A few things are gonna be out of order as this doesn't follow the original KH story to a T, but here it is, the Night of Fate where their world disappears from existence! I'll be trying a few new things with this chapter and the next few, so I hope they work out alright. Anyways, back to the madness!
(While everyone else was panicking due to Monokuma's apparent anger, Makoto remained unconscious. But unknown to them, much like before, his mind was being transported somewhere else)
(Makoto suddenly awoke, but he wasn't at Hope's Peak… He found himself in a room, illuminated by stars, though they looked more like the symbol instead of ones found in the sky. The only other thing in the room, was this strange door with a yellow glow)
Makoto: Huh? This isn't… like that last dream.
Makoto: *gasp* Wait! Where is everyone!?
Makoto: Sayaka! Hiro! Taka! Kyoko!
Makoto: ANYONE!?
(Though he shouted at the top of his lungs, there was no reply)
Makoto: Is it… already too late?
Makoto: No, I can't give up hope now!
(Seeing no other option, Makoto went through the door. But on the other side lied a staircase leading up to another door)
Makoto: Whoa…
(Admitabbly amazed, Makoto went up the stairs and took in the sights as he climbed higher)
Makoto: (What kind of place is this? It feels so… magical)
(He reached the door after a while, but upon opening it, he entered a room at the top of a tower. With oddly shaped windows, shelves containing plenty of books, and at the center laid a large green throne and a desk, and sitting there was what looked like an old man with a large grey beard donning a wizard's hat and cloak, and appeared as if he was in thought)
Makoto: Huh?
(The man's eyes opened, his look being rather stern and judgemental, and noticed Makoto right away)
Makoto: Oh! I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to-
(The old man gestures his hands as if to calm Makoto down, then began to speak…)
?: Makoto Naegi, it is about time we met.
Makoto: Huh? How did you-
Makoto: Wait… your voice. I've heard it somewhere before.
?: Yes, I remember quite clearly. It was certainly a close brush with the darkness…
Makoto: That *was* you? But… why?
?: Before that, if you allow me to introduce myself.
Makoto: Oh, sorry…
?: Do not worry yourself, I am sure you have plenty of questions.
Yen Sid: I am Yen Sid.
Makoto: Yen Sid?
Makoto: Well for starters, why am I here?
Yen Sid: There is very little time for your world, it was best we discussed this before tragedy struck.
Makoto: My… world? *gasp*
Makoto: Oh no! I can't let those things hurt everyone!
Yen Sid: Settle down Makoto, you must keep a clear head.
Yen Sid: It will be the only way for you to save those you hold dear.
Makoto: R-Right, sorry.
Makoto: But, what's going on? What's… happening to me?
Yen Sid: Makoto Naegi, chosen wielder of the Keyblade…
Yen Sid: You are the key that will open the door to light.
Makoto: Key...blade?
Makoto: (So that's what that key is…)
Makoto: But...why me?
Yen Sid: You hold in your heart a powerful and strong light, one that shines even in the face of adversity of all kinds.
Yen Sid: A terrible tragedy awaits not only your world, but countless others. And the light requires a champion to face the ever-growing threat.
Makoto: And it chose… me?
Yen Sid: Yes. Though I'm sure you would've preferred it sooner, am I wrong?
Makoto: Heh heh, you saw all that didn't you?
Yen Sid: If anything, your attempts assured that you were the rightful choice.
Yen Sid: You and your friends never gave up, even now as the darkness forces its way into their hearts, you stand as a beacon of hope.
Makoto: Right…
Yen Sid: The visions that have protruded your mind. They are no mere tricks, they are the memories the darkness has locked away.
Makoto: Locked away? Like, I was forced to forget them…
(Yen Sid nods)
Yen Sid: Undoing the chains surrounding your memory, as well as others, will be a difficult undertaking. A path that you are not yet ready to follow, but one that you will arrive at soon.
Makoto: But… What if they keep showing up? I don't know if I can handle the pain like this for much longer...
Yen Sid: Do not be afraid, they will do you no harm anymore. I have made sure of it.
Makoto: Well… okay. But what is this Keyblade?
(Makoto tries to summon it, and surprisingly it actually works, and catches him off guard)
Makoto: Whoa! It finally worked!
