Chapter 10

Soon, the three Kongs arrived home. Everyone was happy that Donkey Kong was okay. They all congratulated Bluster for succeeding in bringing him back, with a little help from Diddy, of course.

"Welcome home, Donkey Kong!" cheered the Kongs. They were so happy to see him. "We missed you so much!" one of them shouted. "It's not the same without you," another added.

"Thank you, everyone," Donkey Kong said with a big smile. "I'm glad to be back. I missed all of you too. It's good to see everyone safe and sound."

Bluster puffed out his chest proudly. "It was nothing, really. Just doing my duty!" he said, trying to sound important. He looked around to see if everyone was impressed. Diddy Kong laughed. "Yeah, and it only took a few extra pushes from me!"

Everyone laughed together. Bluster tried to look serious, but then he started laughing too.

"Well, I'm just glad it's all over," Donkey said with a sigh of relief. He stretched his arms and yawned. "I could use a good rest after all that adventure."

Candy playfully poked him in the shoulder. "Hey, but we still got a party to celebrate!" she exclaimed. Her eyes sparkled with excitement. "Remember? The big party you planned before this whole mess happened!"

"Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that!" Donkey said, standing up quickly. "A party sounds like just what I need at the moment. Let's have some fun!"

Bluster stepped forward a bit, looking a little nervous. "Hey... since I, you know, rescued you... do you think I can come along to the party?" Bluster asked, his voice a little shaky.

Donkey smirked and looked at Bluster with a teasing grin. "Nope! You're still not invited," he said, pretending to be serious.

Bluster's face fell. "WHAT!?" he yelled, looking shocked and disappointed.

Donkey laughed and clapped Bluster on the back. "I'm just kidding! Of course, you can come to the party!"

Bluster smiled from ear to ear. After all of that, he got invited to the party. That was all he wanted. He felt proud and happy. Now they just had to wait for the sun to set for the party to start. The Kongs chatted and laughed, making plans for the celebration. It was going to be a night to remember.

Soon, the sun began to set over the horizon, casting an orange glow on the island. The sky turned beautiful shades of pink, purple, and gold, and the island looked magical in the twilight. Bluster walked down the street with a big smile on his face. He was so excited for the party. His steps were light, and he hummed a cheerful tune as he went. The trees swayed gently in the evening breeze, and the birds sang their last songs of the day.

This year, Bluster promised Donkey Kong that he wouldn't insult his party hosting skills (which he had been quite disappointed by) and he definitely would not ruin the party this time. He didn't want to go down that lane again. Bluster thought about all the fun they would have, and he couldn't wait to join in.

After a short while of walking, Bluster arrived at the party. The area was decorated with colorful streamers, balloons, and lights. There were tables set up with all kinds of yummy treats, like banana cakes, coconut pies, and mango smoothies. The music was playing, and the Kongs were starting to gather. Everyone looked happy and ready to have a great time.

Bluster instantly saw Donkey and Diddy and walked up to them. "Hey, Bluster!" Donkey called, waving. Bluster waved back, feeling proud to be acknowledged by Donkey Kong.

"Glad ya made it!" Diddy said with a big grin. "Of course! I'm probably the most important ape here!" Bluster said, but he noticed the look on Donkey Kong's face when he said it. "Uh, one of the most important," he added quickly, trying to sound modest.

Donkey smiled. "Well, me and Diddy gotta get some barrels for the party. Can ya come help us?" he asked. Bluster gasped dramatically. "Did you just ask me to work!?" he shouted, looking shocked.

Donkey sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Bluster, please don't start this aga—"

"HOW DARE YOU ASK ME TO WORK! I DO WHAT I PLEASE!" Bluster yelled as he stepped back, his voice echoing loudly. But unfortunately, he accidentally tripped on a wire, which made the chaos begin.

Bluster fell with a loud thud, and everyone around turned to look. As he scrambled to get up, he knocked over a table filled with bananas and coconut drinks. The bananas went flying in all directions, and the drinks spilled everywhere, making a sticky mess.

"Oh no!" Dixie cried, trying to catch a rolling banana before it hit the ground. "Bluster, you buffoon! Watch out!" Cranky shouted, but it was too late. Bluster stumbled into a stack of party decorations, sending them crashing down in a loud, clattering mess.

The party started to descend into chaos. Kongs were slipping on spilled drinks, trying to keep their balance. Decorations were falling everywhere, and the beautifully set tables were now in disarray. Some Kongs were trying to help clean up, but it seemed like the mess just kept getting bigger and bigger.

Soon, the Kongs began to run out of the party, having had enough of the chaos. They didn't want to get caught in the middle of the mess. "Don't worry, everybody!" Bluster called out, not really knowing what was happening around him. "I'm okay!" he tried to assure them, waving his arms.

But the Kongs weren't listening. They just wanted to get away from the disaster. Soon everyone at the party had left, and only Donkey, Diddy, and Bluster remained. The once festive area now looked like a complete wreck. Streamers and balloons were scattered everywhere, and the tables were overturned.

Bluster stood up, brushing himself off. "Man, now my butt hur—" he started to say, but then he noticed both Donkey and Diddy glaring at him with annoyed expressions. He laughed nervously, scratching his head. "Uh... oops?"

The End.
