A/N: Hey guys, this is DarkCrisan366, this story is the third part of The Strangest Things: Purging of Evil which takes place after the end of the second part. Jun "Hunyo" Panganiban teaming up with the paranormal investigator named Jovito "Jovit" Palanca and new character Juancho Caluag who is responsible for releasing Reina in the game to become his game partner to investigate the kidnappings caused by the cult leader and a devil worshipper named Rham Kazaa who leads his cult to hunt down the innocent due to the suffering from the deadly curse inflicted by one of the gypsy family members he had killed. Meanwhile, Rhima has a new mission to find the leader of the Tekken Monks which happens to be Heihachi Mishima who had survived from being thrown in the lava river by his son, Kazuya on the end of Tekken 7. This story is based on the 2009 horror film, Drag Me to Hell and the 2013 Philippine horror film, Pagpag: Siyam na Buhayl. The third part also includes DLC characters in the game within Season 1 and flashback side stories which were not seen in Tekken 8 Story Mode. Here is Part 3 of the story.

The Strangest Things: Purging of Evil Part 3

45 years ago, the married couple named Roman and Lucy had mourn over the loss of the first child named Emmanuel and Roman angrily renounced his faith to the Lord our God and makes a deal with the devil Satan, he must kill nine people and claimed their lives in order to revive their dead son. With a lightning strike, their son Emmanuel was revived and reanimated. But unfortunately, they were cursed by the people from the town. They burned their house down, and Roman was burnt alive to his death and his entire family was branded as the devil worshippers. Unaware to the married couple, Roman's sister, Eva had rescued their son Emmanuel during the fire and was taken inside the church in order to stay away from his biological parents. Five years had passed, Emmanuel was currently raised and adopted by Leni Dela Torre and her uncles and was renamed as Macmac and they worked at the funeral business. Cedric Castillo and his friends including anyone who broke that superstition leads them to their deaths. Their deaths caused by the ritual made from Lucy in order to revive her dead husband. Cedric's friends including Leni's uncles and Eva became their casualties. When she tried to attack Macmac, Leni tells her the truth about their son and Macmac was indeed Emmanuel. Because of this, her husband's spirit attempts to kill both Leni and Cedric only for Lucy to intervene and being impaled by a girder that claimed her life including her second unborn child and Roman was revived and being reanimated. Lucy tells Roman that he unwittingly killed their second unborn child and their son Emmanuel was not killed in the fire before dying from her wounds. Roman was enraged to go after both Leni and Cedric. But Cedric kills him by stabbing him with a sword when he had attempted to kill Leni. Despite their deaths, their spirits remained present. 40 years later, not even the married couple would be branded as devil worshippers. There was one man who is also a devil worshipper and a cult leader to execute his captive victims as sacrifice. But for what reason he kills them? Could he be follow the devil Satan? Or perhaps he was just a victim from a deadly curse that was hunted by a powerful demon called the Lamia.

The man allows his men to beheaded his victim in front of him. He remembers the time of how he had executed one of the members of the Ganush family after cursing his cuff link by chanting in different language and uttering the demon's name Lamia and eventually threw it away. He was furious to see what this gypsy had done to him.

At the present day with the song "Bazinga" was played, both Hunyo and Reina continues to clash with their respective punches which were embedded with different colors of lightning. Hunyo's lightning is able to overpower Reina's which made her recoiled on her right hand.

"Hmph..."

Both continues to exchange their blows and Hunyo is able to parry Reina's moves. Reina delivers Twin Pistons and Demon Breath, almost knocking him out. Hunyo easily noticed that she used the same method to knock Jin in the eighth tournament during the Asian B-Block preliminaries to recognize the Mishima-Style moves.

"Both Twin Pistons and Demon Breath. They are the old bastard's moves, don't you?"

"Who's the old bastard you're talking about?" Reina said sarcastically in arrogance which Hunyo reveals it to her.

