Chapter 7 (Ascension): First time in a fight

The Rodríguez house

Four days has passed and during that time period Alexia had spent it trying to get better and better control over her powers and in all honesty, she was enjoying herself a bit more then she probably should of.

Her enhanced speed and strength she tested it out by either just running from one end of the city to the other in like only a few seconds or when she would lift up very heavy equipment one handed and doing it like she was just lifting up a paperweight and even then, she was being generous.

Alexia was then remembering about her being extremely durable and using her superspeed decided to ram herself into a nearby an abandoned warehouse, where Alexia rammed herself through a wall and it didn't hurt in fact ramming through that wall, in fact to actually tickle her a bit to the point where she let out a slight giggle at it.

Alexia actually rammed herself into a handful of other things and each time it more or least just tickled her and also it made her feel like she was invincible and that she could fight and beat anyone.

Alexia also worked her telekinesis and her ability to manipulate her purple energy which she had improved drastically in. Along with that Alexia also improved her ability of telepathy where she could control whose minds she's can read and amount of minds that she could read but she wasn't perfect at it.

The main power that she was struggling at mastering was that Cosmic blast as for the first three days, Alexia was struggling to control and fire it where she wanted to aim it. Alexia was at first even occasions she was getting sent flying through building and getting sent flying through the roof from time to time. But when she began to learn how to fire it and how not to get sent flying, she got better and better at using it and learning how to control it.

Along with that Alexia also didn't know how to use that earthquake like powers of hers or it how it worked but she suspected that was a good thing with the current state of the city and how it probably wouldn't be a good idea to use that at the moment.

Overall Alexia felt the best that she had since before she had learned about these powers but this time, she felt even better then she then back then.

Alexia would usually do her training with her powers outside of her house because not wanting to have her siblings find out what she's doing along with that she didn't want to risk to destroy her house.

Alexia was actually keeping in contact with her sibling a lot better than she was before because of her not really being scared like she was before.

But she still wasn't talking to David because of her not forgiving him for hiding her being an alien and about her powers.

Right now Alexia was currently doing some maths question since she was basically home schooled at this point.

Aleixa after finishing looked at the tv at something that had caught her eye.

"¡Otro crimen de bandas! ¡Tasa de criminalidad en Guadalajara! (Another gang crime! Crime rate in Guadalajara!)"

Alexia knew because of police being spread out to thin that the crimes in the city has had a dramatic increase.

Alexia after seeing that man get shot a few days ago and that she could have done something about it with these powers, but she acted like coward but now… now she had the means to fight and help people.

Alexia also knew that it might be a good idea of her to disguise herself so that she could be able to not let the police know who she is and get herself arrested for vigilantism and she definitely didn't want some dangerous criminal to know her and risk coming after her siblings.

"But how am I going to keep my identity hidden?" Alexia asked herself.

That was when her eyes trailed off to her wardrobe as she walked towards it.

"Alright let see what I got." She said to herself as she began to search for what she can wear when it comes to crime fighting.

Five minutes later

Alexia was currently wearing a super girl suit from DC which she wore at Halloween party that her older brother invited into two years ago which the suit still fit her even though she had grown since then.

Alexia looked at herself in the mirror before deciding, "Nope. Too unoriginal." She decided before changing looking into something else to wear.

Five more minutes later

Alexia was now wearing what almost looked like a giant mutated bee costume with the colour design, the looks, the wings on her back and large stinger being placed right by her ass. Along with that Alexia also had bee like sunglasses placed on her face with made her look at herself in the mirror like she had gone insane.

Alexia shook her head while looking at herself in the mirror, "I'm supposed to be fighting crime, not looking like an insane mutated bee that's gone crazy and needs to be placed in mental asylum."

Alexia then began to remove the suit looking for something else that she could wear that could actually work.

'Hopefully that was the only stupid thing I had in here.' Alexia hoped to herself.

