(With Monokuma's words lingering back and forth in their minds, and the shadows creeping down their backs, the students ran and found their way to the dining area, safe from harm, But upon arriving, while catching their breath...)
Hiro: That… was a close one…
Sayaka: I don't… want another incident… like before… again...
Taka: Normally I don't condone running in the halls but… this was a special case…
Makoto: (It felt like we barely escaped with our lives, but even then we knew we weren't out of danger just yet…)
Makoto: ("You must kill someone if you want to leave." I remembered those words and my mind froze, my breath caught in my throat despite having to run so fast. With those words and that sight of darkness, I felt a paralyzing fear slowly crawl all over my body, dominating every last nerve…)
Makoto: (The air felt heavy as I looked at everyone else, seeing the same dread upon most of their faces having come so close to darkness. But for as heavy as the air felt… all it took to pierce it was her sharp words.)
(Having caught her breath, Kyoko quickly composed herself and addressed the others)
Kyoko: So? What are you going to do now? Just sit around glaring at each other?
Chihiro: I don't know, there were shadows and then this bear and it told us to… kill each other and…
Makoto: (She seems at a loss for words, I don't blame her)
Mondo: This shit is gettin' nuts, if she couldn't harm those things what chance do we have!?
Sakura: I've never seen such things before, to think they would be so tough…
Hina: Don't beat yourself up over it Sakura, those things aren't human. I'm not even sure they're…
Hina: …..
Byakuya: Well, speak up. If you have something to say, then don't stop yourself.
Hina: Not even sure they're… even from here.
Hiro: No, don't tell me they're really…
Hiro: ALIENS!?
Kyoko: Well whatever those things are, they're nothing we've ever seen before.
Hifumi: Wait, what did that bear say those were again?
Celeste: I believe he called them… Heartless.
Mondo: Well that sure fits 'em to a fuckin' T.
Sayaka: He seemed really scary when he said that, like he had this strange dark aura around him. Like they-
Kyoko: Like they were possessing him.
Junko: Wait, they… possessed him?
Kyoko: This is gonna sound strange, but something tells those "Heartless"...
Kyoko: Aren't here because of Monokuma.
Taka: You mean to tell me they came here by surprise to everything here!?
Kyoko: Considering how he seemed to act differently when mentioning those creatures-
Kyoko: I'd wager they aren't here to help with this "School Life".
Sayaka: I see… Heartless.
Leon: Well that settles it, we need to do something!
Celeste: And what do you suggest?
Leon: We find a way out of here, duh!
Junko: And we find out whoever's controlling the stupid bear and beat the hell out of 'em!
Byakuya: How do you propose we do that? Don't tell me you're considering working with everyone here?
Leon: Why wouldn't we?
Byakuya: May I remind you of what Monokuma said. If we want to escape, someone has to kill another person. For all we know, someone here may have already been thinking of it.
Byakuya: That's why you seized up back in the gym, isn't it?
Hiro: You mean, before the Heartless attacked or-
Byakuya: Of course I meant before, even now I'm sure someone here is getting an idea.
Byakuya: We cannot afford to let our guards down with each other, from here on we're just as much enemies as we are allies.
Byakuya: So no, I have no intention of working with simple-minded individuals like all of you.
Mondo: You seriously want to take a risk with those Heartless again?
Byakuya: Better them than you, at least they're easy to predict, although…
Byakuya: Someone like you would be much easier than some monsters, thugs like you couldn't be any more predictable if you tried.
Mondo: Wh- The fuck's that supposed to mean!?
Byakuya: Frankly, you're nothing more than a plankton. One insignificant plankton with no influence in the boundless ocean, afraid of even its own shadow.
Mondo: Alright that's it! I'm kicking your ass!
(Mondo got up and started walking towards Byakuya, Makoto quickly sat up in response)
Makoto: S-Stop it! We shouldn't fight!
(Mondo stops and turns around to Makoto, with an angered look on his face)
Mondo: Who do you think you are, talkin' to me like that? You think you're my fuckin' dad or something!?
(Visibly frightened, Makoto starts backing up as Mondo approaches him)
Makoto: N-No, I wasn't-!
Mondo: FUCK YOU!
(As Mondo swings his fist, Sayaka quickly jumps in between the men. Mondo manages to stop his punch just before hitting her)
Sayaka: Stop it! You shouldn't be taking your anger out on people like that!
Mondo: Get the hell out of my way or-!
Makoto: Mondo, snap out of it!
