Three months had passed since Yuta began his swordsmanship training, and his progress was nothing short of remarkable. His coach and father watched with pride as he mastered techniques at an astonishing rate. However, Yuta knew that mastering the sword was just the beginning. He needed to harness his cursed energy and understand the true extent of his powers.
One evening, after an intense training session, Yuta sat in his room, meditating. He focused on the flow of cursed energy within him, trying to control and manipulate it. The memories of his past life and the knowledge of what lay ahead pushed him to train harder.
Second Person POV
You close your eyes, feeling the cursed energy coursing through your veins. It's a strange, exhilarating sensation. You remember the techniques you read about and try to visualize them. As you focus, the energy begins to respond, forming a faint aura around you.
A knock on the door breaks your concentration. It's your father. "Yuta, can I come in?"
"Yes, Father," you respond, opening your eyes and letting the energy dissipate.
He enters the room, a proud smile on his face. "I've been watching your training. You're progressing faster than I could have imagined. How do you feel?"
"I'm getting the hang of it, but there's still so much to learn," you reply, determined.
"That's the spirit. Remember, strength comes from both body and mind. Keep honing your skills, and you'll achieve great things."
You nod, feeling more motivated than ever. Your father leaves, and you resume your meditation, determined to push your limits.
Timeskip - One Month Later
Third Person POV
Yuta's training had intensified. Not only was he mastering the sword, but he was also getting better at controlling his cursed energy. His coach and parents were in awe of his progress. Yet, Yuta knew that he needed to be prepared for anything, especially with Rika by his side.
One afternoon, Yuta decided to visit the park. He found Rika sitting on the swings, her usual cheerful expression lighting up when she saw him.
"Yuta! Over here!" she called, waving excitedly.
He smiled and walked over to her. "Hi, Rika. How have you been?"
"I'm good! I've been waiting for you. Want to play hide and seek again?"
"Sure," Yuta replied, grateful for the normalcy her presence brought.
Second Person POV
You spend the afternoon playing with Rika, laughing and running around the park. It's moments like these that make you feel like a normal child, despite the weight of your past memories and the responsibilities you carry. After a while, you both sit down to catch your breath.
"Yuta," Rika says, looking at you with curiosity. "Do you ever think about the future?"
You pause, thinking about her question. "Yes, I do. I want to be strong and protect the people I care about."
Rika smiles, her eyes shining. "Me too. Let's always be friends and look out for each other, okay?"
You nod, feeling a deep sense of resolve. "Always."
As the sun sets, you walk Rika home, promising to meet her again soon. When you return home, your mother is waiting for you.
"How was your day?" she asks, her voice filled with warmth.
"It was good, Mom. I'm ready for dinner," you reply, smiling.
