As the Sports Festival went on, the one-on-one qualifying rounds ended. Midnight headed over to the game wheel. "Okay, a wonderful show. Let us move on to the semi-finals," Midnight announced, then clicked on the board to pair the matches.

Kirishima and Tetsutetsu paired up. When the bell rang, the two charged at each other, engaging in a fierce fistfight; the two matched blow for blow.

"I must say you're really strong," Testu complimented.

"And you're super manly," Eijiro stated. Izuku observed the two and saw the pair blush; he smirked as he thought of something. Bakugo saw it to, but had a look of disgust. "Hey, after the games, do you want to hang out sometime?" he grunted, rubbing the back of his head.

"You do not care if I am not in your class, or as your barking mutt says, "Loser class?" Tetsu asked.

"No, I mean Midoriya is dating those three girls from your class," Eijiro replied.

"Then yes, it's a date," Tetsu blushed.

"I SHIP IT!" Mina shouted. Bakugo saw this and was disgusted.

"EW THAT'S SICK FAGGOTS!" Bakugo yelled; the two in the stadium glared at the blonde.

"Bakugou, shut the Hell up before I break your jaw again! Don't ever judge someone's sexuality," Izuku snarled in a low and grim tone. "CONGRATS YOU TWO!" he shouted.

"YOU DON'T CARE WE'RE GAY?" Eijiro said, facing Izuku. A microphone appeared in thin air before Izuku and Kirishima so they wouldn't have to shout out at each other.

"Nope, I do not care if your; straight, gay, lesbian, or even Bi-Sexual. I do not discriminate or judge," Izuku replied honestly.

"You're being serious? You're not well, you know," Kirishima asked.

"You're right. I'm not gay, So I don't fully understand it myself, but I do know what romantic feelings or being attracted to someone looks like, so if that is who you are, don't you dare be ashamed of it." Izuku replied.

"Thanks, you're a real man," Ejiro smiled and wiped away his manly tears.

"And don't pay any attention to that barking dog over there, you two; just tune him out," Izuku said, and the microphones vanished into thin air.

"What did you say?" Bakugo snarled in a dark voice.

"You heard me; you're just mad that you can't get a girlfriend," Izuku replied, sending a stone-cold gaze at Bakugo from across the stand. "Now shut up and stop disrespecting classmates, or it will get lonely at the top," he cautioned. "Cause I'm this close to throwing you into the vacuum of space," he warned coldly and darkly, holding his pointer and thumb close together.

Back in the arena stage

The two manly fighters smiled at Izuku's words. They decided to finish the battle.

"No matter what happens," Kirishima started.

"May the best man win," Tetsu finished; the two swung, punching each other, and the two fell unconscious.

"It's a tie folks," Midnight announced. "We will let the two decide a tie-breaker when they wake up; for now, will Jurota Shishida and Ibara Shiozaki come up to the arena stage," she stated.

The two stepped onto the stage. "Okay start," Midnight ordered. Jurota Shishida charged forward fast; Ibara folded her hands, making vines grow out of the ground, and made them try to snare the boy but was dodged. Ibara held her own till Jurota Shishida used his Quirk, turning into a giant beast and rushing at her as she was overwhelmed.

Ibara skidded on the ground, breathing heavily, as she was not used to fighting head-on. Then, a headset beeped on.

"Shiozaki-San," Izuku's voice rang out, getting the girl's attention. "Don't you remember the tale of David and Goliath? Long story short, David won using his smarts and speed to defeat an imposing opponent; try doing that, and remember, the bigger they are, the harder they fall," he encouraged. Ibara renewed with vigor, charged forward, dodging a swing and making vines snare his arm, sliding underneath, snaring his ankles.

The boy struggled to break out. Ibara's eyes glowed white, and large and thick vines tore out of the arena floor, wrapping around the beastly boy and embolizing him; after five minutes, he slumped forward exhausted, changing back to more human-like.

"I cannot move; I'm calling it. Congrats Shiozaki-San," the boy announced.

"Jurota Shishida has yielded, and Ibara Shiozaki has advanced," Midnight said. The girl relaxed, and the vines receded and unwrapped from the boy.