Yen Sid: The keyblade is a powerful weapon, capable of harming creatures of darkness. A tool used by many warriors, but one only few can ever master.
Yen Sid: With it, one such as yourself can fight the darkness, and the Heartless.
Makoto: The Heartless. Just what are they?
Yen Sid: The Heartless are physical manifestations of the darkness that lies within people's heart, no matter how miniscule it may be.
Yen Sid: They draw themselves to those beings, so it may consume their heart and grow in power.
Yen Sid: Very few weaponry can damage the Heartless, those attuned such as the Keyblade hold the power to vanquish them, and seal the keyhole.
Makoto: Keyhole?
Yen Sid: Within the heart of every world, lies the keyhole. Upon entry through the keyhole, the Heartless begin to consume all that lie within it, before plunging the world into darkness.
Yen Sid: The keyblade allows the user to seal that doorway to the heart, and prevent the Heartless from consuming the world.
Yen Sid: Though it pains me to say it, I am afraid your world is not so lucky…
Makoto: Wait, does that mean they're gonna-
Yen Sid: Yes, your world was already wrought with chaos and despair, creating a breeding ground of darkness.
Yen Sid: The Heartless simply could not resist…
Makoto: Then, what's going to happen to me… and my family… and my-
Makoto: My friends…?
Makoto: I… I promised them I wouldn't let them kill them!
Yen Sid: Do not worry, you are already on the path towards their survival.
Makoto: !
Yen Sid: But if you wish to ensure their safety, there are two things you must know…
Makoto: What is it?
Yen Sid: The Heartless that you shall face during your world's destruction..
Makoto: The large one?
Yen Sid: Yes, you must face it alone.
Yen Sid: The others will be at risk should any of them face it now, as it was your shadow, you must show to them you are willing to face the darkness, regardless of the form it takes.
Makoto: ….Okay, I'll make sure they're safe, but what's the other thing?
Yen Sid: When the darkness envelops your world, all involved in your current predicament will be scattered to the furthest corners of the cosmos.
Makoto: What!?
Yen Sid: But do not be afraid, as long as your hearts remain connected, you will all return to each other once again.
Yen Sid: However, not all will be able to return once your world has been restored.
Makoto: Not… everyone?
Yen Sid: There is one whose heart is wrenched in despair and darkness, beyond any hope of redemption for the light. A kind very few in nature…
Yen Sid: But who that is, I do not know.
Yen Sid: When the time comes Makoto Naegi, you must make a difficult decision, to end the cycle and ensure the safety of your world, and those close to you.
(Makoto figured he was referring to the mastermind who controlled Monokuma and organized the killing game)
Makoto: But… can I really do this?
Yen Sid: Hmm?
Makoto: I mean, I didn't get into Hope's Peak because of any special talent, just by luck. I'm ordinary all around…
Makoto: Do I… really have what it takes to save everyone and… every world?
Yen Sid: Doubt weighs heavily upon your shoulders, but you must lift that doubt if you are to reach your true potential.
Yen Sid: You are the light that shall shine against the darkness, the beacon of hope to those with dread and despair in their hearts.
Yen Sid: You have already seen for yourself, have you not?
(Makoto then thought back to the Heartless' attack at the A/V Room, how everyone was pleading for his help. And how everyone thanked him for saving them afterwards. Deep down in his heart, Makoto knew Yen Sid was correct…)
Makoto: I… made a promise.
Makoto: And I… intend to keep it!
(Makoto then knelt down as a sign of respect)
Makoto: I swear, no matter what happens…
Makoto: I won't give in to the darkness, I won't give in to despair!
Makoto: And I will make sure the Heartless will never touch another world again!
(Yen Sid smiled lightly, as if he understood)
Yen Sid: Very well, warrior of the keyblade, champion of the light…
Yen Sid: The Heartless await, but be forewarned.
Yen Sid: As the chosen wielder of the Keyblade, the Heartless will be drawn to you and your companions as you take this journey.
Yen Sid: But never lose sight of the hope in your heart.
Makoto: I won't, thank you… Master Yen Sid.
Yen Sid: Be on your way, the night of fate approaches.
