Shinji is stalked by an entity that he can not truly comprehend. It taunts him by taking a very familiar form, but not all of the pain that it puts him through is not entirely bad. It's intentions are unknown, but Shinji can tell one thing about it. The aura it gives off is one of malicious intent. It is the predator and Shinji is the prey.

During the battle with the Tenth Angel, Asuka notices something that alters her perception on reality that has far reaching repercussions.

Project Dolly consists in replicating a human organism: Ayanami Rei. For what purpose, Dr. Birkin and Dr. Richards do not know.