"Okay, Iida Tenya and Izuku Midoriya, make your way to the stage," the Present Mic said.

The two boys walked on stage.

In the stands with class 1A

"Okay, this battle is power versus speed. Who do you guys think is going to win?" Denki questioned.

"Easy, Deku'll get his ass steamrolled," Bakugo sneered.

"Normally, I'd say Iida, but seeing how he defeated Monoma, who had his Quirk, and seeing he defeated a creature as fast as All Might," Fumikage stated.

"In conclusion, it's down to speed vs experience," Kirishima said.

In the Arena Stage

Izuku and Iida gazed at each other with serious expressions, but Izuku's was colder and more piercing.

"You boys ready?" Midnight asked.

"Yes Sensei," Iida nodded, activating his Quirk. Izuku slid his feet gracefully and smoothly into a stance; he exhaled, staying relaxed and ready.

"Then Go!" Midnight ordered, snapping her whip down. Iida blitzed at Izuku with blazing speed; Izuku moved to the side, looping his arm under Iida's, using his speed against him, flipping him on the ground with the wind knocked out of him.

Iida coughed dust and got back up. Izuku stood ready in a combat stance and charged forward again but faster, zipping around Izuku on different sides and angles to confuse him. Izuku predicted his pattern and snapped into action; he whirled around with a knee, and the fast boy crashed into a knee to the stomach but was off again.

Izuku snapped his arms, turning into a side stance. Iida crashed into two forearms across the stomach and chest, followed by a short and sharp kick to the side of the ankle, a fist to the lower stomach, and a hammer strike down across the temple, dropping the boy.

Iida got up with a blazing fast roundhouse, but Izuku ducked with a sidestep and weave, dodging it. He parried two strikes and blocked another fast kick with a forearm block. He snared it under his arm, sent an elbow on the side of the leg, and kicked a low kick to the bend of the balancing knee. He grabbed the boy by the uniform top, tripped him with a turn, and dropped him on the ground.

Izuku backed into a fighting stance as Iida got up.

"You're nearly as fast as I am without a Quirk; I'm impressed," Tenya said, bowing respectfully.

"It's not about how fast someone is, but how fast you can respond to attacks," Izuku replied firmly.

"Recipro Burst!" Tenya called before blasting forward. Izuku jumped high into the air, avoiding the charge; Tenya changed his path and at Izuku but channeled One for All Full Cowling 25% and cerulean-blue energy across his body and bolted in a streak of bluish-green lighting and cerulean-blue energy.

Izuku landed on the ground and focused on the energy around him, coiling his legs and body, focusing on it, and pulling it towards him; visible tendrils of pale white energy from all around were absorbed, and his outline glowed silvery-white.

Shooting forward like an arrow and ramming his head into Tenya's stomach, knocking him back. Izuku landed and enveloped his body in a combination of Sapphire, Cerulean, and Arctic-blue energy, transforming into a dazzling Midnight-blue energy; it circulated around his hands, forearms, and legs. Jetting forward like a bullet, sending blazing fast punches across Tenya's face and a roundhouse to the bend of his leg, finishing the combo with a spinning rearkick to the stomach, knocking him on the ground.

The two charged forward at blazing speed when they collided, unleashing a wind shockwave. Izuku had stopped Tenya, and his engines revved like a car. "Recipro Extend!" shot forward, pushing Izuku closer to the out-of-bounds line.

Izuku looked at the line but smirked because he had let himself get pushed on purpose. He stood in a ready stance and then slipped into a stance.

"You played a good match, but this is my win," Tenya said firmly, blasting forward. Izuku exhaled, moved his arms, dodged a charge, stepped forward firmly, and caught his wrists. He stopped Iida again, but this time, he headbutted him in the forehead, stunning him, spreading his arms to the side, and kneed him in the gut, doubling him over, elbowed him in the face, making him stand back up, sent two palm-heel strikes one, to his side and his lower-stomach, sending two swift strikes to his knees and sharp low kicks to his ankles.

Tenya stepped back, found he could not use his Quirk correctly, and threw a kick, but Izuku caught it with his hand, then tossed him on his back out of bounds with a leg throw.

