Rylee went out to explore Gotham searching for a job and saw an event going on. She saw people snapping photos of a man with two women by his side asking questions after questions. That didn't seemed to interest her sensing someone standing next to her. "Rich man?" Said Rylee. "Bruce Wayne to be exact. I'm assume your new." Said the man. "Rylee Sullivan." Said Rylee looking at him. "Detective Ethan Bennett." Said the man. "Police officer." Said Rylee. "More or less." Said Ethan. "Well is there any tips about this city? I already encountered a bank robbery on my first day." Said Rylee. "I have gotten word about that but I'm surprised that Batman come in. Now a SpiderWoman?" Said Ethan. "Batman and SpiderWoman?" Said Rylee raising a brow. "I know the names sound but it's Gotham. Crawling with freaks." Said Ethan. "Should've bought pepper spray but then again Spider Nova isn't really a threat." Said Rylee. "You know who she is?" Said Ethan. "She saved my life back home. Nobody knows where she came from." Said Rylee. "Sounds familiar. Tell me what you know over some coffee? My friend will be meeting me there to talk about her." Said Ethan. "But I barely know I thing. I doubt I can be any help." Said Rylee. "Worth a shot." Said Ethan leading the way. He and Rylee walk into a cafe having a seat by the window ordering their drinks and talked. "She literally has venom to paralysis her target? Does she have fangs?" Said Ethan as a woman sat down next to him. "Claws from what the witnesses have seen. She makes scratches where the venom can enter the bloodstream making them drop like a corpse for an hour or more by how much she put in without killing." Said Rylee. "Rylee meet Ellen Yin. She also a detective. Rylee was telling me what she knows about SpiderWoman or SpiderNova." Said Ethan. "Really and I take it's good news or bad?" Said Yin. "She's not threat apparently. Like Batman but mutant." Said Ethan. "That's what my parents believe. They had a project to find cures but it was stolen from a company that been after it for a weapon. We lost everything because of that." Said Rylee.
"And you think whoever is SpiderNova is a walking experiment." Said Yin as Rylee shrugged. "Please don't tell anyone. There's still people out wanting to get of a hold of my family for whatever created SpiderNova. We practically had to hide." Said Rylee. "Your secret is safe with us." Said Yin. "Hopefully and if you ever face her don't mention it." Said Rylee. "We understand." Said Tina's their walkies went off. "We have a Joker attack by the Gotham bridge." Said one of the officers. "We need to go. Thanks for the information and be on the look out." Said Yin as they left. Rylee paid and left a tip taking her coffee to go seeing a few police cars passing by. She walked down the street finishing up and disappeared into the alley to be Spider Nova. Once she was suited up Rylee jumped on the brick wall crawling up to the roof and shot out two webs from each wrist and walked backwards to catapult high up to the skyscrapers. Swinging down the busy streets soaring between the cars Rylee swung up to move to the closest build to make a turn. She soon found a black,blue, and grey speeding car on her trail and saw three men throwing gas bombs at the bridge. Rylee let go of her web to flip down onto the van purple van getting their attention. "Funny I was expecting a bat not a Spider." Said the man with green hair dressed in a purple clown like suit without any shoes. "I prefer a mime. But this is the first for me." Said Rylee with her voice changer. She jumped off the van landing on one of the large clown guys wrapped one leg around his neck twisted her body around to flip him. "Nice trick." Said Joker smiling. "Not." He says pulling out a party popper ready to shoot. Rylee blocked it with her web and backflips for the second guy clown to get punched by a man dressed a bat. She landed upsidedown on the top beam looking at the two men who looked up at her surprised. "So you're the famous Batman that I've been hearing about. And I'm assuming you're a clown version of Beetlejuice?" Said Rylee tilting her head to the left. "It's Joker. Punchline squish her." Said Joker. Rylee got throwing a few quick punched at Punchline while Batman fought against Joker and the other mime. She then got caught by the throat for second and thrown off the bridge.
Rylee fell for a moment before shooting a web to swing her way back up with her right leg sticking straight out to kick mine in her head knock him out. She shot another web to restrain him and went to help Batman with the Joker. Joker threw some explosives at the two but Rylee jumped and flipped around firing her webs at his direction. He then tackled her to the ground but Rylee moved out the way for Batman kick him in the chest and a web trapped him against this van by Rylee. "Nice to work along side with Batman." Said Rylee shooting two webs on each side of the bridge to catapult her way to the buildings swinging away from the scene. She gotten onto a roof to watch the fops arrest the joker and his henchmen. Rylee felt something off and reached behind her neck near her hood to find a bug. She turned around find Batman standing behind her observing before handing his bug back. "Who are you?" Said Batman. "SpiderNova. I already know about you but not interested on the identity like everyone else." Said Rylee. "Noted but why are you here?" Said Batman. "Im not going to steal your spotlight or something. Like you. I have a life behind the mask." Said Rylee. "But not everyone can stick like spiders do. I want to know more about who or what you are." Said Batman. "You're a brilliant man. Figure that mystery out." Said Rylee. Batman hummed before his phone beeped looking down as Rylee left him alone on the roof. He watched her swing off around the corner and called his Batmobile tp back to his place. Rylee walked out pf the alley looking to find no one seeing her on her way to her apartment. She unlocked the door going in stretching her limps and did her normal thing like texting Ethan or messing around with her new gadgets.