(Makoto stands and leaves the room, after he leaves, he begins talking like he's narrating...)
Yen Sid: Stand strong chosen wielder of the Keyblade, you bear the future of the battle between light and darkness…
(Yen Sid continues narrating as the scene transitions back to Makoto walking down the stairs…)
Yen Sid: For it will be your light that shall give birth…
Yen Sid: To a new generation of Keyblade warriors.
(The narration ends as Makoto opens the door, and a bright light envelops him…)
(Meanwhile, back at Hope's Peak…)
Hiro: How long do you think he's gonna be out?
Taka: Let's hope it won't be for long, we don't know if that barrier is gonna stay.
Toko: D-Don't jinx it!
(Sadly, it was jinxed as the barrier appeared before suddenly vanishing)
Toko: Y-You just had to open your b-big fat mouth!
Hina: Oh no!
Mondo: Everyone get back!
(Slowly the door creaked open, and in walked Monokuma, his red eye glaring to indicate he's had it with them)
Monokuma: You know, I thought we could all just do this the right way…
(He then slowly walks over to them, stomping his feet with every step)
Monokuma: You just had to follow the rules, and we could've all had a despairful time…
(Many began shivering at fear as Monokuma came closer, even those who stepped up to defend everyone carried a sense of dread in their hearts)
Monokuma: But I've had it, shadows, Heartless, keys, to hell with it all…
Monokuma: If you aren't gonna play by the rules…
Monokuma/Junko: Then it's time for your EXECUTIONS!
(With his claws out and his teeth bare, Monokuma leapt out at the group, But then a sudden flash of light filled the room, and as they regain their vision they found Monokuma up against the wall again, and Makoto standing in front of all of them)
Monokuma: WHAT!? You were supposed to be dead!
Makoto: Far from it, I was just visiting.
Kyoko: Visiting?
Makoto: I know everything Monokuma, I know what you've done!
(From her viewing room, Junko's eyes suddenly widened at Makoto's proclamation. How could he have found out?)
Junko: No… No!
Junko: That just isn't possible!
Makoto: As long as I carry the light within my heart…
(He holds out his hand and summons his Keyblade)
Makoto: Hope will always live on!
Sayaka: Wow…
Hiro: Kick his butt Makoto!
Chihiro: You can do it!
Monokuma: Grrrrrrr…. Fine, then you go first!
(He leaps towards Makoto, but he blocks him with his Keyblade. No matter how hard he pushed, Makoto stood his ground and refused to budge. He was only met with Makoto's fist, which sent the bear skywards)
Makoto: Take this!
(He jumps into the air and lands several swipes on the bear before sending him crashing to the ground)
Hifumi: Where did he learn those moves?
Celeste: This….defies all explanation! What could have possibly happened?
(Though damaged, Monokuma wasn't out yet as he slowly gets up after Makoto lands)
Monokuma: Well, I didn't take you for an impressive fighter. Perhaps I underestimated you…
Monokuma: But that just means I don't have to hold back!
(Before Makoto could react, Monokuma quickly dashes behind him and begins dealing a few blows of his own. Normally they would've slashed Makoto to ribbons, but surprisingly no cuts, just bruises from being knocked back)
Monokuma: What? How are you in one piece!?
(In place of a response, Makoto quickly closes the gap between them, but Monokuma reacts and they continuously trade blows in a spectacle of flurry that just left the others awestruck)
Makoto: You can't win Monokuma! I won't let you hurt them!
(Junko was simply watching and getting even more frustrated, she had enough playing around)
Junko: Okay key boy, try this!
(At the push of a button, Monokuma suddenly gains a rocket launcher. But sadly it did nothing but break the wall behind him as Makoto dodged in time, creating a hole to the hallway. Leaving everyone awestruck...)
Monokuma: Huh? Where did you go?
(Makoto popped up behind him…)
Makoto: Right here!
(And sent the bear flying out of the room and into the hallway with a single swipe)
Monokuma: Aaaaaaaaa!
*CRASH!*
(He was sent flying into the wall, and quickly got his head out. Makoto jumped out of the hole separating his room from the hallway and was ready to confront him again)
Monokuma: Grrr, you're starting to get on my last nerves Mr. Naegi!
