~Chapter twenty-two~

"Ugh…" groaned Mikey, sitting up.

"MIKEY," exclaimed his brothers as they all hugged him.

"Eh? Oh hey…" muttered Mikey, his head was slightly throbbing.

"We are SO glad that you're ok," sighed Donnie.

"Don't ever do that again, knucklehead," grunted Raph, smiling slightly.

"Pft ok, you big softie, so you DO care about me," giggled Mikey.

"Of course," said Raph.

"You our brother," added Donnie.

"And we promise that we will never hurt anyone that's sort of our family, especially you," completed Leo.

"A-aw…dudes…" cried Mikey, hugging his brothers. "Well, did it work," asked Mikey.

"Did what work," asked Donnie.

"The spell," answered Mikey, "are there two of you guys or…"

"Oh no! There's only one of us," replied Leo.

"Yeah," agreed Raph.

"Oh, good," sighed Mikey.

"Um hi," greeted Donnie, for he saw Sailor Pluto walk up to the brothers.

"Huh," asked Mikey turning around, "Puu?"

Setsuna bowed as she spoke, "Mitsuki ōji, puraibēto de hanashite mo īdesu ka?"

"Umm huh," asked Raph as Setsuna stood up.

"Hm? Tashikani Puu," replied Mikey, "I'll be right back!"

"Ok," said everyone else in the room.

"Puu, Anata wa nani ga hitsuyōdesu ka," asked Mikey, as he and Setsuna walked together.

"Watashi no ōji, remember Emu, Temu, Aron, and Zemon," asked Setsuna.

"Of course I remember," replied Mikey, "in fact, I'm confident that I saw one of Sailor Iris's arrows. Sore ni tsuite anata ni tazuneyou to omotte imashita."

"Gomen'nasai, Mitsuki, nani o mita nodesu ka," asked Setsuna, startled, for she didn't know the guardians basically revealed themselves.

"Serenity ga sore o shiteki shita, watashitachiha futari tomo kanojo no ya no Ippon o mimashita," explained Mikey.

"U ̄ n, sorede karera wa shitagawanakatta nodesu ne..." muttered Setsuna, "well, you're right. That was her arrow, they are alive."

"R-really? Why…why didn't you tell me or why didn't they contact me," asked Mikey.

"I told them not to contact you, I'm sorry. I knew something would happen, so I told them to wait untill Earth was safe," stated a guilty Setsuna.

Mikey stepped back, in shock, and he spoke, "w-what? Puu…Im sorry, first of all, you knew about Earth, secondly, you also knew about the senshi, and you telling me this, why?"

"Because it's the right time," replied Setsuna, walking away, "wait here."

"Excuse me? What do you mean right time," yelled out Mikey, "and now I'm talking to myself…"

"…that wouldn't be the first time, Suki," giggled a feminine voice.

"Huh," asked Mikey, jumping back, for he was startled, "oh! It's just you, Emu, don't scare me like th…wait…EMU?!"

"Hehehe, yes Suki," exclaimed Emu as she ran up to Mikey and hugged him.

"Nante kokoroatatamaru shunkandeshou," commented Temu, as Mikey pulled him and Aron into the hug.

"T-tight," Aron stuttered as he struggled to breathe.

"I don't care," muttered Mikey, "so shut up."

"Pft, hai," replied Aron.

Mikey sniffed as he spoke, "Mōnidoto an'nafūni watashi o kowagara senaide kudasai, anata-tachi wa min'na shinda no ka to omotta nodesu!"

"Shimasen yo, ōji," assured Temu, patting Mikey's back, "Shinjite kudasai, watashi wa son'na koto wa shimasen. Yarubeki koto ga takusan aru tokide wa arimasen."

"Eh, nani no shigoto? Temu…" muttered Mikey, tilting his head.

"Īe, aisuruhito yo, anata wa... Īe, watashitachiha ōshitsu no kunren o kanryō shinakereba narimasen," replied Zemon, walking over to the group as they all let go of each other.

"W-what," stuttered Mikey, "ZEMON?!"

"Yes my beloved…as I've said, we must continue and complete our royal training," restated Zemon.