(Mondo regains his senses and realizes what he did)
Mondo: Whoa… Crap I didn't mean to-
Makoto: It's alright, really…
Byakuya: Hmph, predictable as I thought
Makoto: Do you seriously want to take a chance after that last encounter? You know they hurt you…
Byakuya: ! That doesn't mean anything!
Makoto: No that's wrong!
Byakuya: Huh?
Makoto: Like it or not, we'll be at risk of death together or apart as long as those things are here! Right now, we need to get out of here!
Makoto: You saw those things and what they could do, and that's just the smaller ones!
Sayaka: Smaller… ones?
Hifumi: Wait, I'm getting a flashback…
Hifumi: If I remember correctly, Mr. Naegi said there was also a larger Heartless, one that emerged from his shadow.
Kyoko: ….
Taka: The larger shadow! I completely forgot about it, didn't Makoto say it would-
Kyoko: Destroy the academy and kill everyone in it, yes.
(At that moment, everyone in the room became frightened. Knowing their end was coming, nobody knew what to do)
Leon: Well great, even if we don't kill each other, that thing's gonna come by and destroy this place!
Chihiro: So are we… living on borrowed time?
Byakuya: ….
(Byakuya simply looked at his arm remembering what had happened)
Hifumi: Well what can we do? The only means of fighting those things is that key Makoto wielded, and we don't know how to get it back!
Makoto: There has to be some way, I can't just-
(And like before, Makoto's head begins throbbing in pain as more images flashed through his mind)
Makoto: Gagh! My head!
Hina: Makoto!
Leon: Hey what's going on?
Makoto: I… don't know I- ACK!
Makoto: What the-
Junko: Is he- trying to remember something?
Chihiro: Makoto, stay calm!
Toko: Th-This isn't good, how is he s-supposed to protect us if he's like this!?
Kyoko: Makoto, calm yourself!
(Even with everyone raising their voices, it proved fruitless as the pain became so sharp Makoto soon lost consciousness…)
Sayaka: No Makoto! Don't go!
Mondo: Shit! Is he alright?
Chihiro: Wake up Makoto, please!
(The voices became weaker and weaker to his ears, as Makoto quickly drifted off into unconsciousness.)
Some time later…
Makoto: (Ugh, my head…)
Makoto: (What was that just now, did I… pass out)
(Makoto then opens his eyes and finds himself in some sort of room)
Makoto: Huh, what's this?
(He takes a look around, and quickly notices he's lying down on a bed)
Makoto: Is this….a dorm room?
Makoto: These must be where we're sleeping… Wait, what time is it?
(Makoto checks the clock in his room, only to find it's 7:00, several hours since he was passed out)
Makoto: Oh no, everyone!
(Makoto quickly heads to the door, but on his way out literally bumps into Sayaka, causing them both to fall down)
Sayaka: Ahh!
Makoto: Ow! Oh, S-Sayaka? S-Sorry! Are you okay?
Sayaka: I-I'm fine, really. I hope you're okay after that incident.
(Makoto and Sayaka quickly get back on their feet)
Makoto: Are you okay Sayaka? Are you hurt?
Sayaka: *giggles* You're making this out to be much worse than it actually is. Don't worry I'm fine, a little fall like that wouldn't hurt me that much.
Sayaka: I may not look it, but I've gained a bit of muscle from jumping up and down the stage a lot!
Makoto: That's good then…
Sayaka: But more importantly, are you okay? You looked like you were in so much pain back there.
Makoto: (I don't know what happened, is… something trying to reach out to me?)
Makoto: My head feels funny, but that aside I'm alright…
Makoto: But, what are you doing here?
Sayaka: I… came here to get you.
Makoto: Huh? Me?
Sayaka: I was hoping if you were feeling alright, you'd join me in the dining hall. Everyone else went their separate ways to investigate, they figured it would be easier.
Makoto: I hope they're alright…
Sayaka: Don't worry, it seems those Heartless subsided. We haven't seen them in a while.
Makoto: I see… Well then-
Makoto: Let's go, I'll be more than happy to come along!
Sayaka: Good! Let's go!
(Makoto and Sayaka walk together to the dining hall, upon arriving they find they're the first ones there)
Makoto: (Well, looks like we're the first ones here. I guess we should just wait here for now.)
Sayaka: Hmm… Okay, let's just wait here.
Makoto: Huh!? You heard that!?
Sayaka: Like I said before, I'm psychic.