Monokuma: May I remind you violence against the Headmaster is strictly prohibited!?
Makoto: And what, do you expect me to just let you kill everyone!?
Makoto: That's not how this is gonna work!
Monokuma: Oh it *is* you brat! And if I have to walk through your bloody corpse just to do it...
(Monokuma suddenly spawns many, MANY guns. More than he could count, he's had it up to here with Makoto)
Monokuma/Junko: THEN I WILL!
(Monokuma screamed as he fired his guns, rockets flying everywhere. Knowing he needed more space, Makoto quickly ran while Monokuma pursued him. Not wanting to stay in the dark so to speak, the others followed behind them till they reached the dining area, where Makoto was still dodging Monokuma's firepower)
Monokuma: STAY STILL AND DIE ALREADY!
(He may have been worried, but Makoto kept the light in his heart as he continued to run, feeling like he was walking on air. He didn't even notice he'd begun to run on the walls)
Mondo: Holy crap! How's he doing that!?
Byakuya: This just isn't possible!
"Junko": No fucking way…
(Mukuro could sense it, the anger coming from Monokuma, and by extension her sister. She'd never seen Junko this angry, so determined, so willing to throw so much into killing one person…)
Makoto: HRAGH!
(He leaps from the wall with his keyblade held high and slams it down on Monokuma, destroying his weapons and causing severe damage, soon Monokuma began sparking)
Monokuma: Gugh…. No way. How could a scrawny, brainless, pathetic, everyday kid like you defeat me!? The master of this world!
Makoto: Master? You?
Makoto: You have to be joking.
(Junko's eyes lit up as the dark aura from before returned. She was in control of everything, she was their superior, she was about to bring despair down on everyone, and he was talking down to her!?)
Junko: DIE!
(With one furious scream, Monokuma charged towards Makoto, who held his key in front of him with his eyes closed. And in the blink of an eye, Makoto opened his eyes, swiped his Keyblade and appeared on the opposite side of the mechanical beast, before both stopped in their tracks)
Toko: Whoa…
Sayaka: So cool…
Sakura: Remarkable…
Taka: Holy crap…
(Soon after both stopped, Monokuma started malfunctioning, sparks flying from his body as he began to scream. And soon after…)
*BOOM!*
(Monokuma was no more, and the Keyblade disappears from Makoto's hands)
Makoto: There, that should do it…
(Everyone was left speechless, meanwhile back in the control room, Junko was furiously slamming the controls. How could he win?)
Junko: NO! FUCKING! WAY! How the fuck did that little vegetarian piece of crap WIN!?
(As if to hold her anger at bay, Junko did some deep breathing exercises to calm herself)
Junko: It's alright, it's alright, I just need to summon another and…
(Suddenly the power went out in the control room)
Junko: What?
(And that lack of power soon spread throughout the academy. Leaving everyone shocked…)
Hina: Oh no! What happened to the power!?
Hiro: Power's out, then that means…
(And right on cue, the Heartless)
Leon: THEY'RE BACK!
(Fortunately, Makoto got his Keyblade out once again and stood in front of everyone. Meanwhile back with Junko...)
Junko: That's impossible! How could I run out of power!? This place should have plenty of…
(However, she would never find out the answer, as she could hear something behind her)
Junko: Huh? Wh-Who's there?
(And there were the Heartless, accompanied by darkness that began to fill the room)
Junko: No way, you're real! You're really fucking real!
Junko: No! Stay back! STAY BACK!
(But what happened to her in there, no one knows, all that was heard, was an ear-piercing scream)
(Meanwhile, back with the others, Makoto was fighting off the Heartless. After dealing with them...)
Makoto: Everyone, you have to come with me! And listen to what I'm about to tell you! It's the only way we'll get out of this alive!
Kyoko: Are you sure?
Makoto: You have to trust me!
Sayaka: What do we need to do!?
Makoto: We need to head outside, follow me!
(Whilst fighting off the Heartless, Makoto led the group back to the main hall, where the large metal door stood. It took some time, but Makoto had to make several return trips from the main hall to the dining area to ensure everyone made it in one piece)
Mondo: What now genius!?