Another Five minutes later

It turns out she was wrong…

As now she was wearing a giant bear suit that looked Walmart Winnie Pooh if Winnie Pooh was more of a lighter brown coloured fur along with if he had eat a truck load of honey and was extremely overweight. Along with the body the head that she was currently having on made it looked like Winney Pooh's rejected cousin if he was a drug addict which made the whole thing look even more ridiculous.

Alexia looked at the bear costume that she was currently wearing and was wondering one thing, "Why the hell do I have this in my wardrobe?" Alexia asked herself completely confused on why she had this.

Another Five minutes later

After going through multiple different cloths and costumes, Alexia finally managed to find something that she could wear that she could work with. Alexia was wearing a pure black with some purple on it Ninja suit which did look tiny bit baggy on her, but she like it that way since even with these powers she was still a bit self-conscious about her body along with that she also had black Nikes on to help with her movement.

Alexia looked round at herself before deciding, "It works problem is I lost the mask." Alexia said to herself annoyed as she didn't want to go out without something to protect her identity. That's the whole reason she was digging through all these cloths and costumes.

Alexia then saw something that caught her attention and walked towards the wardrobe.

When she looked at a luchador mask that James had given for her birthday last year which was it a bit of a strange present to give her because both Carlos and Leo were more into sport then she was. Even though she would watch sports like Football since like her siblings she supported Fc Barcelona though she did it more because of her family supporting them more than anything else (Though she did have a crush on Lionel Messi, but she would never admit that) but she did love it and decided to keep it, but she didn't get to use it often.

The mask looked like you would see from some luchador who was going with more of a royal themed gimmick, but the mask was covered in black (Which Alexia didn't understand at the time period since blue was her favourite) in majority in it while almost the almost Teairra shaped by the forehead region which instead of gold you would associate with royalty, this one was instead in purple.

Alexia then tied her hair into a bun before trying the mask on to see if it would fit her and to see if it can work and to her delight it did.

'Everything's set.' Alexia though with a sigh.

Despite all the powers that she possess, Alexia can't help but feel a tiny but nervous. Alexia throughout her whole life was never really a fight, never really someone who would want to get physical. Hell apart from just doing one year of boxing but that was mostly box fit sessions along with three months of Taekwondo since Carlos and Leo wanted to have her leave the house more often.

But now…

Alexia while trying to calm her nerves when her eyes landed on her Captain America poster on her bedroom wall.

Alexia then remembered a quote that sounded appropriate right now, "There are men laying down their lives. I got no right to do any less than them." She quoted in her head.

Though they weren't in war right now like Captain America was during World War Two what right does she have to do nothing while people are caught in a mess that she had created? She started when she lost control of her power and cause all of this destruction and innocent people getting killed.

And now they were currently in this situation because of her creating this mess.

'I'm the one that created this whole mess and now I got to be the one to try and fix it." Alexia promised to herself before she said something that would be linked with her for years to come…

"If I don't do this, then who will?"

Alexia then stealthily left her house in order for to not have to answer to her siblings or David why she was going dressed like she was.

Not noticing that a certain AI was had spotted her and was watching the whole thing and was telling her creator.

An hour later near the rooftop of some bank

'If I got changed into this just to fight crime and there's no crime going on today, I'm going to lose it.' Alexia thought to herself annoyed.

She had spent an hour looking for any kind of criminal or even just simple things like someone that was trying to steal from a candy store or anything, but fate decided to be cruel to her and right now everything was calm and peaceful.

All of this made Alexia wonder if she decided to take a day off or something.

Right she was standing on some random roof which she managed to climb up on as at the moment she was currently looking for anything involving the criminals that were causing all the mayhem in the city, but she was struggling to find anything that was even worth her having to even bat an eyelid.

"Maybe I was just over my head trying to look for trouble or something." Alexia said to herself.

She was about go back home until something stopped her dead in her tracks…

She heard a very loud bang noise that caused a tiny bit of shaking which caught her attention along with the very loud alarm noises that she was hearing.

Being both motivated to help people and also being bored waiting for an hour to do something but now she finally had something.

Alexia using her superspeed to help with her jumping from building to building allowed her to get to the location faster and also so that she could keep her high vantage point.

