Interrogation Room
"So, why'd you do it?" McGee asked.
"I told you, I didn't do it."
"Really? 'cause we found your fingerprint on one of the victims."
"I'm telling you...I didnt do it."
"Then what did you do to her?"
"I just...I hooked up with her one night."
"And by coincidence you were the last one to see her alive? I dont buy it."
"Its the truth!"
"Hey! You dont get to shout in here! Thats my job! If you didn't kill her, you know who did."
"I don't."
McGee played a video of them leaving together.
"This...is you."
"I see that."
"Then you're telling me you didn't kill her."
"Yes."
"Okay."
That was the last thing he said before he left the interrogation Room. He went into the observation room where Gibbs was.
"What do you think?" He asked.
Gibbs observed the suspect before turning to McGee. "He's hiding something. I want you to find out what it is."
"Boss, he's not cracking any time soon."
"Make him. Something else happened to that girl that night. It your time to shine. Show me what you got."
"Yes boss."
He left the observation room and went back into the interrogation room. This time, he had a file in his hands. He threw it on the table and sat down before opening it.
"Recognize any one of these women? Aside from the third one?"
He looked at all the pictures.
"I dont think so."
"Really? We found some DNA found on the first victim that matches you. And hair found on the second victim that matches you. Do you still want to stick with your story bout not knowing any of them?"
There was a long pause.
"Okay...Okay. I-I did do it."
"Want to tell me what happened? What made you decide to kill these women? Wait, let me guess." He pulled out a picture of Cavanaugh's mom. "Each of these women look like your mom. Don't they?"
"I guess so."
"Its not 'I guess so'. They do. Look at 'em. Here's how I think its going...Your mom was abusive to you and your sister but mainly to you because you reminded her of your father who walked out on you when you were three. How am I doing?"
He didnt answer as McGee continued. "Finally, aftr years of abuse, you got fed up and your first victim was your mom. We found her decomposed body in your backyard buried."
"Yes. I did it. Okay? She loved my sister more than me. It should not have been that way!"
McGee left the interrogation Room and met Gibbs outside.
"I got his confession."
"Good. Now, we need to find out who is trying to kill us."