Makoto: Stand back…
(Makoto held his keyblade out in front of him, and from the tip launched a beam of light towards the door. And once it finished, the door began to open…)
Makoto: Everyone stay close! No one gets left behind!
Chihiro: Whoa…
Hina: You heard him! Everyone stay together!
(The door opened, and everyone walked out, and the sight they witnessed was worse than anything they could've imagined…)
Makoto: It was just as bad as I thought it'd be…
Hiro: OH MY GOD!
(The world around them seemed nonexistent, the sky was dark purplish-grey, a large orb hovered high above them. But worse was the academy, now destroyed and in ruins, and the ground they stood on hovering and attached to nothing)
Hifumi: What happened here!?
Makoto: It's the Heartless…
Kyoko: The Heartless?
Makoto: They're devouring this entire world, it's gone too far for me to stop it!
Hina: What!?
Leon: We're all gonna die!
Makoto: No listen! We'll be fine! I was told we were going to get transported somewhere else, we'll be safe.
"Junko": Who the hell told you this!?
Makoto: Someone who informed me of everything I need to know, about me, my purpose…
Makoto: And this…
(He brings out his Keyblade yet again)
Makoto: The Keyblade, a weapon to destroy the Heartless.
Byakuya: Key...blade?
Hiro: So that's what it is?
Makoto: I'm sorry I can't stop all this…
Makoto: But I promise, I'll come find you, all of you!
Makoto: I'll stop them from destroying anymore worlds! And I'll bring this place back…
Makoto: And everyone in it!
(Suddenly, an old friend of his rose from the ground over the academy…)
Chihiro: I-It's back again!
Makoto: Everyone please, stay down and don't interfere. It's the only way I can assure you'll stay alive!
Hiro: You don't have to tell me twice!
Sayaka: Stay safe Makoto!
Mondo: Kick it's ass!
(Everyone immediately got somewhere safe as they watched Makoto, prepared to do battle with his shadow, once again…)
Prologue: Main Boss Battle
Darkside
Track: Destiny's Force
Makoto: I have a promise to keep to everyone here…
Makoto: And I intend to keep it!
(He charges forth, Keyblade in hand, and clashes with the giant shadow once more. Like before, he first begins striking at the hands. Enough clashes make the Heartless flinch back as if in pain)
Mondo: Dude's gotta have some serious balls if he's facing that thing himself.
Sayaka: I know he can do it, he has to!
Sakura: Considering our lives are at stake should he fail, I can only hope he succeeds.
(As everyone continues watching, Darkside slams it's fist into the ground, forming a dark pool that summons more smaller Heartless. Makoto takes the time to deal with them before going back to facing the giant once more)
Makoto: I have to get up to the head, here goes!
(Makoto jumps onto Darkside's arm and travels along its body until he reaches the head to give a good combo to. He wasn't able to deal much more damage as the Heartless flinched back again)
(This time, it kneels down and begins firing dark missiles which begin to home in on Makoto, while he is able to block some of them, some manage to hit their mark, and send Makoto flying off the edge. Fortunately he's able to grab on before falling off)
Sayaka: Makoto!
Leon: Don't interfere, you'll get yourself killed!
(Though he struggled, he eventually was able to leap back up again. While Darkside had its guard down, Makoto was able to land some more strikes to its hands. Eventually it reached into the ground and pulled out a large orb of dark energy)
Chihiro: Wh-What's it gonna do with that?
Celeste: I get the feeling we should cover our heads.
(The orb dissipates and soon smaller orbs begin falling from the sky, causing Makoto to work on dodging as well as attacking. The fight goes on a bit longer with Darkside continuing the same attacks while Makoto deals strikes to its hands and occasionally its head. Eventually, Makoto had enough…)
Makoto: I won't give up! Not to the darkness, and not to you! This ends here!
(With all his strength, Makoto leapt up towards Darkside's head and struck, toppling the large Heartless over. Once that was done, Makoto ran up to the monster's head, jumped as high as his legs could take him, and aimed his Keyblade down towards the beast as he began coming back down to Earth)
(The Keyblade struck Darkside square in its head, causing massive damage and finishing it off for good. Defeated, Darkside's entire body was eventually dragged up by the large ball of darkness high above the academy. Makoto's Keyblade disappeared, knowing the battle was finally won)
Makoto: *huff* *puff* It's done…
Makoto: Okay guys, it's safe...er.