"Roiyarutorēningu…what do you mean," asked Mikey, steeping closer to Zemon, he then placed his left hand on one of Zemon's cheeks.

"Yes, training," but in Emu.

"I'm still confused…" muttered Mikey.

"We weren't allowed to contact you until you were ready, which was AFTER the battle," stated Aron, "now, you, and Zemon, gotta train to rule!"

"Well, Zemon is already King of The Underworld, but isn't the King of The Sun Kingdom, so that's what he needs to train for, while you need to train for both," continued Emu.

"…I'm sorry, WHAT," exclaimed Mikey, "I can't just leave Earth to train!"

"Suki, you don't have to, we can train here," said Zemon.

"Yeah, so you can stay with your…family," added Emu.

"I..I need a moment to think," stated Mikey.

"Suki," said Zemon as he pulled Mikey back, "think of the future, we must continue, don't you want to?"

"Of course I do! I just…now is not the time, we just had a battle, let us relax," said Mikey.

"Anata ga nozomu mono wa nani demo, watashi no aisuruhito," replied Zemon, smiling.

"Watashi wa... Ikanakereba narimasen, kyōdai-tachi ga watashi o hitsuyō to shite iru yōna ki ga shimasu, demo ima dakede wa arimasen, kunren suru koto o yakusoku shimasu. Sate, minasan mo issho ni kimasen ka," said Mikey, tilting his head as he asked his guardians a question.

"We'll meet up with you, since you need to train, we must preypare a place to train," said Temu.

"Oh, ok, see you later, I'm so happy you all are ok," gleamed Mikey.

"And we're glad your ok," smiled Aron as the others nodded.

"See you soon," said Zemon as he leaning down to kiss Mikey.

"Mhm," said Mikey walking away.

Mikey hummed a song on his way back to his brothers, but when he got there, he saw them explaining the whole situation to the mutant-animals.

"My friends," said Leatherhead, "Was the explanation all true?"

"Yup," said Mikey, walking in, he then hugged his little sister close to him.

"You are telling me that YOU two are reincarnated SOULS from a millennia ago," said a skeptical Rockwell.

"It's true," said Honeycutt, "Even if they show you proof, there ARE books out there that depict the destruction of the Silver Millennium."

"Do you have ome of those kind of books," asked a curious Donnie, "I know that my little brother and Serena are siblings a long time ago, but I really just want to read what others have to say about it."

"Wasn't seeing their memories enough for you," asked Casey.

"Yes, I'm just curious," said Donnie.

It was a couple of days, after the battle, the turtles had benn telling their journey through space to everyone until the Senshi left to pursue their dreams, while coming in and out of the lair to make sure their princess and prince was in good hands.

Haruka was still glaring at Leo as Hotaru was asking a lot of questions about their journey like a good curious little girl she was.

Mikey explained, while Serena was out, that Haruka was ALWAYS like this to any boys or any alphas she's not used to.

"You had many trials, my friend," said Leatherhead.

"Hm," said Mikey, "I think that it's time for Serena and I to tell you all about the trials in Japan!"

"Are you sure," asked Serena, "Your brothers are going to blame me for most of the things."

"If they do," trailed off Mikey as he produced a fireball.

"No fireballs in the lair," sighed Splinter.

"Yes, papa," said a pouting Mikey as Donnie and Raph sighed in relief.

"Oh so THIS is the infamous lair…" muttered Temu.

"HUH, WHO," said everyone but Leatherhead and the siblings.

"Michelangelo, my friend, do you know them," asked Leatherhead.

"Indeed I do LH, everyone, meet my guardians: Emu, Temu, and Aron. Along with Prince…I'm sorry, KING Zemon," introduced Mikey, "guys, these are my friends and family!"

"King," repeated a shocked Leo.

"Nice to meet you all! Oh, hiya Serenity," greeted Emu.

"Hello Emu…how-" started a confused Serena.

"I just found out they were alive, like, a few minutes ago," said Mikey.

"Oh, so THESE are your guardians, who do the arrow belong to," asked Donnie.

"Oh, the arrows were mine," Emu said.

