Coming Home to You: Author's Note
Hi.
I'm a bit embarassed by how long it's been... Buuut I recently rewatched the new RK and got a bit caught up in some of my favorite fictional characters. Which is what brought me here, back to this story.
CHTY started out as a pandemic treasure for me. Something to remind me of things I loved to watch and hobbies I hadn't dabbled in for a long time. Plus of course coping with the terror of being alive in 2020. BUT WOW. This story and your reviews are precious to me, and have been such wonderful things to read. I've seen reviews years out from when I last posted- as late as just a few weeks ago. Thank you for finding joy in this story- I'm so glad I could entertain such a wonderful community. So whether you're new or a long time follower of this story, I'm happy to say I'm delving back in.
CHTY WILL BE BACK THIS SUMMER!
Please bear with me. My source material for this story is a bit scrambled and I'll be honest- the end of this story is a lot closer to final draft than the next few chapters. Some of it needs to be thrown out and scrapped. However I've got over 33 pages of drafts to work with. As enough for about 4-5 more chapters and an epilogues.
So. If still down for this journey or new to the ride: Give the story another read and tell me what you want to see in reviews before the story resolves. I can't promise I'll do it all, but something that has been transformational for me as a writer was reading your reviews, delving back into my work and recrafting this story truer to the manga we all love.
