Another hour passes.
Bella takes two more shots while we catch up with Emmett and Rosalie. Masie gets lots of attention since this is her neighborhood debut.
Kids run around screaming.
Teens huddle with their phones.
Moms sip wine.
Dads man the grill.
Alice and Jasper boogie in the street.
Emmett takes Rosalie's hand and spins her, then dips. "Care for a whirl, my lady?"
She giggles, tipsy like Bella. "Only if you promise to do that again."
They wander off.
"Do you want to take her home?" Bella asks.
Masie's asleep.
"I'd rather dance." I hold out my hand.