Makoto: What?
Sayaka: Come on, I'm just kidding! Seriously, I just have really good intuition.
(They sat together at one of the tables and waited for what felt like hours, eventually Sayaka poked Makoto's cheek as if to indicate she had something to tell him)
Sayaka: Hey Makoto?
Makoto: Huh? What is it?
Sayaka: W-Well, it's just… I know this is kind of continuing the self-introduction thing, but I wanted to ask you something.
(Makoto remembered that Sayaka wanted to ask him something back when they were introducing themselves, though Taka interrupted them before they could discuss it)
Sayaka: We kinda got cut out before, but I wanted to ask you a question.
Makoto: What did you want to ask me?
Sayaka: Makoto… did you happen to go to Blackroot Junior High? Were you maybe… in Class 2?
Makoto: Y-Yeah, actually… I was.
Sayaka: I knew it! I went there, too! I was in Class 4, though. Do you remember me?
Makoto: Do I remember...?
Makoto: (Even back in middle school, she was a celebrity with all kinds of "ultimates" surrounding her. How could I forget? Almost as surprising as her question was... that she remembered me!)
Makoto: (We'd never talked to each other, but somehow she still knew who I was)
Makoto: ...
Sayaka: Hey, are you okay?
Makoto: Oh, yeah, I'm just surprised, is all. I wouldn't have thought you'd remember me.
Sayaka: We went to the same school for three years, of course I remember!
Makoto: Well, that's true. But there were lots of students in our grade, right? Plus, I've never been the type of person to ever really stand out.
Makoto: I'm average at everything, and all my hobbies are totally normal. Even "normal" would call me boring.
Sayaka: What are you talking about? You're so strange!
Makoto: S-Strange? That's-!
Sayaka: Hahaha!
Makoto: (She started giggling even louder. That somehow mysterious smile of hers made my heart grow calmer. Her smile was the nicest smile I'd ever seen...)
Sayaka: Anyways, I'm really glad... that I know somebody here.
Sayaka: Talking to you has made me feel a lot better about all this... You're amazing Makoto!
Makoto: N-No, I'm really not... I'm nothing at all compared to all you "ultimates".
Sayaka: But *you're* the one that helped me find my courage again, and you were the one who... came back for me, to save me...
Sayaka: Not any of these "ultimate" students, but you.
Makoto: Th-Thank you for saying that.
Sayaka: I owe it to you, so for everything you've done so far...
Sayaka: I've decided to become your Ultimate Assistant!
Makoto: Huh? My assistant?
Sayaka: Yup! I'm your assistant now! I'm going to help you out as much as I can, so let's get out of here and beat those Heartless!
Makoto: (When she says things like that, it... It just gets me pumped up!)
Makoto: Well, first things first, we need to find a way for me to get that key again. Without it, I'm not sure I'll be able to defend everyone before that giant Heartless arrives...
Sayaka: But how are we gonna do that?
Makoto: I don't know, but I get the feeling it won't be easy. It'll take a lot of hard work, some investigating... and a strong heart.
Sayaka: A strong heart...
(Both were left thinking on what they could do to find the key to fight the Heartless. But their train of thought was suddenly interrupted by Taka's arrival into the dining hall)
Taka: Ah, Makoto, Sayaka! So you two got here first, huh?
Taka: Too bad... I was sure I'd beat everyone here.
Taka: I guess that just means I don't have enough fighting spirit yet!
Taka: Well I won't give up! Next time, I swear I'll win no matter what it takes! Justice will always prevail!
Sayaka: That's a bit much, don't you think?
Makoto: Is everything alright, have the Heartless tried attacking again?
Taka: Negative! No signs of dark patches or yellow eyes, something tells me they're holding back. But why?
Makoto: I see, well I'm glad everyone's alright.
(Not long after Taka, the others started arriving at the dining hall, and after some time everyone was seated together)
Taka: Okay, it looks like everyone's here! Time to start the meeting, let's go around and share what we found during our respective investigations! The sooner we find out what's going on, the sooner we can get out of here.
Junko: Hold on, where's that silver-haired girl? What was her name... oh right Kyoko! She's not here.
(Just like Junko said, there was no sign of Kyoko in the room)
Taka: What!?
Hina: You're right, has anyone seen her?
Hiro: She did go out on her own to investigate, and I'm not sure anyone saw her...
Chihiro: Wait, so *nobody's* seen her?
Makoto: (Could it be because...?)