"Tenya Iida is out of bounds; Izuku Midoriya moves on," Midnight announced.

"You did well but got too eager at the end," Izuku informed.

"How were you able to move so fast?" Iida asked.

"I guess I can tell you. At one point, I was coiling my body and legs. Using my Quirk across my body, I augmented the potential energy before moving forward at a high speed, just like a bow does for an arrow. The second time, I merged three aspects of my Quirk before focusing on my legs and arms. I was able to move at lightning speed," Izuku explained. "But enough about me," he finished.

"Well, congrats about moving on," Iida shook his hand.

"Thanks," Izuku replied.

An Hour later

Momo faced Kendo, which the two tied as time ran out, and Jiro faced Setsuna, who both won and lost with Jiro using a sonic blast. However, the lizard girl grabbed the ear-jack girl, sending the pair out of bounds. However, the two shake hands with respect.

Izuku faced Ibara, who thanked Izuku for his help. Their match started, but Izuku punched the air, unleashing heavy and powerful air pressure and knocking the girl off the stage.

Katsuki and Uraraka were called to the stage, and Izuku watched Katsuki with a sharp and cold expression, observing his every move.

When the match started. "Give up round face," Katsuki growled.

"Never," she replied, narrowing her eyes. Katsuki blasted forward. Uraraka had Bakugo on the ropes, but she was tiring, and the rabid dog bombarded her with explosions without restraint to the point that it was overkill.

The raging chihuahua continued to rain down hits, ignoring Midnight's warnings to stand down and people's warnings that he was going too far.

Izuku, in the stands, narrowed his eyes. "That's it," he hissed. Izuku stood up, jumped over the railing, landed on a wall below, and sprang forward at an angle. He landed on a railing, vaulted nimbly over to an angled wall, and slid down it like a slide before springing off. He landed with his foot on the armrest of an empty chair, leaping across and landing gracefully onto another lower wall, springing off it as his hand glowed.

Katsuki grinned evilly. "Know your place," before raising his hand again. Just then, an arrow plunged into his hand from behind, making everyone gasp with shock.

"AGHA!" he yelled in pain. He snapped around to see who dared intervene; he saw Izuku crouching on the rim of the stadium's lower wall, with a recurve bow in his hand, staring at him with a sharp, piercing look.

Izuku jumped down, sending a stream of energy below him with his free hand. He launched himself over, flipping forward, landing gracefully on the arena stage, and glaring daggers at the explosive boy.

"That's enough. Take your win and walk away, now," Izuku hissed.

"How dare you intervene with my prey!" Katsuki started moving forward with a hand sparkling, but Izuku pulled back another arrow.

"Try it, and this one goes straight through that space you call a heart," Izuku warned.

"You don't have the nerve," Bakugo sneered; Izuku narrowed his eyes as his gaze hardened, leaking slight killing intent.

"Try me," Izuku replied in a cold voice. Bakugo backed down, a hint of fear in his eyes. "One of these days Deku," he snarled.

Izuku made his bow disappear and stood ready.

"Why wait?" Izuku replied, even colder, taking a threatening step forward as the killing intent and pressure increased. Bakugo stepped back, starting to sweat. "Yeah, you're real tough, beating on a downed opponent. Why don't you try knocking me down?" he challenged. Katsuki sneered and stormed away, holding his hand, and headed to the nurse as Izuku watched his every move with a piercing gaze.

Izuku breathed to calm down, then helped Uraraka to her feet and over to a carry-on hospital bed with med bots.

"I'm sorry I failed," Uraraka said softly.

"Don't be; you had him on the ropes; he got desperate and attacked a down person to make himself feel better," Izuku said quietly.

A while later, because he shot a person with a weapon and intervened in the match, but since he stopped Bakugo from going too far and defending a classmate, Izuku got temporarily barred from the next semi-final rounds, as this was the penalty.

In the stands

"I hope harming Bakugo was worth it," Toru said.

"They should've thrown you out of the Festival altogether 'ribbit," Asui said.

