Infiltrate SOL's Cyber Fortress
It's evening. At Café Nagi, "It's the schematics for SOL Technologies mother computer" Yusaku states as he and Kusanagi investigate the program they were given by Ghost Girl, while Daisuke watches. They find that SOL's data bank is in the middle of a labyrinth-like structure. "Yeah. And this is…" Kusanagi said and he pushed a button on the keyboard. "The backdoor route to the data bank" He states, as Ghost Girl had already traced the path through the labyrinth. "Ghost Girl had this?" Yusaku wonders. "But if she already had this why would she Duel you, and not go in herself?" Daisuke confuses. "Yeah, that is strange" Kiseki agrees. "Even among top hackers, there aren't many who's this good" Ai states. "She's incredible" He's impressed. "She's special. Who is she?" Kusanagi wonders. Kusanagi took a sip of coffee as they all stared at the screen. "I'll be ready before school ends" Kusanagi informs them. "Stop by later" He tells them. "We'll infiltrate the mother computer tonight" Kusanagi states. "Okay" Yusaku said. "Right" Daisuke said. Both of them then look back at the screen.
The next day, Yusaku and Daisuke were walking to school. They listen to a lecture in a classroom. Yusaku looks outside. After the lecture, Yusaku and Daisuke was walk in the corridor looking around, as well as the Duel Club. "Zaizen? She hasn't come to school, much less the club" Shima says. "It's been awhile" He states. "I see. She hasn't shown up" Yusaku said. "I knew she was an introvert" Shima says. "But now she doesn't even come to school" He states. "Anyway, in LINK VRAINS-" Shima said, but Yusaku and Daisuke had already disappeared. Outside of the school grounds "Since that day, Blue Angel hasn't shown up in LINK VRAINS" Yusaku notes. "Maybe her brother is blocking access" Ai thinks. "Telling her to stop being a Duelist" He states. "It seems that this brother of her's is ever overprotected of his sister" Daisuke states. "Indeed" Kiseki agrees. "But after what happened, can you blame him?" Ai asks. "You mean when you Duel her when she was being uses by the Knights of Hanoi?" Daisuke asks.

Yusaku remembers his Duel with Blue Angel.

"Are you worried about that cutie?" AI question. "As a Duelist, it shouldn't end like this" Yusaku states. "Maybe she'll show up when the heat dies down" Ai said. "Let's just hope that her pride wasn't hurt" Daisuke states. "Yeah…" Kiseki agrees. At the Zaizen home "Not permitted to leave!" Their housebot prevents Aoi from leaving her room, as usual. "As ordered by your brother" It states. Aoi drank some water from a bottle and went back to her room. Later that night, Aoi was looking outside, she then decides to see what's happening in LINK VRAINS for the first time in a while.
Meanwhile "You hacked into my company's mother computer…and gave the data to Playmaker?" Akira asks Ghost Girl. "What are you thinking?" He questions her. "Don't you want to know what happened ten years ago?" Ghost Girl asks Akira. "And how your company was involved?" She adds as a butterfly appeared. "But that's top secret of top secrets" Akira states. "Due to your demotion, you don't have authority to find out" Ghost Girl states. "Even though you work in the data room all day" She points out. Akira looks at her. "What if Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie infiltrates the mother computer?" Ghost Girl suggested. "Kitamura, your successor as Security Manger…will be eager to eliminate both Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie" She states. "Because he'll be held responsible" Ghost Girl said. "So if we use that opportunity to infiltrate the mother computer, no one will notice" She explains. "And who is this Miracle Valkyrie?" Akira asks. "She's Playmaker's ally and she also has the same AI as him too" Ghost Girl explains. "What?!" Akira shocked. "So to use Playmaker and this Miracle Valkyrie as decoys…you lost on purpose and gave them the secret data?" He realizes. "I didn't lose on purpose" Ghost Girl states. "Well, fine. I understand" Akira said. "If my company is covering up its involvement ten years ago, I can't ignore it" He states. "Let's hope all goes well" Akira said, and logs out. "Anyway…" Ghost Girl said. "I know you're there. Blue Angel" She states, looking at the butterfly, which shocked Aoi. "She knew!" She exclaims. "Want a chance to restore your reputation?" Ghost Girl asks her.
