The clock reads six in the morning it was the first day back from summer which meant Clare was now senior and now body student council president something she dreamt of since she was only a niner which seemed like forever ago now the curly haired beauty was walking into the school she hears her phone ring it was of course she accepted the call right away knowing it was her boyfriend Eli Goldsworthy."Good morning to the most sexy president at Degrassi '' Eli 's voice was soft; he probably had just woken up. Eli was now at NYU pressuring his dreams of becoming a director wanting to make films that could make an impact on the world or he could try to.Clare grins from ear to ear she always loves the sound of Eli talking to her and she doesn't mind if Eli calls her sexy she knows he sees her more than a pretty face they still have that banter that been there since that day when was in grade 10 at that bench, "Morning to you too Eli," she giggles, "How are you settling into dorm life?" She asked if she knew she had spoken to him the night before.Eli responds while he gets out of bed sitting up, "Well it took time getting used to my room ate JJ he well some people are very expressive in their needs."Clare was shocked but she was not surprised it was university and you meet new people she was glad he already met new friends, "Oh wait expressive in what ways?" She smiles."I love you too Clare," Eli was grinning through the phone hanging Up as he got on with his day thinking about how lucky He is to be at NYU.After Clare put her phone away into her school bag which was blue, her favourite colour She skipped over, "Alli! Jenna!" hugging the other two girls tight."So good that we're finally seniors!" Jenna squeals happily letting go looking at the two.Alli chuckles "Agreed! Also you look cute! Especially as your first day as president," She approves, Alli was the fashion forward genius."Thank you I appreciate that a lot," Clare giggles happily as soon as the door opens again revealing three boys,Connor, Adam and Dave and as soon as Jenna notices Connor she is basically running towards the much taller boy."Connor!" The dyed Blonde claps happily before wrapping her arms around him as the two kiss each other as if no one was in the room.After A few moments they both pull away, "Sorry about that we got carried away," Connor genuinely smiles as Dave pats him on the back."No need to be, I'm happy for you and Jenna,you deserve it." Dave beams as the rest walk towards where Clare and Alli are as they all head into the gym to set up for welcome back assembly."Who is ready for the best year Degrassi has ever seen?" Adam cheered as everyone walked on the stage. It was crazy that now they were all seniors as It felt like yesterday they were just starting but they had no idea that a familiar face would be arriving.As the hours passed the students have now arrived, the gym filled with blue and yellow streamers And banners which read "Welcome Back Degrassi," in glitter bold writing.After Mr Simpson did his annual welcome back/welcoming new students speech as the principal. He then announced Clare who walked on the stage taking over the mic smiling brightly, "Hello Degrassi and welcome!" Everyone started cheering as she continued on with her speech."I'm Clare Edwards if you didn't know yet and I'm your student council president however I can't have all the credits especially how much this year student council are going to be there when you need them to so let introduce you to your student council! First up she's very fashionable and also super smart. She is going to change the world. She's your social chair Alli Bhandari!" Alli walks out smiling and waving standing next to Clare, "Next up he can sing, he can dance and play basketball and the funniest he Is Dave Turner your sports expert!" Dave comes out and does a little dance as he catches the eye of Alli walking over towards her. "Okay now we have she will take minutes and your heart she's Jenna Middleton." Jenna walks out smiling then Clare turns towards the middle, "He will give you detailed answers to anything he has the knowledge he's your treasurer Connor DeLaurier!" Connor enters with a calculator necklace thing around his neck.Everyone Cheered, "And now he is the voice of reason to many of us, he is pretty much a wonderful person he's vp Adam Torres!" Adam walked on the stage as everyone was cheering the bell then went as now class was now in session.Once Clare was at her locker getting ready for class she opened up her locker which was semi messy with textbooks, a make up bag with some makeup and extra period pads, hand lotion, bobble and a book she was reading. She pulled out her bag filling it with the textbooks she needed for her first two classes not realising who was walking u9p to her.KC Guthrie who had moved back to Toronto his mum didn't want him to miss out on his senior year at a school that took a chance with him and his father now in prison which meant KC and his mother were safe so he was back and now returned to Degrassi. He walked down the hallway towards his first class he spots Clare at her locker so he decided to go up to surprise her. " thought your speech was really good," KC stood in front of Clare making her look up and by the look of shock On her face he knew they'll be questions and not just from her.Clare had to blink a few times before she realised Kc was there, "KC? You back at Degrassi?" She was curious while he noded, "Wait does Jenna know? Connor? Dave anyone?" She wonders since he was best friends with Connor and Dave and he and Jenna had a baby together which they gave up for adoption.

KC shook his head no, "No I thought I would surprise them," he started to walk with Clare to class. He had missed this place but wouldn't admit it."Then I have a feeling they will be just as shocked as I am" Clare responds as they make their way to class.
