In the end, Lan Zhan chose not to attend Nie Huaisang's party on Saturday. It was somewhat due to not being in the mood, plus he wished to relax for after such a busy week.

Wei Ying didn't seem too disappointed when he apologized after informing him of this via text message. He said that he hadn't really expected him to go, though it still would have been cool if he did.

And u don't have 2 b sorry. I understand! I'll probably spend the whole day at home 2morrow myself. Maybe we can chat at some point then he added.

Lan Zhan

Yes, I am not opposed to that, if either of us have time. If not, then I will see you on Monday. And I will see if I can at least attend your birthday party on the Tuesday after next.

Wei Ying

Ok but u don't have 2 if u can't or don't want 2. I'll understand if that's the case

Lan Zhan

I will still try. I do not mind.

Wei Ying

Ok. Thank u

Lan Zhan

You are welcome, but there is no need to thank me. I do hope you will be safe and enjoy yourself, however.

Wei Ying

lol I will. Nie-xiong's parties r usually fun. If ur able 2 come 2 the 1 4 my birthday u'll c

Lan Zhan

I will keep a note of that.

Wei Ying

. Cool. I have 2 get ready 2 soon so I'm gonna go. I'll tell u about the party 2morrow or Monday ok?

Lan Zhan

All right. Again, have fun and be safe.

Wei Ying

Ok! :D

Lan Zhan laid his phone back on his desk then before turning to gaze at the poster that was now on the wall near it. He had set it there the shortly after he returned home yesterday. He smiled to himself, thinking again of how perfect it looked there. It was as if it had been meant to be there all along.

Wei Ying, for his part, did have fun as usual. In addition to the great music and drinks, there was dancing, and also cool games to play. He still wished that Lan Zhan had been able to come, but as he told him earlier, he understood. He had only just told him about the parties on Wednesday, so it may have felt too soon for him.

"Don't worry. He might be here next time. You know, for your birthday," Wen Ning reassuringly pointed out after he explained this to him (minus the fact that he wished Lan Zhan had decided to join them, of course.)

"Maybe. I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't, though. Like I told you guys before, he doesn't care for parties," Wei Ying remarked.

He nodded. "I know, but that doesn't mean he can't have a change of heart at least once."

"Yeah. Oh, and do you happen to know what's up with Nie-xiong? He's been looking a bit upset since yesterday afternoon."

Wen Ning just shrugged. He didn't plan on informing Wei Ying that Nie Huaisang lost the bet with him and Jiang Cheng since he wasn't aware of it.

Not suspecting anything, Wei Ying shrugged too, believing that he didn't know either. "I'll just ask him about it later. I'm going to go do some shots. Want to come?" he asked.

"Yeah...but I'll only do one or two."

He hadn't forgotten how furious Wen Qing was when he was brought home drunk beyond his senses. She didn't get angry or yell at him, but it was still scary to see her like that.

Wei Ying clapped his back. "Okay, then! Let's go!"

He went to find Nie Huaisang after having five shots of really strong vodka. When he asked him what was bothering him, however, the latter told him that it had to do with one of his classes.

"It isn't something too annoying, though. I'll be fine," Nie Huaisang added, slurring a bit. He had also had several drinks.

Although Wei Ying was well past tipsy by this point, he still had a feeling that he wasn't being honest. Nevertheless, he shrugged and let it be. He knew that he would have told him what was the matter if he wanted to.

"Hey, I meant to ask you something, by the way. What happened to your poster yesterday?" Nie Huaisang then inquired. "I noticed you didn't have it in Art Theory. Does your Education 101 teacher have it?"

"No, I gave it to Lan Zhan," Wei Ying responded. "He liked it a lot, so I let him keep it. I don't really have any use for it now that the project is over. I'm surprised that Jiang Cheng or Wen Ning didn't tell you about it already. They and Shijie know."

Nie Huaisang rose an eyebrow, perking up with interest. "They probably forgot to. But really? Did he ask to have it?"

He shook his head. "No, I just gave it to him. I have pictures of it, though, so I won't miss it too much."

"Mmm."

Nie Huaisang looked like he wanted to say something else then, but smirked and kept it to himself instead. Wei Ying rolled his eyes, deciding that he wouldn't even bother to ask what he was thinking.

It wasn't until early the next evening when he video called Lan Zhan to tell him about the party. He woke up late due to not getting home until around 3:00am. Plus, he had the remainder of his homework and other things to take care of after.