A while later, SOL Technologies trial their latest security bots. "Prototype A, B and C have switched to Duel Mode" A SOL Technologies technician states. "The Duel will begin" Another technician states. "Begin the Duel!" A Third technician declares. "Speed Duel!" The three Prototypes declare. "Activation status, both normal" A technician states. "Increase thinking speed by 20%" Another technician said. "Roger. Thinking speed, up 20%" A third technician said. "I've created AI Duelists using 100% artificial intelligence" Kitamura thinks. "They're near completion" He thought. "I Special Summon Tentacluster Darkwhip" Prototype Ai-A states (ATK: 100). "Prototype A, processing speed 7% up" A technician reports. The three Prototypes continue their Speed Duels, while the technicians work on their program. "They're excellent tools. Wonderful" Kitamura thinks. "I activate the Continuous Spell, Abyss Invitation" Ai-B states. "Prototype Ai-B, reflex speed 5% up" A technician reports. "Yes, AIs are nothing more than tools for humans" Kitamura thought. "People use AIs, not the other way around" He thinks. "I activate the Trap Card, Abyss Hole!" Prototype Ai-C declares. "Prototype C, reaction speed 6% up" A technician reports. "Zaizen, that's what you don't understand" Kitamura thinks. "Your era is over" He chuckles. At Café Nagi "There must be a lead to the incident ten years ago at the center in the data bank" Kusanagi states. "Incident ten years ago…" Yusaku mutters. "The truth of what happened…" Daisuke whispers. "Yeah, I hope there is" Ai states. "Me too" Kiseki agrees. "There are many security traps blocking your way to the center" Kusanagi tells Yusaku and Daisuke. "I've already created ways to deal with them" He states. "You work fast" Yusaku comments. "I can't wait to see how you deal with those traps" Daisuke said. "Leave it to me" Kusanagi tells them. "We're linked to SOL's mother computer" Ai states. Yusaku, Daisuke and Kusanagi stares at the screen. "Hey, aren't you going?" Ai asks. "#1: This data may not be credible" Yusaku states. "#2: Why did Ghost Girl give us this data?" He question. "Why? Because you won the Duel" Ai states. "Even if that's true…" Yusaku states. "#3: Ghost Girl won't do something unless it benefits her" He points out. "I was think the exactly the same thing" Daisuke said. "Why are you saying this now?" Ai wonders. "I said it might be a trap from the start!" He states. "Lost your nerve?" Ai asks. "I didn't say I wasn't going" Yusaku states. "He's just saying that it never hurts to be careful" Kusanagi states. "And what about you?" Kiseki asks Daisuke. "I agree that we need to be caution" Daisuke states. "What's with that!" Ai annoyed. "Humans are so annoying" He states. "That's what makes them interesting" Kiseki states.