"How were they glowing," asked Casey, eating pizza, "yo Mike, want some?"

"Oh-" started Mikey.

"Without his favorite topping? Pft no, it's as if you all don't know Suki," said Zemon, scoffing.

"Zemon, play nice," sighed Mikey, "and yes, Casey, I would like to eat pizza."

"Umm…ok, cool," muttered Casey, getting up to get more pizza.

"I'm guessing this is the King," asked Slash.

"I am," said Zemon.

"You are, what are you even the King of," asked a scoffing Raph.

"Raphie…" muttered Mikey.

Zemon laughed, "me? I am King Zemon; the King of The Underworld, or, the Darklands. I am all the heir to the throne of the Sun Kingdom, to rule with my beloved Mi-"

Mikey lifted a hand to cover Zemon's mouth, "um, we get it, you're a king…DID YOU JUST LICK ME?!"

Mikey pushed Zemon away, and summoned fireballs as he aimed to throw them at his boyfriend, "MICHELANGELO, NO FIREBALLS," exclaimed Splinter.

The Mutanimals, especially Mondo Gecko, still got shocked over seeing Mikey controlling fire like that, even if Mikey explained to them that it was just his Sun powers.

"You'll get use to it, don't worry," assured Leo, as Serena started at his face, blushing.

Mikey knew that Serena fell for his oldest brother, but he wouldn't do anything just yet. He also knew that Leo was conflicted ever since he met Karai too. And speaking of Karai..

"Hey," said Mikey, "Where IS Karai?"

"Who," asked Aron.

"Our older sister," replied Leo.

"More family?" Zemon asked.

"Well," started Donnie, ignoring the guardians, "Karai fell into a tub of mutagen and got turned into a viper-like mutant."

"We have been trying to find her slithering self so that we can cure her," said Raph.

"If you DO find our older sister," said Mikey, "Maybe Nity and I can help. We DO have healing powers after all."

Raph and Donnie gasped at Mikey, "You could get hurt," said Donnie.

"I won't, trust me," Mikey said just as he saw Serena disappear in the dojo.

"Hm, anyways, I remember on time in Japan…" started Mikey.

In the dojo:

Serena, meanwhile, was looking in awe at the dojo, for there was a HUGE tree to the side.

She was wondering how the turtles and Papa Splinter actually grew a tree in the lair but came back to seeing Leo meditating.

Serena quietly sat down right in front of Leo and waited for Leo to notice her. She really didn't want to tell them about how she died and almost died.

Smelling some nervous pheromones, Leo opened his eyes and was surprised to see Serena right in front of him!

"Gah," exclaimed Leo as he backed away.

"Sorry," giggled Serena, "But, I didn't want to disturb you until you were done."

"W-Why are you here," asked Leo, blushing.

"Mikey wants to tell you guys ALL about our adventures in Japan," said Serena nervously

"Ah," said Leo, "I guess I do have some questions about his time in Japan. But first... Why are you nervous?"

"Just scared," said Serena.

"About what," asked Leo as he sat back down in front of Serena.

"W-What if you all get angry at me for dragging Suki around Japan to fight the monsters," started Serena, "W-What if you guys don't want me to be here with you... all?"

As Serena looked at the floor nervously, Leo thought back to the astral plane where his second meeting with Mikey took place.

Leo remembered that Mikey was so overprotective of Serena as Mikey explained some things of what Serena went through before he got there.

He was sure that Mikey would protect Serena, even from them.

Turning back to the matter at hand, Leo just couldn't help to think see looked cute when she was nervous.

He was in the dojo for a reason, and since it was just Serena and him, he decided to act on that reason.

"Serena," said Leo seriously, "No matter what happened with Mikey and you in Japan, we will not turn you away from our home," he said as he hugs Serena, " I will not turn you away."

"W-Wha," questioned a blushing Serena.

"I could never turn you away," said Leo, "E-Ever since we talked after viewing your memories incident, I-l kind of... sort of... developed feelings for you?"

"Was that a question," asked Serena with some mirth in her eyes.

"I was in here trying to sort out these feelings for you and a-another girl," admitted Leo.

