(Somewhere, In a Desert)
Mario is seen falling out of a portal with his Kart, He crashes into a Rock Pillar and falls down. As Mario wakes up, He sees that his Kart is destroyed, He rushes to it to check on it. He digs through and sees that a specific part is undamaged.
(Present Day)
Mario gets out of bed and checks the mail. As He looks through, There is one that has Bowser's Stamp on it.
"Dear Pesky Plumber, I have once again kidnapped the Princess, But this time I made sure you couldn't get to her, so I dare you to try. - Bowser "
Mario sighs, and then pulls out a remote control, Which activates a Cannon that shoots directly to Bowser's Castle. He jumps in and blasts off.
(Meanwhile, At Bowser's Castle)
Bowser's Minions were finishing up the Machine Bowser ordered them to build, One Koopa was busy finishing up the Primary Engine, Built with the Materials of a Metal Cap. At the Throne, Bowser is still waiting for Mario, A Goomba then comes in, informing Bowser about a flying fat man. Afterwards, Mario comes crashing into the castle, Sticking the landing of course. As Mario landed, Koopas and Goombas attacked, Mario grabbed the first Koopa and used it as a Hammer, Smashing Each Goomba on sight, He then kicked the shell into the other Koopas. The Hammer Bros then came in, Throwing all their hammers at Mario, But Mario caught them all and juggled them. One Hammer Bro ran away while the other one stood its ground, But it ended up being slammed into the bottom of the Castle. Mario afterwards pulled out a Lazy Shell and flew off to confront Bowser.
(With the Koopa)
The Primary Engine is finished and ready for the machine, The Koopa tells a Goomba to deliver the Engine to Bowser.
(In the Throne Room)
Mario crashes in with the Lazy Shell and directs it at Bowser, Who manages to catch and shatter it, "Alright, where is she?" said Mario who is obviously just not in the mood today. Bowser looks at him and pulls the rope beside him on his left, showing the Machine that's also beside him by his right. "Introducing… Timulator 2.0! A.K.A….. Chronox!" Bowser said Introducing the Machine to the Plumber, Mario was shocked Bowser was able to get the Materials to build another time machine, The first idea that pops into his mind is to destroy the Machine before Bowser uses it. Mario secretly used a Stopwatch, to make sure Bowser won't get in his way, Once he attempted to destroy the Timulator, Someone kicks him back to where he stood before.
(With the Goomba who was delivering the Primary engine)
The Delivery was taking some time as the Goomba couldn't hold the Weight of it for long.
(Back at the Throne Room)
Mario gets up to see what hit him, But he is picked up by Metal Arm and is then thrown to the side. "Meet the Future, Layal Dagon!" Bowser introduced, Mario managed to capture a glimpse of what he was facing, A Black Haired, Purple cloaked woman. He quickly got up, and was ready to face her, Layal threw the first punch, which Mario dodged of course, But the Punch was thrown by the Metal Arm, which attempted to swing back right behind Mario head, But Mario managed to notice and duck in time, then attacked Layal with a Leg Sweep, Bringing her to the ground. Layal retailated by mimicing one of Mario's moves, The Super Jump Punch, Which sends Mario flying back a few feet, Bowser laughs at Him for not being able to dodge that, But Time freezes, onces it resumes, Mario is behind Layal and begins to use a new skill, Fire Flash. Mario holds his hand high and Slashes at Layal, Damaging and incapacitating her, "Ah Crap, When can he do that?!" Bowser said. The Plumber sets his eyes at Bowser, Ready to beat him once again, But Bowser jumps right into Chronox, even though the engine isn't inside of it yet, but it worked even without the help of, causing serious problems for the Space-Time Continumm. The Goomba finally arrives to the Throne Room with the Primary Engine only to find out that Machine is already activated, Mario sees the Goomba and takes the Engine, He presses a button on one of the knuckles of his glove, His Kart crashes into the Castle out of nowhere, Which crushes the goomba. Chronox continues to distort the Space-Time Continumm, forcing Mario to shove the Engine into his Kart and attempt to drive away, Layal manages to latch onto the Kart as Mario drives. The Castle begins to be engulfed by the Chronox's Power, Mario attempts to get away as fast as he can, But The Primary Engine begins to activate, and Mario's Kart disappears in a Flash of light, along with the Castle. Mario begins to drive through a Time Tunnel, As he goes through, He suddenly remember Toadstool and questions where was she during all of this.
(Meanwhile, At the Mushroom Kingdom)
Surprisingly, Peach was never kidnapped, Bowser just wanted Revenge for all the times Mario had beaten him.
(Back in the Time Tunnel)
Mario continues to drive through, But behind him is a distorted figure of Bowser chasing after him. Mario drives faster this time before he can be grabbed, But the Time Tunnel reaches its end, and Mario falls through.
(In a Desert, Back at where we were.)

He digs through and sees that the Chronox Primary Engine is undamaged, Mario sees where he is, or when he is, But he sees a Train Station nearby, So Mario puts the Engine in his pocket heads over to it.