(Makoto gets flashbacks to the entrance ceremony, specifically Monokuma's announcement of murder in order to leave, and the Heartless attack that came not long after it)
Taka: Darn it Kyoko! You're late on the first day of school, and didn't tell anyone about it!? A most unbecoming personality trait...
Junko: You know, you're being a real jackass right now.
Taka: Well what do you want me to do!? Punctuality is everything!
Taka: Now then, I declare that the first session of the Hope's Peak Academy briefing meetings has begun!
(Sayaka scoots over to Makoto)
Sayaka: Best we hear what everyone has to say since I've already said so much.
Makoto: Sure, let's do that.
Sayaka: Hmhm. You know...
Makoto: Huh? What's up?
Sayaka: I feel like I really have become your personal assistant, don't you agree?
Sayaka: I may not be the best assistant in the world, but I'll give it everything I've got!
Makoto: (Don't worry about that Sayaka, you've already done so much as my assistant already)
(Thus their first meeting began, and each person/group explained what they investigated; Byakuya attempted to find out who put them there, but with no concrete discoveries. Taka explained everyone had their own dorm room, which were also soundproof and each had a private bathroom, though only the girls' rooms had locks)
(Junko, Leon, Hiro and Chihiro tried to find a way to remove the metal plates, but had no luck. Hina, Sakura and Mondo searched for a way to contact the outside world, but their efforts proved to be just as fruitless. Celeste, Toko and Hifumi only stayed in the gym the whole time, not getting any investigating done. Sayaka ended the briefing saying she found a fridge in the back of the kitchen overflowing with food, which gets restocked every day according to Monokuma, who came out of nowhere, told her that and disappeared)
Makoto: Okay, and is it true about the Heartless? No one's seen any of them?
Mondo: Not a damn thing since that scare in the gym.
Toko: I-Its honestly making me k-kinda anxious.
Hiro: I get what you're saying, it's like they-
Toko: I d-didn't need your opinion!
Hiro: Hey what was that for?
Celeste: Those things did make me worry, why are they even here?
Celeste: And if what Kyoko said is true, does Monokuma not really know they're here?
Hifumi: They almost took over the whole gym, I'd be surprised if he still didn't know after that!
Chihiro: A-And we still have that "Graduation Clause" to worry about.
Leon: Sheesh, with that and those Heartless around, we've really got our hands full.
Hifumi: Oh if only I had my hands full of my work right now, I could use some time to relieve myself.
Hina: C-Come on, man!
Leon: What the hell, fatty!? You're acting like some kind of sleazy drunk dude.
Hiro: Not like there's a good kind of drunk dude.
Junko: Hey! Stop screwing around, all of you! Are you still asleep or something? We're prisoners here! We could all just die any second!
Mondo: She's right. We can't be makin' stupid jokes right now. We gotta do something or-!
?: You're all spending an awful lot of time yelling and carrying on.
(The surprise voice caught everyone off guard, they looked to the entrance of the dining hall, and there stood Kyoko)
Kyoko: Do you really think you can afford to do so? Have none of you accepted the reality of the situation?
Hiro: Kind of hard to considering the crazy stuff going on. I couldn't even make it up if I tried!
Toko: L-Like your 'fortune telling'?
Hiro: Hey! My fortune telling isn't all made up!
Byakuya: May as well be considering the success rate.
Taka: Kyoko! You're late to the meeting, explain yourself!
(Kyoko remained silent as she put a map on the table)
Makoto: What's this?
Kyoko: It appears to be a map of Hope's Peak Academy.
Makoto: A map?
Taka: Where did you find it?
Kyoko: That's not important right now.
Taka: What do you mean it's not important!?
Junko: Never mind that. What's it mean?
Kyoko: Going by this map, this building is laid out exactly like Hope's Peak.
Makoto: So, this really is Hope's Peak Academy?
Kyoko: With a few renovations made to this building, yes it is. But when it comes to those renovations, I don't know all the details yet.
Chihiro: So, we didn't get kidnapped and sent somewhere else? This is the real Hope's Peak?
Mondo: How the hell is any of the country's future elite supposed to learn when they pull this crap on you!?
Hina: And where's all the other students then?
Hiro: And what's with those Heartless, this can't just be some test!
Hiro: I don't understand anything anymore!
Celeste: Hahaha! Well, it appears it was wise for us to investigate separately.
Toko: Wh-What do you mean? The investigation w-was a total waste of t-time! That fortune teller i-idiot is right, we don't know a-anything!