"It's pretty stupid to see you don't know who am I saying. That old bastard was your father, Heihachi Mishima."

Reina was horribly surprised to hear him saying her father's name which Hunyo reveals the truth to her.

"He was the one responsible for causing this main family feud. He even killed his own beloved wife, Kazumi Mishima who is actually a Devil Gene user. Kazuya had his reasons to kill his own father to get revenge over killing his beloved mother and his harsh treatment as a child. You idolized him because you loved him so much, but in truth he doesn't care about you because he wants a worthy person to become a Mishima like him."

With this, Reina was angered upon mentioning her father, Heihachi and tries to charge at him. Hunyo parries her last kick which counters with a barrage of punches followed by a forward kick and a powerful roundhouse kick to the face. Reina was angrily gritted to see him.

"You're history! And bow down to me!"

Reina tries to punch him in the face only to counter her by making a powerful uppercut to the groin that launches her in mid-air as he quickly goes in his fighting stance with his right hand glows in red orange, he imitates Jin's Electric Wind Hook Fist to damage her and his Leaping Side Kick to stagger her. Hunyo eventually defeats her by making a powerful punch to the face to knock her into the wall. All of the students including the college staffs and the dean Leandro Pantoja are happily cheering for Hunyo for his one-on-one victory. Reina struggles to get up and also clutches her left cheek that almost breaking her teeth as she thought.

Damn him...! I lost the fight... and he almost break my teeth. People like him in the real world are different. This is not like in my world. Even Jin Kazama would even feel this hard beating.

"Ms. Reina..."

The man appears to find Reina was badly hurt from a fight and he sees Hunyo and he looks at him with a cold stern and he apologizes.

"Uhm... I'm so sorry for Ms. Reina... I didn't know she can barge other halls from this university."

"Are you the one who released her?" Hunyo questions the man which he confirms.

"Yes..."

At the dean's office, Reina was given some cold compress on her left cheek and the man explains to Hunyo about how he released her.

"I was formerly a Heihachi player who played Tekken 5 until this new game came out. I tried playing Reina in the game and was unexpectedly released on its own. After that, she keeps pestering me to explore all over the Metro to find someone she had knew."

"The smarty lady's father, was a tough guy." Reina said admitting how tough Hunyo is and she compares him to Jin in her normal voice with a deeper pitch. "He's like Jin Kazama in many ways... particularly in both personality and demeanor. The only difference between them is their age."

"If you're looking for both Jin and Rhima, they are living together in one condominium at the SM Mezza II Residences. Apparently, both Lee and Rhima are trying their best to help Jin for his money problems especially giving a suitable job. Living in the US is very costs a lot." Hunyo said knowing about their whereabouts and Reina stands up to know who he is.

"What is your name? I know for sure if I called Jin-senpai, you would be so damn angry."

"My name is Jun Panganiban... and just called me Hunyo because I would be mistaken as the name of Jin's mother, Jun Kazama." Hunyo finally introduced himself to Reina much to her surprise and shock.

"Your name is a unisex name at Japan but don't mentioned about that woman you're saying, I was so disgust on that. Since you know my secret as Heihachi Mishima's daughter, you and smarty lady are spared for my pretentious acts. I never expect someone like you would beat me so bad."

As Reina decided to explore further in other halls and no longer causing trouble, both the man and Hunyo were relieved and knowing she was a threat and the man finally introduced himself.

"Sorry for Ms. Reina... she really acted like a queen and I didn't like her behavior one bit. My name is Juancho Caluag, and I'm a college student from Centro Escolar University and as a spiritualist from San Sebastian Church. According to the head priest from the church I was working on, you were formerly worked as a paranormal investigator that can see ghosts or any forms of paranormal and supernatural. What do you see from Ms. Reina?"

"My daughter Rhima confirmed that she was a Devil Gene user. When we fought one-on-one, I sensed the devil side within her and it was already been active since." Hunyo said confirming of Reina being a Devil Gene user and soon tells Juancho. "She lost her cool after I mentioned her father, Heihachi and I'm sure this impacts her."