Yusaku wastes no time, trapping Ai in his Duel Disk and Kiseki when back into Daisuke's Duel Disk. "Deck Set! Into the VRAINS!" Yusaku and Daisuke declare. Yusaku became Playmaker and Daisuke became Miracle Valkyrie. Both of them enter the SOL's mother computer. Kusanagi send a device to Playmaker and Miracle Valkyire "Take this, Yusaku! Daisuke!" He tells them. The devices materialized and Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie grab one of them, and it helps them get through the labyrinth more quickly. "Move vertically down from Point 434" Kusanagi tells them. "Roger" Playmaker replies. "Got it" Miracle Valkyrie replies. Kusanagi watches through the monitors. Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie then dives down "Maintain speed and continue diving" Kusanagi tell them. "Roger" Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie replies. "Unlike LINK VRAINS, this place is desolate" Ai comments. "We can't be sure about that" Kiseki states. "And this tail… So uncool" Ai points out. "I have to agree…" Kiseki said. "As long as it's connected, it emits jamming waves so that you won't be detected" Kusanagi explains. "I know, but…" Ai said. "Maybe you could so make it less visible?" Kiseki suggested. "At Depth 5160, switch to horizontal" Kusanagi tells them. Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie then went horizontal. "Good. Keep going straight" Kusanagi tells them. "We don't know what's up ahead" Ai points out. "It's testing our courage" He comments. "Courage, huh…" Miracle Valkyrie mutters. "Some wrong?" Kiseki asks. "No, just reminiscence" Miracle Valkyrie states. "Turn right at the end" Kusanagi said. Both of them turn right. "Turn on the third left corner" Kusanagi said and they did. Then something flashed red. "What? Something's coming!" Ai notices. "Be careful! If you hit it, you'll be erased!" Kusanagi warns them as a pink fragment is launched towards them. "It's a security trap!" Playmaker states. "What?!" Miracle Valkyrie gasps. Both of them dodge it. "Another one is coming!" Ai warns them. "What?!" Kiseki gasps. "I set Sphere Kuriboh!" Kusanagi states as he types. "Use it as a decoy!" He tells them. Then a Sphere Kuriboh attacked the security trap. "Take the side road and turn right immediately!" Kusanagi tells them and they did. They passed more security traps. Then as soon as one appeared in front of them a second Sphere Kuriboh attacked the security trap. "You only have one Sphere Kuriboh left!" Ai tells Playmaker. Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie turn right. Kusanagi watches them. Both Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie dodges the green fragments and went up and turned right. Multiple security traps were heading towards them, but they dodged them, then the last Sphere Kuriboh hits one of them, creating a flash of light which both Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie went through. "Good. Keep going straight" Kusanagi tells them and they did. "You're almost through Area A!" Kusanagi informs them. "That was easy! Let's get to the goal!" Ai said. "I'm getting a feeling it's not over yet" Kiseki comments. But, before they can finally move past Area A of the labyrinth, a Data Storm blocks they way. "What? A Data Storm?" Ai confuses. "What?" Kiseki gasps. Both Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie stops in front of the Data Storm. "There's a Data Storm here?" Ai wonders. "But how?" Kiseki wonders. "We have to go through?" Playmaker wonders. "It seems so" Miracle Valkyrie said. "It's too dangerous!" Kusanagi thought. "We have to give up-"He contemplates. "No. If we dive deeper, the Data Storm's effect will be…" Kusanagi evaluates. Both Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie went towards the Data Storm, and then they hear a noise behind them and looked, and gasp. Two pink fragments attacks them and servers their life line. "The tail!" Ai exclaims. "This is bad!" Kiseki exclaims. Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie holds their devices in front of them. "Flee!" Kusanagi tells them. Both Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie were pulled into the Data Storm.
The two pink fragments and the two devices disappear as they were whipped around in the Data Storm. Then in SOL Technologies a security alarm went off. "W-What's going on?" Kitamura asks seeing that his security system has been breached. "Intruders in the mother computer!" One of his subordinates answers. "What?" Kitamura surprised. "I'll put it on screen!" Another subordinate said, and show Kitamura the culprits on their feed, which shows both Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie as they summons their Duel Boards. "P-Playmaker! Miracle Valkyrie!" Kitamura shocked. "They know we're here!" Kusanagi warns them as they ride inside the Data Storm.