Hiro: Exactly- wait what!?
Celeste: Is it not crystal clear what is going on?
Celeste: We are imprisoned in a secret location, with no way out. Was that not obvious before?
Chihiro: T-Trapped?
Byakuya: Well, if you want to escape you could always just kill-
Hina: No way! Not happening!
Junko: Don't you even joke about that!
Sayaka: Guys, we should calm down! We need to think this through.
Leon: Y-Yeah, there's gotta be something we can do.
(Celeste paused for a second, before she smiled and said...)
Celeste: All we can do is adapt, by living our lives here from now on.
Hiro: Wait, we're just supposed to accept living here forever?
Celeste: A lack of adaptability... is a lack of survivability. Survival does not come down who is the strongest or the smartest, but whoever can adapt quickest.
Celeste: With that in mind, I have a suggestion.
Mondo: What kind of suggestion?
Celeste: Since we are trapped here, that means we will be spending the night here. Does everyone recall the rule regarding nighttime?
(It was at that moment, Makoto came to a sudden realization)
Makoto: OH NO!
Taka: Gah! What is it Makoto?
Makoto: I... forgot to read the rules in all the panic.
Byakuya: Getting relaxed already? That kind of behavior is easy pickings for someone to try and graduate...
Sayaka: Hey go easy on him! He passed out!
Taka: Oh right, we all discussed the rules after he went unconscious. Pull up your e-Handbook Makoto, they'll be right there.
(Makoto did just that, as it turned on the e-Handbook flashed his name and he looked through the rules Monokuma laid out...)
(Rule 1: Students may reside only within the school. Leaving campus is an unacceptable use of time.)
(Rule 2: "Nighttime" is from 10 pm to 7 am. Some areas are off-limits at night, so please exercise caution)
(Rule 3: Sleeping anywhere other than the dormitory will be seen as sleeping in class and punished accordingly)
(Rule 4: With minimal restrictions, you are free to explore Hope's Peak Academy at your discretion)
(Rule 5: Violence against headmaster Monokuma is strictly prohibited, as is destruction of surveillance cameras)
(Rule 6: Anyone who kills a fellow student and becomes "blackened" will graduate, unless they are discovered)
(Rule 7: Additional school regulations may be added if necessary)
(The "discovered" part of Rule 6 aside, Makoto understood the rules)
Makoto: So, you're asking about the nighttime rules, right?
Celeste: Correct, glad to see you're all caught up already.
Makoto: Uh... thanks?
Celeste: I propose going out at nighttime should be prohibited, since the school rules do not make it official, I would like to do so.
Toko: B-But why?
Celeste: The way things are now, every night we will get anxious and worried…
Celeste: We will be afraid someone will try to kill us at night.
Sayaka: What?
Celeste: The worries will start getting to us, and will begin to wear us down if we are not careful.
Sakura: So you're suggesting we limit nighttime activities as a preventative measure.
Junko: I see what you mean. But… I think I can agree with that. It's just like the gothic lolita said. Without something like that, we're just gonna self-destruct.
Taka: On behalf of all the men here, I agree to comply!
Leon: Don't just speak for us!
Makoto: It's probably for the best, we… we know what's out there in the darkness.
(And upon realizing what Makoto meant, everyone knew it was probably for the best)
Celeste: Oh right, the Heartless…
Celeste: To be honest, they slipped my mind when I suggested that.
Hiro: How can they slip your mind after their attack!?
Byakuya: We didn't ask for your thoughts on the matter, so keep quiet.
Hiro: ….
Makoto: Until I can get ahold of that key again, we should probably try to avoid the darkness as much as we can.
Makoto: Besides, we don't know how many of them are there… or what they're planning if anything.
Kyoko: My thoughts exactly.
Celeste: Well, glad to see we're all in agreement. Now if you excuse me.
Chihiro: Wait, where are you going?
(While Celeste was talking, Makoto heard something strange)
Makoto: Guys…
Toko: Wh-What is it?
Makoto: There's something watching us…
Hiro: Huh?
Mondo: Don't be fuckin' stupid, it's probably just your imagina-
?: I've come to see the door to this world.
(Everyone immediately froze up upon hearing those words)
Taka: Huh? Who said that?
Sayaka: I don't know, it wasn't anyone here!
Makoto: And it...wasn't the voice from my dream either.
?: This world has been connected.
Hifumi: C-C-Connected?
?: Tied to the darkness…
?: ...Soon to be completely eclipsed.