Lan Zhan answered it after a few seconds, the corners of his mouth rising when he saw him. As he had the last time he contacted him, he appeared to be in his room.

Wei Ying returned the smile with a bright one of his own. Hi Lan Zhan! he greeted.

Hello. How are you? I had already begun to think you were not going to call today.

Seeing that Lan Zhan looked mildly concerned, Wei Ying was quick to reassure him.

Oh, I am fine. Do not worry. I did not wake up until about one o'clock this afternoon since I got home really late last night. Then there was stuff I had to do. You?

I am also well. Thank you. Did you enjoy yourself at your friend's party? You must have if you had stayed there late. I hope nothing bad happened?

Only once. A couple of people had nearly gotten into a fight, but Nie Huaisang's older brother Mingjue - we call him Da-ge - and the guys' friends managed to get them calm them down before they could. Da-ge would have kicked them both out otherwise. But yeah! It was a lot of fun aside from that...

Wei Ying then told him about everything else that happened, and about the things they could do at Nie Huaisang's parties. About the activities and games that he, his brother, and friends participated in. He explained the kind of food and beverages that they had too.

That was quite a lot going on. And I did not know that you drink alcohol. I never have, Lan Zhan signed when he was finished, looking shocked and worried. You have to be twenty-one, correct? You are only seventeen until your birthday. You should not be drinking at all. Neither should your brother or your friends. You are all underage. You and others could get in trouble.

Wei Ying shrugged. I know, but none of us have yet, and we have been since we were fourteen, going on fifteen.

This admission further took Lan Zhan aback. He had believed that they only recently started to.

"Mmm," he grunted after a brief moment. How did you get home? Did you have a designated driver?

No, we got a Lyft home. Do not worry. We never drive when we are drunk. Even we know better than that.

Good. Because that would be dangerous.

Yeah. But Nie Huaisang and his brother still make sure they have non-alcoholic drinks too, for the people who have to drive, or do not like or cannot have alcohol. So, you will not have to worry if you come to my birthday party. I will look out for you.

Lan Zhan nodded. "Mn." Thank you.

No problem!

After that, Wei Ying changed the subject.

That is it for me, though. What did you do all weekend? How is your brother? he inquired.

He is fine, thank you. We spoke a few times. And I read, mostly. But I also watched a few shows I like. I had homework for Business Ethics to do as well, but that was completed on Friday. I mostly stayed in the house except to buy groceries yesterday. I also cleaned around the house some, Lan Zhan responded.

Wei Ying grinned. I noticed you reading at lunch often, when we are at school. You must love to read.

"Mn." I do. Do you like to?

Yeah, sometimes, depending on what it is. I mostly like drawing or painting or playing video games, though. I play my flute when I am in the mood, too.

Lan Zhan's eyebrows rose. Interesting. I do not think that you have mentioned that yet. I can imagine you play beautiful music.

Wei Ying nodded as rubbed the back of his neck. I made it into all of my schools' bands since I was about eight, so I can say I do. It was not hard to learn; I have always loved music as much I love Art.

Humming, Lan Zhan signed, If I were able to hear, I would have asked if you could play part of a song for me. But only if you wanted to. I would have understood if you did not. I often wish that I could hear my own music.

Wait, wait! *You* play too?! Wei Ying demanded. He was the one taken aback this time, not to mention impressed!

Yes. Xiongzhang taught me how to play guqin along with reading music years ago. He plays guqin too, as well as the xiao flute. Even though I do not know how my music sounds, he and Shufu have told me that I am excellent.

That is amazing! You are almost like Beethoven, just with a different choice of instrument!

Lan Zhan chuckled quietly. I suppose so.

If anything, I would like to hear *you* play, but you do not have to do it right now. I will understand if you are not in the mood. And you probably have other things you want or need to do - or take care of - right now. And I have to get ready for tomorrow soon.

I truly would not have minded. However, you are right. Another day would be best.

No worries! Just let me know when you have time.

"Mn." I will. And...

Lan Zhan paused as he thought over what he was going to tell him next. Wei Ying tilted his head, curious.

I would not mind going to the party on your birthday, Lan Zhan concluded, having arrived at a decision. As long as it is still all right.

Wei Ying beamed. Of course it is! Huaisang did invite you to both, remember. The difference with this party is that most of the people will be in costume since it will be Halloween, but you do not have to. Some do not dress up because they do not celebrate it.