(Everyone immediately runs out of hiding, Sayaka quickly running up to Makoto and giving him a big hug)
Sayaka: Thank you! My hero!
(Followed by another kiss to his cheek, causing him to blush)
Hiro: I see someone has a fan already.
Makoto: Hiro!
Hina: So is it true? Are we gonna be okay?
Makoto: Yeah, but like I said, that's all I'm able to do.
Chihiro: So, what happens now?
(Suddenly, the ground beneath them started shaking, and soon they noticed they were getting closer to the large dark orb hovering in the sky)
Leon: Uh guys, is that thing coming down on us?
"Junko": I think we're actually getting closer to it!
Kyoko: Well, I guess this is it.
Kyoko: But if what Makoto said is true, we'll all meet here again.
Hifumi: I get the feeling it won't be as simple as that Miss Kirigiri.
Makoto: Yeah, but I made a promise to everyone… And I intend to keep it!
(Everyone simply stared up in silence as the ground rose closer to the orb. But unbeknownst to them, Byakuya and Mukuro weren't feeling as grateful as the others…)
Mukuro: (I can't believe this, he… ruined everything. Junko must be beside herself, she wanted to spread despair and was denied it)
Mukuro: (Makoto, I can't believe this.. How… COULD YOU!?)
Byakuya: (They insulted me for having everything just given to me, but how is this any different?)
Byakuya: (Everything just happened for him, and they're immediately fine listening to him. He never had to work to where he got, he got there by pure dumb luck!)
Byakuya: (And I… will NEVER ACCEPT THIS! That Keyblade should be mine!)
(Unknown to everyone else, as Mukuro and Byakuya thought these thoughts, a dark aura protruded from their bodies. However no one was able to notice them, as soon enough, everything turned black as the ground reached the orb, swallowing the last bit of their world into darkness…)
(Meanwhile, Junko Enoshima had already been transported somewhere else. She opened her eyes and found herself in some sort of weird, mechanical-looking room with a heart shaped opening behind her. Pipes and cables of all shapes and sizes were going into it, and opposite it laid a grand hall with large torches and mysterious capsules in the walls.)
Junko: What the hell? What's going on here?
(Suddenly, more Heartless appeared and surrounded her. She started getting worried again as they came closer to her, but suddenly…)
?: Enough!
(At the sound of what seemed to be a woman's voice, the Heartless started backing off and disappeared. Suddenly, she saw someone walking up to her: a green-skinned woman with yellow eyes, black horns atop her head, wearing a long, tattered black robe that reached the floor and holding a staff with a green orb atop it)
Junko: Wh-Who the fuck are you?
?: I suggest you cease that vulgar tongue of yours if you wish to last.
Junko: You think I give a shit!? Everything I've worked for the last few years has been sent to who knows where, and I'm sent to some unknown dimension or whatever!
Junko: I had it all planned out, and it's ruined!
?: Hmm? What are you talking about?
Junko: Why do you care?
?: It seems like you're frustrated… angry… at someone. But who?
Junko: Just some little brat with a key.
?: What!?
Junko: Huh? I just said some brat with a key.
?: No, it can't be! The Keyblade has a wielder?
Junko: Keyblade? Well, yeah, it does.
?: Tell me everything you know, now!
Junko: Fine, but... on one condition!
?: Grrr, what is it?
Junko: I need help in destroying that brat for ruining everything!
(The mysterious woman widened her eyes in shock, then chuckled)
?: My dear, I would've done so even if you didn't ask.
Junko: Wait, really?
?: The Heartless may have taken your world, but in due time you'll have much more…
Junko: Who.. are you?
Maleficent: You may call me… Maleficent.
Junko: Nice name, I'm Junko Enoshima, Ultimate Despair in every way.
Maleficent: Despair? Hmm…
Maleficent: You may be valuable to our cause yet…
Maleficent: So, tell me about this "brat with a key".
(As they walked down the stair to the hall, Junko told Maleficent everything, about her plan, about what she had done, and how it all went wrong)
(Cue Villains of a Sort)
Maleficent: I must say my dear, you are positively diabolical.