"I didn't see you lift a finger to help Uraraka," Izuku countered. "My question. Why are you so set on defending that flaming piece of garbage; when he always calls you stepping stones or extras?" he questioned. "You must like loudmouth bullies," he frowned.

"We don't, but shooting him with an arrow was too far," Toru replied offended.

"Be thankful I didn't hit him anywhere vital," Izuku countered. "Unlike you two, I have the backbone to stand up and do what is right. Be grateful I did not put that rabid dog down," he said coldly.

"I got scared," Toru argued.

"How scared do you think Uraraka was when that explosive mutt attacked her? Did you ever see if she was okay?" Momo questioned.

"Maybe Recovery Girl should examine their heads," Jiro snarked.

"Just leave it alone you two; people like those two don't know anything," Izuku replied.

"What do you mean by that? You mean cowards, right," Toru questioned.

"Your words not mine," Izuku replied. "If you'll excuse me, my penalty is ending," he said, walking out.

"We're not cowards. How rude 'Ribbit,'" Asui said, offended.

"Tsuyu; I saw you cowering under the water along with Monoma and Mineta when I found you. Toru; Todoroki came across you crouching behind a rock," Momo informed sternly. "You two did nothing to help during the U.S.J attack," she frowned.

"Not cool you two," Kirishima frowned.

Izuku was in the waiting room. "Will Izuku Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki make your way to the arena?" the intercom rang out. The two stepped onto the arena stage, looking at each other coldly.

"Here they come, the hot and cold protégé, but mostly cold as ice blasting his way into the Semi-Finals, Shoto Todoroki!" Present Mic announced as people cheered loudly. "The other opponent, another powerhouse who is just as cold and unafraid of jumping into action, the walking engine of calamity, give a hand to Muscular Listener: Izuku Midoriya!" he finished, and the crowd roared with applause.

Shoto had one thought: "I'll win this match without using his fire," Izuku had a different idea.

"No matter, I'll save you from your past and help you use your left side, even if I have to force you," he thought with resolve.

"Ready boys?" Midnight questioned.

"Yeah," Shoto replied bluntly.

"No matter what, Todoroki, I'll save you," Izuku vowed, getting ready.

"Go!" Midnight snapped her whip down. Shoto then sent a massive glacier at Izuku, but he countered with a sphere of swirling red energy, shattering the attack with a thunderous.

'BOOOM!'

Shoto sent thick pillars of ice at Izuku; Izuku sent a blast of blue energy from his right, launching himself over the attack. He then glided on it with a big blue orb of energy, somersaulting over and landing on the other side of Shoto.

Izuku sent both hands out in a stance, a spiraling beam of red and blue energy at Shoto, who made a thick wall of ice, but the beam shattered it instantly.

But it was a distraction. Izuku had sent three orbs of red energy with a jumping tornado and windmill kick, sending them at Shoto at high speed; Shoto made an ice shield that cracked with each ball but was unprepared when Izuku sent flying over with a jet of blue energy, sending a thrusting rearkick into the weakened shield breaking it, as the kick plowed into Shoto's stomach, and was sent flying back with a sphere of sapphire-blue energy.

Shoto made a wall of ice as he crashed into it to stop himself from going out of bounds. Izuku stood ready, and Shoto raised his right, but Izuku appeared right before him, grabbing his right wrist and forcing it into the air, sending a stream of ice into the air.

Izuku sent a hammer-fist on his right shoulder, a knee to the stomach followed by another to his lower-stomach, an elbow to the face, back-fist in the face, two sets of swift and precise half-fist strikes to the chest and sides, following with outside and inward knife-hand strikes to the torso and side of the neck ending it with a ridge-hand strike in the temple, an uppercut, and a right-cross to the stomach, followed by a roundhouse in the side and sent on the ground with a sidekick to the midsection.

"Don't think you can win by half-assing it; use your fire," Izuku ordered.

"I'll never use his power," Shoto said coldly and angrily. "I can win with just my mom's power," he claimed.

"Keep telling yourself that," Izuku said just as coldly. Shoto got up, shooting ice spikes at Izuku; Izuku made two sapphire-blue energy dual-blades and charged forward, dodging and slicing the spikes easily. Then jumping with a twirl, he slashed some more into pieces, encasing his arms with Armament Haki.