Mondo: Who the hell is saying that!?
Hina: I don't know! Maybe it's Monokuma messing with us again?
Hiro: The hell it is, it's the Heartless! They're here!
Sayaka: WHERE!?
(Sayaka immediately latched onto Makoto's arm for protection, everyone tried looking around, and in doing so, Toko noticed something in the corner of her eye…)
Toko: Huh?
(At the entrance to the hallway, she noticed a brown-hooded figure peeking out of the corner)
Toko: G-Guys… Who's that?
(Everyone turned and spotted the figure)
Hiro: AAAAAHHHH!
Chihiro: Where did you come from?
?: You do not yet know what lies beyond the door.
Hina: Are you from… the outside?
Kyoko: Or perhaps… from another world?
Hiro: IT'S ALIENS! I KNEW IT!
Byakuya: Keep quiet!
?: There is so very much to learn, you understand so little.
Makoto: Oh yeah, you'll see! W-We'll find our way out of here, no one's going to die on my watch! I'll make sure everyone here escapes!
(Everyone seemed surprised at Makoto's sudden proclamation, even Kyoko and Byakuya. But the hooded figure seemed unimpressed…)
?: A meaningless effort. Ones who know nothing can understand nothing.
(Seeming content, the figure began walking past the corner…)
Mondo: Oh no you don't! You have things to answer for!
(Mondo chased after the figure; the others shortly behind him. But just as it disappeared from sight and they arrived at the hallway, they found nothing there.)
Chihiro: Huh? He's… gone?
Hiro: I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON ANYMORE!
Mondo: Snap the hell out if you idiot!
Sayaka: Wh-What did it mean by this world being tied to darkness?
Celeste: It's as if… it was a warning…
Taka: Who… was that?
(Visibly frightened and on edge due to what transpired before them, everyone decided to call it a night and go to sleep. Though Makoto had issues with his bathroom door, Monokuma suddenly popped up and explained the frame was too small and gave Makoto a nifty hint to open it, at the expense of mocking his talent. Frustrated, Makoto then prepared for bed, but suddenly…)
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*
Makoto: Huh?
(Makoto opened the door, only to find his assistant behind it)
Sayaka: Hey Makoto?
Makoto: Sayaka? What's going on?
Sayaka: I'm… having trouble sleeping. I know it's a lot to ask but…
(Sayaka started blushing and fidgeting her fingers, but eventually came out and asked)
Sayaka: C-Can I…. spend the night here?
Makoto: Huh?
Sayaka: P-Please?
Makoto: Why here, with me?
Sayaka: It's just… well…
Sayaka: The heartless have me on edge ever since we saw them, and I'm a bit scared to be by myself.
Sayaka: I mean, you know what happened before, right?
(Flashback)
Hifumi: RUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!
(Everyone quickly started running, however Sayaka was so paralyzed with fear she couldn't move a muscle and just stared at the Heartless coming from the darkness. Makoto quickly noticed and called out to her)
Makoto: Sayaka!
(Still shaken, the Heartless drew closer and closer, Sayaka then suddenly started walking back until the wall stopped her course. With nowhere to run, the Heartless jumped towards her and she closed her eyes. But then she felt nothing but a breeze blowing by her face, she opened her eyes to find that Makoto had picked her up and was running as fast as he could)
Sayaka: Makoto?

(When he wasn't looking, Sayaka blushed so hard you could swear heat was coming out of her cheeks. She simply rested her head against his chest as he caught up with the others)
Chihiro: Are you okay Sayaka?
Sayaka: I'm fine, thanks for coming back for me Makoto.
Makoto: No worries!
(They eventually found the gym, and reunited with the others)
(Flashback end)
Sayaka: If you didn't come back for me, I wouldn't be standing here right now.
Sayaka: Until those things are gone I… I'd feel safer if you were closeby.
Makoto: Huh, well you see… I mean it's… what I'm trying to say is…
(Visibly flustered at Sayaka's request, Makoto decided to let her stay for the night)
Makoto: Okay, but let's be professional about this.
Sayaka: Sure.
(Sayaka entered the room and Makoto quickly went to bed. As he fell asleep, Sayaka decided to hop in with him, without him knowing)
Sayaka: It means so much to know you care about me Makoto, thank you.
(And then proceeded to kiss his cheek)
Sayaka: Goodnight… my hero.
(And then Sayaka began to fall asleep, feeling comfortable that she was in good hands…)
