Coughs and Sneezies: A parody of Suds from SpongeBob SquarePants with Total Drama characters.

Disclaimer for the series: Some (though far from all) chapters will contain moments of nudity or underwear due to the canon SpongeBob episodes' plots and gags, though it won't be anything that wouldn't happen in TD or SpongeBob. Credits to another user on FF for letting us use their idea, and another for their cast idea who wishes to remain anonymous. Some episodes may also take massive strays from canon in order for things to work. Feel free to leave a review, follow, or favorite if you enjoy it!

F/N: No, that title is not a typo. It's an intentionally cuter version of Coughs and Sneezes because that's Ella's entire aesthetic, making things out to be much nicer and proper.

"Goodness…" Ella muttered as she tossed and turned in her bed. It was around 2 in the morning on a hot summer night, and she hadn't been able to get to sleep no matter what she did. At least not for longer than an hour at a time. She'd tried everything she was willing to try: she wasn't wearing her nightgown, choosing instead to sleep in her underwear, she had a fan at full blast pointing at her bed, and she wasn't using her blankets either. All of these either didn't help or only helped for just a bit before Ella woke up again.

She picked her blue stuffed penguin plushie Edgar back up for what was at least the fifth time that night and set it on the bed. Clearly, she was exhausted, and nearly out of actions she was willing to take. "Perhaps a small snack will help me in this situation…" She sleepily pondered as she went to her kitchen.

"Maybe some…" She started before proceeding not to finish that sentence and grabbing the peanut butter from the top of the fridge. She opened it for some jelly and felt the cool air on herself. "Oh, that feels quite nice. Perhaps I'll just…" She reveled in the cool air for just a bit too long, let go of the handle, and collapsed, finally sleeping. The fridge door was still open, leaving the girl wedged in between the door and the fridge itself.

Her cat curiously went to investigate this a few hours later, rubbing himself all over his owner. The princess slowly blinked her eyes as she woke up. "Oh, g-g-good morning, M-M-Mittens." She got out through some shivers and then sneezed into her elbow. "Oh-oh g-goodness, I feel c-cold." She stammered. "Achoo!" She sniffled before closing the fridge. "S-s-sorry, kitty."

Suddenly, she gasped upon noticing what she did. "D-did I l-leave the fridge open all night?!" She checked inside of it and saw that all of her food was thankfully safe since the fridge had to have its temperature turned down a lot more than usual. She sighed in relief, which quickly turned into a shiver.

The princess went up to the bathroom to check up on herself, looking in the mirror. "Goodness, I look dreadful…" She noticed, looking at her messy hair. She felt a big sneeze coming on and realized this. "Oh my!" She exclaimed and was going to pull her underwear over her nose before realizing that wasn't going to work since it only got about halfway up her body. She grabbed some toilet paper and released the sneeze into that instead. "Phew..." She breathed out, though the relief only lasted about a second.

"Meow?" Mittens questioned from behind her, making the songbird look down at herself. Her underpants were currently about halfway up her back, exposing a generous amount of her bottom.

"N-no, you're right, kitty. I s-shouldn't be wearing my underpants like this." She admitted through a sniffle, quickly pulling her panties back and letting them snap over her rear to fix the wedgie she accidentally gave herself. They comedically only returned to their proper placement one buttcheek at a time, her left and then her right.

Her teeth chattered yet again as she clenched her arms to protect herself from the cold, making her notice her state of dress. "I s-should dress myself." She added, going into her cabinet.

As opposed to her simple skirt and blouse, Ella put on a big winter jacket and sweatpants. It didn't exactly match with her shoes or bow, but she was more focused on warmth and comfort at the moment. The irony of being this cold in the middle of summer wasn't lost on Ella. She flopped down on a chair and decided to call her friend Sky to see how she could help.

"Hello?" The athlete questioned as she answered it, stopping her treadmill.

"My apologies for telling you this on such short notice, but- achoo! Excuse me- I'm feeling terrible at the moment." Ella's normally chipper and excited voice was now nasally and tired. If it weren't for her speech patterns and inflections, Sky probably wouldn't be able to tell it was her. "If it's not too much, may you take me to the doctor's please?"