Shoto sent a massive wall of ice at Izuku, who made a strong but swift series of slashes, sending razor-sharp arcs of air pressure; the arcs of air pressure cut the ice wall apart.

Before sending a large orb of crimson-red energy, shattering the rest of the wall and blowing Shoto backward, then his dual blades fused into an O-Katana as he got into a stance, which shimmered with sapphire and cerulean-blue energy; moving forward he smoothly swung his energy broadsword low to high before slashing across, casting arcs of simmering sapphire-cerulean-blue energy around him before gracefully stepping forward with a thrust, sending a ray of sapphire-cerulean-blue energy at Shoto.

Shoto made multiple thick walls of ice, but the ray was plowing right through the walls. Izuku thrust his sword harder, and the ray increased in power and intensity; he moved his hands to the side short, and thousands of sapphire swords appeared; he moved his hands and feet gracefully.

The ray stopped. Shoto looked, and his eyes widened when he saw hundreds of blades floating in the air all around him.

"Block this attack with just your ice," Izuku said coldly before swiping his arms down forcefully. Shoto made several layered domes of thick ice as thousands of rays of energy struck the domes, shattering them and bombarding Shoto. Before making an energy gauntlet on his arm and punching forward in a stance, an energy beam nailed the ice-hot boy in the gut, doubling him over, and socked Shoto across the face with it, sending him flying out of the energy rays.

The swords disappeared as Izuku stepped back with a serious expression. "You would spare yourself the humiliation if you'd just use your left side," he said firmly.

"Did my old man pay you to make me use it? Now I'm mad," Shoto hissed. "I'll never use his fire," he insisted.

"Mad, huh?" Izuku scoffed. "So, you're never going to use your fire, eh? Even if you face someone, where your right side is not enough, eh?" he questioned. "If that's the case, and your logic, then quit—not just the Festival, but U.A. too," he finished colder than an Arctic blizzard.

Making everyone gasp with shock, Izuku said, "Oops, pardon me that was blunt; what I meant is: Everyone is giving it their all; Hitoshi is doing everything to make it in the hero course," "Hatsume wanted to show the world and heroes how great her inventions are; everyone is doing their best," "You, on the other hand, are only using these games to spite your father," Izuku said.

"I can face any villain with just my right," Shoto said stubbornly.

Izuku's face grew serious. "Is that right? How about I play the villain role and see how well you keep that logic?" Izuku said in a chilly voice; his face was set and hard as stone. "Bring it, hero," he beckoned, then channeled One for All: Full Cowling 25% through his body. An orb of navy-blue energy formed on his right, and crimson-red energy appeared on his left.

Izuku bolted forward at high speed, and Shoto made several limbs of ice, an enormous glacier, and spikes of ice as the air grew colder around them. Ice covered the arena stage. "Artic Tundra Maelstrom!" he called.

Izuku avoided the spikes and limbs with his parkour skills, digging his hands and feet into the ice, sending a series of punches, destroying the glacier and landing sliding on the ice gracefully in front of Shoto swinging, who made an ice shield but shattered with a crimson-red energy-engulfed fist, as a fist covered in navy-blue energy slammed into Shoto's stomach, flooring him.

Then two energies charged up and intensified before smashing both fists onto the ice-covered arena, shattering it, and making the ice jostle up; utilizing Armament Haki, letting it flow through his body and activating Implosion Ryou(flowing) and Flaming (hardening), he told himself; his whole body was covered in a burst of raw energy gained bluish-black flame markings appeared on him.

Brilliant blue flames flooded out of him, as he was circulating with Cerulean and Artic-blue energy. He then spun fast like a top, as a giant tornado of blue fire erupted around them, melting the ice. Focusing gracefully, he moved his arms and legs smoothly and fluidly as water moved; he started moving the fire tornado to his side. He shrunk it down, holding it at his side, sliding forward into a stance before throwing out his palm. A condensed, medium, but powerful whirlwind of blue fire sent Shoto flying back for the umpteenth time.