Alexia then knew immediately what was happening…

She was currently on the top of a building which was facing one of the largest banks in the city and it was the largest one outside of city centre though which it was still open and didn't hold too much damage to it because of its location. And Alexia also noticed that there was a giant hole on the right side of the building.

Alexia couldn't help but feel both excited and nervous about the whole thing but knew that there was no backing out now.

It was go big or go home.

So with a sigh, Alexia began to make her way over to the bank that the gangsters were in.

Inside the bank

Multiple of the gangsters that had similar clothing and tattoos to the once from yesterday but had something covering their faces rather it be a mask, or a bandana were currently wielding weapons were currently patrolling the inside of the bank for any police or anyone trying to get in or out. Meanwhile further inside were some more of them with one of them wearing more of a smarter looking suit you would see from businessmen.

"¿¡Por qué tarda tanto en pasar la avería Víctor!? (What´s taking so long Víctor!?)" The smartly dressed man demanded.

"Casi he terminado señor sólo intento no arriesgarme a que salte la alarma. (Nearly done sir just trying not to risk causing the alarm to go off.) Víctor informed his boss.

"Bueno, creo que nos van a pillar hacienda un agujero en la pared del banco, idiota. (Well i think they're going to catch on to us blowing a blowing a hole in the bank wall, idiot.)" The boss responded not happy.

"Bueno, quizás deberíamos haber entrado de una forma más sigilosa. (Well maybe we should have gone for a more stealthy way to enter.)" One of the thugs tried to whisper.

Unfortunately for him the boss was close enough to hear him.

The Boss then turned around to face the person who said that and shot him right between the eyes with a handgun killing him instantly.

"¿Alguien más quiere hacer un comentario inteligente? (Anyone else want to make a smart comment?)" He asked the remaining thugs that were nearby who silent, "Bien (Good)" He said as then he turned back to Víctor.

Meanwhile in one of the high points of the bank in the upper floor, Alexia entered the bank and was overlooking the whole situation.

Alexia could see that a bunch of the thugs were currently on patrol most likely keeping an eye out for any kind of police or security that would try and stop them from robbing the bank and if Alexia had to guess there was probably more inside of the bank trying to break in.

Unfortunately for them they weren't expecting an overpowered teenage alien girl whose dressed up like a luchador ninja to show up.

Alexia but take a few steps backwards before using her superspeed in order for her to jump over the handrails that placed in front of the floor that she was on and by most likely luck she was about to land right on top of one of the guards.

Alexia delivered an axe kick while falling down from her jump which hit the man right on the head making him crash right down on the floor which caused him to get knocked out instantly. Alexia who crotched down before spreading both her arms out and to each side of her blasting both of the other guards that tried to shot her with her energy blast which cause them both to get sent flying towards the walls crashing into them.

The rest of the guards them aimed their guns at her, "¡¿Quién demonios eres!? (Who the hell are you!?)" The guard shouted.

"Sólo la chica del barrio que te va a patear el culo (Just the local neighbourhood girl whose going to kick your ass.)" Alexia responded with in a sassy tone.

Alexia did noticed that one of the thugs looked like he wanted to radio help on his walkie talkie.

'Can't let more get in here otherwise things are going to get complicated here.' Alexia thought to herself.

Alexia then used her superspeed removing not just the walkie talkie but also the guns of all the guards.

The guards looked at their hands in shock that their guns or in the guard trying to inform the others about this brat. They then looked up and saw the brat tauntingly holding the walkie talkie and one of the guns in front of them making fun of them.

"¿Busca algo? (Looking for something?)" Alexia mockingly asked.

"¡Monstruo! (You freak!)" The guard exclaimed getting ready to charge at them.

"Eso sí que es grosero, creo que debería enseñarte modales (Now that's rude, I think I should teach you some manner.)" Alexia said with faint offence before she charged right at them.

Alexia used her superspeed to her to easily dodge the attacks that were coming from the thugs but when it came to delivering the attacks herself, her kicks were quite skilled for someone who did Taekwondo for only a few months but her punches on the other hand to say they weren't skilled was an understatement. Alexia was almost jumping off the ground when she was throwing her punches and she almost looked off balance when she was punching.