"Oh, yeah, you sound awful…" The olympian's voice dripped with sympathy. "Just hang tight, Ella. I'll be there as soon as I can!"

"Thank you…" The princess pressed the hang up button after the girls exchanged goodbyes.

Right after the phone call was over, there was a knock at the singer's door. She tried to hum quizzically, but it just made her cough. She grabbed her throat in pain. "Ow… But this is quite odd. Sky can't be that fast, can she?"

Groaning in tiredness as she got up from her seat, she opened the door to see another friend, Owen.

"Oh, what brings you-" She tried her best to hold back a sneeze. "-here?"

"I just wanted to see what you were up to." The big guy revealed.

"Oh, well, last night - or I suppose this morning, I fell asleep between my fridge and its door."

"That happens to me all the time!" The big guy cut in as Ella paused to cough.

The songbird was happy that she wasn't alone, but she continued. "Yes, and now I'm going to the doctor's."

Owen's eyes turned wide as saucers as he seemed to get a realization. "No, you can't go!"

"Oh, why ever not?"

"Well, I went to the doctor this one time, and they made me wait for hours in this uncomfortable seat!"

Ella weakly brought her hands to her face. "W-well, that sounds- Cho!" She sneezed like a kitten. "-Excuse me, but that sounds manageable…"

"Oh, but that's not even the worst part! They make you read old magazines and wear a hospital gown!" The food lover paused. "Actually, that last part isn't that bad."

"But don't hospital gowns not cover..?" The songbird cut herself off, blushing as she pulled up her sweatpants.

"Yeah, but that's why that's the least bad! And sometimes, they don't even let you eat for a whole day before the procedure!" Owen got on his knees and whined loudly, spreading his own fear even further.

"I know she - um, the doctor - may help me, but I-I don't want to go anymore! Oh dear! Um, Owen, do you know how to help me?"

"Of course! C'mon, I know lots of treatments my parents who hated the doctor just as much as I do taught me!"

The scene cut to Ella and Owen in the princess's kitchen, where she was about to sneeze. Owen thought for a moment and plugged her nostrils with two corks.

"Phew! Thank you." The singer exclaimed as her sneeze was stopped.

"Feel better?" Owen stood proudly.

Ella spluttered once more, but it was muffled. She sneezed again, which was even harder and led to the corks ricocheting all over the kitchen like bullets would.

"Duck and cover!" Owen shouted, before hiding under the table.

"Perhaps we should try something else…" Ella sniffled and wiped her nose with a tissue. "Oh, and if I won't be going to the doctor, perhaps we should call Sky and tell her not to come."

The princess told the big guy what the athlete's number was, so he quickly dialed the number on his phone. "Hey, Sky! I'm with Ella right now, and she's gonna be feeling better than ever!"

"Well, I hope so once she gets to the doctor." Sky replied.

"Oh, no, she'll be fine! I'm treating her with some stuff my parents taught me!"

"Uh… I think I'll come over just to check on her anyways, okay? I'll see you two in a bit."

"No, wait-" Owen countered, but the olympian had just hung up. "Okay, Ella, she's coming, but it's okay, I'll make you better before she gets here!"

He ran to the kitchen, washed his hands, and put some latex gloves on. "You should always wash your hands before working with food!" He stated matter-of-factly. "But I always forget." He shrugged and dismissed the gloves.

The scene then cut to Ella laying on the kitchen table, barefoot. The food lover smeared her right foot with peanut butter, then slapped two pieces of bread on it. He licked his tongue before looking away, only to nibble on some crumbs. "Feel better yet?"

"No, sorry…" The princess tried to wipe the peanut butter off with a napkin from nearby.

Next, Owen tried to help Ella feel better by using a classic method: pulling a tooth out with a door handle. With the string tied to the knob, he shut the door… only for the singer to fall on the floor and groan in pain.

"Sorry! Did I shut it too hard?"

"I-it's okay…" Ella forgave.

The big guy was then wearing a gymnastic leotard and jumping up and down to try to help Ella. "Is…" He panted between every word. "This… helping?"

The princess was bouncing up and down, and not quite feeling the greatest. "Owen, wait! Please, stop! I'm going to- I'm feeling nauseous!"