Junko: Thanks, I try sometimes.
Maleficent: But I'm rather curious, why wait so long to end them?
Junko: It was all for despair…
Junko: Seeing the people, the classmates I spent so long with, all driven into a corner, forced to kill each other just to survive and escape.
Junko: *sigh* It fills me with ecstasy!
Maleficent: Is this all for you?
Junko: Exactly, despair is pretty much all I can feel at this point. Truth be told, Ultimate Despair is just the title for me and my flat-chested sister. My real talent, the one they picked me up for, I was the Ultimate Fashionista.
Junko: But even *that* was a lie, I'm really the Ultimate Analyst.
Maleficent: Quite the web of lies and deceit you've strung, all this to ensure no one knew.
Junko: Yep! One thing led to another, and then another, and then came the Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History! The Tragedy, where the whole world fell into despair!
Junko: And it all started in Hope's Peak, a place where hope was born and nurtured. Blegh, I get sick just thinking about it, that's why it all had to start there.
Maleficent: And you feel nothing for those you wanted dead so much?
Junko: Nope, I really loved them, I did.
(Junko looked at Maleficent, a crazed look in her eyes)
Junko: But that made revelling in the despair of their deaths all the more pleasing…
(Normally a person would be freaked out, Maleficent… simply laughed)
Maleficent: There is much potential in you Junko Enoshima, darkness lies at the foot of your despair. All that you must do now…
Maleficent: Is learnt to wield it, to control the Heartless!
Junko: You mean those little shadows, that can't be all of them.
Maleficent: Far from it…
(Maleficent raised her arms skyward, and at her beck and call Heartless of all shapes, sizes, powers and etc arrived)
Junko: Whoa…
Maleficent: As you can see, the Heartless are drawn to those who wield the darkness such as myself.
Maleficent: Lend me your despair, and together, we shall conquer all worlds!
Junko: All worlds!? What do you have planned? Tell me everything!
Maleficent: Patience child, you will know in due time.
Maleficent: But, if you wish for this "killing game" to continue…
Maleficent: Then it would be in our best interests to cooperate for the time being.
Junko: Nuh uh, it doesn't work like that with me sweetie.
Junko: Tell me what you have planned, because I may have a little something that can help…
Maleficent: Oh? Do tell.
Junko: I asked you first~ Heh heh!
Maleficent: Well played my dear, very well then. Do you see the large structure behind you?
(Maleficent turns her attention to the large heart shaped hole behind them)
Junko: You mean that thing? What's it about?
Maleficent: That, is the keyhole to this world. Unlocking it will grant the powers of darkness, power beyond your imagination.
Maleficent: To unlock it, we require the Seven Princesses of Heart.
Junko: Princesses?
Maleficent: Maidens with pure hearts, their power is the only thing that can unlock the keyhole, and the power that lies beyond it...
Maleficent: ...Kingdom Hearts!
Junko: And what's in it for me?
Maleficent: Your deepest desires my dear, the despair you have longed for, without end. Every despair, different from the last!
Junko: *chuckles* Now *that's* what I'm talking about! Okay, Maleficent, you have a deal.
(The two shake hands to signify their dark partnership…)
Junko: But two things, one I'm gonna need a place to work. There's a little something I need to get back to producing, but it'll be a HUGE help in our mission.
Maleficent: That can be arranged.
Junko: And the other thing…
(Junko takes out a picture of her and her sister)
Junko: This is my sister, Mukuro Ikusaba, the Ultimate Soldier. Very few can match her skill, and it so happens she's sworn her undying loyalty to moi.
Junko: I need her found, and I need her ass brought back here! She'll be useful… for now.
Maleficent: Very well then…
(She directs the picture to the Heartless)
Maleficent: Find this girl, and bring her here alive!
(The Heartless soon disappear, off to find Mukuro)
Junko: Perfect, so is it just us or…?
Maleficent: Oh don't worry, there are plenty more who wish to find the Princesses and unlock the powers of darkness. You'll be in good company…
Junko: I never thought I'd say this, but I have high hopes this will work out just fine.
(Suddenly Junko starts laughing, and soon after Maleficent joins her in her jolly despair as the two exit the room…)
