When Xena caught Gabrielle staring at her again with that look in her eyes, she sighed. "Why do you keep staring at me like that?" she questioned.
Gabrielle sighed before her face lit up and she threw a curveball in Xena's direction. "I want you to be my wife. Marry me?"
Xena gasped, her eyes searching Gabrielle's. "You're serious?"
"Absolutely," she confirmed.
"Then yes, I will absolutely marry you - I want you to be my wife too, Gabrielle." Xena laughed in disbelief.
Xena and Gabrielle couldn't wait to marry one another and officially start referring to each other as wives.