Upon that warning, Owen immediately stopped jumping. "Sorry."

The scene cut once more to Owen with a large band-aid. He applied it to Ella's arm. "Better?" Upon a shake of the princess's head and a slightly audible "no," he ripped it off and moved it.

The removal caused Ella to scream. The big guy adjusted the bandage. "Now?"

"Well… no, perhaps not." She yelped again as it was removed again. Owen applied it a third time.

"Is it alright now?"

"I'm afraid no-" Before the songbird could even finish her sentence, she screamed in song as the bandage was taken off one final time. The camera panned away from the apartment.

Sky heard the commotion and paused just outside of the apartment door. "Either that was a really loud sneeze, or Owen's doing something bad to her in there."

She went up and knocked on the door, only to see Owen in a worn out coat with a jar of pickles.

"Hi, Owen. Is Ella in there?"

The food lover hurriedly made the princess breathe into the jar, before opening the door for the athlete. "Uh, yeah, she's here! But don't worry, she's all better now - I took a breath test and everything!"

"Hello, Sky…" Ella groaned through a cough.

"See? Doesn't she seem better?" Owen forced a grin.

"Owen, Ella has to see a real doctor." Sky insisted.

"No, she doesn't! Hey, Ella, say 'ah!'"

"Ah…" Ella opened her mouth, causing some green gas to come out of it and singe off Owen's eyebrows. The big guy seemed unbothered by the smell, but Sky groaned and waved the stink away.

"See? She's feeling terrible! She has to go." The olympian argued.

"No, she's fine! Right, Ella?" The big guy questioned.

The princess looked between her two friends worriedly as they argued over the sickly girl. Sky grabbed her by her left arm and leg, making her gasp.

"Come on, I'm taking you to the doctor's!" Sky declared with rare anger in her voice.

"No, she can't go! I'll take care of her!" Owen countered, pulling the singer's remaining limbs.

The food lover was fighting a losing battle, as Sky's olympic training had paid off, even with more use of her legs than her arms. That wasn't to say he was letting Sky win, though, and put up an alright fight himself. They made it out the door and outside of the apartment's front door.

"Friends, p-please!" Ella exclaimed, but her pleas went unheard. She was pulled all over the place until eventually, she was pulled to one direction.

But it wasn't in Sky's or Owen's.

Instead, it was down a hill. Ella screamed and yelped as she rolled down it, going further and further out of view. She could hear her friends yelling her name, but she was far gone, even with Sky's star runner capabilities. She rolled and bumped on three separate things before she finally felt herself slow down, followed by her body catching up with the pain. She was now at the base of Smoothie Clean's dumpster, grunting in pain.

"I-I think I should go to the doctor…" She mused, nursing her head.

The scene then cut to the songbird at the doctor's office, wearing a hospital gown as she laid down on a bed to try to help herself not feel as cold due to her bare legs. The doctor was right by her. "Well, Ms. Whiton, it seems like you just have a cold." She informed, prompting acknowledgement from the princess.

"Surely I won't have to read boring magazines!" She exclaimed worriedly, sitting up and putting her hands to her face.

"Oh, good heavens, no! We'll just give you some medicine and give you a bath to freshen you up. With permission, of course." The doctor assured, and Ella gave her a nod at the last part.

The scene then cut to the sick princess in a bathtub, with soap bubbles covering her body. Nurses came with soap and napkins. They scrubbed her clean, with the screen itself getting filled with the bubbles. She could be heard giggling like her old self as it went on, and once the bubbles popped, the screen transitioned once more to Ella back in the clothes she was wearing before the procedure.

"Thank you, everyone! I'm feeling much better now." The singer twirled, as she always did. One of the doctors handed her a lollipop, making her smile widely. She exited the doctor's office, now not feeling as fearful anymore.

A/N: Not too much to say about this episode. Just that Ella sneezing into her panties doesn't make too much sense, so they just raised, making her real butt show instead of the fake one SpongeBob created. It was going to be into her bra at first, but that just seems obscene and not comedic, and we try our best to make the nudity scenes have some comedy if they're not for the plot. Hope you enjoyed reading as always.
