Worries
(With Charlie and Bella)
Charlie was in the kitchen. He was sitting at the table drinking coffee. His mind was on his daughter. He wanted to talk to her and just hoped that it went well. He was very worried since Bella had gone through so much.
"Dad?" Bella entered the kitchen. "Are you okay?"
"I am. I just want to talk to you." He said.
"Okay." She sat down.
"This is about Harry and Teddy."
"Okay."
"Do you like them?" He asked.
"Yes. I just feel so guilty." She admitted.
"Why?" He asked.
"I heard what happened with Teddy and that red haired man."
"Oh?" He wondered why she felt guilty when she helped to save Teddy's life.
"Lauren Mallory said that I bragged about the fact that I saved him and that Teddy is lucky because I almost didn't tell you." She said, looking ready to cry.
"That never happened. Lauren and Jessica spread that rumor after Molly came to the school and thanked you." He informed her.
"Really?" That made her tear up.
"Yes really." He went over and hugged her.
"Oh thank goodness." She sobbed in relief.
"Anything Jessica or Lauren say I want you to ignore them. They thrive on being horrible." He said,
"Thanks dad." She sniffled.
"You're welcome." He said.
It was a few minutes before Bella let go. She went to the sink and cleaned her face. She then looked back at her dad.
"Was that all?" She asked.
"No. I want to ask Harry and Teddy to move in here with us. I wanted to know how you felt about that." He said.
"I'm cool with it." She said, "Now that I know I wasn't going to allow Teddy to die I can handle being around them."
Charlie smiled. "Good, that's good."
"Yeah." She smiled back. "When are you asking him?"
"Tonight at dinner."
"Okay."
"Did you need to tell me anything?"
"No."
"Alright. Oh how is it going with Angela?" He asked.
"Good. She never blamed me and has helped a lot. Her parents have also warmed up to me." Bella answered.
"That's good." He smiled.
"Yeah. My grades have greatly improved. I…" She blushed. "I really love tutoring those kids and have been thinking of doing it professionally."
"That's wonderful dear." Charlie smiled at her proudly.
"Thanks." She smiled.
"You're welcome."
"I have homework to do."
"Okay."
She left the room. Charlie called Billy and Renee and let them know of what happened. Both were happy by the progress Bella had been making. The poor girl had been traumatized by her past behavior and was finally healing. They were all upset that she seemed to be bullied at school. Charlie decided to contact the school.
He explained what Bella told him and the principal promised to have it looked into. They were trying to crack down on bullying. Even though Bella had been a bully and a huge problem at the school they weren't going to allow her to be bullied, especially since it seemed Bella was mean due to a brain injury.
Once done he began to prepare for dinner that night. He just really hoped Harry would say yes. He was worried since that meant that if Harry and Teddy moved in they couldn't use their magic when Bella was around.
"I really hope he says yes." Charlie before he began ordering food.
(With Edward)
Edward had been in his room. He was soon going back to school. He still hadn't talked to Bella. He had been avoiding it for a while. He knew that he had to break up with her but it was hard. He still loved her but he knew it wasn't working and it wasn't going to work. The only relief was that the Volturi couldn't do anything to her.
He hated this whole situation. He really wished he had listened when his family first warned him against getting into a relationship with Bella. He didn't listen and look at what happened. Especially since he had almost killed her the first time they met. No, he had to date her. While he knew the bracelet had affected him he didn't once think about Renee and Charlie. They were her parents and they loved her. They planned to take Bella away from them and no once did they care.
"Edward?" It was Rose.
"Yes?" He looked at her,
"Are you okay? I can even feel your emotions." She said.
"No I am not. I have plans to meet up with Bella before school starts." He admitted.
"I see." She said, "Are you worried about breaking up with her?"
"Yes. I… I still love her despite all that happened. I know we don't work but I just can't help but want to try." He admitted.
"I understand." She said.
"You do?" He asked.
"After I was raped and left for dead I still my fiancé, even though he loved me." She admitted. "It took a long time to get over those feelings. Finding Emmett helped and not just because he was my mate. He showed me what real love is like." She said.
"It's been so long. I doubt my mate is out there." He sighed.
"Don't ever lose hope." She said.
"Thanks Rose." He smiled at her.
"You're welcome." She smiled back. "Now I have to get back to my car. The new part came in." She said.
"Okay. Have fun." He said.
"Thank you." She left after that.
(With Alice)
Alice was in her room. Her mind was on Bella. She had seen her at school but never approached her. She wanted to but she couldn't. She felt so guilty. She hadn't seen the changes, hell she never even saw the future of what that bracelet was going to do.
"Alice?" It was Jasper.
"Yes?" She looked at him.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Not really?" She admitted.
"What's wrong?"
"Why didn't I see the future after the bracelet was sent to Bella?" She asked.
"I have no clue. It might be due to the fact that magic was involved." He suggested.
"Maybe." It made sense.
"Talk to her. Just remember the story."
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Yes." He kissed her.
"Thanks Jasper."
"You're welcome."
"I will call and talk to her tomorrow."
"Good."
"Love you."
"Love you too."