"Wow... that was too much."

"Well both Jin and Kazuya had those too. But since both were purified and erased Azazel and the Devil Gene with Jin's angelic powers, they're no longer utilize these powers. Before that, Reina wanted to face either of them to unlock her devil powers." Hunyo said telling him about how it happens in their story and Leandro arrives to see them.

"Hunyo... I'm permitting you to go with Caluag at the San Sebastian Church. When it comes to the topic about anything paranormal, you can go with him."

At the San Sebastian Church, they are meet by the head priest and they had met Hunyo a long time ago.

"Long time no see, Hunyo..."

"Is that Fr. Aries...? It's been a long time..." Hunyo recognizes the head priest which Juancho was surprised and Reina grunts to see them both.

"You two knew each other..."

"As you know Juancho, Hunyo had already visited this church when he investigates about the Duarte family. This church is also the place where Ruth S. Duarte had her last wake before her interment at the Manila Memorial Park. So Hunyo, what do you see inside of the church?"

Hunyo tries to see the surroundings within this church and sensing two spirits. He eventually sees two dead spirits who visited to see them as he thought.

Those two spirits... are they trying to warn us? No, they were here to see us for a purpose.

"They were two spirits, Fr. Aries... Sounds like they are here for a purpose." Hunyo said telling the head priest of what he had found.

"Wow... you can see dead spirits, Jun-sensei... I was hoping if you can see my father's spirit someday." Reina said amusing over Hunyo's high spiritual awareness.

"These spirits came from outside of the Metro and I think its from that past incident that nine people had broke the superstition such as the pagpag that claimed their lives using the ritual in order for the dead loved ones to be resurrected. This is the work behind the worshippers of the devil who makes this deal."

"We always go pagpag by eating fastfood after we visited in the funerals." Hunyo said and wanted to know more about this incident. "Just tell me more about this incident, Fr. Aries..."

"Hunyo... there's one person who knows this incident and I think he had witnessed the death of his parents who were devil worshippers. His name is Emmanuel... I think today he was already 45 years old since that past incident and currently he lives in San Getrudes where both of his parents died from a burning house after he, Leni Dela Torre and Cedric Castillo had escaped after he slayed his resurrected father to save Leni's life before he attempted to stab her with a broken wood stick."

At the car and motorcycle car garage, it was owned by one of Hunyo's old friends which is Jeffrey "Jeff" Pangan. His employees are doing their best to car wash and detailing his 2015 Toyota Land Cruiser due to the new parts for the 2016 Toyota models.

"I'm happy that you let your daughter hired a Japanese guy to help us deal some disgruntled customers. I've never seen people coming from the fighting games we played can live here in our world."

"This is their life..." Hunyo said and noticed a man wearing the back of the ball cap and he recognizes the two bangs are hanging loose while wearing it and he calls him. "Jin!"

The man was shocked to see Hunyo and seeing his presence.

"Mr. Panganiban... you easily noticed my appearance."

"I can easily noticed your bangs from your hair are getting loose." Hunyo said pointing out on him which Jin removes the cap to reveal his hair.

"I'm glad that Rhima-san just convinced these people including their owner to hire me in their car and motorcycle repair shop and car wash. According to her, the repair shop of motorcycles owned by the leader of a motorcycle club."

"Yep, that's right... and this is where I bought Rhima a car for her birthday gift. I had a friend here who is the owner of this garage." Hunyo said and confirming about he bought Rhima a second-hand car which is the 2015 Toyota Camry, much to his surprise.

"You really have lots of connections here."

Therefore, an Toyota Rav4 Hybrid just pass through to get his car washed as someone gets out, revealing to be Broadie Miller and was accompanied by his game partner, Lidia Sobieska. Jin was surprised to see her presence.

"Hey... is that Jin?"

"Yeah... why he was with the car washers and Mr. Panganiban was present too." Broadie said confirming of their appearance and waved at Hunyo.