Understood. I shall keep that in mind. And if there is a change of plans, I will let you know as soon as possible.

Cool. I will do the same too if anything comes up on this end. I am going to go for now, though, okay? See you tomorrow in English! Call me back if you need anything.

Same to you. Good-bye, Wei Ying.

Bye, Lan Zhan!

And after a cheerful wave, Wei Ying hung up.

If Wei Ying, Jiang Cheng, and their friends were anxious when they were heading to English 101 the previous Monday, they were even more so on this one. Mr. Xiao would be giving out the results from their midterm exams that morning; he had informed them of this on Friday.

Wei Ying was less nervous than the other three. He was still sure that he had passed his well enough. However, his brother and friends weren't certain if they did at all.

"I hope I managed to get an 80 or 85 at least. Da-ge will be pissed otherwise. But I may have gotten a 70 or something, for all I know," Nie Huaisang commiserated.

Jiang Cheng snorted. "I'll be surprised if I scored an 80 on anything, much less in English, even with all the studying I did! At best, I probably got a low to mid C too! And you know how A-Niang is. You have it good compared to me. At worst, your books are taken away, if you aren't screamed at or threatened. I'm lucky if one side of my face isn't numb after an encounter with her!" he exclaimed.

Wen Ning didn't say anything, just fiddled with the strap of his book bag.

"At least we'll find out if we passed English soon enough," Jiang Cheng remarked.

"Yeah," Wei Ying agreed. "And we can compare how we did once class is over. We can do the same with our other classes later today and tomorrow too...and Wednesday, in A-Cheng's case. He doesn't have Business Ethics until then. After that, all the suspense will be over!"

They nodded, and Jiang Cheng huffed.

"Good," he grumbled.

The four of them sat in their usual spot once they were in Mr. Xiao's room. Several of their classmates were talking amongst themselves, but the rest were either on their phones or quietly waiting for the lecture to start.

Wei Ying noticed Lan Zhan peering at him close by. He smiled and waved, remembering their conversations from that past weekend, and the latter inclined his head in return. Then, seeing that the desk beside him to his left was unoccupied, Wei Ying gestured to it.

Would you like to sit here? If not, that is okay, he signed.

He would understand if Lan Zhan was still getting accustomed to the fact that they were friends. Nor would he blame him if he wanted to get used to being around his brother, Nie Huaisang, and Wen Ning too. If either or both were the case, he would let him be.

Lan Zhan didn't answer him right away. He pursed his lips, mulling over his question.

A moment later, he nodded a second time before gathering his things and making his way over. Wei Ying was rather taken aback. A part of him wasn't expecting this.

Thank you for inviting me to join you, Lan Zhan signed once he placed his books on the desk.

Wei Ying waved his hand with another grin. You do not have to thank me. You can sit next to me any time you like. And you can always join us at lunch too, if you want. You do not even have to ask, so no need to be shy. A-Cheng and Shijie and my friends will not mind now that you are acquainted with them. They know you are okay.

Well, he personally thought that he was more than okay, but he chose not to say that out loud.

Lan Zhan gave him a tiny smile. He both flattered and touched Wei Ying's kindness. "Mn. All right. And how are you?"

"Oh, I'm fine. Just interested in finding out what my midterm's grade is. What about you?"

"I am also well."

"Cool, cool."

Lan Zhan then greeted Jiang Cheng, Nie Huaisang, and Wen Ning, who either nodded or gave a small wave back. He missed Nie Huaisang shooting Wei Ying a teasing look afterwards. The latter responded by swiftly and playfully kicking his ankle.

The lecture went as it usually did, so there wasn't much to say about that. Nie Huaisang managed to stay awake this time, so there was no need for pranks.

Mr. Xiao didn't give out their exams until the last ten minutes of class. None of the students were sure if that made them feel relieved, irritated, distracted, more apprehensive, or a bit of all four.

Wei Ying, Jiang Cheng, and his friends waited until they all had theirs before huddling together to compare their grades.

Jiang Cheng had a 75 and Nie Huaisang a 78. Wen Ning had received an 86, and Wei Ying had gotten a 97.

"Well, at least none of us failed," Nie Huaisang mumbled.

"Yeah," Jiang Cheng agreed. However, he still felt rather down. His knew his mother wouldn't be too pleased with his grade. It was only barely just above passing.

Wei Ying patted his back sympathetically. "Don't worry. You know I'll go over the test with you and help you with the correct answers. That way, you will be able to do better on the final."

