Bobby and Lori followed Lincoln from several feet away, from the safety of Bobby's pickup truck. Both young adults were silent due to the depth of their situation.

Bobby's face was stoic, but inside he was panicking. They desperately needed to locate Ronnie Ann. Just the thought of his baby sister being out on her own made Bobby's heart leap into his throat.

The Latino had about a day's worth of stubble and prominent eye bags, he looked absolutely exhausted.

From her seat in the passenger side, Lori clutched the communicator Lisa gave her to her breasts. "Do you think we'll be able to catch Ronnie Ann"?

Bobby gripped the steering wheel tightly, as he watched Lincoln edge near the woods. "Hopefully, if Lisa's plan works," he said.

Lori placed a comforting hand on Bobby's leg, "It'll be okay, Baby".

Bobby was almost tempted to ask, if everything would really be okay? However the look of worry and fear in Lori's blue eyes prevented him from speaking, he wasn't the only one worried about his sister...

Lori scanned the surrounding area and cursed when Lincoln moved to enter a heavily wooded area, "Shit, Lincoln's going into the woods, Bobby".

Nodding, Bobby carefully maneuvered his truck along the path as they continued to follow Lincoln. The trail was rocky and uneven, with random tree stumps and fallen branches adding a slight annoyance.

However, the further they ventured down the path, the road seemed to become harder to drive on. Bobby winced as the truck bounced up and down on the uneven dirt road.

" Hold on, Babe, it's going to be a rough ride! ", Bobby grunted whilst the truck jerked up and down erratically.

Bobby hugged his truck to the side of the trail, as the truck passed over the erratic terrain.

Lori bounced up and down as Bobby's truck vibrated violently. The blonde clenched her teeth and held onto dear life. The communicator, now forgotten, slipped from Lori's grip and rolled underneath the seat.

Everything was progressing well, until Bobby and Lori felt something ram into the side of the truck. Lori screamed, while Bobby looked out his window, feeling panicked.

Instantly his heart froze as he saw a large form running alongside the truck; it was hard to see any features, but Bobby could feel its yellow eyes glaring at them.

" Babe! Babe, what is that? Did something hit us"? Lori practically shouted as the truck was once more hit.

With Lincoln far from view, Bobby turned sharply as the creature swiped its claws down the side of the truck, making a terrible scratching sound.

" SOMETHINGS RUNNING ALONG SIDE THE TRUCK! I THINK ITS TRYING TO FORCE US OFF THE ROAD"! Bobby's scream blending in with the sounds of tearing metal.

The truck rocked back and forth as Bobby stepped on the gas pedal, attempting to put as much distance between the truck and whatever seemed to be attacking them.

Lori held on for dear life, the twenty-two year old defensively wrapped her arms around her abdomen in a desperate attempt to protect the unborn life inside of her.

Bobby took a sharp turn, and the truck rocked on its side as it began to roll over. Their screaming mingled with the sounds of shattering glass and crunching metal.

Lori screamed sharply when her head smashed against the passenger side door. She frantically reached for Bobby's hand as they continued to roll with the truck landing on the driver's side door.

"BABE! PLEASE SAY SOMETHING, BOBBY", Lori shrieked as she reached for her unresponsive boyfriend.

Bobby was slumped down with his head to the side, his face and shirt were caked with blood and there was a large laceration on his forehead. To Lori's relief, Bobby's chest Continued to rise and fall with his each breath...

"Please wake up, baby...I need you," Lori whispered as she struggled to get her seat belt off.

The seat belt in question was the only reason why Lori hadn't flown out of the windshield, and now it was stopping her from reaching Bobby.

Lori fumbled with the seat belt, her bloody hands slipping as she tried to push down on the button. The sound of shrieking metal caught Lori's attention. The blonde looked up and her blood ran cold and her heart seemed to stop.

A lean figure was crouched on top of the truck, its black fur gleamed in the moonlight as it stuck its tooth-filled snout in Lori's direction. Luminescent orange eyes bore into Lori's very soul, as the creature let out a low snarl.

Lori flinched, as a clawed hand gripped her seat belt and seemingly tore it from the chair. With a scream, Lori attempted to crawl backward as she hugged her belly.

The Nahuala's ears lay back on her head, and she batted Lori's hands away and grabbed her by her powder blue sweater.

Lori slammed her eyes shut as silent tears ran down her cheeks, a cold snout rubbed against her cheek as a warm tongue rasped against her face. Lori could feel herself being pulled from the truck, before being slowly lowered to the floor.

With wide eyes Lori locked eyes with a beautiful Hispanic woman, with blazing orange eyes and long silken black hair that curled around the sides of her face.

The woman was clad in a long black dress that had a large slit up the side, baring her long cinnamon-colored legs. She was barefoot, however, her nails were abnormally long and sharp. Upon her neck, she wore a necklace that looked to have been made with sharp canines and other teeth.

" W...who are you?", Lori's voice trembled slightly.

The woman let out a small barking laugh as she patted Lori on the head as if she were a particularly stupid child" pobre Lori... ¿no estabas escuchando el cuento de Rosa?"

Lori's mouth hung open, and Lupita chuckled, "Such a simple child, fear not, no harm will come to you, Roberto, or my unborn grandchild...I just wanted to catch up".

" Now you be a good girl, and continue to spawn more little Nahuala's for me"

In a final move of desperation Lincoln grabbed a brick and used it to shatter the glass on the front entrance of the Royal woods mall.

He then used the brick to break the lock on the shutters. Lincoln dropped onto all fours and crawled through the small gap.

The sharp sound of an alarm pounded through Lincoln's eardrums. Ronnie Ann was still in hot pursuit, however she was hesitant to follow Lincoln into the mall.

To this Lincoln sighed in relief. Lincoln lay panting on the floor in his itchy costume, feeling utterly exhausted.

"Lise? Do you hear me, Lisa"? Lincoln panted into his communicator as he slowly crawled to his feet.

Things were definitely not going as planned and Lincoln knew it was only a matter of time before the night security guard came to see what was making all the noise...

The communicator let out a scratching sound and Lisa's voice sounded off "Lincoln! Where are you!"

"I managed to evade Ronnie Ann, but she's circling the mall. However, as you can probably hear, I tripped off the alarm", Lincoln explained.

Lisa let out a long sigh" I'm hacking into the mall security system now"...

The alarm ceased and Lincoln looked around himself cautiously. "Thanks, Lise"...

" The night security gaurd is walking over in your direction...it's imperative that you lead Ronnie Ann into an area where we can contain her"...

Groaning in frustration, Lincoln rolled his eyes. "And where would that be? I thought Bobby and Lori were supposed to meet me halfway. Where are they, seriously?"

There was a long silence before Lisa spoke" Something happened...Bobby and Lori were ran off the road Lincoln...Bobby's hurt"...

Lincoln's heart ached and his breath caught, the idea of Bobby or anyone being hurt was enough to make him worried.

"What happened"! Lincoln demanded.

" Now...is probably not the time Lincoln...Lynn Jr and our male parental unit are on their way with a new tranquilizer".

Lincoln nodded, as he eyed his surroundings. He was on the ground floor of the mall, there was a subway nearby, a shoe store on one side, and an open lobby area and a build a bear workshop off to the side...

" How long till dad and Lynn get here"? Lincoln asked...