"If isn't the guy who made my daughter take that no good bitch who is indeed a real man. I didn't expect you came here with the Polish Karate practitioner who is a Prime Minister in the World of Tekken."

"It's a pleasure to see you again, Mr. Panganiban... It reminds me of how you let us join to your cause." Lidia said reminiscing of how Hunyo enlisted them to battle Domon and his group. Jin noticed she hasn't changed.

"Still had the same attitude like last time."

"Same goes to you."

"Oh yeah, Mr. Panganiban... do you know where Rhima was? We tried searching for her at the condominium she had currently lived and they say that she had went somewhere."

"I think she was currently teaching Grade 11 students in every other subjects at the UST High School. She was already driving to UST with the car I gave her as a birthday gift."

"Mr. Panganiban... is it okay if I borrow Jin for a while? I'd like to test his fighting abilities. I sensed that he has no evil within him. The last time, I beat him when he knew he was holding back on the fight."

"Hey, Jeff... what do you say if we turned this entire garage into a fight pit."

"Hey... I love UFC battles..."

With this, the employees are gathered for the customers to see how the entire garage turned into a fight pit. Jin was surprised to see the surroundings.

"Okay, Jin... This time, I want to see how you fight in Karate."

"I can't believe that they want me to fight you looking like this. I can see that you're no pushover."

"Neither are you, let's begin!"

With this both of them spar within their respective fighting styles. Hunyo was watching them how they fought. He remembers his fight with Jin when he challenged them to fight to let Rhima to come with them.

"I've never seen they can fight like this. It was from the game..."

"Yeah, that's right... Since our world is connected to theirs, it will be a one hell of a match." Hunyo said while watching them fight.

Hours later, Lidia was surprised to see how stronger Jin is today and noticed that he has changed and decided to call off the fight.

"Huff huff... I'm completely amused... you became stronger than the last time we had fought."

"Not a bad workout. We can spar again sometime if we are in our world."

"You were right..." Lidia said also agrees with him and tells him. "Our fighting styles maybe different, but ending the war and our world will be at peace is the same."

"You two did well... these different styles of karate was impressive." Hunyo arrives to see them both and amused over their respective fighting styles.

"Lidia, Rhima-san... is going home soon. I think you might enjoy their cooking at their home." Jin convinces Lidia to come to the Panganiban residence which she accepts.

"Oh sure... I want to try something to eat."

As the three of them speaking about going to the Panganiban residence, Hunyo looks on to see them excited but deep down, he was upset for the incident at the San Sebastian Church.

At the Panganiban residence, it reveals that Lidia was amused over Hunyo's cooking dish as well as Lee's. Broadie finally had a conversation with Rhima about his love life and having conflicts over an obsessed and insecure woman when he had already with someone else. Hunyo decided to leave them for a while. While watching to the night sky, he sadly remembers about his refusal to join with Juancho in his travels to San Getrudes as he thought.

It's been 32 years since I quit as a paranormal investigator and I live my life as a college sports professor turned an infamous vigilante. Looks like there is something else is going on in that place. There must be a different reason.

Hunyo gets his e-cigarette and was about to vape. Jin sees him and he quickly swatted away, much to his horrible surprise.

"Hey! What did you do that for!?"

"It's gonna hurt your lungs, Mr. Panganiban... I've never seen you were vaping or smoking and it's not good for your health." Jin said while angrily raising his brow on him which he became sad.

"I was stressed too much. I know it's bad for my health. I was just mad earlier because of a college student wanted me to go on a trip outside of the Metro."

"..."

"That's the work of a paranormal investigator. To investigate many crimes involving supernaturals and paranormal. I've quit that job so that I can live normally and I ended up becoming a heroic vigilante who fights any forms of crimes and terrorism." Hunyo said sadly and Jin tries to convince him by speaking in broken English.