The only reason why her punches were still hurting anyone was because she had enough power to punch through walls and then some.

Alexia managed to knockdown three thugs before seeing one of them try to jump her from behind. Alexia using her superspeed to easily dodged the guys punch before she grabbed the guy by the scruff of his neck one handed and lifted him up over her head which shocked the man and the rest of his allies before she threw him towards a bunch of them knocking them all down.

Alexia then turned in time to see that some of the thugs had gathered their gun and shot it at her.

Alexia flinched at the shots that were fired at her before she felt them connect with her body and it didn't even hurt her, in fact it actually tickled her more than anything else.

The guards then looked shocked at how now she was just walking right through the bullet shots like they were nothing while having a confident smile on her face.

"Lástima de idiotas. (Too bad idiots.)" Alexia said with almost cocky attitude before she blasted the guards with her energy blast which sent them flying.

Unknown to Alexia is that two of the thugs actually had a taser gun on them which they then fired on Alexia just as she turned around to face them.

Despite being hit by a taser which was electrocuting her, Alexia couldn't help but laugh as the thing was tickling her and she felt that with each second that she was being electrocuted that she was getting stronger and stronger by the second.

That's because unaware to Alexia was that she was glowing more and more as she was getting electrocuted because she was absorbing the electricity from the taser to gain more power from it as the two thugs that were using the taser stood shocked not knowing what to really do since the taser was having no effect on the girl.

Unfortunately for them, they didn't need to.

Alexia then swatted her left arm towards the both of them which caused her to release a large amount of energy that sent the both of them flying instantly knocking them out.

Alexia looked slightly shocked at that before looking her left hand, "Didn't know I could do that." She said to herself.

Alexia didn't get too much time to really focus on that however as another bunch of thugs who Alexia could only assume was the one trying to steal the money from the safes since they were carrying a bunch of bags of money with them. Along with that Alexia could see who she was assuming was the boss since unlike the others he was actually dressed really smartly.

The boss seeing his men knocked out on the floor got angry, "¿¡Quién demonios eres!? (Who the hell are you!?)" He demanded angrily seeing the men he placed in charge of keeping watch all being beaten and knocked out.

"La Persona que hará lo mismo con el resto de ustedes y los enviará a prisión. Ese es quién. (The person who´ll be doing the same thing to the rest of you and sending you to prison. That´s who.)" Alexia answered smugly which pissed off the boss.

"Por qué tu pequeño… (Why you little…) The boss was gritting his teeth as he turned to his men, "¿A qué esperas? Mátala ya! (What are you waiting for? Kill her already!)" He ordered as his men then charged right at her.

Alexia was busy dealing with the thugs that were charging at her that she did begin to notice that the thug's boss along with three of his men that had stayed behind were trying to grab the bag that had the money inside of it which it didn't take Alexia having to have mind reading abilities to figure out what happen.

'He's using the others in order for him to get away.' Alexia thought to herself as she dodged a punch that was coming towards her before she delivered a falcon punch (Thank you Captain Falcon) which knocked the guy out instantly.

After easily taking out the thugs that were sent after her with her either just using her telekinesis or using her energy blast without them getting anywhere close to her and those who did get close to her got beaten by her easily.

Alexia turned around and was about to go in pursuit of the boss and his men who was carrying the money until Alexia heard some kind of noise.

It turned out this gang had more then one truck as a different truck came charging into the bank and was charging straight towards where she was looking to ram right at her.

This caused Alexia to temporary forget that she was super durable as she immediately flinched and had both her hands trying to protect her.

Which caused another shocking effect…

Alexia saw some sort of vibration force blast out of her which caused a mini earthquake the same as the one that devastated the city but unlike before this one was a lot weaker and was aimed at one area, but it still managed to crack the ground that she was on. The vibration blast ended up blasting the truck which sent it flying which caused it to crash into a nearby wall as some of the thugs looked like they got knocked out by the crash.