"Oh," asked Serena curiously, "And you concluded that you like me more than the other?"

"Pretty much," said a chuckling Leo, "So... uh... now that you know... don't think that we, well more I, will push you out after you explain your Japan adventures to us. I can't really speak for the others."

"S-Since you are being honest," started Serena as she looked at Leo, "II kind of... sort of... d-developed feelings for you, too."

"Y-You did," asked Leo in surprised.

Serena nodded shyly while blushing a lot. Leo was over the moon that he hugged Serena closer to him. However, the moment was ruined when a cough behind the two signaled someone was there.

Leo and Serena slowly turned around to see, in dread, EVERYONE who was waiting for them.

Donnie had a recorder in hand. He was SO going to use it as blackmail as Master Splinter smiled kindly at the two.

Raph was smirking, happy to know that Leo was NOT going to be with Karai, because, you know...He still didn't trust her, even IF she's supposed to be his older sister.

Casey and the Mutanimals were smirking or smiling at the two while April cooed at how cute the two were together.

However, it was MIKEY's reaction that got everyone to start laughing.

"Kisama…… kisama, imōto kara hanarero..." exclaimed Mikey.

"Eep," said Leo as he ran off with Mikey hot on his tail.

"Get back here," shouted Mikey as he chased Leo, "My sister isn't going to date you until you prove yourself!"

"Not when you are like this Mikey," shouted back Leo as he rushed out of the dojo.

"Onichan," cried out Serena as she ran after Mikey who was chasing Leo out, "Atarashi boifurendo o kizatsukenaide kudasai!"

"Boyfriend," echoed Leo and Mikey in English.

"Boyfriend," echoed everyone else who also heard the katakana saying for the word.

"Nīsan, hanashite wa ikemasen, Zemon ga iru nodesu," smirked Serena.

"Damn right he has me," muttered Zemon while Mikey blushed.

"T…that's different," Mikey explained, "Anata wa waka sugirunode dēto wa dekimasen!"

"Waka sugiru?! Hitotsu toshiuedesu ne!" Yelped Serena.

"Kids," said Master Splinter as he shook his head at the scene.

It wasn't long that Mikey caught up with Leo and gave him the TALK about not hurting Serena or else consequences will happen.

It wasn't long that Serena and Leo were sitting together while Serena and Mikey told their Japan adventures.

In the end, everyone did a party with lots and lots of pizza because... you know... Shredhead is dead and Mikey is back with his family... BOTH of his family.

Mikey was brought out of his train of thoughts when Serena leaned in and kissed Leo.

"...Nani?! Otagai o tōzakero!" Exclaimed Mikey, as Emu giggled, "Suki, let them be!"

"Yeah, anyways you're not own to talk, big brother," giggled Serena.

"Huh," asked Donnie.

"Onēsan, tsutsushinde damattete kudasai," said Mikey, smiling elegantly.

"How about…no. They should know," replied Serena, hugging Leo.

"Know what," asked Leo.

"Nothing," sighed a nervous Mikey.

"You didnt tell them," yelped Aron.

"Tell us what," asked Raph.

"Zemon to kon'yaku shimashita!" Exclaimed a flushed Mikey.

"Musuko yo, nani?!" Yelled an overprotective Splinter.

"Papa…" muttered Mikey.

"Huh? What," Donnie asked, confused.

"Oh my gosh, Mikey and Zemon are engaged; they have been since the Silver Millennium. There, it's not that hard," said Temu.

"WHAT," yelled mostly everyone.

"Temu…" pouted Mikey, "you're to straightforward!"

"I don't know why you were embarrassed. Our love is, quite literally, set in stone. I actually saw a journalist write about the Silver Millennium on a rock, there it included us," said Zemon.

"Wait, actually?" Mikey asked.

Zemon turned to Mikey, "mhm, yeah, weird right?"

Mikey looked around as he thought, this is the life. Both of my families are together, though Serena and Leo are a different thing.

Yet, he does hope that nothing else will happen in the future. And that he... Raph, Donnie, and Leo will keep their promise to be better brothers, little did they know, this was just the beginning.