"Now what will you do, Playmaker? Miracle Valkyrie?" Emma wonders as she and Akira watches. Both Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie continues to ride in the Data Storm with Emma watching them. "Why are they here?" Kitamura questions. Kitamura was getting annoyed. "Redirect Prototype A, B and C Immediately!" He orders. "Exterminate Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie!" Kitamura exclaims. Then trio of green, red and yellow materialize from behind Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie, chasing after them. "Duelists?" Playmaker wonders. "I don't think so…" Miracle Valkyrie states. "Found Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie" Prototype Ai-A report. "They're 100% AI Duelists!" Ai states. "This isn't good!" Kiseki gasps. "SOL Technologies can make these?" Playmaker wonders. "It looks like it" Miracle Valkyrie states. "Beginning Speed Duel" Prototype Ai-B states. "Hey! Didn't they tech you that Duels are 1-on-1?" Ai questions. "You're forgetting about Tag Duels" Kiseki states. "Analyzing opponent" Prototype Ai-C states.
"It's going as planned" Akira observes. "Kitamura sent his precious AI squad" He states. "He's desperate" Emma points out. "C'mon. Let's go" She tells Akira holding up her Duel Disk. "Yeah" Akira agrees and holds up his Duel Disk. "Into the Vrains!" Both of them declares and logs in. "Shessh! No one taught them manners!" Ai annoyed. "That's not the problem here!" Kiseki snap. "We can't Duel them normally" Ai states. Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie tries to get away, but the three AI Duelists surrounds them. "What will you do, Playmaker?" Ai asks. "What about you, Miracle Valkyrie?" Kiseki asks. Both Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie turns 90 degrees to dodge the three bots. "Hey, Playmaker! Miracle Valkyrie!" Kitamura panics as they return to the labyrinth. "Don't turn this into a bigger deal!" He thought. "Give me a break!" Kitamura flusters. "Split into three groups. Formation D!" Prototype Ai-A said and the three spilt up. "Hurry! As fast as possible!" Kitamura thought as he watch the Prototypes split up and enters the labyrinth. "Before the higher-ups learn about this!" He panics. "If they find out, I'm finished!" Kitamura worries about losing his job at that point, and slumps on his chair. "But if I win this Duel…" Kitamura thought. "They'll support AI Duelists, and I'll acquire the Ignis!" He realizes. "And my reputation will rise!" Kitamura fathoms. "This is a unique opportunity!" He smiles. "Okay, Playmaker! Miracle Valkyrie! Just you two wait!" Kitamura said as he stands up.
Meanwhile, the Prototype Ai-A had found Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie and moves ahead of them. "I was waiting for this!" Ai exclaims, and Prototype Ai-A looks at them. Then Prototype Ai-C came from behind them. "We'll handle this one!" Kiseki states and Miracle Valkyrie turns to face Prototype Ai-C. "We didn't run away. "We'll prove it" Ai said. "We'll show you how we do things!" Kiseki declares. "A Duel is 1-on-1" Playmaker states. "So we're going to Duel separately" Miracle Valkyrie states. "Switching to Duel Mode" Prototype Ai-A and Prototype Ai-C states. "Prototype A will be Dueling Playmaker and Prototype C will be Dueling Miracle Valkyrie" One of Kitamura's subordinate reports. "You must win! Losing is not allowed!" Kitamura orders. "My promotion depends on it!" He states. "Speed Duel!" Playmaker and Prototype Ai-A declare. "Speed Duel!" Miracle Valkyrie and Prototype Ai-C declares. "My turn" Prototype Ai-A states. "I pay 500 LP to Special Summoned Tentacluster Darkwhip from my hand" It states (Prototype Ai-A's LP: 3500) (ATK: 100). "From my hand, I activate the Spell Card, Machine Duplication" Prototype AI-A said. "I Special Summon two Darkwhips from my deck" It explains (ATK: 100x2). "It's ready!" One of Kitamura's subordinates states. "Begin Link Summon!" Another subordinate declares. "Circuit open!" Prototype Ai-A declares as it put its arm out and a green light flashes from its palms. Prototype Ai-A raise its arms up and a Link Summoning portal appeared above it. "Summoning conditions are three Tenaclusters" Prototype Ai-A explains. "I set three Darkwhips" It states and the three Darkwhips went into the Link portal. "Link Summon" Prototype Ai-A said. "Link 3 Tentacluster Nautilus!" It declares (ATK: 0 ↙↓↘). "Link Summon successful!" One of Kitamura's subordinates reports. "Operation efficiency 999.98%!" Another subordinate states. "Summoning speed 0.8% higher than before!" A third subordinate reports. This all make Kitamura smiles.