Shoto stopped himself painfully again with an ice wall. Izuku then turned back to normal. He observed the icy-hot user, noticing frostbite on him and subtle hints of shivering.

"It seems you're reaching the limit of your ice side," Izuku informed firmly. "Your movements are slowing, and the increasing cold is hampering the ice you cast. Above all, you're getting frostbite," he listed.

"You forced me into an endurance match," Shoto stated.

"You could fix that if you'd use your left side," Izuku pointed out.

"Never for as long as Endeavor is alive, I'll only use my mom's ice," Shoto replied. "Besides your no threat to me," he said exhaling cold air

"Okay, I've run out of patience," Izuku sighed, exasperated before a wicked and sinister smile grew on his face that would've made the devil run for the hills. He put his palms together and mixed crimson-red and navy-blue energy, forming a small sphere that increased in size in seconds into a giant swirling and circulating sphere of mixed energy. "You say I'm no threat to you. I assume that means you won't act like a big sissy and dodge this attack, an attack that will take out your classmates and watchers," he smirked evilly.

"You wouldn't dare?" Shoto questioned.

"Was that a challenge?" Izuku replied. "I'll enjoy hearing the agonizing screams as you all disintegrate to dust," he cackled.

In the stands

"He's nuts," Mineta cried.

"He's gone mad," Sero paled.

"He must have reason for doing this," Jiro stated.

"He's giving Todoroki a real-life scenario," Momo agreed. "Sometimes holding back facing a villain is the worst thing you can do," she explained.

With class-1B

"Okay, that guy has a few screws missing," one of the boys paled.

"Hey, watch it. That's our boyfriend," Setsuna snapped.

"He wouldn't fire off an attack like that at us, would he?" another questioned.

"Get ready, hero. Will you save them, or will they perish from your weakness?" Izuku demanded Shoto.

"He would," Monoma sweat dropped.

With the Big Three

"What is he thinking?" Mirio paled.

"I knew something about him was telling me to stay away," Tamaki whimpered.

"Relax, you guys; Izuku is saving that boy from his past by throwing real danger at him," Nejire smiled.

In the announcer's stand

"Eraserhead your student is out of his mind," Present Mic gapped.

"I think this will give Todoroki the push he needs to be a hero someday; it may be on the borderline of extreme, but it may help Todoroki in the long run," Aizawa assured. "Besides, he's the Class President; it is his job to help his classmates when they are struggling," he smirked.

In the arena stage

"If you were struggling to stop my basic attacks with your ice, then I wonder how you'll stop this large attack," Izuku smirked, then sent out his hand to shoot the giant sphere of mixed-colored energy at Shoto, which barreled over to him cracking and creating a groove in the arena stage.

The icy-hot user's eyes widened with shock, creating several large towers of ice angled outwards; the massive ball of energy cracked the towers, stopping the ball of energy. Izuku glared at the ball, focusing on it and pushing it forward with his mind.

The energy ball drilled through, breaking four walls as they fell apart. "Okay, I'm done playing. Enjoy oblivion, hero," he narrowed his eyes. He sent a beam of sapphire at the ball, pushing it forward faster as Shoto slid backward. "AHHAHAHAHHAAAAAA!" he let out a villainous laugh.

"No, you don't," Shoto grunted, using more ice as frost spread on him. He strained from the ball of doom approaching him.

"Is the hero done already? I guess it's bye-bye," Izuku grinned maliciously. "Unless you choose to use your left, you have a better chance," he pointed out.

"I won't use his fire!" Shoto snapped.

"It's not his fire, you idiot!" Izuku shouted. "Endeavor doesn't control your power, nor your mother; only you are in charge of your power! Be the hero you truly want to be!" he proclaimed fiercely.

"You can do it; free yourself!" Izuku said. "It's time for you to break free from your past!" he ordered as the ball reached the final tower. Shoto stomped his foot as his left side heated up, and roaring fire engulfed him. With the mighty yell of a fighter, he shot out a large amount of ice and fire at the approaching sphere, tearing it apart.

Shoto slumped, exhausted, and smiled; Shoto had found himself whole for the first time in a long time.

