Serena in front of him.
"I umm don't know…" replied a skeptical Serena, looking back at her brother, "they don't seem tired," she said as the gunshots suddenly stopped, confusing the group.
They then turned around to see all the mobsters tied up or shot down with a glowing arrow.
"What in the world," muttered Honeycutt, "who defeated them so quickly?"
"Is…is that arrow glowing," asked April.
"Woah, thanks Mike or Serena," thanked Casey, still out of breath.
"Casey it wasn't us…" gasped Serena.
"Yeah," agreed Mikey.
"Then who the shell…" muttered Raph as Casey gasped.
"Who, umm what," asked a confused Leo, tilting his head.
"Is that…" started Serena.
"It is," exclaimed Mikey, smiling brightly.
"Oh what a wonderful surprise," giggled Serena, for she knew who the arrow belonged too; Mikey's guardian, Sailor Iris. This meant the guardians were near.
"Indead," agreed a grinning Mikey, "I'm so happy!"
"Huh," asked April, "why?"
"What now?" Grunted Raph, as Mikey and Serena were smiling at each other, "come on, spill."
"There's nothing to spill," defended Serena, "it's nothing!"
"Yeah, nothing…" Mikey agreed while gleaming at the arrows.
"Nothing? Mikey…" sighed Donnie.
"Knucklehead come on," groaned Raph.
"Mikey please, what's going on," asked Leo in a soft tone.
"Ugh, fine I'll tell you! Just stop looking at me like that, you're making me feel guilty…" muttered Mikey.
"Storytime," asked Casey.
"You sound like a child," grunted April.
"Yes Casey, storytime," replied Mikey.
"See? I was right," exclaimed Casey as April sighed.
"I don't know if my memories showed this, but I had guardians. My sailor senshi," explained Mikey.
"Oh yeah, it did, those little kids," recalled Donnie, "continue."
"Well, that arrow belonged to one to them," explained Mikey, smiling still, but more sadly.
"Really," asked Professor Honeycutt.
"Mhm, it belonged to Sailor Iris, I didn't know she was even alive…I'm glad, I just wish she would show herself, knowing her, she might have brought the others too. Meaning they refuse to reveal themselves."
"Refuse? Mikey, I'm sure they have a good reason not to show themselves," muttered Leo, placing a comforting hand on Mikey's shoulder.
"Yeah I agree but like, do you know why won't they," asked Casey, tilting his head to the right side.
"I…I don't know, but I'm just glad their alive," sighed Mikey, "my guardians work in mysterious ways, ways I don't understand."
"Brother, knowing them, they will show themselves when the time is right," assured Serena, "trust me, they know what to do!"
Mikey giggled, "yeah you're right, let's just go."
"…ok," Leo said, glancing at the glowing arrows, "I think we shopped enough anyways."
"You think," grunted an unamused Raph, Leo punched his arm playfully in response.
"Guys, calm down," sighed April.
"Let them be red, don't be a party pooper," replied Casey, grinning as April pouted.
"Yeah," agreed Mikey, jumping onto Leo's back.
"Oof! Mikey," exclaimed Leo, holding Mikey's legs tightly so that he won't fall.
"Hehehe," Mikey just giggled in response, "come on dude's, let's go!"
Leo, Raph, Mikey, Casey, April, and Serena all walked away, while Honeycutt stayed behind, Donnie was waiting for him.
"Interesting," muttered Honeycutt, secretly picking up an arrow, "I'll have to study you!"
"Professor," asked Donnie, "you coming?"
"Oh! Yes, yes," Honeycutt said hiding the arrow.
On top of a rooftop, four people stood.
"He's on to us," muttered Aron, "I told you you should have used your normal arrows!"
Emu sighed as she spoke, "I didn't know Serenity would notice, nor did a expect Mitsuki. I mean, I thought that I was discret!"
"We all know you can't be discreet, so don't you dare lie to yourself, Emu," stated Temu.
"Shut up you meanie," exclaimed Emu.
"Can you two shut up," requested Zemon.
"Sorry YoUr highneSs," Emu apologized as she mocked Zemon.
"I swear Emu, be quiet," stated Zemon, "I'm to depressed to deal with you…"
"Just because we can't talk to Mitsuki now, doesn't mean we can't soon," assured Aron, patting Zemon's back.
"Yeah, yeah. I know that, Sailor Pluto told us to wait untill after Suki and his friends fix Earth, but I HATE waiting," groaned Zemon, "I'm going after him."
"W-what," stuttered Aron, "he'll recognize you!"
"Yeah, you can't, moron," exclaimed Emu, standing in front of Zemon, "plus, Pluto said not to!"
"I don't care about Sailor Pluto's ideas, I want to see Mitsuki, don't you," replied Zemon.
"Of course we do," grunted Emu.
"And you should care," interrupted Temu, "if you want your future with him, follow the plan."
"I just don't want to wait, we have to deal with him getting hurt, and we, most of the time, can't do ANYTHING about it," muttered Zemon, stepping back.
"We will soon, we will see him soon," reminded Aron, "once Earth is better, the royal siblings will continue their traditional training, and we will accompany Mitsuki when he takes up his throne."
"Aron, Temu, and I will be his besties and bodyguards, while YOU, Zemon, will take up your position as his husband. Since you already are King of the Underworld," said Emu.
"I know, but I'm inpatient," sighed Zemon.
"All will end well, trust in Pluto's advice," said Temu.
Zemon sighed and then spoke, "to love Mitsuki, is to love the sun. For they both shine bright, and you cannot live without them, I can't live without him.
I've been waiting for years, until the right time; a time Sailor Pluto suggested would be right.
But, waiting makes me uneasy, what if something were to happen to our prince, my future husband. Without Mitsuki, what am I?"
"Oh Zemon, nothing will happen to him," assured Aron.
"You are many things, you're a moron, a dummy..,our friend, a king, and more," said Emu.
"Aw, is Emu being soft," mocked Temu.
"Shut up," exclaimed Emu, kicking Temu in the balls, Temu then grunted as he fell to the ground, "as I was saying, you are many things, and you don't have to worry about living a life without Suki, like I said, we'll see him soon!"
"Just stick to the plan," repeated Aron.
"Wait, did that robot take one of my arrows," asked Emu.
"Huh? Oh yeah, he did…" muttered Temu, as Aron looked over his shoulder.
"Maybe he's a scientist or something," said Aron, "and he wanted to study it."
"But he stole," said Emu.
"You can make more," replied Aron.
"I don't trust a thief to be with Suki," stated Zemon.
"Same," agreed Emu, "something seems off about him…"
"Will you too relax, your paranoia is showing," sighed Temu, as Aron laughed.
On the ship:
"That who experience basically ruined shopping for me…" sighed April.
"Wait actually?! NO MORE SHOPPING," exclaimed a happy Casey.
"I uh, seriously Case," sighed April, rubbing her forehead to calm herself down.
"Thanks for communicating with us Mikey," Donnie smiled as he spoke.
"Huh, uh…no problem dude," replied Mikey, "I'm kinda sleepy so imma go to bed, night guys!"
"Night," grunted Raph as Leo and Donnie waved.
"Puu…why didn't you tell me they were alive," muttered Mikey, crying.