"My turn" Prototype Ai-C said. "When there are no monsters on the field I can Special Summon Tentacluster Haggler from my hand" It states (ATK: 100). "When this card is Normal or Special Summoned I can Special Summon two Tentacluster Haggler from my deck" Prototype Ai-C explains (ATK: 100x2). "It's ready!" One of Kitamura's subordinates states. "Begin Link Summon!" Another subordinate declares. "Circuit open!" Prototype Ai-C declares as it put its arm out and a yellow light flashes from its palms. Prototype Ai-C raises its arms up and a Link Summoning portal appeared above it. "Summoning conditions are three Tentaclusters" Prototype Ai-C explains. "I set three Hagglers" It states and the three Hagglers went into the Link portal. "Link Summon" Prototype Ai-C said. "Link 3 Tentacluster Nautilus!" It declares (ATK: 0 ↙↓↘). "Link Summon successful!" One of Kitamura's subordinates reports. "Operation efficiency 999.98%!" Another subordinate states. "Summoning speed 0.8% higher than before!" A third subordinate reports. This also makes Kitamura smiles.
"Tentacluster Nautilus's effect activates" Prototype Ai-A and Prototype Ai-C states. "By Link Summoning this monster…I Special Summon Tentacluster Drillworm from my hand next to its link" Prototype Ai-A explains (ATK: 600). "I Summon another Tentacluster Drillworm from my hand" Prototype It states (ATK: 600). "By Link Summoning this monster…I Special Summon Tentacluster Crinoidiod from my hand next to its link" Prototype Ai-C explains (ATK: 500). "I Summon another Tentacluster Crinoidiod from my hand" It states (ATK: 500). "Good. Show them that AI Duelists have great specs!" Kitamura said. "Due to Tentacluster Nautilus's effect…once per turn, it can destroy monsters that it's linked to" Prototype Ai-A and Prototype Ai-C explains, and both Drillworms and Crinoidiods were destroyed. "Tentacluster Drillworm's effect now activates" Prototype Ai-A states. "I select one random card in your hand and send it to the Graveyard" It explains. "Tentacluster Crinoidiod's effect activates" Prototype AI-C states. I select one random card from your hand and banished it from play" It explains. From Playmaker, Flick Clown was sent to the Graveyard, while Miracle Valkyrie's Cybacle Fairy was banished from play. "If this effect sends a monster card to the Graveyard…another card in your hand goes to the Graveyard" Prototype Ai-A explains and Duel Assembwurm was sent to the Graveyard. "If this effect banished a monster card from play…another card in your hand is banished from play" Prototype AI-C explains and Cybacle Mare was sent to the Graveyard. "It's a hand destruction deck" Playmaker states. "Over here we've got a same here, but in our case they are banished" Miracle Valkyrie states. "These decks has no flavour" Ai comments. "I agree…" Kiseki states. "Actually, it's a viable strategy" Playmaker said. "Yeah" Miracle Valkyrie agrees. "So deadpan. Are you two AI?" Ai comments. "That's not it…" Kiseki states. "Due to the other Drillworm's effect, I send another card in your hand to the Graveyard" Prototype Ai-A explains. "If it's a monster card, another card is sent to the Graveyard" It explains as Linkslayer was sent to the Graveyard, then Cynet Defrag. "Due to the other Crinoidiod's effect, I send another card from your hand is banished from play" Prototype Ai-C explains. "If it's a monster card, another card is banished from play" It explains as Cybacle Pixie was banished from play, then Cyber Reboot. "I end my turn" Prototype Ai-A and Prototype Ai-C states.