Alexia looked shocked at what she had just done.

'I didn't know I could do that.' Alexia thought shocked to himself.

Alexia then felt a lot of pain in her arms and looked at them and saw some sort of bruising on her arms and not only that, but she saw some of her blue blood coming out of her arms. For Alexia it felt like there was thousands of angry bees inside of arms and she had to grit her teeth to prevent herself from screaming out in pain.

Meanwhile the boss and the thugs that were carrying the bags filled with money rushed into the truck, "¡Date prisa mientras ese monstruo está distraído! (Hurry while that freak is distracted!) He ordered his men.

Alexia then felt her arm quickly recovered and noticed that the van that held the boss and that the money that they stole was beginning to get away which caused Alexia to notice it and begin running in pursuit.

Alexia with her superspeed managed to keep up with them as well as her using her telekinesis in order to slow them down and once she got up close to them, Alexia then jumped up and landed on the roof of the van.

Alexia then was about to get to the front of the window to try and break through the window, the van suddenly stopped which caused Alexia to go flying off it and her to crash on a nearby old building which looked like it was one more big hit away from falling down.

And that big hit happened to be Alexia crashing into it which was now causing the entire thing to begin to collapse and fall down which made things worst as Alexia spotted a bunch of kids that were currently playing nearby in the direction that would lead to the building to fall right on top of them.

Though Alexia wasn't hurt by crashing into the building she immediately grew alarmed when she saw that the building was going to end up falling on top of those kids and also that the thugs were getting away.

Alexia was now in a bit of a difficult situation, 'Do I save the kids or go after those thugs'.

Technically for Alexia there was really only one answer since her conscious wouldn't be able to survive letting an innocent people die.

Alexia use her superspeed and just before the collapsing building could end up landing on top of the kids, Alexia showed up and using her super strength held up the parts of the building that was going to land on top of the kids which caused them to look in shock at what she was doing before she moved the building away from the kids.

Alexia looked in the direction that the kids before asking them "¿Estás bien? (Are you alright?)" She asked them

"Estamos bien, gracias. Pero ¿quiénes son ustedes? (We're alright thank you. But who are you?)" One of the kids asked her.

Alexia didn't answer at first as she looked of in the directions where those thugs escaped and knew that she's probably let them get away when went to save the kids, but she doesn't regret it.

'There's always next time.' Alexia thought to herself before answering the kids, "Sólo alguien que quiere ayudar. (Just someone who wants to help.)" Alexia then heard the police siren and knowing that vigilante was illegal, she knew that it be smart to get out asap, "Y es hora de que me vaya, adiós niños. (And it's time for me to get out of here, bye kids.)" Alexia said before using her superspeed to get away before the cops could show up as she made her way back home.

Unaware or forgetting about the security cameras that would be in the bank was recording her whole fight in the bank.

The Rodríguez house

Alexia tried her best to sneak inside of the house knowing that David would be asleep and that her siblings would either be in there rooms or asleep. Alexia sighed thinking that she was safe thinking that she was safe since the room was dark meaning that the lights was dark and that everyone was probably asleep.

That was until she heard something that made her stop in her tracks, "Well what do we have here?" A certain AI voice said to her.

The lights turned on and Alexia saw both Carlos who looked both annoyed and concerned at her and she also saw a very smug looking at her with a look that said, 'Someone's in trouble'.

"Shit." Alexia swore though she wasn't one to usually swear this was a time it called for it.

Alexia then saw the news report that had images and film concerning her and what she did in dealing with those thugs.

"Double shit." Seeing that this made things from bad to worst.

Meanwhile elsewhere

The Blue skinned man was smirking looking at the one he was looking for and was slightly impressed by the power and then decided to made his mind up.

'I think it's time we meet.' He thought with a smirk to himself.

AN: Sorry if the fight scene wasn't good, I did my best but anyway, It appears Alexia has began to start her life in crimefighting but now has caught the attention of a certain alien and now is ready to meet her.

What shall happen? You'll just have to wait and see.