"You should start over, like mine. You already seen me and Kazuya as devils when we transformed. And you don't see me in my new form too and I already showed this to Rhima-san. Zafina was the one who made me go back to my home island to purge the evil within me. I maybe the shining star of hope, you were the brave and heroic person who is enough to protect everyone from your world. "

Hunyo was motivated by Jin's words of starting over as Rhima came to see them and tells him.

"Dad... you already told me about your past job. I've never seen you kept with me and my mom. We're all rooting for you, dad."

"We will support you, Hunyo-san..." Jun arrives after she teleports to see them with her energy ki in a yellow light and gladly that her son Jin is present.

"Mother, why are you here?"

"I sensed the wind takes on a different direction and I've sensed that there was more evil within this world." Jun said informing her son about what she had sensed and tells Hunyo. "Hunyo-san... you must go back as a paranormal investigator. It seems that you're the one who can see it all evil."

"Mr. Panganiban... my mother can sense you for being a paranormal investigator. She supported you as well and we're all counting on you." Jin said telling him and Hunyo finally renewed himself as a paranormal investigator.

"All right... I'll do it again for the last time. Do you know why I see ghosts or anything paranormal or supernaturals? Because I'm an A-class medium and why normal mediums can't even see anything dangerous such as demon spirits and making the seance."

"Dad... I can't believe that you can see a lot of things." Rhima said excitedly which Hunyo reveals it.

"Yeah so many of them, Rhima... And I always go to the cemetery to observe and see human souls to most graves. I already seen your brother Jun Carlo at the afterlife when we go to his grave."

"Hunyo-san... we can actually give you this. This will protect you." Jun gets Hunyo's right palm as both Jin and Rhima touch as well as it glows in a yellow light so that he feels their ki.

"The energy ki..."

"No matter what happens to you, Hunyo-san... don't let yourself be killed."

Jun soon disappears in a yellow light by teleportation and Jin tells him nicely.

"That energy ki we gave you is to protect you from any forms of evil. You were so lucky that you fought and defeat Kazuya in his powerful devil form but not his true form because he will you kill you severely."

"Dad... we'll take care of ourselves. I'm sure that Mr. Lee will accompany you on your travels." Rhima said cheering on her father which he looks at them.

"You two are the ones to motivate me even Jun is watching me since she can travel between our worlds by teleportation. Perhaps, I need to apologize to Juancho for my actions first."

After the dinner night as everyone is asleep, both Jin and Hunyo are glowing in a red and yellow light due to synchronization as it whited out. Hunyo soon awakens at the active volcano where both Heihachi and Kazuya had fought as he thought.

Am I in the World of Tekken? This is their actual world not the ones I've travelled in.

When he examines the lava river on the cliff, he saw a vision of how Kazuya threw his father Heihachi into the lava river before facing Akuma. Hunyo sensed someone's presence and he thought it again.

Impossible, Heihachi is already dead? Everyone believes he was completely dead. Even Reina would try to avenge his death. That would mean...

"Looks like we meet again, hahahaha..."

Hunyo then looked to see a seemingly alive Heihachi Mishima who had survived from falling into the lava river. He was horribly shocked to see him alive.

Trivia:

*Hunyo is able to emulate Jin's moves during his fight with Reina which was taken from the climax fight with him and Kazuya at Story Mode.

*The jean shorts and sandals Jin wears is from the Summer Set customization outfit in the game being sold at the Tekken Shop.

*Lidia Sobieska returns in the third part and both her and Jin within their special win animations and interactions are modified in this chapter than in the game.

*Broadie Miller makes an appearance along with Lidia Sobieska and he was revealed to have a new girlfriend being after by an obsessed woman. His current incident is based on the Philippine Drama, Asawa Ng Asawa Ko (My Husband's Wife).

*Hunyo is revealed to be a vape smoker in his late 20's when he was about to take his vape only to be stopped by Jin.

*Heihachi Mishima also makes an appearance on the climax and the first time Hunyo sees him alive following his survival from getting thrown into the lava river.