"I know. Thank you."

Wen Ning smiled at him at little. "I'm not surprised you have an A, though. You almost always get one."

He chuckled. "Yeah. But hey, you did pretty good yourself."

Then Wei Ying tapped Lan Zhan's arm, nodding at his test when he turned to him. "What did you get on yours? Not that you have to tell me. You don't have to if you don't want to."

Lan Zhan shook his head. "No, it is fine. I passed with an 100," he stated in a low voice.

"Really?!" Wei Ying demanded in awe, taken aback. Behind him, everyone else jaws dropped in disbelief. "No way! Let me see!"

He handed the test to him, and indeed, there was an 100% on the top right corner of it.

"Awesome! I can't say I'm too surprised, though. Like I said before, you're smarter than me!"

"I disagree. You did quite well too. Your grade is not far from mine," Lan Zhan observed, seeing Wei Ying's own score.

Wei Ying beamed. "Yeah, that's true. But I still disagree with your disagreement. You're still somewhat smarter."

"Mmm. If you say so."

Behind him, Jiang Cheng and his friends exchanged amused, but endeared glances. They had never seen Wei Ying playfully bantering with anyone the way he did with Lan Zhan. Not even with them, Jiang Yanli, or Wen Qing. They found it rather cute.

Mr. Xiao eventually dismissed them a few minutes later. Wei Ying reassured Jiang Cheng that he would discuss his exam with him again before telling him and Nie Huaisang that he would catch up with them at lunch.

"I'm gonna walk with A-Ning and Lan Zhan," he added.

Jiang Cheng snorted as Nie Huaisang grinned, then nodded.

"Okay," the former said.

It was then that Lan Zhan noticed that something was up, and he frowned in bewilderment.

"What do your brother and Nie Huaisang find so funny?" he asked Wei Ying as they and Wen Ning quickly made their way to the Precalculus classroom.

Even though he had ideas, Wei Ying shrugged and replied, "Probably an inside joke or something."

Wen Ning discreetly turned to hide his own smile.

Lan Zhan pursed his lips. "Mmm."

He wasn't certain if he was being truthful, but he let it be.

"Are you going outside since you don't have any other classes this morning?" Wen Ning inquired next once he controlled his expression.

Wei Ying signed his question for Lan Zhan's benefit, then said no. "I'm heading to the Club Organizations office. I've been seeing posters about an archery club here and there, so I want to check that out," he replied, continuing to sign.

"Ohhh! It'll probably be just like when we were in it in high school!" Wen Ning exclaimed.

"Yeah, and in middle school too, for me. But I'll find out after I join. Want to join with me?"

"I don't know. I'll think about it. I wasn't as great at it as you. Plus, I didn't even stay in it for long."

"Pffft. You were fine after I helped teach you, remember? You were pretty good yourself!"

"Well...yeah, I guess so."

Meanwhile, Lan Zhan's eyebrow had risen in interest. He couldn't help but ask himself what wasn't Wei Ying talented in.

"I never imagined that you participated in archery, Wei Ying. I can imagine that are you quite skilled at it, if you have had that many years of practice," he noted.

Wen Ning leaned forward. "He really is! You ought to see. Maybe he can show you soon."

"Yeah, for sure. I wouldn't mind," Wei Ying agreed. "Did you ever learn archery, Lan Zhan? Or at least just how to use a bow and arrow?"

He nodded. "Several times. When I was fifteen."

"Oh, cool! Why don't we all go for it? That way, I can show you how to do it again. It's not very heard to learn. And I can even ask A-Cheng and Huaisang if they want to, too."

Lan Zhan was quiet for a moment, then responded, "I will consider it also. I would need to know the days and times the club will be first. I will be able to make a decision then. However, I am not opposed to it."

Wei Ying beamed. "Okay! And I'll tell you once I find out."

"Mn."

"That sounds good. But here's our class. We should go in," Wen Ning said, pausing in front of a door.

Remembering how their teacher was, Wei Ying laughed. "Yeah, you'd better. I'll catch you both at lunch, unless you decide to go home since you don't have any other classes today," he added to Lan Zhan.

Wen Ning smiled. "Okay."

"Mn," Lan Zhan repeated. "I will be there. I do want to eat before I leave."

"All right, then. See you soon!"

They nodded, and with a second wave, Wei Ying left to go to the Club Organizations office downstairs.