In the stands

Momo smiled proudly at her boyfriend. "You did it and finally made him use it," she clapped.

Down in the Arena

Izuku smirked, happy that Shoto broke free, but he shook it away and regained his stoic and cold gaze. "It seems like you found who you are," he said.

"I did. I'm Shoto Todoroki, and I want to be a hero," Shoto smiled.

"Good job. I guess I can show you the same gesture," Izuku narrowed his eyes, focusing on his power; an aura of Admiral-blue energy surged around him; as his hair became spikier, his hair and eyes turned into a glowing admiral-blue, then his hair got thicker edges glowed a metallic and midnight-blue. He continued to pour out his power into a gigantic and thick potent aura; metallic and midnight-blue-colored energy emerged, and the whole arena stage trembled and quaked. The aura of energy shrunk and merged around his form.

"This is what you wanted to show me?" Shoto raised a brow.

"Not yet." Izuku's glowing metallic-blue eyes flickered a crimson-red. Before, his face set with a fiercer expression.

"HAAAAAAAAGGHHAA!" Izuku released a ferocious and determined battle cry as the Aura of Metallic and midnight-blue energy reappeared. Aesthetic neon red energy surged out of him as the energy swirled around wildly and violently. His hair flared as it slicked back with edges and tips glowing neon red. His eyes swirled a luminous mix of Metallic-blue and neon-red, and the energies merged as he exhaled.

Izuku set his gaze on Shoto who was stunned.

"What did you just do?" Shoto asked.

"Let's say I had a side of Supernatural Force I was keeping under wraps until the last four weeks of training; I started using it again," Izuku said. "Now you're thinking of why?" "Just like you, I was afraid of it and what it could do," he explained.

When did you discover this other side?" Shoto asked.

"When I was ten, you remember when I told you. You were not the only one with a piece of trash, Father?" Izuku stated.

"Yes," Shoto nodded.

"He was just a drunken, lazy slob who was away for months at a time. One day, he came home drunk out of his mind, hollering and raving about me not gaining my mom's or his Quirk," Izuku explained.

"He was bent out of shape for that?" Shoto scoffed.

"Yeah. One day, he crossed the line; when my mom defended me, he punched her, knocking her to the ground," he continued. "When I saw this, I snapped, fed up with his drunken ass, that crimson-red energy came out," "and I then sent him flying across the apartment," he said.

"Turns out the red energy caused more damage to that man; Several ribs were broken in three places, a collapsed lung, and several teeth missing," he listed.

"A grown adult with that much damage from a 10-year-old from one hit?" Shoto gaped, shocked.

"Turns out the neon crimson-red energy, was not only much stronger than the blue energy, but it flares up when I get angry," Izuku explained.

"But you got angry during the battle training and never came out," Shoto pointed out.

"No, I mean like extremely angry," Izuku clarified. "I admit it was close to coming out that day, but I kept it under control," he said. "Because it's not only stronger, but it's volatile; the more anger and negative emotion it feels, the more unstable it gets," "Recently I learned how to control it now through a powerful resolve and determination, I can activate at will," he said.

"Your energy does feel completely different," Shoto noted.

"Correct, when these two energies work together, they balance each other. The blue energy is all about power through extreme control and focus, combining it with the raw destructive and resilience of the red energy," he said.

"Two halves become whole," Shoto finished.

"Good job you're right," Izuku smirked. "The neon crimson-red energy strengthens and fortifies the blue energy, as the blue energy calms and refines the red energy; granted I'm still learning how to use them correctly because they are prematurely merged," he informed.

"I see. Shall we finish this?" Shoto replied, taking a stance. "No matter who wins, thank you, Midoriya," he smiled.

"We shall," Izuku smirked. Shoto launched another wave of fire and ice; Izuku charged forward, swiping his arm in a slashing motion, splitting the attack down the middle. Izuku made a ball of anesthetic-red, metallic and midnight-blue energy. Red veins of energy and bluish-green lightning crackled across his body, channeling One for All: Full Cowling 45% throughout his body. Then, launching himself forward, he spun like a whirlwind, turning into a comet of anesthetic-red and metallic and midnight-blue energy with bluish-green lightning coursing around it, blasting over two Shoto at lightning speed.

