First day after waking she just tried to keep pushing everyone including her family away. She would just sit on the bed and cry, she wouldn't talk to anyone. She had been there for three weeks. She was furious with everyone or that's what she wanted them to thank. Severus tried to reason with her, but nothing helped. Draco's eyes were red and puffy. He had been crying nonstop, he hadn't come out of his room since she sent everyone away. That night while everyone slept Draco snuck in to see if Sky was okay. He sat at her bedside making sure that when she breathed it wasn't her last. After a few minutes she started to stir awake. His eyes were so full of tears he laid his head down next to her arm. He hadn't noticed that she was waking up. She opened her eyes to see him on side of her crying. "You seem to like sneaking in here at night," she said, smiling. His head popped up and he looked as if he was seeing a ghost. They started to talk about anything and everything. They both knew not to talk about anything having to do with the war, but she couldn't help but ask. He climbed on to the medical bed with her and they continued to talk. They ended up falling asleep on the bed together. Some would say it was luck that the sun woke Draco before anyone walked in. That morning she woke to no Draco but a very happy Luna raving about something called a Nargle. She will have to ask later when she is more awake. Sky tried to pay attention but she couldn't focus. She was wishing he'd walk through the door at any moment. Then the door opened and Blaise entered with Pansy following behind him. Pansy was raving about how he should know why his best friend is sneaking around, and about and where to. That made Sky snicker a little knowing it made her mad that she knew but his girl didn't. That was a bad idea considering Pansy was on a rampage, but Blaise kicked her out before she could start up again. He started laughing and headed to her bedside when he glanced down and saw what would soon lead to problems in his friendship later. It was next to the chair at her side, Draco's ring, it was gold with a green M on it. He pretended not to see it, since she hadn't seen it either. He and her talked about her classes and everything she has been missing. When he dropped the question on her "Will you go out with me?" She was so stunned and her mouth wouldn't work. So she asked "Could I answer you later about that?…. I just need time to think" He nodded, grabbed his jacket and the ring off the floor and walked out. Later he heard Pansy and Draco fighting about his disappearance. He walked in and through his stuff to the ground, he tossed the ring to Draco. At that Pansy lost it and yelled "We are not done! Chat room later!" With that she walked out and slammed the door. "What will make you keep your mouth closed and never speak of this again?" Draco asked "Leave Sky out of your drama, she has enough going on she doesn't need you getting her killed!" Blaise practically yelled, Draco said nothing he only nodded. "Why is it that easy for you to give up on her?" Blaise asked. "It's not but what choice do I have? I must marry Pansy. I signed the contract just after the...war." Draco said storming out the common room back to his room. Luna knocked on his door that night just before he was starting to leave for the tower. She said the strangest thing even for Luna. "Harry is the boy who lived, but you are the boy who had no choice." He just sat on his bed and said nothing. Just as he grabbed the door knob she said "That doesn't make you a coward it makes you the bravest person I know, but I must tell you I am quoting Skylar when she found out about your past. She believes you are great just the way you are and you could even be better. Just think about it. I hope this time when the time comes you'll be on our side should we need you."