He liked the archery club's coaches. One was brusque, but playful. Another was a tad more serious, and third and fourth more energetic and vivacious. They gave him information about what day and time it would start, and where they would have it. Anybody was welcome, and they would teach those who weren't experienced.

"The only thing we ask is for those who join to be genuinely interested in our club, stay the course if possible, and most of all, to have fun and enjoy themselves!" Coach Atteberry, the third one, declared enthusiastically.

"I wouldn't be here if I wasn't interested," Wei Ying remarked with a laugh.

"Good!"

He signed up then and promised to recommend the club to others. They appreciated this and thanked him.

Jiang Cheng and his friends met him in the cafeteria at lunch, since he arrived a bit earlier than they did. He noticed Lan Zhan holding a tray of his own food outside of the canteen moments after and approached him, offering to show him to their table.

"I checked out the archery club, and I wanted to tell everyone about it. But I can text you about it later instead, if you want. I know you usually like to eat by yourself," he pointed out.

Wei Ying was still aware that this could make him feel way out of his comfort zone.

However, Lan Zhan shook his head. "I do not mind. Lead the way."

Everybody was initially surprised when Wei Ying returned with him. Like him, they didn't think that Lan Zhan would agree to join them at their table. Not that day, at least. But they took it in stride as usual and greeted him as they had in English. It wasn't the first time Lan Zhan sat close to them, after all.

The archery club wasn't mentioned right away. Jiang Cheng, Nie Huaisang, and Wen Ning talked about their second classes first and their midterm results from them. Jiang Cheng managed to scrape an 81 for Business Law, but he still felt he could have done better. Nie Huaisang got a 93 in Fundamentals of Photography, but he expected to do well in that. And Wen Ning received an 88 in Precalculus.

Lan Zhan had scored another 100 in Precalculus, which he told Wei Ying when he asked him. He just watched everybody interact for the most part as he ate, speaking a few times if he was spoken to. He appreciated that Wei Ying and Jiang Cheng signed their conversations and what they were saying to include him. It was quite thoughtful of them.

From what he noticed since September, they usually got along very well. He would even catch them playfully shoving one another or roughhousing at times.

Jiang Cheng often seemed irritated with Wei Ying, of course, but he could tell they cared about each other in spite of that. The latter was comforting and understanding when his brother expressed his disappointment about his grades. He told him that an 81 was still good, nevertheless, and also promised again to help him study.

Wei Ying brought up the archery club once they finished discussing their midterms. He also explained when and where it would start, and what the coaches were like.

"They're pretty cool, so I signed up right away," he concluded.

Nie Huaisang chuckled. "I'm not surprised. It's up your alley."

"Yeah. But why is the club starting so late?" Jiang Cheng inquired in bewilderment.

"I asked that too, and Coach Ray said that they meant to start weeks ago, but there was a hold up that caused a delay."

Everyone nodded.

"That make sense. But I won't be signing up. I'm going to spend the rest of the semester trying to get my grades up. Even if I wanted to join, I wouldn't. Mother would all but force me to spend more time studying too. Plus, I'm no good at shooting a bow and arrow," Jiang Cheng remarked.

"And you know that I don't have an archer's bone in my body either," Nie Huaisang added. "It still sounds fun, though."

Wen Ning chewed on his lip. "I...I guess I'll sign up. It can't hurt," he said in a quiet voice after a moment.

Beaming, Wei Ying exclaimed, "That's the spirit! And what about you, Lan Zhan? Do you want to, or did you already choose not to? I'll understand if you did."

Lan Zhan hummed. "The day it begins is agreeable for me. And the time it starts is after my classes. It also ends at a time when I can still be home early enough. I do want to think it over more, however. There are other matters I need to consider as well," he responded.

"Ahh. Well, don't worry. The coaches said there is still time to sign up if anybody wants to. Take as long as you need to decide."

"Mn."

If the others were shocked at their exchange, none of them showed it right then. This was the second time Lan Zhan was considering to take part in anything Wei Ying invited him to. As with the parties, they secretly believed that the former would gently turn him down.

Perhaps Nie Huaisang was right. Maybe Lan Zhan truly did like Wei Ying. And if not that, then he must want to at least be friends with him.

"You actually might win the bet at this point," Jiang Cheng would later tell Wen Ning.

"I don't know," Nie Huaisang said. "Remember what Qingqing said. Wei-xiong is pretty dense when it comes to romance, or even just attraction. It still could take a month or so."

Jiang Cheng thought about it, then agreed. "Yeah, that's true...but we'll still see."