The two attacks collided, and the stadium shook with a ground-shaking and thunderous boom, releasing a massive explosion of ice, fire, wind, bluish-green lightning, Crimson-red, and Metallic-midnight-blue energy all over the stadium as everyone covered themselves.

When the dust cleared, Shoto was on the grass, knocked out, as Izuku held out a fist. He crackled with anesthetic-red, metallic, midnight-blue energy and bluish-green lightning.

"Shoto Todoroki has been eliminated, which means Izuku Midoriya moves to the finals," Midnight announced from somewhere as the arena cheered.

Izuku stayed stoic and calm as he powered down, walked to the edge of the arena stage, jumped off, and headed to Shoto. His hand glowed as a canteen of water appeared, and he drank some of it. He sprayed some of it in Shoto's face, waking him up.

"What the?" Shoto looked around.

"Good job, you have taken the first step into a larger world," Izuku smirked.

"You've been through what I have been through?" Shoto asked.

"Not so much but yes," Izuku replied.

"Does it get easier on the journey forward?" Shoto asked.

"I always thought life is like a trail or a road that would be a clean and brisk walk into the sun," Izuku said. "But I was wrong, be it a path, a road, a trail, whatever you want to call it. It is not a clear walk; there will always be twists and turns or objects in your way, and you must make the right choices to move forward," he informed sternly.

"What about the people who mock me about not being good enough? Or will always see me as Endeavor's spawn?" Shoto asked, bitter at the end.

"You still on about what people think of you?" Izuku frowned. "Let me tell you something you've already figured out: Life isn't always going to be sprinkles and ice cream or jellybeans and chocolates; it can be a very mean, nasty, and cruel place, and I don't care where you are from it will beat you without mercy into submission if you let it,"

"You, me, Endeavor, or even All Might will never hit as hard as life, but it's not about how many times or how hard you get hit; it's about how hard you can get it and keep moving, how much you endure and continue onward," he stated.

"That's how champions are made; now if you know what you want, then go out after and take it by the balls, but you got to be willing to take the hits from the disappointment life throws your way and not cast the blame onto your father, or random classmate, or God or Heaven's above or anyone like that, cowards and fake heroes do that and that ain't you, you're better than that, you just have to believe in yourself, just like you did today," Izuku finished. "Now ask me this from your heart: why do you want?" he asked gently.

"I want to be a hero that will surpass Endeavor, prove to him and everyone that the hybrid protégé is more than a tool," Shoto spoke with vigor.

"Well, then, you know how to go after it?" Izuku asked.

"I do step by step and moving forward," Shoto smiled. Izuku held out a hand, which Shoto took, and Izuku helped him up as he looped his arm around his neck, helping him to the nurse.

Izuku turned around and looked. "Hey, where the heck did Midnight go? Disappeared to flash the crowd again?" he frowned.

"Up here, and what did I tell you to call me?" Midnight said. They saw that Midnight was stuck seat-first into the stadium wall halfway up it. Izuku snickered into his hand.

"Something funny?" Midnight questioned.

"Oh, nothing. How is it hanging?" Izuku joked.

"I'm not hanging; my fat ass is stuck," Midnight frowned. "Can you get me down?" she said.

"Hang on for a second," Izuku said, placing Shoto on the crash cart, which the medical bots wheeled away. Izuku then headed to Midnight; he ran up the wall, grabbed Midnight by the waist, and began to pull, bracing his feet on the wall. "You're wedged in there," he grunted, then pulled hard yanking Midnight out, then gasped when the two fell on the ground. Izuku landed on his feet, but the package he held knocked him off-balance, and he fell to the ground, with the vixen of a woman dropping on top of him.

Izuku landed with a grunt. "Thanks for the help," Midnight thanked as she got off; Izuku got up dusting himself off. "Now what was my name again?" she pulled his cheek, bringing him closer to her.

"Okay, ow, sorry, it's Nemuri," Izuku grunted.

"Good boy," Midnight smiled walking away.

"What a woman, feisty," Izuku stated, rubbing his cheek.