"You have no luck whatsoever" Ai comments. "If it chose Cynet Defrag first, you could've kept Linkslayer" He states. "I bet you're horrible at old maid" Ai said. Be quiet!" Playmaker tells Ai. "Luck depends on oneself" Kiseki explains. "There'll be other ways to defeat them" She points out. "Yeah…" Miracle Valkyrie agrees. "But…where did the third one go?" She wonders. "My turn! I draw!" Playmaker declares. "My turn! Draw!" Miracle Valkyrie declares. As they make their turn, Ghost Girl and Akira move towards the data bank. "Why is Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie having so much trouble?" Ghost Girl wonders. "I banish Drillworm from my Graveyard to activate its effect" Prototype Ai-A states and one Drillworm was banished. "I select one random card in your hand and send it to the Graveyard" It explains and Dotscaper was sent to the Graveyard. "And I Special Summon a Drillworm from my Graveyard in defense position" Prototype Ai-A explains (DEF: 1200). "I banished Crinoidiod from my Graveyard to activate its effect" Prototype Ai-C states and one Crinoidiod was banished. "I select one random card in your hand and banished it from play" It explains and Cybacle Owl was banished from play. "And I Special Summon a Crinoidiod from my Graveyard in defense position" Prototype Ai-A explains (DEF: 1300). "Just when you drew a card, it was sent to the Graveyard!" Ai laments. "It's so through" He said. "And our card was banished from play…" Kiseki laments. Kitamura smiles as he watches. As both Speed Duels goes on "Playtime is over, Playmaker, Miracle Valkyrie" Kitamura states. Then Prototype Ai-B knocks Playmaker aside. "Playmaker!" Miracle Valkyrie yells out. "Where did that thing come from?!" Kiseki exclaims. Then Prototype Ai-B when for Miracle Valkyrie who dodges it. Prototype Ai-B kept going after them "Hey! That's not fair!" Ai states. "We can't Duel if he keep attacking us" Kiseki states. "Did you two forget that you're inside our mother computer" Kitamura comments. "I won't let you two do whatever you like inside SOL Technologies!" He declares. "This isn't LINK VRAINS" Kitamura points out. "I'll do anything to accomplish my goal" He claims. "both of you will regret coming here" Kitamura states. "Aim for Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie's Duel Disk. Steal them!" He orders. Kitamura's subordinated looks at him. "Hurry up and give the order!" Kitamura yells. "Or I'll fire you!" He threatens them. "Just do as I say!" Kitamura tells them.
"Roger" Prototype Ai-B said, and attacks Playmaker and Miracle Valkyrie again, but both of them dodge it. "They're going crazy!" Ai complains. "That, or who ever created them" Kiseki states. Prototype Ai-B gets ready to launch a punch on Playmaker that would have knocked him out. However, Prototype Ai-B's hand was caught by a whip which throws him away. Playmaker, Miracle Valkyrie, Prototype Ai-A and Prototype Ai-C turn to see that Blue Angel had arrived, who tossed away Prototype Ai-B. "Hey AIs? Stop doing whatever you want" Blue Angel tells them. "Blue Angel!" Playmaker said. "I'm the one who'll defeat Playmaker!" Blue Angel states. "So leave!" She tell Prototype Ai-A. " So, She Blue Angel" Miracle Valkyrie observes. Blue Angel then notices Miracle Valkyrie "So that's Miracle Valkyrie, huh?" She thought. "You're interfering with us?" Prototype Ai-A questions Blue Angel. "If so, we will eliminate you" Prototype Ai-B states as it got back on its Duel Board. "That is our mission" Prototype Ai-C said. "Oh. Then I guess I have no choice" Blue Angel states. She then closed her eyes and reopens them. "I'll take you on!" Blue Angel declares.