Wei Ying walked with Lan Zhan to the building's front entrance after lunch was over. They talked for a moment before shaking hands and saying good-bye to each other. Then the former hurried upstairs; he didn't want to be late for Trigonometry.

He was quite pleased when he saw that he had gotten a 95 on his midterm for that class. For Art Theory, he had scored an 100, which really put him in high spirits. He was equally delighted for Nie Huaisang, who scored a 91.

Unfortunately, Wei Ying's good mood only lasted until early that evening. As he feared, Madam Yu grilled Jiang Cheng over his exam results, yelling so much that the living room echoed. He and Jiang Yanli watched in sympathy as Jiang Fengmian, who was getting a headache, rubbed his temples.

"How do you expect to get anywhere far in Business with a 75 and an 81?!" Madam Yu demanded, waving the papers in Jiang Cheng's face. "You'll need to do better than that if you plan to ever get to the top! I hope your next three results will be higher than these two, or so help you! The same goes for your final exams! Find a better studying method...because the one you're using right now isn't working!"

Jiang Cheng locked himself in his bedroom after that. He wanted to be alone and not be bothered. He let Wei Ying and Jiang Yanli in a while later, however, and they tried to cheer him up.

"You were probably just nervous. A lot of people are before a big test," Jiang Yanli whispered in a soothing voice.

Wei Ying nodded. "She's right. I was too, somewhat. Like I said weeks ago, college is tougher than regular school. I even found a good number of the exams' questions challenging myself."

Jiang Cheng grunted, his chin laying on his crossed arms. "Yeah," he mumbled.

Massaging his hair, Jiang Yanli reassured him, "This will blow over, and A-Niang will calm down in a day or two."

"I hope so."

"It will," Wei Ying murmured. "I'm still going to help you study, all right?"

"So can I with your English or Algebra, if you like. I did fairly well in those classes."

Jiang Cheng nodded. "Okay."

And true to his word, Wei Ying did as he also completed his own homework. He went over his midterms with him too, using Jiang Cheng's Business Law book and his English exam to see what he had trouble with or what was incorrect. This eventually cleared things up for the latter a good deal, and he thanked Wei Ying as he left the room.

"You truly are a lifesaver when you aren't being an irritating asshole," Jiang Cheng added.

Wei Ying laughed. "You're welcome. And I love you," he quipped back, though he meant it.

"Hmph. Whatever."

But Wei Ying knew that he loved him too.

He texted Lan Zhan at one point, curious as to how he was doing, and if he made it home safely. The latter soon responded that he had, and that he was fine.

Did you as well? Are you all right? he queried in return.

Wei Ying

Yeah 2 both. The bus was a few mins late but it wasn't 2 bad

Lan Zhan

That is good. The drive home was not bad for me either.

Wei Ying

Cool, cool.

He then told him how Trigonometry and Art Theory went, what he scored on his exams for both classes, and about what happened that evening.

Lan Zhan

It seems like your brother has had quite a time of it. I can only imagine what it would have been like to be in his shoes.

Wei Ying

I have been plenty of times and u don't want 2. It's not pretty trust me! Madam Yu can b really scary when she's mad!

Lan Zhan

I believe you. Is everything calmer now?

Wei Ying

Yeah I'm in my room. Every 1 else is 2 or watching tv downstairs. I'll probably just play a game on my 3DS til I go 2 bed after this.

Lan Zhan

I will be myself soon. It is almost nine o'clock.

Wei Ying

U really do go 2 bed early haha

Lan Zhan

I am used to it. I have gone to bed at nine for many years now.

Wei Ying

I understand. O and I hope we didn't make u uncomfortable at lunch. I didn't want u to feel crowded or anything

Lan Zhan

Not at all. I was fine. You and your brother and friends made me feel welcome. I would not mind sitting with all of you again.

Wei Ying

Good, good! U can anytime u like! We won't mind.

Lan Zhan

Noted. But I will let you go now. I will see you tomorrow morning.

Wei Ying

Ok! Good nite Lan Zhan. Sweet dreams!

Lan Zhan

You too, Wei Ying. Good night.

Author's Note: Hello! Sorry it took a while to post. This chapter took a detour I didn't expect it to go in. But Wei Ying's birthday party will be in the next one, and it may be a long chapter, but hopefully it will take a shorter time to write. I hope you enjoyed this one regardless, though, and I will see you all in due time! Until then!
