Alfred stood over the operating table, a maniacal smile stretching uncannily across his face, practically splitting it into two. Cords sparked around him, liquids dripped from vial to vial. No matter what noises or distractions were going on around him he was focused on the table in front of him. "Tolys!" Alfred's voice boomed, "Pull the lever!" With that the floor beneath Alfred opened up and he fell down yelling "Wrong lever!" Luckily though it was very easy for Alfred to get out of that hole due to Toly's help. "We really need to get rid of that lever, why is it even there?" Alfred questioned Tolys angrily as he ran a hand through his hair. "You made that incase Mr. Ivan ever came in here?"
"Why in that spot?"
"I do not know."
Alfred began resuming his task, he stood beside the operating table once again. "Pull the red lever, Tolys!"The correct lever being pulled sent the operating table up to the rooftop, the rain pelted down on it as the storm raged. Now inside you could hear the rain pour down and thunder crack in the distance due to the roof now being opened.
"Sir, will this really work?" Tolys asked, moving to stand beside his master.
"Of course it will! I'm a genius!"
Tolys just solemnly nodded and looked up at the operating table, as the body on it began to get soaked to the bone with rain. The two stood and craned their necks upward.
After long last, of just Alfred watching, his neck aching lighting struck. "Tolys! Tolys!" He cried for his assistant who had gone to bed after 2 hours of just watching the operating table. When Tolys didn't come stuttering out Alfred tsked and walked to the wall to release the lever himself. As the operating table slowly eased down, that unsettling smile returned to Alfred's face. Alfred stared down at the body in front of him, different sized body parts and skin tones were meticulously stitched together but what Alfred focused on the face. A face reflecting his own except with a slight scar above the lip.
The body began to groan and moan, "Matthew?" Alfred hesitantly asked as he lightly placed his hands onto the body's shoulder. "Please wake up." Alfred begged.
The body's eyes suddenly snapped open, it's violet eyes now a more muted color. "Oh Matthew!" Alfred cried and hugged the body, the sticthed together body that had the head of his twin. "I've missed you so much!" The body only grunted in response and began to wiggle, trying to break away from Alfred's grasp. Alfred leaned back with tears in his eyes as he looked down at the face of his twin. The face was one twisted into one of despair and fury, a face Matthew when he was alive would have never made.
Alfred slowly helped ease the body into a sitting position, the left arm awkwardly hung out too far to the side, as it's bulk made it fall unevenly. The legs were slightly different lengths and the body carefully wiggled it's feet back and forth.
Alfred tenderly grabbed the body's chin and turned it his way, "Matthew" he sighed out lovingly. The body stared at him blankly in response. Alfred leaned closer and pressed his lips against the body's own. Alfred and the body kissed for a few moments until Alfred harshly pulled back, eyebrows furrowed, "What the fuck?" Alfred asked, holding his hand to his lips which were now bleeding due to the body biting him.
The body just smiled and tilted it's head at him, the face's expression one of maliciousness hidden behind naive innocence. Alfred stepped back wearily, "That wasn't funny Matthew." He said like you would scold a troublesome child. Alfred just shook his head and turned around to grab the body some water and food as Matthew probably needed that after coming back to life.
Alfred was about five paces away when Alfred happened to hear something break behind him. Alfred whipped around to see Matthew standing, his stance and posture looked like one of pain. Standing up it was more obvious how mishapen the body was, how different all the body parts were, how one leg was at least two inches shorter. Matthew was staring directly at Alfred, his eyes wide and wild. Matthew shuffled closer to Alfred, "Hey you need to stay put!" Alfred exclaimed and Matthew only groaned, a smile breaking across his face, his pale blue lips were beginning to get their color back, or perhaps that was just Alfred's blood on them. "Stop it!" Matthew continued to limp after Alfred as Alfred began to back away.
Matthew lunged for Alfred when the two of them got close enough, Alfred screamed as Matthew knocked him over. Alfred hit his head hard on the floor, stars flittering around the border of his vision. "Matthew?" Alfred questioned.
The body smiled down at Alfred as it pinned him, it's hair creating a curtain around their heads. The body opened it's mouth as some blood and black goo fell out with a disgusting splat onto Alfred's face. "Gross," Alfred whined but the body didn't care as it lowered itself closer to Alfred. The two locked eyes and the body leaned down even closer, and opened it's mouth. The body took a big bite out of Alfred's face which Alfred was not expecting. Alfred screamed and began to flail trying to get out from under it. The body just smiled before it began to quickly and frequently bite chunks out of Alfred's face, neck, and eventually body.
